The best donut shop in the St.Charles county! Every time I bring these to work they are gone instantly! Blueberry and the Chop Suey are the top of my and my co-workers list of favorites! Boulevard St. Peter?s loves your donuts! Thanks Donut King!

Nice donut shop right off main drag. Easy in, easy out. They have the standards but what I liked was that they offered smaller versions of the big donuts in case you just want to nibble or you?re on a restrictive diet like I am. Their eclairs also have real cream and not the pudding style like you get in most donut shops. Coffee was ok.

Very friendly staff, the earlier you get, the better, great choices for every taste.

I'm a local photographer and I like to stop in from time to time when I'm close by or I want to surprise the fam with a morning treat. This is an old school classic donut shop. The donuts are always on point and at a fair price. If they run out of creme or custard they'll make one for you which I appreciate. If you're thinking about a donut stop here instead of the chains you'll be happier with your purchase. Oh and you should grab the maple bacon long john, you can thank me later. #supportlocalbusiness

My visit was delightful! It was just the way I wanted to start my early morning out. Everyone was very nice and they even saw me waiting outside before they were open and welcomed me in 5 minutes early. In addition to the excellent service the doughnuts were still warm! My favorite, along with the rest of St. Charles I?m sure, was the chop suey. The yeast donuts were soft and pillowy and the old fashioned had a thin glazed crunch that gave way to the pleasantly dense but soft inside that old fashioned donu

Busy busy busy shop . My favorite is the apple crumble topping with apple pie filling . Lots yummy choices. Purchased over a dozen .

Our donuts were delicious. Had almost a crispy flake texture to them which you don't really get from other bakeries. Only advice is to get there early! They were out of most donuts when we arrived but we still had a decent variety. Definitely will be back earlier next time.

We were in line to buy donuts when three girls came in from the local. I assume college. They cut in front of all the customers, they were rude, they touched all kinds of donuts without washing your hands, they took some without paying and walked out. Makes me think the people running the place do not know how to run a clean restaurant

Lots of locals neighbors and friends gather for coffee, a donut and morning conversation. Family friendly . It is Very rare to find a family owned heartfelt business that one can go to (like cheers) and "everyone knows your name". Like family. It just makes you wanna go back for more of those quality donuts, coffee and conversation. Be amazed!

Loved our first visit! New owners were great! For a peanut and tree nut allergy family, it's hard finding safe bakeries. This was an added bonus for the trip with a great find while we were visiting STL. You've got fans in Indiana and we'll look forward to making another visit soon!

Great donuts and old school atmosphere. I would really recommend to the owners that when you are on vacation, please post the hours to Google. It sucks driving 20 minutes and then the shop is closed :( it has happened twice this summer both to myself and some out of town family members that we recommended it too

The donuts here are homemade and delicious! There are a variety of donuts to choose from. There is coffee and milk that can be purchased also!

Stopped by here on my way back from court to take donuts to the office. First time here. There wasn't a huge variety but there weren't any left either when I arrived back to the office announcing I stopped at Donut King. Made sure to get the main attorney his favorite - jelly donut. :) Highly recommend these donuts! Professional and friendly staff too.

Highly recommend checking this place out! Stopped by this morning and the donuts were awesome!! The cherry with crumb on top and glazed twist were our favorites.

Me and my family go every other Sunday, and Doughnut King never fails us! They always have a wide variety of doughnuts, and they are always fresh! The customer service is always great. It's always a treat to be able to enjoy their doughnuts.

Excellent donuts, great prices, very friendly and welcoming owner and staff. We are from out of town and came across this gem in our travels and are so glad we did! You gotta try the Dutch Crumb and the Chop Suey, but don't sleep on the simple elegance of the Cinnamon Twist either. Do yourself a favor, skip those chain joints and give this place a try, you will not regret it!

Fresh tasty doughnuts! I thought they were out of what my grandson likes, and they had the ability and smiles to still make him the right frosting doughnut 20 minutes before closing!

This was my second time visiting. The 1st time the donuts were fine. Not fantastic but ok. Today they are not good. It was a little bit after 8:00 am on Sunday. Although they had a lot of donuts ( I ordered one of each), most of them are dry & don't taste fresh. The ones that are fresh don't taste good. About the service: Not good. I had a chocolate long john, part of a vanilla long john, a jelly donut, dutch crumb, glazed and chocolate glazed and boy every single donut was delicious! The Dutch crumb, man that's a tasty donut. The jelly might be the best jelly donut I've ever had! Perfect amount of jelly and the donut was so soft and yummy. Only thing I'd improve is there wasn't enough icing on the long johns. The donut was very good, just needed more icing to reach its full donut potential.

