Dobo's Delights Bake Shoppe

I contacted them less than 2 weeks from my event date for a cake. They were extremely accommodating and the cake was delicious! So soft and moist! Im not a huge frosting fan but theirs was also really good. Cake looked and tasted amazing, will definitely use them again!

We showed up unannounced, and they were more than accommodating to help us with wedding cake samples. What complimented this awesome service was the amazing presentation and the great tasting cakes and fillings. You can not pass up the opportunity to try the great assortment and combinations they have to offer.

We went with Dobo?s Delights for our wedding cake and it was such a great decision! Our cake was beautiful & delicious! The staff was kind & helpful! We had a tasting and before we left we bought a few of their desserts and those were delicious as well! Highly recommend!!

The owner sent a box of goodies to our service department, and I couldn't stop eating them. The poptart cookie things were incredible! The owner is very sweet and she likes cool cars, too. I wish I lived closer! I will recommend her to everyone I can.

I have been going to Dobos for doughnuts in the mornings for quite sometime now and the cream filled Long Johns have have been getting really bad about no filling, this morning four of them had little to no filling. Most of the doughnuts were not what I expected. Everyone at work has been complaining about them lately. Great service and atmosphere but quality of food not so good.

They had delicious King Cake for Fat Tuesday, and at a fair price! Everyone loved the cake. This was my first purchase from the bakery, (new to the area) but it won't be my last. I reached out to this bake shop with about a week?s notice requesting a cake my a child?s birthday party. I was blown away with how great they did with so little details. I requested a double layer (one layer vanilla, one layer chocolate) 9 inch round cake that had dinosaurs. The cake was phenomenal (taste and looks) and only cost $30 - I told them they way undercharged me especially since I only gave them a week?s notice. They were also so responsive to my questions on social media. That might not matter

We moved here from Indiana over 4 years ago and found this bakery as we looked for a new one to make cakes for our special occasions. This place is an absolute gem! They do such a phenomenal job and make each cake with passion. We have not bought a cake that disappointed us. Delicious springerlie cookies; my aunt used to bake them and I was missing them so I ordered 2 dozen. Good texture and lots of anise flavor, traditional and tasty! Came quickly, packed well, will definitely buy again!

I was told about DoBo?s from my mother so I decided to use them for a gender reveal party I was hosting. They weren?t the fastest to respond but after a phone call and getting all the details settled they truly did an AMAZING job on my donuts and gender reveal cake!! I have had Salt rising bread ship from all over the USA over the years trying to find someone who makes it as I remembered as a kid. Dobo's is the closest i have found. The smell the taste and the texture are all closer than any other bakery in America. I may need to move to their town so i dont have to pay for shipping. :)

I placed a sizable zserb? order to be delivered, to Illinois, as Christmas gifts. They arrived in fantastic shape, superbly packaged...and were absolutely delicious! We use to love Dobo's donuts..but today has changed our tune. My husband went this morning at 6:18am and got 2 dozen different donuts. The donuts are super greasy now and don't taste like they use to and the guy who was working shoved 2 dozen in 1 box then told my husband he doesn't usually put that many in 1 box but they fit so he did. They are just kinda smooshed in the box. Very disappointed because we paid pretty much $30 for something that is mostly going to go in the trash.

Excellent customer service!! I cannot say enough about how amazing they are to work with! I'm new to the area and was looking for a cake to be made for my 14 year old daughter last minute (very last minute-think 2 hours) they not only accommodated my request but outdid themselves! Stopped in this evening during Harvest Days. We purchased a jelly filled donut, which was very good, A+. Tried the pizza donut, which was just okay. Very creative item, however. This is very good place to go. I have been there many times. It's a very popular and busy place. They have good doughnuts, cookies and cakes. They are closed on Sundays. But I still took pictures of their decorated window. Love this place.

The donuts were good but they stuffed 2dozen in one box which made them stick together and didn't look good. You need to split them up into 2 boxes. What if I had them for a big meeting or something like that. You just need to put one dozen per box.

The smell is delightful in this shop and one of the few places in Ohio to buy Springerle cookies. These old German cookies take a long time to make and are only available in November through December, so buy now and freeze them for other special occasions. Sending my father to pick-up some for our holiday feast.

Did a Google search to find out if they made a specific pastry for a friend of mine for a Christmas gift and they did. Called and asked if they had any on hand and if they could set one aside for me to pick up the next day. Thank you for your terrific service.

I was craving cookies yesterday (Aug. 14, 2018), but not just any cookies would do. I wanted good cookies so I decided to stop by a bakery, where cookies should be top quality. There weren't many varieties to choose from, but there were oatmeal raisin, one of my favorites. I paid $4.95 for a dozen and left the store. I was deeply disappointed. The cookies were stale and tasteless. They wouldn't have been good even if they had been fresh. I threw them away and I will never go back to Dobo's.

I grew up as a close family friend with Cindy dobo (owner), she made most of my birthday cakes and graduation cake. I will always recommend people here. She has creative and delicious ideas. She embraces her heritage of Hungary and produces deserts from there. Her icing is unique and rich. She's always great to come in and see.

I?ve eaten lots of bakery goods in my life time. From actual home town bakeries! I?m over 70 years old. Do Bo?s in Piqua Ohio is by far the best ever. No one else?s even comes close. The Ladies at my Wifes shop told her that the good folks at Dobo's make that best Handmade Fruit Cakes. Unfortunately, I ordered a Dobos Tort arrived in not very pleasant condition, I contacted the company their motivation was disgraceful. I will never order anymore from them I do not trust them, they suggest that will come to one agreement with you, they are lying, and are very dishonest. Be careful before order anything from them.

I bought 2 dozen of different flavored cookies for a meeting at my company yesterday morning. I was so embarrassed at the quality of my purchase. They were hard and none of the flavors were obvious. I purchased 4 different flavors and recieved a bunch of plain, hard, and tasteless cookies. Salt Rising Bread? Nope, not even remotely. [See UPDATE below] The bread was fine, if all you want is normal whitebread. I was raised on my grandmother's salt rising bread. Dobo?s created a beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes for our special day!! The only direction given for the decoration of cake was that we would like a wildflower theme. We were more than thrilled with the result of the cake and cupcakes, decoration and taste!

You would think an $800 wedding cake would taste good and not be dry. Everybody at the reception commented on how terrible it was. The bride only had one day for everything to be wonderful and Dobo's blew it. This was the worst wedding cake I've ever had!

Quaint Saturday morning treat with my daughters. They have all the basics, but also some great innovations. The peanut-butter/chocolate doughnut was excellent. My oldest loved her apple fritter. The youngest loved her jelly doughnut. It is in downtown Piqua so there is nice strolling, other stores, and the fun of the Piqua library. Hungarian pastries are time consuming in the preparation but well worth the effort. However I seldom have the time to bake. So I called the day before and ordered a nut roll, kifli's, the zserbo,the sample r tray. The beigli was over cooked, (go to the website and look at the picture. Mine did not look like that at all) The kifli's were undercooked: the dough was 'chewy'. And the sample tray had only two items: kifli's and Fluffo.
