Donut Prince

Donut Prince

Reviews Summary

Donut Prince is overwhelmingly praised for its exceptional donuts, particularly the apple fritters, powdered donuts, and old-fashioned varieties, described as fresh, light, and uniquely crispy. Many highlight the friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and celebrity photos. The shop’s Thai tea, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches also receive high marks. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention unfriendly staff or hygiene concerns. Notably, multiple customers humorously credit the donuts with "saving their marriages." OMG these donuts are so friken good. I don't know why people bother with Krispy Kreme or Dunkin when this exists.

Can I please be in the next commercial for Donut Prince? "Don't get a divorce. Get a donut!" Some of the greatest words ever created! This place & these people totally rock!

Donut Prince is a must-visit! Their donuts are always fresh and delicious, and the service is top-notch. This Cambodian-owned shop has a great variety of tasty treats, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time. Highly recommend for both the donuts and the warm atmosphere!

The donuts are absolutely amazing there so good!! This place also saved my marriage I've been more intimate with my wife, whenever I need to get it up I just think about how good the donuts are and it always get the sail up. In summary 10/10

I love trying donuts spots, especially when they accept credit card as a form of payment! I know it's a small feature, but it helps as I don't carry cash. Ok, aside from that the donuts are GREAT! The prices are not crazy and the taste is spot on. Cake middle with just a slight crispy outer layer on the plain ones. The icing isn't too heavy. The best part was is wasn't the early morning (5-8am) and the selection was plentiful. Will be going back to this location

Great mom and pop donut place. The donuts are light and airy. They have your standard selection of donuts, but also have a few unique flavors that make you want to come back and try. Can't wait to visit again.

Great quick stop for coffee, pastries, donuts, and sandwiches. Very nice people. Open early so you don't miss your flight.

I was so excited to try this place, but I was so disappointed! The cinnamon donut with walnuts was horrible! The boba in the smoothie was worse! ImWay too overpriced! The lady working there was rude and was not welcoming!

Very famous and most favorite doughnut shop in Hollywood. You can see pics of many famous celebrities on store wall of fame. Staff is very friendly. They have many varieties of doughnuts, croissants, bagels, boba tea and fresh fruit juices. I enjoyed thai ice tea with boba and avocado egg croissant.

dude I saw the video on Instagram and then I called them at 1:29 AM and they actually picked up I live in Texas This is so cool im going here! one day

Deliciousness! We couldn't find a doughnut place to hit until we were driving around searching for some good breakfast. Wow, we ordered a breakfast sandwich and their croissants are fantastic. It was fluffy and buttery! The sandwich just melted in my mouth. The even better part is that she asked if I wanted mayonnaise. The woman knew the way to my heart.... Their doughnuts, yes, I'm not a fan of doughnuts and I'm not a connoisseur. I had a donut hole and it also melted in my mouth! The great thing I saw, t

I was just looking for a plain donut. I had a hard time choosing once I walked in. I had the walnut cinnamon roll. I made a great choice. It was as good as it looked.

The cinnamon twist donut is the favorite and we have tried already 3 times but no luck must go when freshly baked they are the best and the most popular.

Always love a good "mom and pop" style donut. The donuts are delicious, they never disappoint. The only time I was not fully satisfied, but still very happy, was one time when I got freshly made donuts. The boxes were nice and warm but unfortunately because they were fresh the donuts were still filled with some excess oil. Not a big deal, just showed me how fresh they were. I just dried them with a napkin meaning I had to wait a few seconds to eat those delicious donuts! I always come here to get a box, o

This is, by far, one of my favorite donut places ever. I being these into work every so often and they're consistently snatched up as soon as they get there lol. Highly highly recommend because i don't think ive ever had a donut that didn't taste amazing. They also have juices, coffee, and sandwiches that look pretty good.

Me and my wife were getting dounuts together right before we went to the court house to finalize our divorce after 46 years of marriage, after both taking a bite of the chocolate donut we both decided to stay together and when we got home we knew that the good taste of the donut saved our marriage, thanks !!!

