I tried Dochi for the first time today and absolutely loved them! I can't wait to go back! Dochi is a lovely combination of mochinut and traditional American donuts. The flavor is absolutely amazing. It is a moist flavor on the inside like a mochinut and a little bit of a crunchy flavor on the outside like a traditional American donut. They have a rotating flavor menu. Today, I tried the cookie butter and churro flavors and both were absolutely delicious! The store is inside of Uwajimaya and it is very ni
Incredible customer service, they gave us a free donut. The taste was amazing. Highly recommend. I would have taken a picture if I didn?t eat the donuts so quickly
A mochi donut place in the middle of the Uwajimaya food court. I went around 3:30 pm so sadly the donut that I got was stale. :( Still semi-chewy and the flavor was good. The taro pebbles flavor is a fun, sugary, fruity choice. Just disappointingly stale, like they'd been sitting out all day. I've had mochi donuts the next day from other places and they didn't even taste as stale. Quick service, fairly loud and busy food court. Next to a bunch of other restaurants, the manga store, and the grocery store.
Wanna try a different type of doughnut ? It?s dochi ??. Nice crispy and sweet ful taste which you going to love it. And Vietnamese ca phe(coffee). Also restrooms here only for patrons. But do ask them for code or also you can check code on your receipt which is kind of cool.
If you're looking for a visually appealing and fun experience, this donut shop is worth a visit. Their creative and colorful donuts will catch your eye, but unfortunately, the taste doesn't quite match up to the hype. While the flavors are decent, they're not particularly memorable or exciting.
Very delicious mochi doughnuts!! A little more dense than Mister Donut in Japan, but that's not a bad thing. I has the ube coconut! We ended up coming back to get some more for our friends in Vancouver! Hopefully I can come back again soon! Thanks!!
My friends surprised me with a box of donuts. Omg, they were delicious!! The best I have ever eaten!! Delicious flavors!!!!
Wow!!! I?ve seen these donuts online and never thought I would get to try them, was so delighted to find them at Uwajimaya. I love these because their texture is so chewy and moist. They are also not insanely over the top sweet. They were out of the taro flavor when I got there so I?ll have to come back, but all of the other flavors taste amazing!! My favorite is the strawberry pocky one.
Good mochi donuts and unique flavors! A must try if you like mochi and fun flavors of donuts.
They have good mochi donuts. I love the chewy texture. They have a set of core flavors but rotate out a few regularly. Slight discounts to buy half or full dozens. They can have long lines especially on weekends. So be prepared at times to wait.
This is located inside Seattle Uwajimaya?s food court. There was a short line on Sunday at 5pm. I was hoping to try all flavors but ube glazed and pumpkin spice were sold out. This doughnut is lighter and airier than regular doughnut. It has a little chewy texture but I was expecting small piece of Mochi inside each doughnut ball hahaha... worth a try :) ps I just tried microwaved it for 5-10 seconds and it got more Mochi texture ?? after eating some more I think it tasted like soft bread with little ch
Stumbled across this little food court kiosk next to the Kinokuniya and couldn?t resist the fantastic flavours even though I was super full... and the donut was perfectly chewy and flavorful and had so much mochi goodness! Wish I lived closer so I could try all their seasonal flavours too!
I purchased two boxes of Hawaiian butter mochi today by Dochi company and they were dry and looked like deflated muffins. I was very disappointed cause I bought them a few weeks ago and they were delicious . They also stopped making the ube mochi balls. Not sure what is going on, but they are losing business by doing this. The hawaiian butter mochi today was awful.
Cute shop with unique donuts. The shapes and colors are fun and the donuts pretty tasty. The flavors weren't too strong or overly sweet like some donut places can get. They are a bit pricey, but worth the try of you want the experience.
