Donut & Kolache Express

This is a very nice donut store for family. Donuts are fresh. There are so many varieties of kolache. Tacos are great! My children love to visit this store and browse at the selections. It is clean. The ladies working there are very kind and polite. It gives you the feeling of small-town family atmosphere.

We went to the grand opening! Our son had a great time picking out his own donut with sprinkles. The place was clean. The staff was very friendly. But even have good breakfast tacos in case you're hungry like I was. The croissant sandwiches looked big and full of food. I'll definitely try one next time. Everything has a pretty low price point, which is shocking with the inflation. They even have a decent selection of breakfast muffins. Something that I don't often see in donut shops. I found this place a few months ago after dropping my truck off for new tires across the parking lot. Just stopped in to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. Left realizing I'd found a hidden gem. Croissant sandwich is the best around and it's not even close.

Neighborhood not safe, homeless people everywhere,Chinese woman that works there gets frustrated with you when you place your order because she doesn't understand the English Language too well. Food is old ,not fresh. Go someplace better where you're treated with appreciation.

This is the perfect donut spot for the family. Quality of these donuts was top notch and the variety they offered was amazing. Their kolaches also rival other local kolache places. I definitely will be adding this to my usuals.

Donut Kolache Express, I?m not sure how long it has been open (I don?t think for too long with a Now Open banner) but it was great! Lots of variety with the donuts and delicious kolaches. I?ll be there all the time. Gonna get fat thanks to Donut Kolache Express.

Did too good to go and found out my order got canceled the last minute when I got there. It happened 2 times already and wasted my time!

These donuts are delicious. They have a drive-thru window, so they're convenient before work, and their variety is also great. I can't always find a boudin kolache or plain old-fashioned donut (for dunking in my coffee) at other places around town, but these guys have them and they're very tasty. I'm not sure what the difference is between regular chocolate-glazed and Texas chocolate-glazed, but the Texas ones were so delicious and fresh when I got some around 8:45 today. I'll definitely be back.

This place has the world's narrowest drive-thru. Lol! The donuts were enjoyed by the whole family! My kids especially love the donut holes and fruit fritters. I had an old-fashioned sour cream and it was amazing! Husband ate chocolate long John and enjoyed every bite!

The Kolache's were excellent, the filling was very good! The donuts were just as good. Excellent service. My wife loves the lemon filled donuts but they didn't have any so the lady went to the back and had some filled for me and she loved them.

Nice little shop, friendly staff. They'll heat up stuff if you wish. Range of kolache including sausage. Blueberry cake donuts well made. I think they request a minimum purchase of $3 if you use credit. Good place to visit if you're waiting on tires to be mounted at Discount Tire.

So sweet. The nice ladies. The donuts. The smell inside. The free WiFi (if you ask nicely). It's hard not to smile as you get high on sweet smell. Great place to treat yourself. Alas...while I would love to eat there every day, my high blood sugar forces keeps me in check. But if your body can afford the treats, you can't go wrong.

Good food, good service, and a good iced coffee. The kolaches are larger than the small ones you get at gas stations or from dunkin donuts. They are softer and appear to be made fresh every morning too. The iced coffee was on point and the lady at the drive thru window was friendly and quick. Can't beat that!

Great place! I've gone here several times the past month, including at around 1 in the afternoon. Unlike some other places I've been that stay open past morning, the kolaches and donuts here are always still fresh, warm and delicious. The service is always fast and really good and I've yet to try something that isn't absolutely delicious!

This place is fantastic! A lovely distinctive doughnut smell is heavy in the air, and they taste fantastic. A super kindly Asian lady was working the counter- perhaps the owner? She was very nice and even through a couple extra mini doughnuts in my half dozen! They taste amazing, I'll certainly be back here.

Simple and quaint. There is really nothing special about this place, but it is still really good. Their kolache bread tastes right, which is pretty impressive, and their breakfast tacos are impressive for a little mom and pop drive thru. This place has the best donuts I have ever tasted!! Bavarian cream can be gross, they nailed it! Flavor, consistency, and a good portion without drowning it! The service was on point, the staff is very polite and helpful! I usually don?t write reviews, but this place is awesome and I will definitely return!