I never knew donuts could bring a family together, could save a relationship, could end famine and war.... If you have not traveled half way across the galaxy for these donuts; you are missing out on unparalelled deliciousness. These donuts are what saved Dr. Who from the darleks. They are what redeemed Darth Vader back in Anakin. These! Are the donuts! That allowed Harry to defeat Voldemort! What more can I say? Don't miss out on the greatest upgrade to your life.

These donuts saved my failing marriage a couple years back. Now we are the proud parents of 2 twin bundles of joy. God bless

Cozy donut shop that makes tasty French Cruellers! I guess the owners know alot of celebrities because their pictures are posted everywhere with the owners Coffee is really good and I tried the sausage crossiant with ham. I also got an iced mocha ?? Plenty of parking and seating Orders under $10 you pay 50 cents on a credit or debit card

Open 24 hours with plenty of parking, they have a pretty tasty variety of classic donuts, the French crullers are good, it seems like some famous people have been here (?)

We meet here every Friday night for Classic Japanese car meet . 9:30pm-12 am. Great Cofee. Super Hot ! . Some fresh donuts. CVS. Rite there and McDonald's behind. It's a world Famous place for many Movies

Best donuts in town. Always fresh. They never disappoint. Freshly brewed coffee.

It?s been over a month since I?ve left LA, and I?m still dreaming about these donuts! These were the best donuts I?ve ever had, and if I am ever back in Burbank, this place is a MUST!

I LOVE YOUR COMMERCIAL!!! ?? I saw it on Facebook!!! Hopefully I?ll get to visit someday! ?? Donuts are my favorite ????

Came here to make sure everyone knows about the fantasy donuts and awesome couple with a sense of humor running it. Don't get a divorce get a donut!

Very nice people and a nice place to get some good breakfast

$20 for 6 Donuts. That?s about $2.80 per donut. Actual cost layout was $17 for 6 donuts plus tax. Ridiculous. No itemized receipt. Donuts were bland. Never coming back here, that price is outrageous for the product. At this point it isn?t about inflation, it?s just maximum profit. No thanks.

I only went because I went to ANOTHER PLACE for donuts but i watched the lady go straight from cash register touching money and wipe her face and cough and then use her fingers as an icing spreader on the maple bars. THE SIGN ON THIS PLACE IS CLEVER. THEY'RE CLEAN. DECENT DONUT. FRIENDLY . FAST .

FANTASTIC donuts! Private owned. Very fresh! "Sweet" counter help also.

Great donuts, a great variety of coffee. Our service was quick and friendly and even our breakfast sandwiches were out to us fast and were delicious. I?d rather support a small, family business like this than a National Chain any day.

Worst service worst place to buy anything from. They charge you just to make a transaction with them plus, I informed the owner that I do not meet and he still gave me a croissant with ham in it and then when I returned to tell him that I just told him I want something without me. He didn?t even apologize or make it better worse place.

All best but one particular one i dont like is that if they closed they make donuts..

I drove here from London Ontario Canada just because of the Instagram commercial. It was amazing

I came here strictly from the commercial about eat donuts don't divorce

Fantastic commercials, donuts have now saved my marriage

Came out just because of the IG commercial and was not disappointed.

Without a doubt the best lemon filled donut I have ever eaten! Also, I don?t even like chocolate covered donuts and the ones from here are amazing! In LA from Oklahoma and happened to stumble across this gem by accident.

I travelled from Australia and stayed at the Safari Inn. It made sense to walk to Donut Prince for breakfast, and was very glad I did. The Glazed and Icing sugar donuts are delicious and unlike anything I have eaten back home. The store has a big range of different flavours. Highly recommended!

Suddenly I love my wife again after eating these donuts

I also have to give them a 5 star for the Comercial omg!!

Friendly setting, great apple fritter...highlight of my morning thus far.....

I never been here but I love the ad video. I'll update this when I went here.

