Last day of our vacation, and wanted a treat for breakfast. I found this donut shop on Google Maps and figured I'd give it a try. This was truly a nice treat with a big tempting selection of donuts. Not your typical donuts, a bit bigger than what I was expecting, but definitely fresh and tasty. Took care of breakfast and lunch.

Super friendly and wonderful people work here. I came to pick up an order and the lovely ladies who work there helped me as soon as I entered. The donuts are HUGE. Like, I've been to many donuts shops before and I've never seen donuts as big as theirs. The Labubu donut I got is rather sweet, but I'm a sugar goblin so I had no problems.

Very good donut establishment. I liked the different flavors. I am a sucker for carrot cake so I got that in cupcake form. I would have liked to try about half of their offerings unfortunately we had limited time and appetites. Everything we had was good.

We always saw this place and wanted to try it. There's been many times that they had very little Donuts at the time we stopped by. This time at 2:00 p.m. they still had a wide selection of donuts. Their glazed donut ended up being pretty dry and for whatever reason only half glazed.

Found this place thanks to the Underground Donut Tour, it was one of our 4 stops that morning. The place is adorable, lots of thought went into their build-out. It was sad that French toast Donuts are only for weekends, Fri - Sun and they ran out of strawberry shortcake donuts. Thankfully enough, they have a bunch of other thrilling choices such as orange blueberry scone +. Donuts here are huge. They give you donuts in a box. Even three of donuts make the box almost full. The donuts at the Donut Bar were large, fresh, and delicious! I love donuts, and Big Poppa Tart was the craziest, most tasty donut I?ve ever tried. I got the strawberry one, and I can only describe it as like a party in my mouth. A must try! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The French toast/ Cr?me Br?l?e donut was absolutely amazing!! The donuts weren?t hot, but was still freshly baked that morning. I recommend coming close to opening. I stopped in while in the city for a day. If you like very large, super-sugary donuts in the style of VooDoo Donuts, this is your place. I?m more of a dough connoisseur. Looked gimmicky at first glance. Donuts looked more pretty so wasn't sure the taste was going to be there. I have very high standards for doughnuts and these checked every box. Sometimes bakeries like this are all just for the instagram aesthetic and the food tastes like it was 3D printed? this was not the case at donut bar!! Near Union Street, this cute donut shop is hidden. The size of the donuts goes perfectly with a cup of coffee which I ordered the Hawaiian Hazelnut.

This is a fantastic donut shop in an easy to walk to downtown location. It is very clean inside as well as the outside seating area. Dogs were welcomed and they gave out dog cookies. :). This donut shop was truly the best! They had a lot of delicious choices, and my favorite was the vanilla filling. They have all sorts of barkery and sweet treats including different flavors. My favorite was the red velvet and birthday cake flavor. They also had complementary coffee to pair with the sweet donuts that was sold! They had a spacious upstairs seating too! Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff but 3/4 donuts I and my boyfriend tried were very underwhelming. The raspberry Cheesecake had a tiny drop of jam inside. The lemon pistachio and maple topped ones both had no filling and were dense and cake like (bland/dry). BUT the candied bacon topping is very delicious! The flavor of the donut dough here is a cut above. The Soft, Pillowy texture and strong yeasty taste, made these donuts jump to the front of my favorites. First time at the Donut Bar. This location was located at the bottom of an office building. They had plenty of seating inside and outside for customers. When you walk in you are greeted with the smell of fresh donuts and some happy faces. One of the ladies asked if this was our first time and gave us a rundown of the donuts. My wife had been looking forward to this for a couple weeks and finally found time to go today?but Donut Bar San Diego was a huge letdown. Every donut we got was dry, stale, and overcooked?like they were made days ago. On top of that, my wife got really sick afterward, which just made the experience even worse. They are huge but are made perfectly! I was not that impressed with the scone and it was a bit under baked but I am sure that was only because of the amount of fruit packed into them, which can make baking a bit tricky. This is a gourmet donuts shop and fun to visit. Yelp Elite event this week brought us to the shop. We also took our out of town guests and they were delighted for the stop. Huge and moist donuts. These are some of the better donuts I have had. The pap tart donut had an entire pop tart inside. The homer and the cake batter donuts were kind of simple yeast donuts but we're packed with huge flavor. All 3 donuts were excellent and well worth the money. We will be back next time we are in the San Diego area.
