Love these donuts. Fresh and clean tasting. I got pbJ and powdered Bavarian. The PB J had the perfect ratio of PB to jelly flavor. Well balanced. I love the custard. Love it. Thank you
Stopped here from out of town and was very pleased that we found Donut Kraze. The service was very quick, and the ladies were sweet and friendly. They offer a large variety of donut flavors, along with a couple of other options like bagels/coffee. The donuts were VERY fresh and tasty.
They didn't have the donut my daughter wanted, so she made her a fresh one.
Just like great Aunt Mil used to make from scratch! I believe the true test to see if you like a donut shop is to try the plain donut. Incredible! Drove all the way out from Akron to check it out and it was well worth the drive. Even have a drive-thru! Extensive menu. Friendly staff. Clean
Fantastic donuts. Clever flavors and pleasant staff. I have driven by donut craze many times, and today was the day I stopped. I was not disappointed. A very modest storefront, I believe a former Dickies donuts. But it is very nice and clean inside. I will definitely be back.
Awesome service! Lemon filled donut was not available but the server made fresh ones for us. The breakfast sandwiches are huge and full of bacon.
I dare you to have a donut in this place. You'll never go back to Tim Hortons for a donut again. Tried the key lime donut ,which they made for me on the spot by the way, and now it's my new favorite. I'll still go to Timmy's for the coffee, but that's it.
1st time trying. I have to say the breakfast sandwich was soo good. Got a Jalape?o Bagel egg/bacon/cheese sandwich and tried two of their donuts. They were FRESH, SOFT, SWEET! Seriously the Mr. Loved them. Will definitely come back!
Great donuts. Decently priced good service many flavors
I love donuts as much as the next guy, but at this point in my life, I'm trying to stay away from them, lol! They are good, though, but I can't recommend the breakfast sandwiches enough!!!! Right next to the Thruway, grab your sandwich and coffee and hit the road!!!
Date of visit: Sat Feb 18, 2023 Donut Kraze is a run of the mill community coffee shop -complete with local patrons who are obviously regulars. Upon first site- you may not give Donut Kraze much of a thought, but once you go in, and you see the donut selection ? you will be in love. They have many donuts on the go at any time. Classics, plain, filled, stuffed, coated, crullers and twists. The flavour options will leave you stuck with a tough choice. So many flavours that have become favourites for us. We ma
Not a very welcoming environment...employees didn't seem to thrilled to have to serve me in general and to top it all off the donuts were stale. Won't ever spend money with this business again
I can not believe we didnt find this place sooner! Both locations carry same flavors and they are definitely fresh and sooo soft! They ARE NOT OVERLY SWEET LIKE OTHER places! I was inlove with Famous Donuts,BUT THEY ARE NOT EVEN A AFTER THOUGHT!! U must try the banana cream, strawberry cheese cake, cream cheese ,fritter , Reese cup and red velvet ALL OF THE DONUTS WE TRIED WERE A HIT! NOW THIS IS OUR FAMILY FAVORITE!!NONE EVER GO TO WASTE!!???? Cuatomer service is awrsome and very friendly.. must try u will n
Great atmosphere and nice people especially Kirsten. She?s terrific they are lucky to have her there
Such a cozy little place. Very friendly workers and the best donuts ever!
I have never been here, but heard good reviews! They did not disappoint! I bought 5 dozen donuts for our work fall party. I will be going back for sure. Everyone raved about the donuts! The dough was soft but filling. All the varieties were not too sweet either. A++! Thank you Donut Kraze! I went to the one on Main Street in Tonawanda. They had everything ready for me!
A hidden gem! Fresh and fluffy donuts and a great selection of flavours to choose from!