Dochi sells lovely mochi donuts that are delicious and fairly priced. They often release creative spin-offs of their classic flavors for holidays and special occasions (e.g. "Ube bae" and "Matcha match" for Valentines Day). The donuts have a light and chewy "mochi" consistency and are not overly sweet. They are perfect for breaking apart to share. The half dozen and full dozen boxes make great treats to share at events. Service is always efficient; it is not as busy here compared to the Renton location. It
Yay my new favorite donut place. I love the unique flavors they have. Too bad they ran out of three flavors at 4:45 pm on a Sunday. Anyways I would come back and my favorites were the matcha and the strawberry. Hopefully they don?t run out in the future. Lines were long and took 15 minutes to receive the donuts. Good thing there is someone to control the lines.
tldr: Mochi donuts that provide novelty, but can be lackluster in flavor and crispiness. I had the Ube Glaze, Matcha Oreo, Strawberry Animal Cracker, and Taro Fruity Pebble Flavors. The Donuts were chewy but lacked a balancing crispiness. Flavors are nice in concept, but lackluster in taste, leaving more to be desired. This was my first time having japanese "mochi donuts" and was a nice novelty, but I don't think these were too special. Yes there's hype behind these and they love to capitalize on it. Know
When being able to eat fresh mochi donuts, you can tell the difference. These are some great tasting mochi donuts that you can find inside Uwajimaya. The taro one has real taro dough and not just the frosting. It's also not too sweet and has a good chewiness to it.
The mochi donuts are a nice treat after a long walk exploring the central district. The donuts are soft and chewy and not too sweet. The matcha pistachio is my favorite. Though the donuts look so pretty you feel like you'll have to get a half dozen box or more, a piece per person is really more than enough. I recommend stopping by here when you are in Uwajimaya for a fresh donut.
Amazing! There is a denseness and softness to these donuts which makes no sense at all but tastes absolutely amazing. There's also something about the shape of it that makes it so satisfying to eat. Like eating 8 perfect little donut holes baked together. We got the fruity pebbles taro one and Oreo matcha. While these donuts are deliciously sweet they don't taste overly sugary or too frosted. I highly recommend both but my favorite was the Oreo matcha. Two of my favorite sweets harmoniously combined and n
I love Mochi donuts, and unfortunately, for me, Dochi's doughnuts do not meet the ones I've had at other locations. Service was fast and not a long line. I ordered the Ube Donut. I wanted to try the Taro, but it had drizzle that I didn't want. The Ube was ok. It didn't have too much of the Mochi consistency. Overall, it's good if you haven't had it before.
Overall, Dochi earns a 4.75/5 stars. $32 for a dozen donuts is a bit nuts. Even then, I won?t take a star away from them in my review, only in my comments. Other than that, I think I may prefer them to all donuts besides the original glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme! Donuts: ausgezeichnet (5/5) Dienst: wunderbar (5/5) Preis: nur okay (4.25/5)
Amazing place inside the little food court of Uwajimaya. Love the usual flavors but I love their specialty/seasonal ones even more. Anything with matcha and ube here is great and the packaging/boxes are incredible. It is a little pricey but that most mochi doughnut place I feel. Good stuff.
Absolutely amazing! Soft, chewy, flavorful! I got the Twix and Taro :) Can?t wait to try every flavor. We drove all the way from Shoreline to try these - in love! They were $2.75 a donut.
These mochi donuts were delicious! Every flavor was delicious and light. This is by far my favorite type of donut, and Dochi does it the best of all the places I?ve tried. Great selection and they even separate the donuts with nuts in deprecate bags. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dessert! My favorites were the Coffee and Ube Glaze. We tried the: Ube, Coffee, Red Velvet, Cinnamon Crunch, and Matcha Pistachio. Very decently priced as well. Will be returning!
Amazing mochi donuts. All the flavors were excellent not overly strong or sweet. The red velvet coffee was my favorite.
I tried this mango drink and I like it, most of the mochi donut are gone so I didn't buy any
Got two matcha s'mores and caramel coffee donuts (slightly discounted at $2.50 each for a Food Walk event). They look kind of artificial but they're actually pretty good. Not as sinful and greasy as a donut, but has a really nice chew that keeps on giving. The sweetness is just right if you like slightly less sweet (Asian-style) desserts. The flavor is however not impacted and really shines. I would recommend this place.
