Really sweet family business. Always regulars in there when we go. It?s such a homey and calm environment. And the donuts are GREAT.
I have had my fair share of donuts. I drove 20 minutes to try the donuts based on a friends recommendation. The cream filling was overly sweet and had a gritty sugar consistency. I will stick with places closer to me. Not good, not awful buy not worth the drive.
Love Don?s donut?s ??! They taste amazing and are not dry at all! They are well balanced and have the best varieties! I recommend going the earliest before they run out of donuts! I usually buy my donuts at 5am fresh and warm ??! Amazing costumer?s service.
It's cool going into a place like Don's... I love the low countertop area where you can enjoy your donut with a coffee. I'm giving all My ratings on potential... The building is classic, the employees are very friendly and helpful ??... But my dog ate the donuts when I stopped at the gas station. I've got to go back to finish my review for real.

Stopped at Don's donuts at 5:00 a.m.this morning ,waited in the parking lot till 5:10 and not a soul in the building or parking lot. Internet says opens at 5. Very disappointing considering I stopped there to get my donuts to take into work. However, I left and on my way back by at 5:14 they finally opened. Again, very disappointing considering I'm on my way to work, I always try to stick to small local businesses but this was frustrating.
Love this place for their great selection of donuts. We especially love the lemon paczki when they make them. Try the cream filled straight. They are filled to the brim.
Although Don's Donuts no longer serves food, the donuts are delicious! The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is so friendly! Theres a wide variety of donuts to choose from and they're very reasonably priced! If you have a craving for a donut and a nice cup of coffee, stop by and give them a try!!

Best donuts around! You will find all your old time favorite donuts here and they sometimes add some new fancy donuts to spice things up but they stay true to there original donuts recipe. I remember my Dad bringing these home 40 plus years ago and how good they were then, and they still are as good today and taste the same as back then. The owner and staff are very friendly and great people.

I love the donuts at this donut shop! They're delicious and big in size. It only took 1 trip for my kids to know they prefer the donuts from here than anywhere else. It is popular so most of the time there is a wait but it's so worth it!
Just visited. Super friendly lady behind the counter. She quickly boxed up my order and wished me a Happy 4th of July. And! They had white cream filled straights that my wife can't seem to find anywhere. Will definitely be back!

My step father introduced me to this place about 40 years ago and whenever I'm on the east side I'll find a reason to stop and get a dozen. Since I'm now a special education teacher, I treat my students to the best donuts in Toledo. They're always fresh, the fillings are generous, and there's always a good selection unless you try to go in the afternoon when they're all bought up. Do yourself a favor and stop in to try at least one. After that you'll be finding a reason to go to the east side to get a dozen
I grew up going to Don's with my father. Some of my fondest memories. Their donuts are made fresh daily so you need to get their early. They sell out fast! Their persian cinnamon rolls are by far the best. One of the few remaining old fashioned diners left. I just wish they stayed open later. (Close at like 3 pm)
Found this place and stopped on our way home from Detroit. Some of the best donuts I have had. The people working there are extremely friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend.
Had to replace my daughters donut I ate when she was sick and didn?t want it? woke up the next morning asking for her donut? oops! Went and got a dozen donuts dropped some off to my family and took the rest to a nursing home I was visiting, all of the residents seemed to like them all very much,
The sign outside says "World Best Coffee" and they do have really good java but the atmosphere and people make this establish standout amongst pastry choices. I highly recommend the strawberry filled jelly donuts as they taste like fresh picked berries w/ tasty icing. If you love local donut shops, this is your place in Toledo.
While driving home from DTW, I Googled "Donut Shops". Due to the awesomeness of Google, Don's was listed as the shortest deviation from my route. The parking lot was pert near full at 7am - a good sign in my opinion. A group of older gents filled the cafeteria looking dining area. I was pleased with the variety & cost - $8 and some change for a dozen. The cinnamon rolls were huge. They had my favorite, cherry glazed, which are difficult to find. The lady who waited on me went above and beyond to make it an excellent visit. She even gave me her card and told me the hours of operation and that they would gladly put Donuts to his side if they've knew I would come in very delicious and not bad price either
Very disappointed doughnuts Very bad . Went at 6:00am thinking they would be fresh I was so wrong. They up there prices to 14.00 . A dozen Will never go back. bakery I would give them a zero. The only thing that was nice was the clerk at the counter.

Seriously I was so excited to try this place as I've always heard it's been a staple of the local community. I was beyond disappointed first off I had the bubble tea, terrible! Then I purchased 3 different types of Donuts and they were all hard and one had mold on it!!! Never again!!! Very disappointed
