It really was just mid, average. I love trying new small donut bakeries but these were nothing special. It?s right next to King Soopers and honestly I could have gotten the exact same tasting donut over there (for cheaper). It?s always nice to support small business but this truly wasn?t worth the extra money to me. Much better alternatives in town.
I really enjoyed coming to Donut Haus this morning! We got an assorted dozen donuts and a dozen donut holes. The variety included cake donuts and regular glazed donuts. Some were chocolate icing, powder coated, and maple glaze. Maple glaze is my favorite. Their cake donuts had a nice crunch on the outside and was full of flavor! Definitely coming back again! Enjoy!
Great variety of donuts, and they taste AMAZING!! Staff is so friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a cute cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend checking it out!
I have always loved the fresh donuts from here. I stopped in early afternoon and picked up a donut. There were plenty in the display case. The lady reached to a shelf behind her and put one in a bag for me. When I go home I was very disappointed. She gave me a stale older donut - very dry! I will no longer get my donuts and treats there, especially for the cost.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for Sunday breakfast today to try them! Overall they were pretty good but not like blow your mind pastries. I had the apple fritter and maple pretzel donuts. My boyfriend had a cinnamon roll and some other glazed donut with berry frosting on top. They were good and we felt okay about the price as well. Might be our go to spot if we can't find something better in the area.
If you want delicious donuts without the greasy aftertaste, Donut Haus is the way to go. I also appreciate supporting a local business and I love the variety they have including seasonal and rotating specialty donuts.
We were going to see a friend that is passing away. All she wanted was a chocolate frosted cake donut. Stopped at the Donut Haus and they were out of chocolate frosted cake. I told them the situation, and they went out of their way to heat more chocolate frosting and make them for me. They were so kind & helpful.
We live in Garden City, Colorado and I was telling my Sister how good your turtles were, so we drove our 20 minute drive to get one. It was so old we couldn't eat it. I was very disappointed! I have never gotten a old donut from you.. I guess I won't be back.
Delicious fresh donuts! Can't go wrong here. Apple fritter was voluminous, nice bits of fresh apple, and cooked to a perfect golden brown with a fluffy inside. This is what an Apple fritter should be (hint intended for a different donut shop not too far away). Lemon twist is a perfect balance of soft chewy dough with lemon filling and drizzle. Blueberry and strawberry both had perfect amount of filling. Blueberry had a wonderful icing on top to boot. Plain donut had perfect golden brown crispy exterior
Donut Haus has become a sweet cornerstone of the community over the last decade, prioritizing quality and charm in equal measure. Their donuts, freshly made each morning, offer a delightful start to the day, with flavors that never disappoint. The pricing is as reasonable as the staff is friendly, creating an environment that feels both welcoming and homey. It's not just about the delicious treats; the addition of a mini library adds a unique touch, inviting patrons to linger a bit longer with their coffee.
Great donuts and great customer service. I've been going here for years, and they never disappoint.
As I write this review, I am devouring my second donut. I just couldn?t wait to chime in on my opinion of this tasty bakery and donut shop. This was our first time at Donut Haus and WOW. We have tried several donut shops in 28 states since October of last year and this place has reached our number 2 spot out of the numerous ones we have tried. The number one shop is located in Louisiana and the only reason Donut Haus didn?t make our number one spot was due to the temperature of the donut. We tried glazed, c
First time there. Everyone in the building, workers and customers were some of the nicest folks in town. Maybe they were just happy to be there, for good reason. Best doughnuts in loveland easy, huge selection, enormous items, well worth going out of your way for.
Love their donuts!! I've only had a few things but the special mango bismark was amazing! And their old fashioned donuts are the best!! I can't wait to try their cinnamon rolls!! The breakfast burritos are in a fridge next to the donuts & are great if you're like me & forgot to eat something other than donuts & can heat them up at work.
I stopped in to pick up a dozen and was impressed with the selection. Everything was delicious and they clearly have a lot of fun coming up with unique flavors on top of everyone?s favorite classics. I?ve stopped in a few times now and this will always be my spot for donuts. Staff are also very friendly and helpful!
Stale donuts! Faithful old employees seem to be absent. No flavored coffee! New young staff, no people skills! Customers #?s are lower.