Unfortunately, I probably won?t be coming here again. It was my first time visiting. The service was poor. I gave 3 stars because the food that I got to eat was decent. I ordered 2 eclairs and the girl bagged them on top of one another so on one of the all of the icing in on the bag and the other one the icing is on the bottom of the top one. First and last time. Pictures are deceiving. Location is literally a small shack like building. Donuts were sitting on a back shelf uncovered and there was flies everywhere. It reminded me of the Holly Molly Donut Shop from that Friday after next film. Customer service was poor. Not welcoming whatsoever. Donuts were hard and dry. Not impressed. If my kid wasn?t craving donuts, I would have walked out. Definitely do not recommend.

Low key best kolaches I've had in Austin so far. I admit I'm new to the world of kolaches but I've had a few now and these are my favorite. The actual pastry/bread is so soft and flavorful with tasty fillings. Very fast little drive thru too!

Really nice family owned place. Kolaches and donuts are okay - nothing unique. But it's a good location and they have a drive through. I did a bulk order with them once for a party and it was reasonably priced and they were very helpful.

Ehhh...not the best kolaches I've had. They're ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. The donuts looked good. The kolaches are not filled well. All meat is rolled out clumped down the middle. The cheese is not spread evenly and then you have a lot of dough around the filing. It seemed the ingredients we not the highest quality. There wasn't a lot of flavor.

The last 2 times I?ve been here, I left unsatisfied. I used to love stopping by on Sunday mornings. The last time sour milk was used in my coffee. Today, I was given an iced coffee with so much syrup that it literally never mixed with the coffee. Without exaggeration, it was like drinking out of a syrup bottle. Unfortunately, I went through the drive thru and wasn?t close enough to go back, so I just had to dump it out.

This was my first visit and will also be my last. The inside looks nothing like the photos here, all the inventory is on racks behind the counter so it is very hard to see. I was expected to try and order over other yelling patrons. It was Sunday morning and they were out of everything. Donuts look like they had not been fried in oil hot enough and I expect they are very greasy.

I love coming here! The service and the food is superb ????. My favorite barista is Sai! She always makes my mornings with her friendly smile and great service. I definitely recommend this place for any locals or anyone visiting in the Northwest area!

Service was wonderful, I was given free donuts holes with my order, and the cheese jalape?o and sausage kolache was amazing! You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. 10/10 will be coming back again.

Alwaays love this place. I worked in a donut shop for many years and this is a close second to quality. They have lots of varieties in all things mini ; fritters, cinnamon rolls, even tiny kolaches. Love the jumbo sausage and cheese and the stuffed sausage egg and cheese os delicious. We call it the no name shop because the sign is so tiny. Its right close next to burger king.

You guys shouldn't let kids run your business, I've always come to you guys because of your ham and croissant wraps and star shaped donuts (trivial I know but they make my 5 year old happy). It's a small place, but that's because it's owned and operated by one family. It's infinitely better tasting than Shipley's, which is just a bit further down Anderson Mill, and it's cheaper, too. They e made some pretty serious errors with inline orders but they?re the only place I can find with potato egg and cheese kolaches, and they?re damn good. Just hope they stop replacing vegetarian items with non-vegetarian menu items, pretty serious oversight.

Not a fan, there is no bread on the kolachies and there was a hair on mine. We were sitting in the drive thru for a while and no one was there to take our order until we drove up to the window and then she didn't even get all of our order.

These are fresh and taste great. They even look better than any product that the last two businesses in that location served. The overall presentation is a huge upgrade. Outstanding job rebranding.

The line was so slow. We waited 15 minutes to get to the window. Once at the window the employee barely understood English. The woman helping him kept saying "I dont know how to do that.". The order was wrong (not surprising). We will not be back.

Got two breakfast crescents and one had hair in the egg, which is gross enough, but the second had plastic. I'm not sure how they managed to get plastic in it, but I won't be eating here again, which sucks because they had the best donuts in the area.

I was originally kind of put off by the place, they didn't seem too interested in helping me, and were not very nice when I walked in. They quickly warmed up, and comped me a coffee and a donut after they fulfilled a fairly big order for me.

Great little donut shop. Our favorite are the cinnamon twists. The are big, one is all you need. We do miss the train!

I really dig their simple glazed doughnuts and their kolaches are good. And they don't break the bank like a lot of doughnut places nowadays.