Heard many positive things about this place. I finally was in the area and stopped by. I specifically asked if my cinnamon roll was fresh, as it was 10am. She said yes. Wrong! Old and dray. To pay over $8 for a single cinnamon roll and a Snapple, to be this overpriced and bad quality, very disappointing! Should have gone to Krispy Kreme a mile down

I went to this place for the 1st time yesterday. In NC, we have wonderful apple trees, apple picking, pies, and different pastries, but baebay, I have never tasted an aple fritter that was this good in my life. The crispy outside with the delicious center was to die for. I am literally considering driving 30 minutes to get another one before I return home. The egg and advocado croissant along with the cinnamon hazelnut coffee was delicious as well.

Really really good! It was the closest from the hotel, but by surprise the best I ever eaten

Love this place, even tough we still ended up getting a divorce

This is the first time I have been here and it certainly won't be the last... I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and it was excellent! Crisp bacon and a really nice portion! Honestly, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in years! I tried donuts as well, very tasty! I can see why celebrities rave about this place, you have a customer for life with me ??????

I have to give her five star just for the commercial

It?s been a very long time I haven?t had a good coffee and croissants. Highly recommended. And the sweet lady who works there was helping me to get my order cause I was holding my baby.

Did not visit, but 5 stars for Asian family business!

The service is always quick and server is professional and friendly, but the real reason we go here is that the donuts are so delicious and fresh. There is a large variety to choose from and the coffee is very good. You can take it to go or you can sit there and enjoy it .

Ordered an avocado cheese and egg bagel.. the worst I have ever had. The bagel was so small and the owner just laughed when I told him that it's a shame the he is charging so much for a very small bagel. It was as small as a regular donut ??. As well add the fact that it was sooooooo hard and it tasted old. He did not care at all. He just cared to make money. Where has customers service gone.. I had to throw half of the bagel away because it was that hard. It was hurting my mouth when I took a bit.

This is a hidden gem. The donuts were excellent and the coffee bar offered several different flavors. The owner is awesome and the donuts were quality deliciousness. I would come here every day if I lived in the area.

It's an old school donut shop that has such a loyal following of regular customers within this Burbank Neighborhood area. Many of the aging Senior Burbank Community residents still nostalgically come here constantly for a donut & coffee. Many loyal customers come early to pick up dozens of Donuts to bring into work in the mornings. Though not the same original owners, they still kept the recipes the same which is great. The Donuts are always freshly made and run out quick. . . So if you see a favorite JUS

yummy donuts from a mom & and pop shop on Olive. we loved the maple bars.

This was my first time there and I got there just in time to get some of the last remaining Christmas themed donuts as a gift. I also love apple fritters and got one. So delicious and crispy. When I left there was a very long line outside (glad I missed that). This place deserves it's busy-ness. The employees were very efficient and nice.

Every great local donut shop has to have at least one speciality donut that keeps people coming back. So what is the best kept secret about Donut Prince?? They actually make old school powdered donuts, and they're insanely good!! In fact all of their cake donuts are off-the-charts fresh, light, and incredible. I don't know how they do it, but their powdered donuts actually have a little crispy edge to them that you just have to experience for yourself....SO good!! Their cinnamon cake donuts are equally

The coffee is very good and the selection is great. The donuts are some of the best I've tasted. Every time I'm in Burbank I stop there for their donuts.

These donuts saved my marriage! Thank you Donut Prince!!!

Who is here because of the ad from Instagram I will try this out when I come.

We were close to Donut Prince early this morning. Dropped in there for a coffee n bagel which was pretty good. Everything is good about the place except that the it?s not a friendly place. The guy at the billing counter was grumpy thru out.

Local Landmark in Burbank with a great, classic Hollywood studios history vibe. I'm not exactly a donut fanatic, but if I'm going to have something, I'm coming here. Better than anywhere else I've tried in Burbank. Special attention to their old fashioned and buttermilk donuts. I can't believe how good they are. All the pictures of actors are pretty cool to see too.

For such a quirky establishment, the attitude of the people working there was miserable. When we asked for vegan options, there was absolutely nothing! We could have stayed and had coffee but the staff walked away.

Don't get a divorce. Get a donut!

No latte or capuchino, so asked a mocha then got a simple hot chocolate... No description or signs for the donuts so you have to ask everything, which isn't pleasant when there is a line behind you. Donuts were edible, a bit below average.