I?m a big fan of donuts and this was my first mochi donut experience and all I can say is WOW! The dough is so soft and fluffy, it easily breaks apart. The flavor choices are so fun and I really want to try them all. I had the taro with fruity pebbles, what a combination! It was sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. Make sure you get these early as they can sell out. The staff serving us were incredibly friendly too.
Matcha pretzel mochi donut. Yumm always heard about it and finally able to try. The donut was chewy and amazingly balanced between matcha aroma and light sweetness. Will definitely come back to try more as the Ube drizzle seems to be a fast seller as well.
Located inside the market These mochi donuts are quite good, we tried all 5 flavours. They did seem to be several hours old, but they may have just been the general chill cooling them down quickly. They're made off site and brought over. Our favourite was the coffee red velvet and the glazed ube
10/10 love these donuts! Not to sweet or make you feel sick if you eat the whole box?just kidding. I did eat 2 though, the cookies & Oreo and salted caramel. I love the texture, super unique! Can?t wait to try the other flavors they come out with next.
I love mochi. These dochis were chewy with a definite mochi taste and consistency on the inside. Bought one of each. My favorite are the Oreo matcha - they were perfect (not too sweet). Went back next day to buy more of them
After finding this tiktock famous food joint we made the 2 hour drive. The different options and reasonably priced was worth the trip. The soft and chewy mochi ?? was exactly what expected. Loved the fuity pebbles, ube and matcha flavors. And bought a dozen to take home for $28. A day later and its still soft and chewy. I only wished that had a fresh warm option, that would have kicked it up a notch!!
Best thing ever invented. Second time coming here Inside uwajima. We had a strawberry poki the first time. This time we had the Hazlenut and a berry flavored donuts with family that came to visit. We all loved them!
This was one of the first mochi donuts I have ever tried a few years ago and after that day I have loved these. This is the first time I've been back since the pandemic and surprisingly there wasn't a line on a Sunday afternoon. I just walked up to the window and ordered one of each (half dozen) for $15 and went on my way. These aren't the cheapest things and they're not super anything mind blowing but they're something different and they're definitely tasty. It always adds a sense of occasion when you bri
I was very disappointed by my strawberry lychee refresher. You couldn?t adjust ice or sweetness, and the whole thing was about 25% ice. It also made getting the lychee jelly at the bottom extremely difficult. The drink itself tasted like strawberry syrup and water rather than actual strawberry juice.
I got lucky and managed to sneak up on this place when there wasn't a line out the door. Saw they were pretty hyped up on social media so my curiosity got the best of me and I grabbed a half dozen (1 of each flavor). Overall they taste alright, definitely different from your traditional Dunkin / Krispy Kremes, but not mind blowing though. Try them out, just try to avoid the lines as the hype is overblown IMO.
Our first mochi donut but I could eat them everyday they were so delicious. We will absolutely be seeing Dochi again soon.
Amazing mochi donuts! My favorites are Taro Pebbles and Ube Glazed. Keep in mind: they rotate flavors every 2 weeks but some flavors you can find all the time (like Ube Glazed).
These are crazy delicious!!!! And really easy to share with friends. :) There is usually a long line but it moves FAST so you won't be waiting for too long. The flavors rotate too so it's worth visiting more than once!
This is my second visit, and we always get a box with one of each donut to try. The texture of these donuts is excellent, they're not too sweet at all. Highly recommend to give them a try!
Got in line around 12:10p on Thursday and it?s definitely the best day in terms of line length. I waited at most 5 minutes. I got a Matcha Oreo, Ube Glazed, and Strawberry Shortcake. The donuts have a chewy texture and I thought they were all pretty good. My favorite was Ube since it was just subtly sweet and personally I don?t like overly sweet things. The donuts are $3 each or $18 for half a dozen.
Donuts + Mochi = Dochi = LiLiHa Bakery's Poi Donuts from Hawaii, with a Seattle twist. We got 1 of each of the current flavors (as of 9/1/19: Ube Glazed, Chocolate Almond, Strawberry Pebbles, Matcha Oreos, Coffee Red Velvet, and Ube Crunch. These are not hot out of the over mochi donuts like other places have them, but they are definitely tasty. Each ?? makes you $3 less rich but if you buy half a dozen or a dozen, you save some of your dignity. The packaging is all about Instagram and the inside writing e
Located inside the Kinokuniya center and in the middle of the food hall. Decent mochi donut. I got the ube donut. I wish it had a bit more ube flavor as I didn't really feel like it was an ube donut. I am sure the other flavors are good though.
