What a vibe! Loved everything from the service to the amazing coffee and food options! Do yourself a favor and skip Starbucks for a local gem like this. Can?t wait to go back. Kolaches, donuts, and coffee ?..life is good.
Very nice, upbeat coffee and sandwich shop. Very friendly staff. Very good biscuit and chicken sandwich.
TOURIST BEWARE! The food was good,BUT my bacon and chozio breakfast taco had NO chorizo on it at all, ONLY bacon, I ordered this FOR THE CHOZIO. I ordered 4 doughnuts, and ONLY GOT 3. And this place isn't cheap. This would've been a 5 star review, forgetting a main ingredient in a dish and charging me for a pricey doughnut that wasn't there is giving ick. I am super disappointing since I'm from out of town and they have no way of making this up to me or my guests. The Vietnamese coffee slush was good, tho
We visited as tourists after finding favorable reviews on Yelp. The staff was friendly to explain their menu and answer questions, as we arrived during a mid-morning lull. We loved our breakfast sandwiches and grabbed a delicious donut to-go. Highly recommend. Don?t think, just go!
Great coffee, pastries and service. Loved the cinnamon roll, espresso and cappuccino. Although a tiny place, great to hang out for a few minutes and enjoy the brews. The only issue is usually parking so drive carefully and don't fret walking a bit to get there, it will be worth it.
I would hazard to call whatever I had a donut, but whatever you would call it, was certainly delicious. The sign could be hard to spot and the exterior is a little-- on the intimidating side-- but through that door is a magician's workshop. The staff make no compromise, so when I thought of ordering something as innocuous as a ?cinnimon roll" I had no clue of the blowtorch that was about to be used (Awesome.) In summary, this place sells pieces of art. Bonus: coffee is great too
Very good customer service. However, the cinnamon sugar donuts were just ok. The pecan pie donut was good - it just tasted sweet without a lot of other flavor.
Pricey. Felt the donuts were stale. Especially the lemon meringue filled donut. Two out of the four of us liked what we got!
Great independent coffee company! Lovin' supporting this small business. Great food & coffee.
Very friendly atmosphere with bar seating that let's see all the cooking happening. Booth seats for comfort and groups to enjoy the space to. The donut I had was a lemonchello poppy seed, it really hit the spot. The other cool thing is if you go far enough to the back you can see the donuts being made as well.
Had a kolache, two donuts, and iced coffee. The service was excellent - able to inform me after I asked a few questions and the prices are more than fair. Finally, the quality of the food is excellent! The donuts are so rich and the kolaches are extremely satisfying!
Delicious and fresh made daily! The choices they have go beyond just donuts, but kolaches as well as coffee. Cute shop for sure!
The donuts were amazing! We walked by on a morning walk around the neighborhood what a great treat!
They had Taylor Swift themed donuts so it?s an automatic win in our book
My husband loved gf blueberry donut (not truly GF because cooked in same fryer as gluten items - for celiac people). We loved key lime, chocolate, and especialy dirt cake donuts too! Cakey, flavorful, fresh even though we went after dinner! Nice and strong iced latte too!
Loved the frozen Thai tea on a hot day!!
We just kind of happened upon this place for breakfast, we were NOT disappointed. Service was great and quick. My biscuit was to DIE for and also the coffee was amazing. My husband loved his cinnamon roll, but the portion was huge. He couldn?t finish it, in my book that is not a bad thing. Definitely got what we paid for and more!
Loved this little coffee and high-end doughnut shop. Their coffee/lattes/etc is soooo good. (FYI for the chai lovers out there theirs is pretty sweet.) Their doughnuts and other baked goods are SOOO good but unfortunately it's really a grab a go place. There's a small patio but wasn't very nice to sit in. We enjoyed it a lot though and during our stay in NOLA visiting with family we went there practically every day for coffee and baked goods.
I visited this place two weeks ago and I still think about how good this place was. Very small, take out only place that is very efficient. Grabbed a few different donuts for the road and each were fantastic. Top notch donuts. They had Vietnamese coffee on tap. I was skeptical but very tasty. The best part was the breakfast biscuit sando. This was such a great place - I wish there was one in my hometown.
Love them. Chicken biscuit is OK. Burger sliders are good.
