Definitely worth the stop for the donuts and other desserts but the actual lunch food isn?t anything special. It?s actually very small portions and you don?t get any sides unless you buy them separately. Lunch food is extremely overpriced. The soda is also horrible. It tastes so so bad. The donuts and cookies on the other hand were delicious!
I was so excited to try this place and babyyyyy I must say that hot chicken and French toast biscuit hit the spot!! Omg it was so good and freshly made!! Be prepared to wait in line but they were fast getting the stuff out! It's def worth the wait! They have so many savory and sweet options to choose from! I will def be back!
We came late really just to get the amazing honey chicken biscuit. Instead we got that, the ranchero sandwich, a cheeseburger slider and a cinnamon roll for the road. When i tell you that every bite was exquisite, it is no embellishment. Each item was flavorful, delectable and arrived nice and warm. The staff were kind and courteous and truly seemed to appreciate us coming in for dinner. Listen: just come try one of their delectable delights, it doesn't matter what you pick for you are in for a taste bud ex
My teen and I walked from the French Quarter to District to try the hot honey french toast biscuit. I also grabbed a couple of donuts to go. The biscuit was delicious. It was like a party of flavors on my tongue. I have not tried the donuts yet. The staff was super helpful on planning our next stop which ended up being the street car on St Charles.
Amazing food and service, the doughnuts are dense and quite tasty. I was bummed that breakfast stops so early but the burger I got was very good. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic! We saw a video on TikTok of the hot chicken and honey butter sandwich and it did not disappoint! The Gouda grits were phenomenal. The frozen Thai tea is a beautiful pick me up. 10/10 recommend!!
Got the Hot Chicken & Honey Butter Biscuit it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was just the right spice with the very crispy but sweet biscuit. I also enjoyed the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was sweet but very good.
Amazing fried chicken sandwich! Really crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the bun was nice and light. Very tasty!! This was a great find on our walk through the Garden District.
We ordered the French toast chicken biscuits to be delivered to our hotel while in town, and it ended up being the best breakfast we?ve ever had. Even the cheese grits were a 10 out of 10. I have the location saved to every app I could find it and shared on social media so others can try it.
Always a good time when I visit the District. The Rooster chicken sandwich is my all time favorite but today I came in the they were advertising the Hot Cat, a catfish snadwich... Awwwww mannnn. The best fish sandwich I have ever had. The creativity and new items never seems to amaze me.
The girl that rang us up was so sweet, helpful, and patient. My lavender matcha was delicious and my husband?s cappuccino were both delicious. The biscuit and gravy were flavorful. The gouda grits had a great texture and robust flavor. The French toast chicken biscuit had a kick and was well balanced with sweet and savory. The banana pudding donut was THE BOMB. Don?t skip it. The man making our drinks was friendly and kind too. 10/10. Will return.
The service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. I had to resist the urge to lick my plate. The gravy was well seasoned. The turkey sausage was the best I have ever had. The star of the show did not disappoint. The hot honey chicken biscuit was amazing!!! Don?t walk, run to go try the best breakfast food in New Orleans.
The food here is amazing. I had the honey biscuit with fried chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The Cajun seasoning on it was so flavorful. My partner had a double cheeseburger and said he thoroughly enjoyed it. If I?m back in New Orleans I?ll definitely stop here again.
The staff was super friendly! She was generous in allowing our group to try the ice creams but we decided on splitting some of the donuts instead. The Vietnamese iced coffee was delish! The individuals who ordered tea had lukewarm water so that was not great. The donuts are hefty but tasty. We loved the cinnamon roll donut but I wasn?t a huge fan of the others that we chose (best to worst> cornucopia, sweet potato casserole, glazed). The donut was soft and moist with a unique flavor and liked that they were
Been to 2 different locations (this one and the one in Elmwood) and I've never had a single thing that wasn't delicious. Their donuts are good, their chicken is good, their burgers are good. Everything is just too consistently good, especially considering the range of offerings on the menu. Only downside is everything is also kind of expensive but that's a price I'm willing to pay (literally)
Amazing food. I had the hot chicken and biscuit and a latte. Perfect breakfast. Open air kitchen with thoughtful dining design. The service was nice and the staff were friendly. I took a donut to go. The donut options were fantastic!
I legit have to fight myself to not eat here for breakfast daily. All items hit but the miso-praline bacon & egg biscuit is EPIC. All the sweet treats are delightful as well.
We specifically plan trips to New Orleans just to get the creme brulee cinnamon roll. This place is the definition of a guilty pleasure. The sliders and Vietnamese iced coffee will cure any hangover and I love trying the new flavors of donuts each time.