One of the most underrated hidden gems that I am so lucky to have been acquainted with!! And it's more than just donuts they offer here, but I'll leave you to go check it out yourself to be pleasantly surprised in the same fashion as I was.. And let me tell you, if you have an appreciation at as deep a level as I do for donuts, you'll want to treat yourself maybe just once, shortly after they open and order one of their Banana_Cream_Donuts (or any choice for that matter) and let that donut grace your whole
It's definitely worth the 60-mile drive!! Will be returning for sure!!
Rose and Ashley are the best, always enjoy our conversations. Thank you ladies :)
It was a good donut ...as good if not better the other "donut" places in the area ...breakfast sandwich also was good but not ground breaking ...you go for the donuts ..which were also 9 bucks cheaper per dozen than other "donut places" in the Larkin area but do not skimp on filling or flavors
Probably better to be honest with your customers and say that you don't care that the to go cup lids don't fit instead of lying by saying "that's the only cups/lids available." Just admit your too lazy or cheap to rectify the issue. Good thing your donuts are amazing. Customer service is dead.
An excellent example of an old-fashioned donut shop. No crazy, outrageous flavors here - but all the classics you know and love. Cashier was friendly and the space was clean. Always nice to have a spot to dash in for a quick treat and this fit the bill nicely. Fairly easy to access with only a short detour off from 219.
Cute small donut shop. Offers various flavors or donuts, sandwiches and drinks
Donut Kraze is our exclusive donut shop!!! The wife and I are in love with their Kreme cheese donut...just amazing!!! Our daughter just loves the pink frosted ring!!! So we have also had a few issues in our years of coming here. I have gotten the Kreme cheese donut, gotten home and it was filled with banana...not a pleasant thing when you're looking for Kreme cheese flavor. But in Donut Kraze fashion it was immediately handled and handled well!!! The owner is a stand up guy and is looking to keep his custom
The staff is friendly. The doughnuts are so good you can pretend the economy isn't in shambles!
Nicole at the front was beyond friendly and had the best recommendations!!!! Good fresh donuts even at 5:30 pm on a Sunday.
Yummy, fluffy and the donuts weren't greasy at all.
I walked in about 30 minutes to close and needed 20 donuts for my wife?s classroom in the morning. They didn?t have any made, so the nice lady working alone went out of her way to make 20 fresh. She was so nice and didn?t have to do that. There are still great people out there!
The location on Dingens is just as good, as it is in Tonawanda. There are some different varieties of doughnuts there, depending on who is making them. The tables and bathroom are always clean. The employees I have encountered there are very nice and do their jobs well.
It is a little more expensive than a lot of places for a dozen but it's worth it. They are very light and there are so many different flavors to choose from. The white cream is sweet but not overly sweet like some can be. The staff is so helpful and patient when making selections and keeping track of how many I picked out.
Best DONUTS anywhere. We had coffee too, and it was super fresh and bold. Waitress was fantastic. I've been coming here for years. You have to go. I like it better than Paula's!!!!
Absolutely love this my wife and I go ev morning for either a 1/2 dozen or donuts lor a whole dozen! ALWAYS FRESH and they are ALWAYS FULLY FILLED WITH WHEREVER / EVERY OR ANYIND YOU GET! Always A pleasure MOST OF THE Employees ARE Pleasant to see
Great customer service the lady that served used was very patient with.. the donuts were great I got powdered Bavarian was great and my husband got the peanut butter and jelly donut he said was different but delicious ??.. definitely going back
There were so many flavours. I bought 6 different kinds. They were some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. Better than any other place I have tried in Buffalo. They were still fresh enough to eat the next day which is unusual for donuts. I thought the cinnamon roll needed a lot more cinnamon especially considering it is more expensive than the other ones. The cream filling is amazing. I could eat a bowl of just that alone. The decor was nice. The bathrooms were good. Staff could have been a bit more frien
Donut Kraze was excellent, as always! I enjoy finding myself in this part of town with a few extra minutes to visit. The staff seems to be attentive and happy to take your order. I enjoyed that the customer following me knew them personally and enjoyed catching up. The donuts are delightfully fresh and still made in house using traditional methods as opposed to partially made in a factory like the chain shops do. I was pleased to hear a string of customers arrive as I enjoyed two donuts.
