First time here and our experience was just okay. Service - okay, felt very transactional. No greeting or small talk. Once we were done paying, the woman started doing something else and we awkwardly stood there before realizing our card checked out and we were good to go. Donuts - also okay. We got there close to 10 and they were out of many staples. Only 1 sugar left and 1 sprinkled donut (excluding shapes and cake donut). Donuts taste fine but they are super small. One donut is smaller than my palm. The lemon filled had less than a tablespoon of filling.
Lots of variety including a non-doughnut surprise! Onigiri! My husband surprised me with one this morning and I am so happy. I have been hoping for a localmplace to sell onigiri for years. The blueberry doughnut he got me was also delicious and the kids loved their cute Spider-Man designed doughnuts. Lots of tasty treats for four people at a good price.

First time here and great overall experience. The woman behind the counter was kind and friendly. I love that they have savory items in addition to donuts. The kolaches were delicious and the spinach feta bistro was amazing. Donuts and donut holes were also very tasty. Looking forward to returning!

Been going here religiously since i moved here in 2021. Jay and Ted are wonderful and their radiant smiles make you feel! I did try another donut shop one Tuesday when they were closed and the atmosphere was not as warming in regards it didn't feel like home. ***** Just saw a reply from the owners of this place and it made me miss these Texas donuts even more! Since moving back home to Kansas City, no donut shop as compared to Donut Garden!
Never understood the good reviews for this place. Donuts have always been stale but good donut store was closed. They have actually gotten worse. The glaze they are using is gross, I threw my overpriced glaze and cinnamon roll in the trash.
Donuts are decent but too expensive. Two dozen donuts and 20 small kolaches set me back over $60! Are you kidding me! I will go across to street from now on. Its fried bread nothing out of the ordinary. The donuts weren't even the fancy kind. The ladies were very nice, the donuts were alright. But not for the price of a 4 star dinner.
Donuts to me are almost all the same so I've gone into various donut places. Pricing is always what I look for. Some will say that some donuts are better than others and although they may be right, it's all a matter of personal preference. The Korean couple that owns this place are very nice people. I grew up on Louisiana. I know southern maid. There is no way this place is using the proprietary SM dough. The taste is distinct! If you have ever had the original you can tell the difference. Please please please use the actual SM blend and not just the name! Very disappointing. Posing is misleading.
Love this place... the best donuts around. Just enough sweetness to their donuts, not overly sweet. They have a great selection as well.

Awesome "Cronuts"!!!! Donuts made from croissant dough. To die for. They are very friendly, always tossing in free holes for our little one. Good selection of Kolaches, kiddy donuts and, did I mention Cronuts???!!!