Their doughnuts and cinnamon rolls will haunt your dreams they are so delicious. Also so affordable and fresh you wouldn?t believe. Their coffee is cheap and well worth as well. Plus their whole staff is so kind! My only pregnancy craving has been their turtles so good it?s like heaven.
It's my 1st time visiting to kill time for a fingerprint appointment at office Depot. I'm not a sweet tooth person & the employee helped me to find what I like. I usually order raspberry jam donuts, but since I dislike the glaze, im opting for the raspberry "mixed" donut (idk the actual name). I also got plains, a PB button (unfortunately the PB is too sweet) & a chocolate as a freebie (when I reconfirm if I'm a 1st timer, I could have a freebie). To my surprise, the freebie steals my heart, it's not too sw
Really want to love this place and the donuts are great. Probably the best in the area but the counter staff are a little off putting. They don't label anything in the case so you're constantly asking what the flavors are and they get a bit annoyed. Wish you could just order online & just run in and grab it. It says on their website they have door dash but it's not available. And there is always a lot of older men (customers)in there that stare at you the entire time. We enjoy the donuts themselves but talk
Updated Review 2025: Donut Haus used to be the best. The apple fritter was the absolute best anywhere. They have since changed the dough recipe or something. You walk in around noon on a Saturday (because that is sometimes when musicians who played on a Friday night actually make it outside) and there would be so few donuts. I think the Donut Haus is afraid to write off a few donuts or take them to the shelter and donate them, or something. This is based on 4 recent visits and the one time I was able to get
Perfect glazed donuts and killer special flavors like ?Peanut Butter Dream?. Whoa. So good!
Best donuts in Northern Colorado; no local chain come close to competing with Donut Haus quality. LOVE THIS PLACE !! The only thing I wish would be longer opening hours and more locations. Wonderful staff and cozy, community environment. I love seeing the youngest to the oldest of Loveland all chit-chatting and hanging about, stuffing their faces with sweet treats. They also sell burritos, savory donuts, sausage wraps, delicious homemade cinnamon bread, & fruit danishes.
These donuts are completely delicious. Soft and yeasty, not too sweet and priced great. They have so many yummy inventions, you can?t really go wrong. And they know their audience so if you come in at noon on a Sunday, there will most likely still be a fantastic selection. Drive out of your way for these donuts! We can?t wait to be back!
Service was great, donut selection was lacking variety and donuts themselves were stale and very small given the price.
We stopped here before going up to Estes.. They had a power failure so didn't get to making things until late in the day. What we did get to try was good and I'm sure from what I've heard the selection is much greater on as normal day.
The donuts were amazing and the staff was really nice!
My son wanted a cupcake dinosaur cake for his 4th Birthday. I showed them a picture and they definitely delivered what we wanted. Such a great bakery!
I asked for 1 dozen donut holes(they don't list the price anywhere) they gave me a bag with probably 3 dozen for 4.50. I am not complaining about the price for the amount given. Just that it comes as a shock to people who are working with a budget. Edit: Again I am not complaining about the amount for the price paid. Just that the price should be advertised somewhere. Response to reply from company.
I've lived in Loveland for 35 years and grew up going to the Estes Park location with my family as often as we could. I've lived 2 blocks from the Loveland location for 5 years and have enjoyed sharing my childhood experiences with my own small kids now. I say all of this because it makes me really sad to write this review. Today my wife had a very upsetting experience in the Loveland store with my kids and my her grandmother. My youngest son is THREE years old and he kicked the lower front part of the main
Wonderful donuts, but the deliveries by Kalani are what make this place the best. He is prompt, efficient, and always gives us a laugh, even in the middle of the night.
Honestly the best blueberry cake I've ever had all of your donuts are simply Amazing my coworkers are in love i spoil them once a week with a dozen best they v ever had almost all gone love you guys
Great customer service, except when I got home and opened up the box to find they only put 11 donuts in the box, instead of the dozen I ordered. Disappointed to get charged for something I didn?t get fully.
We no longer go to Kristy cream doughnuts, this place is the best doughnuts ever , they are always fresh and warm and so delicious and not oily we come here weekly
I went to this place as one of my stops on my Denver trip. Bridget helped me, and was not only quick and detailed in her answers to my questions regarding price, but she told me about each donut and reminded me of the price if I made a selection that was going to cost more. The entire staff were bright and colorful, not to mention friendly and extremely helpful! To top it off, the donuts were delicious. 8/8 would go again. Highly recommend!
