Hands down best tasting donuts I?ve had in stl. I grew up near the ellisville location and have been going since the 90s when it was just a small shop. They?ve since expanded that location AND opened another location on Lindbergh. The new location is just as good as the original with friendly staff, fresh donuts made every day, and even have empty shells that they fill to order so you can customize your shell/filling! I'm a super huge donut fan. They're my favorite thing in the world. I've tried the donuts at various establishments around St. Louis, and I'm always on the lookout for new places to try. I was excited to hear that Donut Palace had opened a location in Sunset Hills. I heard about their location in Ellisville, but it was a bit of a drive from my house, so I had yet to try them. First time trying. We were impressed with the quality of the donuts. Good flavor. Next time I want to try a filled donut (you can pick your filling). Glad to have this place close to us in south county.
Great donuts but don't sleep in. They sell out daily which assures they are always fresh. My First visit was a bit of a panic situation. While in a long line every donut I was planning to get was bought up. And the guy behind the counter was overwhelmed and more curt than courteous. My Latest visit was such a great experience. It was Later in the day so less selection but super customer focused.
Actually my rating is on their Ellisville location I didn?t know until now they had opened another one. I will be there by the weeks end!! They are amazing!! You?ll never want any other Apple fritter again!!!
I was worried reading the reviews that said there was no selection but we tried anyway and I?m so glad we did! We had a 5 star experience today. We got there at 9:15am on Sunday and there were plenty of staff ready to help, it was absolutely spotless and our donuts were so so good. I had a long jon they filled with custard on the spot! We will be back.
I've experienced their donuts before through other people and today I visited myself. I wasn't sure what to expect at 9am on a Friday because everyone knows that even at 9am, that can be late for donuts. Their selection was still great and I was able to get a nice assortment. I especially love the options for fillings. I'm used to jelly and custard donuts being pre filled. They'll do that on the spot with about 5 different filling options. Love their donuts! Their frosting is amazing, and my dad was a huge fan of the custom filled donuts.
My son and I go here every Friday for donuts, the owners are incredibly kind and the donuts are fantastic!
The place is very clean, friendly service, and DELICIOUS donuts. The Apple Fritters and Bacon Maple donuts are our favorites. Highly recommend!

they are always out of most everything. I've gone four different times in the last two weeks and each time they were out of most donuts. Really frustrating. Don't waste the trip.
Great little donut spot. They have a wide range of donuts to choose from. I hope they get more exotic in their flavors, but what they do have are quality made.
Finally got there today - no signage - trying to find door - etc got stuck in drive through for Jimmy John?s ! Finally found door & hardly any donuts - disappointed !! The few donuts we did get were good but not worth the stress!!!
I have tried more donut shops in the St. Louis area than I probably should and Donut Palace is by far my favorite. Amazing!
It may just be inflation and I realize everything is expensive because of Sunset Hills taxes but $18 for 8 donuts is crazy to me!

Being a donut store you might actually have donuts to sell. Walked in at 11 am and they were out of donuts.
They do not understand the basics of running a business. No hours posted online anywhere and they do not answer their phone which goes to a generic voicemail.