The worst and most dry donuts I?ve ever had,as far as the prices go,they were completely outrageous. The donuts were so hard af to the point that I thought I was going to lose one of my teeth, but on the bright side they had some nice boxes and great customer service
Nice vibe like everything in this area. Presentation of food and drink is good. However, execution is terrible. On the food; Sandwiches that are very hot on the outside with a cold center, plain biscuits served with cold butter chips making it difficult to spread. On the coffee; overly sweet coffees like Starbucks but unlike Starbucks has a poor balance of flavors. It's like drinking sweet and bitter lattes or sweet and sour Vietnamese coffees.
The staff is not friendly. Told the girl thank you for making my coffee and never even responded. WOULDN?T RECOMMEND. They don?t have whole milk but are directly across the street from Whole Foods. Sad. Get it together management. Y?all can do better.
Coffee caramel donuts is so delicious. Coffee also is great.
Uncomfortable bougie vibe here. Brown haired woman working was so unfriendly I wondered if I had somehow personally offended her. I've worked a million service industry jobs (and stopped here for coffee food on way to work), it's ok to be kind to people!
This donut oasis is so popular that if you show up after mid morning your favorites are likely to be sold out... Their glazed plain donut is a so unique and exceptional... A must sample.
Really cool little joint. Their interior decorations are super cool. Food looked delicious though we only got coffee. Has been my favorite in New Orleans so far. Super friendly staff! There is minimal inside sitting space.
Love this place friendly staff and excellent doughnuts. I highly recommend all of them. But I think district really shines with the brown butter drop it is an amazing little fried ball of crispy sweet goodness. For coffee I like the shakerdo and iced mocha. There ice tea is also really good tastes like an iced Earl grey to me, I will check next time to see what tea they use. Do you your self a favor and stop by one of there locations sometime. And don't be discouraged by a long line it moves really quick.
Good oat milk latte, the matcha lemonade was bomb! Had the biscuit breakfast sandwich which was good and the gluten free blueberry glazed donut hole was awesome! The barista was super kind. I would come back
Just put in an Uber eats order and did not receive my 2nd sandwich.
This place was wonderful. The staff were very friendly (a must) and the ambiance was spectacular (have you seen the donuts?) I really loved their cold brew. I was able to drink it black it was so delicious. Highly suggest you stop. Don?t forget the chocolate chip sea salt cookie. Love this place!!!!!
I'm not always a fan of coffee shops where there is no indoor seating, since I like to hang around and read a book. Although, there is some outdoor seating for nice days. That being said, I love this place! The staff are knowledgable and friendly. They have interesting new drinks to try as well as the classics! Haven't tried any edible items yet but they look amazing!
ABSOLUTE WORST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! If your expecting a normal donut shop do not go here! I want to the location on magazine street which basically looked like a Starbucks with a few donuts in a plastic case to choose from. The donuts are expensive and all over $3 each, with weird flavor choices. The coffee was also way over priced for the size that you get. I got 3 donuts, a kolach and a cappuccino. The donuts tasted so bad that I ended up throwing them away! The chocolate had a strange flavor that le
Came for coffee & stayed for the (red velvet) donuts! Cute little cafe with really fresh donuts and icecream. Would highly recommend! 10/10
Small location, limited food options (mostly biscuits and kolaches), but great coffee, interesting donuts, and nice pretty girls. Open until 2 pm
My first time here and omgg it was AMAZING. From the Employees doing their best giving 100% DURING COVID19 to the donut and waffle fries i received. It was everything a guest , tourist or a Louisianan could want .I had a Glazed Donut the sugar didn't overpower the dough I also Whatever was sprinkled on the waffle fries was good EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
Great coffee and excellent cinnamon rolls. Staff was very friendly too!
Great donut shop. A bit expensive but for an occasional indulgence pretty good. The drink menu could be a bit easier to see and because they limit internal waiting with covid would be helpful to have an outdoor menu to peruse while waiting
Friendly staff, the donuts we're delicious especially the grasshopper, and caramel rum blondie. We discovered this place on our third day in and went back for each remaining morning as they mentioned that the donuts they make each day rotate out on a three day rotation.
These are not your average donuts but more of a gourmet pastries, they have a couple different options! Good prices, Solid cup of coffee... Looked like they had small sandwiches and draft beer also
Awesome coffee, awesome donuts, the staff is super nice. Faves are the cool brew, salmon kolache, and the brown butter donut. Note: it's a tiny place just to pick up treats to go.