I got their frozen thai tea, the brown butter drop, and one of their March specials, the budino donut. Frozen thai tea: Really refreshing. Good, strong Thai tea flavor. Brown butter drop: This was good. The glaze was good, the outside had a nice crisp to it, but the inside was still moist and tender. And you can taste the browned butter. Budino: The salted caramel was very good, and the pretzel toffee was also a unique and delicious touch. I didn't like the pastry cream inside though. It was kind of clum
My boyfriend and I stopped in for breakfast two days in a row. The first day was absolutely slammed due to Taylor Swift?s concert being in town. Despite the extreme amount of bussiness the staff was friendly and quick. We both got the miso-praline bacon and egg biscuit, fancy hashbrowns, and cold brew both days. Between the two visits we split the blood orange glazed donut, the cherry donut, and gouda grits as well. Everything we ate was delicious. The praline-miso bacon and egg biscuits are exceptional. Th
I visit DDSB often. Love the burgers, chicken and egg sandwiches. Brulee'd Cinnamon Roll is a fav. Nice people.
The only con is the fact that breakfast ends at 11 am lol. We cannot recommend bought the brunch wings-actually all of their menu items are awesome. They also change up the specialty donuts. My fave coffee to get is half cold brew half Vietnamese.
Really cool atmosphere. We only had the donuts, but the rest of the menu looked great.
I?m not usually a fan of donuts, but District Donuts completely changed my perspective. Their cinnamon roll was simply the most amazing I?ve ever tasted?soft, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The chocolate chip cookie was equally impressive; my brother-in-law, a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur, declared it the best cookie he?s ever had. We?re definitely bringing a box back home with us. If you?re in the area, District Donuts is a must-visit; their exceptional treats are truly worth experiencing!
UPDATE - 25 November 2024 I once stated that I don?t love the donuts, but I like the donuts, that still stands;HOWEVER, the breakfast taco is EVERYTHING!!!!!! Chorizo Bacon Taco is the name and it is so yummy. I?ve been ordering it in the morning before work now for about a month. I hate when I?m done eating it because I?m always wanting more. It?s a Flour Tortilla, Chorizo-Spiced Slab Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Havarti Cheese, Pico de Gallo, Jalapeno Sauce? straight from the website. Ya?ll this taco has me
Delicious dinner! The sliders with cheesy waffle fries were tasty, the brussel sprouts were ?? out of this world amazing, the ?? salad was really big and scrumptious, and the wings were tasty as well. Great location, very clean restaurant, and everyone there was friendly!
There are so few places these days that leave me with a longing lasting impression. The chai was so perfectly spiced, I bought my own bottle. The fries were SUPER crispy. I personally don't like my fries to be that crispy, but my two traveling companions devoured the crap out of them. There wasn't anything kid friendly for our picky eater, so the staff was kind enough to let us bring in our own food for her. (we asked before doing it). I had the rooster, my partner had the hickory bacon cheeseburger. Appa
Took a street car out to Buckner Mansion to walk around and look at houses. We came across District Donuts and decided to stop in here for lunch. Order the Hickory Bacon Cheeseburger and The Rooster chicken burger with waffle fries, plus an iced coffee and iced tea. The beef burger was delicious, absolutely smashed it out of the park for this one, the Hickory bbq was fantastic and really worked with what was on the burger. The chicken was also good, but not to the same standard in my opinion, felt like it
It?s never too early to eat donuts, alternative spelling ?doughnuts?, in the Garden District. Now I have gotten accustomed to spending $5-$6/donut in Toronto, so the New Orleans donuts were not a price shock to me. Plus, you have the option of ice cream, and ice cream is always a good idea. This place is worth checking out. My favourite option is the cinnamon roll donut, but don?t let me bias you.
Fun! Donuts great coffee good eggs ?? nice hood to walk around in. Love the king cake donut with a baby on top.
First time trying out this place. Definitely was a hit! Food was absolutely flavorful from the sandwiches to the doughnut. Waffle fries were fresh and crispy, best I?ve had. I recommend trying the sliders. Doughnuts were fresh and fluffy. Definitely will be coming back for some more!
Went on a little getaway to Louisiana, you know I had to eat good and District Donuts is one of the spots that did justice? We got the Rooster? Chicken Sandwich & Hickory Bacon Cheeseburgsr Opted for the waffle fries and was happy with that decision. If you ever pass by a District Donuts, I suggest you stop by. W eats.
The most delightful sandwich. Hot chicken and honey butter biscuit is a must. The carrot cake donut is quite good too, fluffy. House made root beer is lovely.