These donuts saved my marriage

Good coffee fresh donuts. Friendly mom n pop shop.

Got Donuts here took them home and realised they were hard as a rock, like they were a day old. When I pointed to the donuts I want I noticed the person gave me the donuts from the back and I didn't think of anything but when I got home I realized why those donuts were back there away from The View, because they were old and hard Donuts. Never going back there. Best donuts I had that are fresh at any time of the day is at Rainbow Donuts on Imperial in Norwalk.

It is one of the best classic donut spots in Southern California .Donuts are always fresh and delicious. Give it a try if you're in the area.

Donuts and breakfast sandwiches are good but the guy behind the counter is not a morning person

Honestly can never go wrong with this place. Always amazing service and the donuts here never miss. Highly recommend coming here as it is definitely one of the best mom and pop donut spots in Burbank.

Stopped by this morning to try it out. First thing I noticed when I walked in was that the guy at the counter was not wearing a face mask or gloves. As he was preparing the coffee for the person in front of me I noticed him picking his nose briefly and scratching his face, then proceded to ring him up touching the money. As it was my turn to order I watch him closely as he went to the back to grab the stuff to prepare my sandwich. Took him less then a minute to grab the stuff, no way on earth he had the tim

I wish I could leave no stars. Poor service, terrible coffee. The medium brew coffee tasted like hot water so I asked if I could switch to a darker brew after only one sip. She said I'd have to pay for it. I explained that it was almost clear, it was so weak. She didn't budge. Donuts were mediocre at best.

Their donuts saved my marriage

I grew up with the best donut place in the world. Like literally. People would drive distances from this place so I would say I'm a bit of a donut snob... I had read reviews of Donut Prince and Donut hut and was like ok... Let's see which is actually better... So my bff and I taste tested. Aaaaaaand... Donut Prince by a mile!! The donut holes are amazing, the weird chocolate chip thing was SO GOOD!! best apple fritter like ever! Yeah, their English may be dicey but when looking for a donut what does that ma

Good coffee the rest are worth only one star. The croissant a are almost never fresh ... Made the mistake twice thinking maybe that was not a good day but two times in a row? And not all the donuts are daily made!!

Good donuts here, but a bit more expensive than some other local spots which is the reason for the one star reduction. Also, please be aware that there is a fee if you want to use your credit card.

Nice Mom & Pop donut shop. Donuts were fresh, and the coffee was hot. Plenty of parking, and the man behind the counter was pleasant. Solid adherence to COVID protocols.

I ordered watermelon smoothie, she (owner) gave me vanilla smoothie. I asked for refund or correct the order, she adamantly refused. She said, ?no refund!? And that I ordered vanilla. Instead, she entertained order customer and ignored my presence.

A long time favorite after-workout hangout, we almost enjoy the atmosphere more than the donuts. Actually, the donuts are fine, and some are quite good.

First time here. I can't wait to come back! Finally, a real donut shop. This place is dripping with ambiance. Very clean, very good!

Go all the time. Very friendly, they even know my regular order! Better coffee than starbucks' overpriced taste-ruiner by far. And hey, im from Seattle, so I know a thing or two, lol.

Burbank has plenty of donut shops ? both mom & pop and corporate ? but in my estimation there are two that top the list for quality: Donut Prince and Doughnut Hut. Donut Prince sells all the normal stuff that you expect from a donut shop, but they also sell some that you can?t get elsewhere in town. They use powdered sugar coatings, peanut butter fillings, twist jellies into the center, and more. Even their regular selection is better than the rest, being a higher quality. I haven?t found a tired donut in t

Thai ice tea with boba is my favorite. It's open 24/7 I have been coming here for very long time. Good place for coffee and donut.

I love the donuts here. Good selection of coffee.

I wish I lived in Burbank so I can visit this place.

The best apple fritter on the planet. And the Thai tea is great. The only downside is that your charge $0.50 if you use a card. Nice people.

Good selection. Fresh donuts. Didn't have a donut I've been looking for.