Tiny bar area with no seating however super cozy and quality in all aspects. Best donuts I've had in New Orleans. Will surely be back. Coffee Nerd Approved.
The cold brew and iced latte we got were delicious! Small place but very popular, the pastries and donuts looked amazing but we didn?t try them this time.
The schedule says that they close at 9:00 and got there 20 minutes before 9:00 PM and we asked the guy at the counter to show us the doughnuts and he didn?t want it to show us the doughnuts he said just read what it says right there. We asked for decaf coffee and he said they didn?t have any. I ask my self what kind of service is that. Thanks District Doughnuts for a great customer service. 5-15-21
District is a great company. All of the locations are great. I really like this one because you can get in and out quickly. It is also walkable to other shops and Whole Foods. Great food and coffee
The gourmet donuts are like no other I have ever tasted. They even brew a great coffee. I will make a visit the next/ every time I am in town.
All the awesomeness of the main location in a convenient, compact shop. Sproca cola and the miso bacon biscuit are my fancy favs. Nice spots outside to sit and enjoy whatever tasty treat you get there.
Very bad judgement on their poor inventory. During a busy time with being on Mardi Gras route, they are ?Sold out? as they don?t care and don?t know any better how to provide for their customers. Can?t relay on them, don?t see a reason to give them any business after all.
Nice people. Very fancy looking donuts. Breading is dry, icing is plain, and in general low level of flavor. Colachies are small.
Small and homey place to hang out with your friend
The gluten free cake donuts are wonderful. Lemon poppyseed is heaven. I could eat these donuts daily. Go you will love it.
Super fun and unique donut flavors! Very nice staff! Homemade cinnamon roll was wonderful
It was absolutely the best donut I had ever eaten... I thought I had died and gone to donut heaven. I had the Vietnamese coffee donut. I think it would be worth a trip back to new Orleans just for this.
I wish I lived much closer, these donuts are sooooooo GOOD!
Dangerously good coffee and drinks, and obviously donuts. Unfortunate they stopped doing hand pies at this location, because now there are no buttery muffins, but most won't care because there are plenty of other treats.
So welcoming and yummy. Ethiopian coffee with oat milk and a jalape?o cheese kolache were great.
Best chicken biscuit!
Best donuts ever!!!!!!!!! Very creative and fun and a small business. If you?re in NOLA-get over there asap!
Great coffee options, yummy pastries, and really good breakfast biscuit, much better than what was being offered across the street.
Good donuts and good chocolate milk
Amazing staff and very delicious donuts, they were airy and delicious!
Delicious breakfast sandwiches, donuts and coffee. Fast and friendly service. Would definitely go again.
Always great. My go-to when I?m uptown.
Great selection of freshly made donuts everyday. Excellent coffee selection
Food was amazing!! Got the chicken sliders and i desperately needed a nap after. Best chicken in NOLA.
Saw the cinnamon roll on Pinterest. Tasted better than it looked. Will be visiting again soon
These donuts are insane!
Your donuts are DRY. They look beautiful but are always lacking in taste.
Rotation of original, imaginative, donut creations. Definitely worth doing AT LEAST once... If not weekly.
Oh hell yes. Brulee sugar set the cinnamon roll off. Wonderful cortado as well.
The worst donut place in the world donuts for glaze two dozen $42 it?s a shame in the donuts are stale please don?t waste your money
Vanilla latte with almond milk was fantastic!!!
Expensive, could do more to keep pastries fresh (cover them as opposed to leaving them in the open air).
Cute little spot! Good coffee and nice people. Great location.
Good service not so good donuts. Too much donut not enough icing.
Always a great experience. Best coffee and awesome staff!
I love the blt and avocado sliders. Boston creme donuts are on point.
Excellent coffee (proper cortados, Spanish style) and doughnuts.
The doughnuts are fantastic! Visit the one down the street for additional food options!
Everything is always good. If there is a line, it's well worth the wait.
These were some seriously good donuts. Not for the faint of heart.
Great coffee and AMAZING donuts and pastries!
Excellent coffee, very friendly, superb breakfast muffin.
Great selection of donuts. Very good
Cold prepackaged looking biscuit sandwiches, this place has gone down in quality
I liked it. My doughnuts were good.