Awesome people! I asked about stickers and the owner gave me some completely free! The sliders were some of the best sliders I have ever had! I definitely recommend this place if you're in the New Orleans area!
Food was fresh and amazing. I had got the cinnamon honey latte, I bought 2 cause it was so good. My only disappointment was one of the staff, she wasn't the most friendly and walked away when I was asking a simple question.
My wife and I stopped in on our way out of town this weekend and had an amazing breakfast! We got the brown butter drop donut to start and it was so soft and sweet. I got a cappuccino and it was ok but not great, luckily I also ordered the tangerine juice and it was very tasty. My wife got their "craft soda" and while it didn't have the "bite" that a Diet Coke has, it was good. The pi?ce de r?sistance was the Big Bird Biscuit! It was absolutely perfect! My wife got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and she
I?m a snacking type of person. I eat all day lol so this place was perfect ! I had a donut and scrumptious chicken slider !
I recently discovered this place and ordered online to pickup on my way out of town. I ordered the hot chicken and honey butter biscuit. Pickup was quick and easy, and the sandwich was delish. Next time I?m in town I?ll have to dine in.
Ordered the spicy chicken biscuit and the veggie burger, along with donuts and coffee. The veggie burger was superb if a bit hard to eat, as the black bean patty fell apart easily. Otherwise, if you are visiting the city from out of town, there are better and more unique restaurants to try. I?d come back just for the coffee thought.
Stopped in a whim to get the kids a snack, but would go out of our way to return. Amazing food, ice cream, and coffees!
Love this place, the latte actually tastes like a latte...the donuts are on point and from what I've heard the savory items are just as great as the sweets.
We stopped at District Donuts because it was part of the New Orleans donut tour and figured it was worth a try. Unfortunately, the flavors we chose didn?t deliver. I tried the sangria donut and really didn?t like it?the yeasty flavor was overwhelming and took away from what could?ve been a fun twist. We also got the brownie batter donut, but it wasn?t nearly chocolaty enough and just felt underwhelming. With so many great spots in the city, I won?t be going back next time.
The food is always amazing, fresh and seasonal offerings. Great portions. The service is always on point. The staff is very courteous and nice. Tipped 15% at check out because there is no table service but start will nevertheless wait on you if the situation arises. The atmosphere is comfortable with plenty of seating. I would give it four stars because of the cost but who are we kidding? Nowadays everything has high costs. Worth the cost.
Amazing donuts, burgers and fries. Found this place on a donut tour and had to come back for the burgers because the place smells like hickory smoked bacon. The bacon burger did not disappoint and the chicken sandwich and sliders were also a hit. Everyone loved their dinner.
I visited district donuts in October while in town for the eras tour. It is January and I have not stopped thinking about the lavender haze donut!! It was lemon filled with a lavender glaze and delicious! Definitely worth a trip if you?re in New Orleans! Also pictured are my sister?s donuts, lover and champagne problems themed though I cannot remember the flavors.
Solid donuts. Very creative. I love the king cake donut. All donuts were excellent. Not at all sweet with neat fillings. Lots of classics and also neat creative ones like eggnog. Place is fun to hang at or grab take out.
These donuts are worth the price and the drive it'll take you to get to any of their locations. The coffee is always delicious and I seriously can't get enough of those hashbrown medallions. I stole a bite of some sort of hot chicken and honey butter french toast biscuit that my girlfriend got and it was INSANELY yummy. I'm going to be thinking about the lavender, lemon donut they had today for quite a while.
As you can see I really enjoyed The District. I ended up spending like 115 dollars over 2 days. The first day I got some a taste of the pork belly Slider, and that just tickled the good part of my brain. It was on a great butter bun and the pickled onion put it over the top. It was my favorite slider, but it wasn't my only favorite. Chicken and Hamburger was a must try too. The donut was awesome, they had a Golden Gram Cereal inspired donut, it was light and fluffy. It's a little expensive, but the staff wa
Came here on a whim because me and my girlfriend just happened to walk past and it was so good!! We shared a ranchero burger which is definitely one of the best burgers I?ve ever had. We also got a banana pudding donut which we were both very impressed by
I've had high expectations for a lot of restaurants I've gone to in New Orleans and I've been disappointed. This place did not disappoint. From the first bite, everything I tasted was delicious with unique flavor, even the Arnold Palmer. I had the chocolate donut and a milk and cookies donut. The milk and cookies was amazing and I usually don't like donuts. I also had a cheeseburger. I usually don't like a thick burger but this was a great burger. A definite stop if you're in New Orleans.