I've never been here before thought I would try it out. Told the guy I wanted a dozen, I was getting 3, 3, 3 when I got to 9 he says that is 10 you only get two more I said no that 9 I get 3 more he only allowed me 11 and charged me for a dozen shoved box to me half open. I paid and turned to leave he starts yelling bye I guess you will pay me next time. With place full of people. He was a jerk. I never turned to acknowledge him. Sorry I went in to get donuts I'm not tipping. I tip at restaurants.

These donuts were delicious! We got a dozen and an apple fritter and everyone was happy at home. I'll be back for the rest of the varieties another time! Service was outstanding with great conversation and warm smiles. Definitely worth a drive to St. Charles!

Alert!!!! Best donuts in town BUT we?ve been there twice and they were closed! Checked website and it said they were open. Drove across town to find they were closed. It was 8:00am! Too bad. I won?t be going back because of this. If you live close it wouldn?t be as bad. Wasted time and gas.

Used to come here under previous owner. Donut is smaller. Chocolate on top filled with creme. And less creme too. Sad. At least all the old coffee clutchers were not there morning I popped in. No parking when they are there.

They made the most amazing flower donut cake for my daughter's 1st birthday and it came out better then I could have imagined! Everyone there treats you like family!

I finally got out here early enough to try and this place is great! The coffee is good, the donuts are amazing (just like I remember donuts being when I was a kid) - both the raised and the cake donuts are exceptional. The curbside delivery was really convenient and the staff was friendly. Great experience, great value.

Today was the first time trying them. Let's just say the middle aged blonde woman behind the counter has a chip on her shoulder. Bad service, Bad Attitude, Good donuts so, you decide. For me, I will not go back and recommend Dunkin Donuts just a couple blocks away. St Charles Location.

Best donuts in the area hands down. No line as it was after breakfast crowd. Would like to see more space to sit and eat. You need get rid of the coffee clutches who take up space.

Went with my partner for the first time last week and loved it! Planning on going back today. We both tried the blueberry donut and we agreed it was the best we had ever had. I also got a powdered jelly which was light, fluffy and perfect. However after I tried my partners world famous chop suey, I wished I had gotten that one. Unbelievably delicious! We got four donuts and two small coffees all for $6 and some change. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Donut King all of my life. I've had others, but these handmade donuts top my donut list. The donuts can be almost crisp on the outside, adding a unique texture not found anywhere else. So delicious! The chocolate iced creme filled and glazed are my favorites. Also, make sure you bring cash, because they are CASH ONLY :D

I made the mistake of bringing Donut King Donuts to work one Saturday. The guys are now calling them Cracky King Donuts because they are as addictive as CRACK!!! I had guys offering me $30 to bring them a DOZEN DUNUTS during Duck Hunting season!!! HANDS DOWN the best I've ever had!

I was held in St Charles city jail for 12 hours. They gave me my phone back but it was dead I wandered into Donut King and they charged my phone up enough so I could get an Uber. And they let me use their address as the pickup point. They didn't have to do any of that. They were just very nice.

Love this place. Come in for breakfast all the time. Great doughnuts and coffee. I highly recommend the french doughnuts when they have them. My Great uncle loves their Dutch crumb, but it goes out quick so get there early for them.

No equal anywhere in Missouri! Get there early and don't worry about cash anymore...they now have credit / debit availability! The glazed donuts have the thick glaze and the Dutch Crumb are amazing. Parking can be a bit hairy (small lot), but don't let that deter you. Sad to see Paul's go this year, but the best donuts in MO have been here at the Donut King!

Donut King is my new favorite doughnut shop! The doughnuts are delicious! I especially enjoy the Dutch Crumb doughnut and the Chop Suey. The staff is friendly and quick, I bought 3 dozen doughnuts to bring to work and it took no time at all. My coworkers all loved the doughnuts as well. I will definitely be going back again to try all of the flavors offered.

Donuts were pretty good. Selection was a bit limited (7:15 am on a Sunday). Staff seemed pretty indifferent, not that they have to throw a party for people coming in, but some bit of polite cuatomer service/greeting might be appreciated :)

The donuts have the tell-tale golden ring around them confirming that they have correctly risen in the fryer. Good variety. Ask about "chop-suey" donut. Its their unique donut. Coffee is blue-collar coffee. Fresh but not fancy.

We really love Donut-King. The only problem with it is that it's so popular that sometimes the doughnuts are mostly sold out by the time we get there. That just gives us incentive to get up earlier, though. These are great doughnuts!

If you are looking for a delicious cinnamon crumb donut, this is the place! The donut is not dusted in cinnamon and sugar, but is dunked in white icing and then generously rolled in those yummy ingredients. This donut comes the closest to the one offered at Winchell's donuts in southern California.

My family and I have been going to Donut King for years. I'm happy to say that the quality has not dropped in the slightest under the new ownership. Looking forward to going back to my favorite donut shop in St. Charles!

Terrible service. They didnt know what Boston creme was. They told me the filled donuts were fine but the custard was what i actually needed. Its a good thing i asked for two before I left. Children taking orderrs not knowing what donuts are.