Very good food and great service
We read the reviews and had to go there. Magically filled puffs of love! Soooo delicious!! Highly recommend!!
Great place with very nice employees. Donuts are good, light and not super heavy. Good selection with a few unique flavors. Fair prices. All told a good place to get donuts.
It's small but nice.
The donuts here are good. This was my first visit. I had a coconut custard and a powdered strawberry cheesecake. Both were delicious. What I like most is the donuts are not to overly sweet like the major chain donut shops. You know the type of sweet that will give you diabetes. The donuts from Donut Kraze are just right and they are GOOD! If this place has anything wrong with it, it would be the outdated interior. It needs an upgrade to liven up the place. But if you can put the aside, you wont be dis
Good classic donuts, but nothing about this place says ?crazy? to me. The parking lot is a little janky and the inside decor is kind of run down. I?d go again, but its not my favorite donut place in WNY.
Great service, friendly waitresses and delicious donuts! Our stop before work almost daily...and don't forget that buttered hardroll and coffee...always served with a smile.
If you like Paula's Donuts you MUST try Donut Kraze. This is where Paula's got their recipe - and just made their donuts larger. Donut Kraze is better because the donuts are normal sized and it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's a great shop right off of the highway - super convenient. You can sit and hang out for hours at any time of day. I love this place. Even at 10 pm on a Monday, they had about 12 different kinds of donuts ready to order, nice and fresh! Such a treat.
Excellent donuts as they should be. This place always has friendly service and makes great donuts, period. Don't be fooled by other hyped up places in town, its all perception; and bigger does not mean better. Donut craze makes a fresh tasting, classic selection of donuts. The cream filled peanut is highly recommended.
Delicious fresh donuts . No frills and right off the highway
I feel so lucky to live close to a 24 hour donut shop, especially such a good one! Very kind people, delicious donuts, coffee, and sandwiches. They also have some very unique flavors like pineapple filling. I will definitely be going here more often.
Here and there I manage to drive down there and get a dozen box for my family. I try the Paula's doughnuts and I was not impressed, I can see how ppl love them so much, they are oversized and loaded with the sugar we all love, but! they are lacking on flavors. The flavor and texture of Donut Kraze dough is much richer and better than the more popular doughnuts in this are (Paulas). This are not oversized and each doughnuts is a different yummy experience ?? If you have travel and OR have a more experienced
Thank you, Donut Kraze for all of the extra pounds your products have put on me. Can't say any other bakery or donut shop lures me like Donut Craze! Amazing selections of donuts also breakfast! Has a drive thru. Highly recommend ??!
I ordered two number one breakfast meals, which includes a sandwich, a hash brown OR doughnut and a cup of coffee. I got one sandwich and no coffee. The waitress should pay more attention instead of gossiping with the customers, she may have got my order right.
Best donuts. Usually service is great but today not so much! Out of a bunch of donuts, plus got different favors that looked the same, lady mixed all together??no way no knowing difference
The Doughnuts are fantastic. They blow all the chain restaurants out of the water. The best time to come is during the morning or day. Late at night when they are cooking. Their is usually a limited selection left from the day. The prices are good and so is the service.
I grew up on this style of donuts when "Dickies" donuts occupied this location many years ago. Perfect size compared to Paula's. I mean Paula's doughnuts are good in their own rights however they are HUGE compare to Donut Kraze. I get the "shakes" after forcing down a whole donut from Paula's. Donut Kraze is a great place for those tender, moning morsels...
The freshest donuts ever! Always delicious, always fresh, never hard or dry. Even on the second day, Donut Craze donuts are better than every other donuts, bar none. Just try them.