Amazing, first time here, food was great, great service will be back.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant! I cannot say enough positive things about it. The food was amazing! If I could get a barrel of those honey biscuits, I would be in heaven. You can tell that they put so much care into making the food. You definitely taste the love. The whole experience was made even better by the wonderful staff. I love how open the whole place is so we could talk to them while they were rolling dough or washing the dishes. They were so friendly and personable. We laughed, we talked,
We stopped in to try the donuts, ended up with a cinnamon roll, and it was so good we decided to just stay there for our lunch too. They also have the best iced tea. 10/10 would live next door and eat here every day if I could.
A cute little breakfast place with friendly staff with a very creative selection of donuts. Their breakfast sandwiches are, frankly, amazing. I got a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. It may sound weird, but the eggs were the best part. They were succulent and creamy and honestly the best eggs I've ever had on a breakfast sammy. The raspberry cheesecake donut was decadent with chunks of crunchy graham cracker crust and a raspberry astride a raspberry iced donut with light, fluffy cheesecake filling.
Delicious chicken biscuit all day sandwich. Sliders were good. Donuts were beautiful, and yummy (though I'm not sure I'd go back for them). Service was friendly and fast. Definitely recommend, especially if you're not up for waiting in lines to be seated at brunch time at other nearby places.
I loved everything I had. The best cinnamon bun I've ever had. ?? it's warm and yummy and worth the calories. You can't go there and not try one. Yum yum yum the iced mocha was a treat. The best French toast spicy fried chicken biscuit I've ever had.
YUM! Our group of four was craving a donut for breakfast and we made the walk to this cute shop. They have a rotating selection of donuts - we ordered the cream filled and the carrot cake and sat at the bar area with our tangerine juice. The juice was really yummy, and the donuts were fantastic. It was cool to watch fresh donuts being made along with the breakfast selections. We ordered honey hot chicken sandwiches and the bacon taco. The bacon taco was out of this world, it was a perfect savory, fresh bre
Hole in the wall vibe with professional, warm, inviting staff! What an unbelievable experience! We were so happy with visiting and will absolutely visit again! The burger was AMAZING! The fries were fresh, the afogato was delicious! Absolutely recommend!
Probably one of the best donuts I?ve ever had. Coffee was good too ????
This was our last stop out before heading back home from vacation. We had these little sliders with sausage candied jalapenos and cheddar cheese they were to die for. We also tried one of the black forest cake donuts and had a honey cinnamon latte.AWESOME!!! Everything was so good we decided to bring some samples back to Alabama for the family. We took the carrot cake, the regular Boston cream donut, another black forest cake and the cheesecake donut. They were packaged in these cool little boxes which made
Quality was very good. A lot of great options to choose from and the staff was super nice and friendly.
Checked District off our NOLA to-do list this past week. We were not disappointed. Loved the cannoli doughnut and I got to try my first Chicory coffee. If I could give 6 stars for the service there, I would. The employees were all so friendly and attentive.
Fabulous little restaurant, great food. Really blown away by the handcrafted soda & freshly made donuts. The berries & cream donut was phenomenal! If you're in New Orleans this is a great place to stop for lunch!
Holy cow, not sure what or how they make that bacon in that Miso-Praline Bacon and Egg Biscuit but it?s like an out of body experience. The entire sandwich was incredible and that?s before I get to the Lemon & Blueberry donut and the King Cake donut, both of which were some of the best donuts on earth. I highly recommend going here for an amazing breakfast without a long wait like Ruby Slipper.
Easily one of the best meals we have eaten in our lives. Not a single complaint. The lavender latte was perfect, not over powering or too sweet. Cinnamon roll is unreal, with a flaky exterior. The biscuits are legitimately perfect so the bacon egg cheese was good but basic. However the star of the show is the hot chicken sandwich on French toast biscuit... I can't even begin to describe what an absolute treat it was to have eaten that. If I lived in New Orleans I'd be here as often as possible. The space is
Stopped in after having dinner and got the cinnamon roll, the affogato with chocolate ice cream and the chic- chicory chocolate and chocolate shake was all very good. Not too thick of a shake either. Stopped in again the morning we left to grab some coffee and donuts for the road and I love the Vietnamese coffee. A tad bit too much ice but very good. Highly recommend!!!
I made it a point to make my way here during my trip to New Orleans specifically to try the infamous cinnamon roll that everyone sees to rave about. While I certainly enjoyed it OK, I've had a lot of better cinnamon rolls, and all of them were less expensive. To each their own, but I definitely wouldn't purchase this one a second time.
Great experience and delicious food! We had the biscuits, mine with eggs/bacon and my wife?s with hot chicken. Both fantastic. This is a great example of how to run a restaurant with efficiency and friendliness.