Nice selection of donuts always seem fresh. Big Apple fritters, raspberry twist, cinnamon swirl yum. Well priced. Friendly staff.
Well, the average reviews on here aren?t wrong. Pro?s: while the donuts are in no way gourmet, they are pretty tasty and fresh. CONS: Went in for the first time this morning. After reading the reviews we knew to likely expect poor customer service. While no one was overtly rude to us, I can definitely say that the overall attitude of the workers is very poor and act a bit like you are annoying them by simply being there or asking any questions. There were two employees that helped us. One you could tell wa
This is a place where they do donuts, and it's clear they are joyful about donuts. I like a bit more icing on my cake donuts, but must acknowledge that the balance of icing and delicious pumpkin cake was perfect. Worth the drive from Longmont.
My second time here. I love their donuts, not too sweet, and they have red velvet donuts yayyyyy
Not only are the donuts the best in town(s), the customer service is top notch. We order several dozen for company events and everyone loves them. Debra is super pleasant to communicate with and very understanding. Hands down, all of the stars!
Price of a glazed donut has gone from $1.33 to $1.89 in the span of a few months (42% increase). At some point it isn't inflation and is pure greed for these businesses.
Missed it from when I lived in Estes...still good!
The maple glazed cake donuts are scrumptious. Yummy! I would?ve given a better review if more attention had been taken with aesthetics and table cleanliness. I got the impression that they were just short staffed. So, I will definitely go back but just for takeout.
My apple fritter was over baked (dry dry dry) and did not contain a SINGLE piece of apple.... my husband enjoyed his donuts
Their donuts are great, some of the best around. I want to give a shout out to their bakery though. I have ordered cupcakes for 2 birthday parties now and both times they were fantastic and the talk of the party. Hands down the best cupcakes I have ever had including specialty cupcake shops in the area. They also don't seem to need as much notice to make them as other places. Both orders were called in 2 days in advance and they had no problem accommodating.
I visited their food truck located at Jax on Hwy 34 in Loveland. I was really pleasantly surprised! I wasn't expecting much due to the presentation - they looked like any old doughnuts. But no! The doughnuts were clearly fresh. The dough was light, fluffy, and soft. I got two: a custard eclair that was soft and just right, and a turtle - which was a delicious combo of crispy exterior and fluffy interior. I'm knocking one star off my review because the wasps crawling over the doughnuts in the case gave me th
Freshly made donuts. A little pricey, but definitely delicious.
The staff is always so friendly. The donuts are big, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The maple frosted anything is our favorite. THe cakes are all moist and tasty. When another donut shop moved into town we went there... no comparison. Kind staff with a fantastic product beats 'em every time. My only complaint is that the blueberry isn't made every day :)
9.42 for 2 cream filled, and 2 old fashioned. Never again. Especially considering king soopers has .89 cent cream filled and regular donuts.
Came a little late, maybe 10:45, and there were still people consistently coming in. It looked like they had sold most of their doughnuts by then. We tried a classic glazed, a sticky byn, a sorta cinnamon roll, and a raspberry fritter. I LOVE apple fritters, so I thought the raspberry was interesting. Not too fruity and tasted pretty good. The classic glazed was classic. I hope to get in earlier and try some different doughnuts.
Best Donuts you?ll find anywhere!!! Nobody else holds a candle to them! Always soft and moist with the perfect amount of frosting, not too much. Worth the trip to find them!
It was our first time here, so I figure a simple breakdown is the best. Best thing: the donuts themselves. Deliciously well done pastries packed full of sweet goodness. Worst: customer service. We didn't get the donuts we ordered. Every single employee looked like an anxious mess. We were rushed through the process of ordering and barely explained the pricing. We won't be back. The atmosphere was chaotic and disorganized. I feel completely mislead by the reviews.
Donuts are great, service was not. My daughter and I walked in on a slow morning on our first visit. We had zero customers behind us until we began our order at the counter. The girl helping me seemed to be off in la la land and acted as though my brief browsing was an inconvenience for her. Each time I would point to a donut and ask for one she would turn around and grab one from the back, and by the third donut, she just assumed I was done and set my bag next to the register. I then had to explain th
The best donuts in town. They treat you like family
Most of their baked goods are tasty. My daughter LOVES the donut holes. The fancy cinnamon rolls and fritters are really good. We don't recommend the pecan roll--the roll has nothing going on but dough (it's not the pecan/caramel-topped cinnamon roll that most places call a pecan roll or sticky bun). Staff are friendly, the place is clean and homey. They even have a microwave to warm up your treat.
