They are amazing. Filled donuts are really Filled up. Apple fritter n bear claws are a big treat. I recommend this place. It's on common before walk ons. Sign says Dino's so not sure of correct name.

I went through the drive thru on December 20, 2023 at 4:45am. A pleasant Asian employee smiled and helped me. I asked for a half a dozen hot glazed donuts and an egg and cheese croissant. I received cold donuts in a shirt box and the employee started to hand me the croissant but took it back and heated it. I don't understand why donuts that early are cold. It's nothing more than listening to your customers.
My very favorite doughnut spot! The prices are great, their honeydew smoothie is the most amazing thing you will ever try & their maple bacon doughnuts are the bomb! They always throw you a little something extra in the bag. They are cheerful, helpful, quick & customer service is out of this world 100% recommend! Did I mention their breakfast croissants and kolaches? Omgeee yummmmm

I tried them Monday morning on my way to clinical in the morning at 6 am, and I have been back every morning since! The sausage and cheese kolaches are amazing, and they warm them up for you so they will be hot when you get it. The donuts and donut holes MELT in your mouth and are so light and fluffy! They have my favorite coffee creamer, my boyfriends favorite monster, and they are so friendly and fast! 10/10
The Boudin Kolaches are Awesome! I had the mild, the Boudin stuffing is really tasty with just enough seasoning, and the breading is soft and buttery. The donuts and donuts holes are yummy also.
Recently tried this place when in Lake Charles after Hurricane Laura. The glazed and chocolate covered donuts were delicious! The service was polite and fast. They had lots of kolaches and other donuts but we were in a hurry. Will have to try more next time I visit!
My taco was stuck to the parchment paper. When i finally got it unstuck, all the meat fell out. I was meatless. Well, almost. The kolaches and kolache with bacon was fire
American Donut is a cozy little donut shop that contrasts with the strip mall setting that surrounds it. Unfortunately it isn't in a walkable location on the side of a highway, but the donuts are great and the staff is very friendly.
