This is literally the best donut shop in the area. I've been coming here for years, and there's never been a time they've disappointed. The service is always great. The atmosphere is always cozy, and makes you feel at home in a way, and the donuts are the freshest around any day of the week. I've been a loyal customer of Dixie Cream Shop since I was a kid, and I've always loved their donuts. However, after my experience today, I'm sad to say I won't be returning. I waited in line for about 10 to 15 minutes, during which the staff member, an older gentleman, finished serving a customer but then proceeded to engage in a lengthy conversation with the customer instead of moving on to the next customer. Look, I?m a OTR trucker and been to all 48 and had all types of donuts, from Krispy Kreme to Shipley?s and everything in between but none of them can hold a candle to my hometown?s own Crispy Cream cafe, the original. It?s two more near ft pierce, fl but they not like us, I?m pretty sure the owner doesn?t have a gold star on their license but if you want the best donuts in the lower 48, do yourself a favor and stop by Crispy Cream in Valdosta, GA , you?ll get hooked. They are the highest rated doughnut shop in Valdosta. They need to change their oil, or something, because their doughnuts tasted terrible. Nearly made me sick.

My therapist told me there were 4 stages to my addiction with the Dixie Cream Donut Shop. First stage was when I saw the sign & stopped to buy one. Second stage was when I began stopping by a few times a week. Third stage began when I couldn't resist eating these donuts after every meal. I'm now in the 4th stage as I cannot stay away from the place. Know that these donuts are akin to street crack. You've been warned.

Donuts are tiny. "Chocolate" doesn't taste like chocolate. I've been going to this place for several years. The donuts have shrunk by about 30% and the glaze and frosting just flakes off as you eat. It wasn't like that until recently.

Decided i was going to start a day off work right and pick up some fresh donuts. Got there 10 minutes after opening and ordered a dozen. They were all a day old. Chocolate icing and glaze flaking off in chunks with every bite. Extremely disappointed. Will not be going back

My experience was bad and that guy was rude I will never go back there again. I'm not from here I moved from Florida and someone recommended me but had I would have known he was going to be that rude I wouldn't have never went there. This was my first time having these donuts and all I can say is ?WOW!? These donuts were absolutely delicious! I had the chocolate cake donut of the day, a normal glazed donut, and a chocolate glazed donut. i tried my little sisters powered cake donut too. They were all amazing! I will be going back here again soon.

Someone said Dixie cream donuts had closed in Valdosta, Georgia and then another person said they are open till 12:00 noon every day. Born and raised in this area, Dixie Cream has ALWAYS been my favorite. Moved to SWFL 10 years ago. Was in town for a visit, and had to let my wife try for the first time ever. And she agreed, they are the BEST Donuts ever!

When I was younger my grandpa made it a point every Saturday morning to go get a box of donuts from this shop every time I stayed with him and my grandma on the weekends. They were and still are hands down the best donuts you will ever find anywhere. Whenever I?m up early enough (I like my sleep) I always go and get a box and every time I do it brings back so many memories I had with my grandpa. It?s nostalgia with every bite for me and I will be extremely heartbroken if they ever close.

Friendly staff always! The whole operation is little different than it was 40 years ago when I was a kid. I love the fact it?s small, quiet, simple, and real people who take pride in what they do. I hope they never change and never close!

I have enjoyed donuts from here ever since I was a kid. Things haven't changed much since then, and rightfully so. However, what used to be a delicious early morning treat before school, is now my favorite place to pick up dozens for me and my workmates. A salute to consistency and tradition! Stay sweet!

My son was looking at Google maps as we're driving through town, "There's a donut shop over there past Johnson!" Well ok then... Not sorry I stopped. The lady was very patient and friendly with me and my two boys as everyone changed their minds 6 times until we got our order straight. The prices are very reasonable and the donuts are great.

It's a very small shop with AMAZING donuts and a window into the back to watch the donuts being made. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely fantastic (ours were fresh out of the oven). My custard filled donut had cream all the way through. Usually filled donuts only have a blob of custard inside one edge of the donut, but not these! We stopped here on a road trip and I'm just sad I won't be able to go here regularly because it's that delicious.

Dixie Cream is a bit out of the way, but worth it for the best donuts in town imo. Don't go in expecting a whole "experience," this place is the opposite of the big chains, but you can see thru the windows how they make everything from scratch. The coffee is decent and glazed donuts actually are crispy, not gooey. Just don't expect the old lady at the counter to kiss your butt, she's there to sell donuts, not to be your friend. I'll give her a pass, she's been up a lot earlier than the rest of us..

Best donuts on the planet. Get them hot and they are beyond compare. Notice all of the bad reviews that have an explanation are about someone that works the counter that wasn't nice to them and not about the donuts lack of quality. Get over it. You are dealing with someone there for 1 minute or 2 at the most. Who cares? Especially if the donuts are as awesome as these.

They have some really good donuts when they're "hot and fresh". I say this because there have been times i've bought donuts there that seemed to have been refried or look stale. The lady could be more friendly but i guess you can't expect much from your local mom and pop business aye? She screwed up my order once and gave me wrong change but the other guy sorted it out and handled it well. Other than that the donuts are good.

Dixie Creme doughnuts is the place for the best doughnuts in South Georgia . I've been coming here since my childhood days in the 1960's. The doughnuts are the lightest, and melt in your mouth when they are just cooked. They have many varieties to choose from, so take your pick.