Tasty, fluffy raised donuts. Always fresh without any hardness or staleness that so many other local shops have. Good prices too!
The gentleman behind the counter is always happy and friendly! Didn?t notice I got an extra donut for free untill I got home will definitely be back with a tip for the guy!
From donuts to bagels to cinnamon bread, everything I have tried is delicious! The super friendly employee Alexia is always has the best recommendations and goes the extra mile to make sure I leave smiling. She deserves a raise and this shop deserves more praise :) ??
Awesome donuts. I had both an apple and blueberry fritter, a gourmet cinnamon roll, and an old fashioned. They were all great. Plan to take a bunch home, but be warned, they are huge! Oh, and the staff is very friendly, and Jo told us to come back for birthdays for the kids for a special treat!
Awesome food and service there are so many options to choose from and they even let you do massive orders and they don't even complain. The atmosphere is amazing and it's just a comfortable spot the only downside is it's hours but they're so great I can't even complain.
I have been a long time customer at the Donut Haus but and received a mix of either great service or horrible service. Today, was post worthy. My 5 year old son had seen their giant customizable donut the last few times we went in and we decided it would be an awesome birthday surprise for him. A few days back we checked on its availability and were told you must order the day before and they would have it done. Tomorrow is my sons birthday and when we went to order they said it is no longer made. We wanted
Really like this locally owned business. The Apple fritters, raspberry fritters, and cinnamon rolls are really good. The prices are so much better than all the gourmet doughnut shops. This is your no frills old school shop. Great product at a great price. I wish Fort Collins had one.
Best donuts in Colorado always friendly service Great variety
I lived in Fort Collins since before Donut Haus arrived in Loveland, but never visited. I did today and kinda fell in love with it. The best Apple Fritter ever and super nice staff! They were very busy and there was a little wait, but everyone was so friendly. If you?re close, don?t miss this place!
Poor customer service. Asked for three donuts, was sold four, which I didn't realize until my card was charged. Was reluctantly offered a refund but wasn't going to wait for my bank to refund said amount. Called to complain and met with same dismissive attitude from the "manager". Told her I wouldn't be coming back and that I'd rather drive 30 minutes to the Daylight Donuts of Dacono. Their donuts are better tasting, have more variety and the staff is friendly.
Donut Haus is the only donut shop in Loveland where you can buy fresh baked donuts. Dunkin' and????? Do NOT make their own donuts. At the Donut Haus, they are so soft, sweet, and decadent...they're downright addicting. So many varieties, and the prices are great considering the quality. I hope you never leave us, Donut Haus!!
Best donuts ever! Seriously, these ladies make the best donuts! Been going here for years and never had anything that wasn't excellent. Their other baked goods are also very good.
Best donuts in the world!!! Every birthday in the family we get donut haus donuts and every time someone comes to town too. When they moved to Loveland it was the greatest thing! I would grab a couple boxes when I had a free morning block from school.
I've been hiding something, or at least I haven't admitted it to myself. You may already know. You might have even seen me indulging my darker side, for it happens often. Even now as I resist it, my body betrays me. My salivary glands leap into action, propelling me forward like a zombie with no brain but a very active appetite. I cannot stop. Must. Eat. Donuts. Round and round I go. Back to Donut Haus, again and again. I cannot resist their perfectly executed Raised Glazed, with sublime, idyllic, crunchy
We've been to Donut Haus many times during trips to visit our family in Loveland. Cupcakes for a birthday, donuts for another, and special donut treats always! You're the best 01/29/22
Donut Haus has the most sublime donuts you will ever find. They are pillowy and perfectly chewy. The toppings are tasty homemade and not artificial in the slightest. Buy a dozen, you won't regret it . . . until you eat all of them in one sitting. So why the four star review? The coffee is not good. If this ever changes, it's an easy 5 stars.
Just delicious, and very kind to my kid
Love this place. Staff has always been friendly. Get there early as they do sell out!