We got here st the end of the day for them. The shopkeep was incredibly sweet! Our first time trying these. They tasted fresh super light and not too sweet. They had more of a chew than a traditional donut. I havent had regular mochi so maybe its more of that texture? A very worthwhile stop when visiting Seattle.
I love the texture of these donuts. The only downside is they?re quite oily and the texture of the donuts gets affected by the end of the day. They?re not something to save for the next day. They?re super great fresh though!
Cute unique donut shop located inside the Uwajimaya food court. The lady up front was super friendly and the donuts are indeed special, not too sweet and a unique mochi-like texture. Flavors change every couple weeks and at $2.75 per donut, not a bad deal. Would recommend.
While not a big variety in shape, there is a good variety in taste here, and tasty donuts they are. Friendly staff, quick service, delicious offerings - definitely a highlight in this marketplace.
Their mochi donuts are so delicious. My favourite flavour was the chocolate speculoos & cookies n cream. Like any other donut they?re best eaten fresh, after a little while it does tend to get a bit soft, but that?s like any other donut!! They also have amazing customer service. Can?t wait to come back
YUM! This is mochi donuts store and the donuts are super chewy and delicious. I honestly loved the white macadamia and the candy unicorn the most! I think it will taste even better if you microwave it for like 5 seconds to warm it up. :)
Is it mochi? Is it a donut? Who cares when it's this yummy? I had never had one before this day and was blown away. The actual taste is like a light light donut but with a slight chew. I'll seek this out when I'm in the area for the rest of my life.
The flavors seemed interesting (we got the taro pebbles and matcha oreo), but it's a pretty average doughnut otherwise. Dry and not a whole lot of flavor. Also, I wouldn't have even noticed it was mochi if someone hadn't told me.
Yum! My favourite part of these was the shape of the donuts which make them very convenient for sharing :^) One star less because these were not really mochi-like and more dry..
Had been reading about this place for a couple of months before they opened, and was eagerly waiting for their opening. The day finally came and I was able to catch them just before they closed, I was hoping to get their Ube, but they were sadly out. So I got the oreo matcha and pebbles taro, both of which I enjoyed immensely. The line is a little bit cumbersome, but that is what is to be expected for a place that is just opening.
Great pandan Viet coffee that wasn?t too sweet and just the perfect amount of strength! Would definitely come back next time at Uwaijimaya!
New pop up in food court offering ?mochi style-like? donuts; spin off attempt of Mister Donuts or similar in Asia. They have about 5-7 flavors a day, and they are topping flavors, not actual donut flavors. They do not offer a plain one and each donut is $3. Size is good but overall texture and taste were underwhelming. On the dry side and not much of a QQ-chewiness that you would expect from a mochi donut.
Really unique texture you have to try at least once. Oreo mochi was a pretty good flavor, though I would say these donuts can get stale pretty quickly. They also sell out and close early.
I got the strawberry pocky mochi donut since I had never tried them before but I was not particularly impressed. There was nothing wrong with them, it's just that they didn't taste much different than regular donuts. They looked pretty though.
Love these mochi donuts. All the flavors that I tried were amazing ! I feel like I?ll never get tired of them. Must try
I ordered 10+ dozen donuts for my wedding and they were a HUGE HIT with my guests! I would highly recommend Dochi catering for group events! Customer service was also great?the ordering process was quick and simple!
First of all, I'm a sucker for mochi, but when I heard of dochi, I said "NANI??!" Wife and I picked up a half dozen and were impressed with how moist and crunchy they were. Our favorites were the matcha, the Ube glaze and the strawberry Pocky. Either way, they're all yum!! We'll be back every time we go back to Uwajimayu fa sho ????