Disappointed after getting a dozen here. Tops has better doughnuts and Paula's is way better also. Some of what we wne t there for at the buffalo location is only about the Tonawanda location. What we did get was just ok flavor and freshness wise. The two older women at the counter were not friendly at all and had zero patience. Not going back
Very good coffee and donuts. It was 1:30 AM and she was about to through out the old batch of donuts do we each got one for free. The decaf coffee was so good you would never know it was decaf. The waters was very friendly also.
Was pretty had. Line at Paulas Donuts was crazy so figured why not try this place. The selection was scarce and the freshness was not there. Both donuts we got were old and I didn't tell my wife, but there flies inside the display case. Womt be visiting again, be careful if you eat from here.
Sad that they're not open past 7 but that's small complaints for the best donuts in the county.
I love Donut Kraze. I won't go anywhere else for Donuts. They are so fresh, have an aweosme assortment along with the standard favorites. The staff are always fast and the apple fritters are to die for. Love love love!!!
My favorite doughnuts in WNY, unique flavor combinations if you're up for trying something new. For example banana filled chocolate frosted, or peanut butter and jelly filled. Really good dough. Lunch sandwiches are good.
Love this place! Been going here for years but today we took our daughter here for the first time and who ever the old lady that was working was very rude! We got a dozen donuts and she only let us pick out six! When we asked for her name, because she wasn't waring a name tag she refused and rushed us out. Again love this place but todays service was crazy.??
They are wonderful! The donuts a great and the sandwiches are always so fresh and tasty. Hands down my favorite spot when I was pregnant with my daughter.
Great example of a local business. A rebirth of an old Dickies Donuts, this establishment is going to become a staple in buffalo breakfast spots. The donuts are great, the combos are cheap and the service was spot on. I forget which combo i got but it came with a breakfast sandwich, donut, and coffee. The sandwich came out crazy fast, along with the large selection of donuts I'm definitely going make this place a weekend breakfast hangout. Lastly for the Donut enthusiasts, I preferred these donuts over
Terrible! Will NOT be back. The donuts are barely filled, they never have their selections stocked. It's always an excuse of "we haven't had time yet". The employees more often then not have an attitude. Not worth it, will drive the extra 10 minutes to Paula's! Just lost another customer!
RUDE YOUR FRONT COUNTER PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING never have any doughnuts I come in and ask is this all you have nasty blonde at counter said yea what u expect umm I expect to see your shelves filled since you been open for a half hour now I?ll never go back there The two ladies today where talking about the owner and how terrible he is I was waiting for them to be done talking Mind you this is on may 23 @555am A blonde and a older brunette women Just bashing the owner I?ll never be back I?ll keep choosing Pau
It's a relatively small shop, but the donuts are always fresh-the shell of the filled donuts is tender and light-Love these donuts!...the counter person wasn't the friendliest, (not so much as a smile!) so .... 4 stars instead of 5...cause the donuts are that good!
Do you use peanut oil? Or is the oil you use bad?
I used the drive thru this morning (March 28, 2022) which is just a window on the side of the building. I ask for a Sour Cream Glazed and a Old Fashioned Glazed donut. The lady at the window simply tells me that it's called a Glazed doughnut. I responded with "As long as I've lived and breathed it's been called an Old-Fashioned Glazed". Mine you I've never been to Donut Kraze before so I don't know their lingo for their donuts. Every place is to be different, don't believe me I worked at Tim Hortons for sev
In town on vacation. Just happened to see after getting off wrong exit. Glad I stopped! Donuts are not overly sweet and taste great. Some of best I've eaten. I recommend going to if in area.
Friendly staff and always keep track of how many donuts you have left when you order a dozen, so you don?t forget like me. Breakfast sandwiches are good too! Pastry hearts are to die for
I went to Donut Kraze today because I love their donuts. What I didn?t like with my observation was, she used the same glove to open the drive through window, I pray she didn?t use it for my sandwich, pick up my donut, and bagged it. There?s more, she used the same hand with the glove on it to through something in the garbage and took the cash to cash out a customer. My recommendation as being a business owner. Please change your gloves to prevent bacteria and cross contamination.