Yummy donuts. Service not that great, felt rushed and that i was inconveniencing staff. No menu/prices listed. Only milk as a creamer.
If you like good donuts and baked goods that are higher quality than the grocery stores you should already be a regular. If not, grab a friend and get a coffee or a milk and have a donut. It will not disappoint.
The BEST donuts in Town! I can?t speak highly enough about their donuts and the freshness of them. Their homemade frostings and glaze that melts in your mouth can make your tastebuds do a dance. This place is always busy! Nothing compares to any other donuts that I have tried. Hands down the best! Family owned too!
Craving a cinnamon roll while I was in the town of Loveland, I desperately searched for one. I was pleased to see a bakery on my maps, and decided to try this place out. It was exactly the kind of atmosphere I want and expect from a place that calls itself a bakery: Cozy atmosphere with lots of small, comfortable tables, coffee readily available and a general feeling of being at-home. Fresh-baked cinnamon or pumpernickel bread was available on the shelves as soon as I walked in, alongside delicious-looki
I went in there to ask if they use peanut oil and she couldn?t give me an answer at all and was all weird about it. Saying something about it?s not peanut oil but there?s also peanuts in the oil. Totally not understandable and didn?t offer any other options. Pretty unfriendly from that side so not a good place for people with allergies because they have no idea what they are using. My husband tried the donuts and really liked them. I was pretty sad I didn?t get to try because the donuts definitely looked ve
I absolutely LOVE the Donut Haus! I live in Fort Collins, but I'll make the drive sometimes just to go to the Donut Haus. Their donuts just have the perfect mix of soft center with a thin crispiness on the outside. The flavor is also fantastic. I saw today that at the Lake Street Market by CSU they said their donuts were from the Donut Haus, if that's you guys I'm so excited!
Came for the scrumptious donuts. Left with a tray of legendary homemade brownies and just a little guilt. This place isn't just for epic donuts my fellow Lovelandians!! Clean, welcoming atmosphere; friendly staff and an incredible selection of sweet delights most certain to send anyone in search of insulin.
We.love thos donuts store and travel a ways just to go here. The flavor is amazing. They have twist in so many flavors. This includes cinnamon, raspberry and blueberry. I love the raspberry twist and thier turtles. Just Delicous!
Would be a five star, but there is a lady in here that is always so rude and pushy. Hey lady! I am still looking! Also, you didn't tell me X was that flavor donut. Calm down, you need a chill pill please. Edit: I am updating the review as I believe that things are better, and the donuts are still great! I love when they have the krullers, yum!
Excellent donuts. Fresh all the time. Their lemon donuts are out of this world. They glaze the donut with some green frosting and fill the hole with a dollop of creamed butter lemon filling. UNFORTUNATELY HAVE ONLY TASTED THEM ONCE and for whatever reason they never have them when I go there. WHY?
Donut Haus should be your donut place of choice. Best one between Loveland and FoCo in my opinion because it hits a soft, sweet, flaky, and yet freshness that often beats other donut places (I know I know, I like donuts). It?s not a super heavy dense donut with apple pie, it?s the donut you grab with your beverage of choice to start a most excellent day. I think I?m grabbing donut haus tomorrow morning now.
Best donuts around and friendly staff. We love to get them in Loveland and Estes and especially love surprising family and friends with these fresh goodies when they come to town.
This place is the best! Great cakes and great donuts! So glad to be able to get cakes that are well done, look great, & even tastes good! I?ve had cakes done at other places but they?re only good for looks here you get all the above ! I love it! Will always be my first option!
We had a few issues with this place. We came in and bought a dozen donuts. Per the sign it was supposed to be $10.50 we left paying over $25. Got nothing but a dozen round donuts. The cashier was rude and didnt want to be there. There was only one register open so that backed up the line of people. While most of the donuts were good the prices and service by the cashier absolutely doomed it for us. Never again will we go there or send anything here for that matter.
Basic but nice selection of donuts. The cake donuts are a heavier dough than I am used too. Not 5 stars because the lady at the register was rude to me and I had the distinct impression that the lady who helped me is subjected to a very poor attitude of the lady working the register and this is only ever allowed if management ignores it.
Best donuts in town. Good coffee. Lots of seating makes it a great place to meet friends! Reasonable pricing. Clean and bright. Get there early for best selection, their donuts and pastries go fast!