Great mochi doughnuts! They don?t have any filling but are made with some wonderful chewy dough. They glaze and frosting/toppings are really good and not overly sweet.
couldnt help myself when i saw Halloween ones ?? the dough and icing is way more superior than mochinut, id give dochi five stars any day
Dochi Donuts is AMAZING. While their donuts are adorable and tasty, their prices are quite high. At $32/dozen, it?s definitely only for special occasions.
Unique experience that is well worth it, at least once. The donuts were chewy and nicely flavored, though it did feel a little light
Easily best donuts you can get in Seattle. From customer service to quality of food , everything is exceptional. Don't sleep in this place ,especially if you're trying to treat yourself, to something deliciously unique 10/10 letsgo
Need to get there early as they sale out pretty fast. The donuts were awesome we tried 3 different kinds. The rest were sold out already.
I personally crave mochi for more of the texture than the taste; however, when you pair mochi with doughnuts, there's an obvious exception... and Dochi doesn't disappoint. Conveniently located and staff is always nice. Can't go wrong.
Dochi donuts are our new favorite! These donuts are perfectly moist with the most beautiful overall texture. Dochi makes sure that not only are their donuts delicious they are adorable to look at as well. The chocolate churro is our number one favorite flavor: with the perfect dough, crunch of cinnamon and sugar and the rich chocolate drizzle you can?t go wrong! They rotate their flavors every couple weeks I think, so their is always something new and delicious to try at Dochi. The little boy I nanny for ha
We showed up first thing in the morning to get a dozen. Every flavor was really good, some of them are a bit sweet, like the cookies and cream flavor, but the other flavors were absolutely perfect to me. The employee who helped us was very kind, and they got all of the donuts boxed up really quick for us. We didn?t have to wait in a long line, as we visited on a weekday it might be different if you decide to stop by during the weekend. If you?re looking to trying mochi donuts, this is the place to go!
Although these are called "mochi", these donuts are NOT GLUTEN FREE. I've talked to the business directly through IG, and they are upfront about it, Google is just inaccurate.
Cute and chewy donuts. I especially liked the matcha s?more donut because it had lots of matcha flavor.
Update: Purchased some donuts in the morning and they were really good. Much softer than the donuts that were purchased last time. Will stop by again next time I'm around this area. Old Review: Nice employees, but donut wasn't as good as expected for the price. Not cake donuts as others have expressed, but they are a little on the dry side and hard chewy, not soft chewy like mochi.
I love Dochi: all the dochinuts are delicious ??
So good. I can only imagine what they would have tasted like warm.
Dochi donuts are super yummy!! The chewiness, flavors and especially the fun toppings make it such an excellent donut. The owners and employees are super friendly and has great service with a smile. Hungry, go get one or a dozen.
Best Japanese donuts ever!!! I went around Halloween!
Strongly recommend. Maple and bacon was really delicious! This is not going to be a light fluffy donut, bear in mind. It is made of rice, after all. So you might find it chewier than say a fresh baked yeast or cake donut. That said, I really liked all 3 flavors I tried. And I really want to know how they make these things... The circular balls that make up the donut are oddly satisfying to eat in individual bites, in a row. Plus, your glaze and topping ratio to donut is perfect!
Delicious donuts! They have happy hour prices in late afternoon which makes them very reasonably priced. Will definitely stop by for more donuts next time I'm in the area!
The long line went quickly, and there were so many fun flavors!
Delicious mochi donuts with a ton of flavor. The chewy mochi texture combines with some crunchy toppings in delicious bite-sized pieces. Really recommend the matcha and taro flavors but theres a lot more to choose from!
I felt so honored and lucky to have had the opportunity to purchase these delicious delicacies.
I've never had a bad donut from Dochi, and despite them rotating flavors there has always been something I liked! The employees at the Seattle location in particular are extremely friendly, I love going there whenever I make the trip.
I had some delicious donuts here and I really appreciated the fast and professional service here. I would love to be back at some days
Ordered a 1/2 dozen of my favorite doughnuts ?? and was rewarded an extra doughnut ??. These are the best
Unique but definitely awesome mochi donuts!
I have never been.... Came here to say that even though google says their donuts are GF, the FAQ on their website says NOT GF. Just don't want this causing a problem for anyone!