The doughnuts are amazing but the employee that works the overnight shift is rude and moody. She sighs, rolls her eyes and rushes you through your order. She definitely lacks customer service skills.
Great donuts. Made me a special donut I mentioned on the spot. Love it. I'll be back.
Donuts at their best. We rarely get to buy them because of work times, but when we do we enjoy every bite.
Best doughnuts there is. Great staff, prices are good, place is clean. I go every chance I can. Highly recommended. My opinion way better than Paula's.
NOT. WORTH IT. honestly the cream and custard tasted horrible, the donuts were soooo dry like they were a few days old, we tried 12 different donuts and couldnt take a second bite out of any of them sorry but we were totally fooled by the 4.6 rating
Horrible experience! Tried charging me over $15 dollars to fill my thermos! Luckily she only dumped about about 10oz. In before she told me what she was planning on charging me. I told her that I wouldn't be purchasing the coffee and she threw a fit , using obscene language in front of myself and other customers. Had to hand her $5 to get my Thermos back. Hopefully the manager and/or owner reads this. This employee is horrible for buisness. This was my first and only time in this business and I'm sure I'm
I'm usually a regular. I am a manager at the Wendy's right next door, I like getting the breakfast sandwiches on the weekends. Today, first bad experience there and I'm not happy. I usually get the KRAZE breakfast sandwich. It ORIGINALLY doesn't come with cheese. It's a donut sandwich.. Ive gotten it 3 times already. Today they put cheese, on both sandwiches I call and ask to have them remade she says yes so I go there , and I hear the woman in the back. Very nasty, in her voice " oh well she better have br
Great unique and tasty donuts and great customer service.
Local alternatives are usually better than their national chain counterparts, and this place is no exception. Offering much better donuts that any Dunkin Donuts or Tim Hortons, if you think Paula's Donuts uses too much cream filling in their donuts like I do, you will like this place.
The donuts here are to die for. Light, filled to the max, perfect shape and the most delectable morsels of unforgettable taste. I highly recommend a quick stop, grab and go, or sit down for a light breakfast or lunch. Where Bob, Stan. Genevieve and Polly might visit.
It's hard to rate what's better, the donuts or the staff. I guess it's a tie. They're both excellent. This is a classic donut shop. If you look through the door you can see them preparing the donuts in the back. None of that pre-frozen stuff. And on special occasions like Easter they hand-decorate specialty donuts. They have all the traditional donut types, but also some neat improv ones.
I'm pretty sure the cream-filled donut I had was filled with US Foods or some other foodservice distributor's vanilla pudding from the big #10 can (very flat metallic taste), but everything else I've had from them was quite good.
More often than not this is the selection that we walk into. If you plan to have a place thats open 24 hours then you must have donuts available 24 hours. This selection is laughable and the employee agreed. I dont understand why they don't keep fresh products coming out through out the night. Now reasons like this are why people avoid the privately owned places and just go to Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts. At least those bakery/donut shops will actually have donuts available. I mean get this the place is ac
The great donut debate has been raging on for years, with no end in site. Wars have been fought over donuts, probably. A tale as old as time, love a donut, eat a donut, lose a donut, post-donut depression as you wish you had another donut. Are Donut Kraze's donuts good? Yes. Yes they are.
Breakfast items were incredible. I don't usually eat them but these are great. Try the donut craze special.
One of the few places to get fresh donuts in Buffalo. Forget Tim Horton's and grocery stores. Donut Kraze is even better than the revered Paula's Donuts. Try it! Don't believe Google saying it's closed or relocated. It's open, 24 hours a day even!
Locally owned donut shops are hard to find these days. The staff are friendly and the prices are great! Not to mention their donuts are far better than any nationally owned chains. The coffee is coffee. Nothing special.