If the donuts weren?t enough to pull you in, the coffee, biscuits, and incredibly friendly staff should. Everything we ordered had us wondering what southern magic was secretly brewing back in the kitchen. Be prepared to be greeted with a smile and by the time you leave you?ll be smiling ten fold from the amazing meal.
One of my new favorites? cool, hip and eclectic. The menu offers everything from delicious donuts to sliders and hamburgers. I tried the highly recommended Fried Chicken biscuit. It was huge and unbelievably awesome. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Nice spacious dining room with an old rustic feel.
Loved it! 100% recommend this place. The "hot chicken honey biscuit french toast" is so good. Whoever created it deserves an award. The donuts are good too. This place stays busy. The area is full of beautiful homes, boutiques and art stores.
My friend told me to visit here. I wasn't really in the mood for a donut but I'm glad we went. The donuts are large and full of flavor. They also have some great slider combos. I had their chicken slider on waffle fries. The flavors were great, but the fries were undercooked. I recommend sticking with the slider bun. The pork belly had great flavor but was a bit over salted.
The food is great! The staff AMAZING! Go!!! They have great sandwiches, homemade ice cream and I can?t even about the donuts!?? Fries were soooo good!
The donut selection is great. Trying to pick just one may be a problem. They all look delicious. I went with the lemon blueberry donut. It was very lemony... subtle blueberry & very sweet. We had the hot honey chicken biscuit. Mine was dark meat, which I do not like! My boyfriend got white meat & he really enjoyed his. After speaking to an employee, we found that you can specify white meat if you prefer. I think that should be added to the menu or conveyed to customers when they order.
One of the most delicious donuts I've ever had.
So good!! Visiting from Seattle and we stopped in for lunch SO YUMMY! I have a severe gluten and beef allergy they were very accommodating they didn't have any gluten free buns but they did make a chicken sliders on waffle fries they also put a note making sure it was going to be gluten free. Sometimes people make me feel bad about my allergies they did not and were very understanding and sweet about it.
The lady at the register made the experience great here! Super awesome, she helped us through the menu showing what sells best and sampling the ice cream. We had sliders, a donut, and ice cream. Not the best burger of my life but that wasn?t my expectation - it was great nevertheless. Donut was good and ice cream was delicious. No lines at 2pm.
Nice location with Friendly Staff! Donuts looked Amazing and the Cinnamon Roll is dangerously Good! Nice variety of Flavors of Ice Cream but I'd recommend the C is for Cookie or the Cheesecake if they have it when to try this place out.
The food was excellent. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. Everything we ordered was delicious. We would highly recommend this place!
We just missed the breakfast menu when we came but they were really nice and explained what we can still get from it, and nice in generals the food was wonderful as well.
Everything was so delicious, I'm just in awe. We had a donut, a cinnamon roll, chicken sliders and waffle fries. All of it was A+++++
Our experience was very limited. That's the reason why I got all five stars because we went in there like 30 minutes before it was closing. There was nobody in there and we just basically bought the donuts that were left. And they all were yummy. Even the gluteinless one. We had a raspberry cheesecake, Too gluteinless, cookie butter, banana pudding donuts.
Real neat place! Great area, great service, great coffee. The cinnamon roll was verrrrrry sweet (too sweet, but that's just regarding my taste) and the glazed doughnut was okay. I think next time I'll try a lunch item instead. Everyone was very courteous and service was prompt and professional. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
District Donuts Sliders Brew in New Orleans exceeded all expectations. The blackened chicken salad and two donuts (cinnamon sugar and lemon glaze) were delicious. The flavors were fantastic, and the staff was friendly. A must-visit spot for any food enthusiast!
Been coming here for years and absolutely love it. They make the most delicious donuts. Also, the cold brew coffee is excellent, it gets busy but it's worth the wait Breakfast wise, the Hot Chicken and honey butter french toast Biscuit is incredible, one of my favourite breakfasts in New Orleans
Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and quick even though they were very busy on a Sunday. We did have to wait a few minutes for a table but it wasn't long. The restaurant and the restroom were clean and bright. They also offer outdoor seating on the patio.
Came here for breakfast and lunch. Lunch is after 11 am. Best biscuit sandwiches I've tasted along with their spiced ice cream. I'm craving this place right now, and their donuts are amazing, too. Everything is fresh. Please district donuts expand to other states lol.
Great donuts, the cinnamon rolls are my fav!! I had to purchase more to take back home. Iced caramel coffee wasn't good the barista didn't mix it at all. For the price and taste of the iced coffee I wouldn't recommend it that item.
