Dilly Donuts

Dilly Donuts

Reviews Summary

Dilly's Donuts receives mixed reviews, with many praising the friendly service, fresh donuts, and tasty kolaches, especially when warm. Positive highlights include fluffy donuts, good coffee, and reasonable prices. However, several customers complain about cold, stale, or reheated food, particularly kolaches and breakfast items. Service issues—like rudeness, incorrect pricing, and poor menu transparency—also surface. While loyal fans love the variety and quality, others find consistency lacking, with some vowing not to return due to disappointing experiences. The drive-thru convenience is noted, but availability issues frustrate some.

Customer Reviews

Got some donuts for my daughter?s class and they loved it! Lady at the drive-thru was so sweet! The ?filled bavarian donut? was also really good!

I go to Dilly?s donuts almost every morning on my way out the door. The donuts are already amazing but today I decided to try their iced coffee. The vanilla white chocolate iced coffee is so delicious. I thought about going back to get a second one. I will be back tomorrow morning for my second dose.

The presentation of the donuts looked slapped together but the taste is there. They heat up breakfast sandwiches with plastic wrapped around them which is releasing chemicals into the food. Nice people, love the drive though option, dining-in is nice, but if they lack knowledge about heating food in plastic, I?m not sure what else could be overlooked

Friendly and patient. Convenient drive thru. Especially when still in pj?s. Got there at 8:30am on a weekday. No line. I ordered two donuts, 1 small kolache, and one bacon egg cheese croissant, and two orange juices. The croissant is warm, flavorful and very filling. Donuts are on the smaller side than other near by donut shops but they?re good for the drive. The warm Small kolache was perfect for little one. Orange juice was mini 10 oz minute made oj bottles. Love that brand bc it?s smooth on the tummy. So

Schlumberger morning staple for donuts, tacos, and Kolache?s. Never disappoint , everything is on point, including the price. Lady?s are very prompt and friendly. Never had any hiccups with quality or service. Thank you for serving the community!

I waited 5 min at the intercom to only figure out I guess it?s not working. Place a sign that says drive to the window or something. My 6 year old and I waited 15+ min in line to finally get out order and they are out of everything I wanted. Finally I get donut holes and a croissant sandwich and it?s cold! Never had a had a sandwich from a donut shop and it?s cold. It always looked like they stuffed a half a sausage in the bread. I?ve been here a few times just because it was in route and convenient but it?

Skyler and Victoria, thank you for making our morning special! The kolache?s were fresh and the donut holes were sweet and warm and truly filling. Thank you Dilly Donuts team, y?all are AWESOME! ??

I want to start of by saying that we have always enjoyed Dilly?s. We usually go for dinner. This is only the second time I?ve gotten breakfast at the drive thru and the first time I only got donuts. I ordered a dozen barbacoa and egg tacos. The drive up menu has them priced at $30 a dozen. I thought that was a fair price. When I paid though, I noticed my receipt said $48 a dozen. I questioned the lady why the price was different and she said ?oh the prices have changed?. I replied ?well your menu out here d

The donuts were MASSIVE and they were fluffy inside with a nice fried crunch on the outside, with the glaze adding to the crunch. I never had that before with a cinnamon roll, and it was divine!

A coworker brought these to work for us. It was a mixed box of donuts. They were so delicious! I had a glazed and a frosted one. Both were fluffy, fresh, and light. I will definitely go in person to try other items on the menu.

Literally the worst donuts I have ever had. I kept going back and trying new things. It has all been lacking. Tacos are decent, but tini. Only thing I have found good on the menu is their vietnamese iced coffee. I gave 2 stars because the service has always been friendly and prompt. Very unfortunate that the donuts are as disappointing as they are. Donut is literally in the name. One star for food. 4 stars for service.

Ordered two kolaches on my way to work and they were both cold. I'm talking sausage been in the fridge type of cold. Minimal cheese in the sausage and cheese, and pricey. I don't mind paying a bit more than usual spots but give the quality of food to match it. 12 dollars for 2 kolaches and 2 bags of donut holes. Will not be going back. I tried it and it was just not for me or my family.

Tried it a few times but it?s never fresh. The sausage kolache is chewy, like when you bite it the skin pulls. Also barely any cheese in the kolache or actual jalape?os. Taste reheated or old. Also, driving around back the kitchen is nasty, as they clean the floors with the door open. Can?t imagine the flys. Better driving to Dear Donut Man on hwy 6 then this place.

Good glazed donuts, so good that I forgot to take a picture. The Jalape?o cheese Kolache was delicious, and so were the breakfast tacos. However, they didn't have the green salsa, which is my preferred favorite. However, the red salsa was okay . Overall I would recommend going there. The server today was super friendly and helpful with the order. I will definitely be returning and will remember to take pictures!

I always buy my donuts, croissants and kolaches here (because it?s close). But today I decided to buy a strawberry cream cheese croissant they had on their top shelf before checking out. It was the stiffest, old and stale croissant I have ever had. It was definitely a couple of days old. I don?t have time to go back, complain and have it replaced. Do better. God knows you?re spending cents to make these things. Keep everything fresh!

I Love this spot. I'm currently working my way throw the cold drinks in the new menu.

The baked kolache was excellent. If your taste buds fancy try the cream cheese jalapeno and sausage or the crawfish boudin variety.

We absolutely love getting breakfast here. We love the coffee, donuts, and kolaches, as well as the croissants and tacos too. As someone that grew up on Shipley's donuts, Dilly's is making it hard to go back to Shipley's!

10/10 recommend. Food is great quality and delicious. Donuts are big and fluffy. Hands down the best I've had. Coffee is perfect Great prices for great food. Way better than Shipleys

I came in this morning for their breakfast burritos and was not disappointed. They?re hot, fresh, and tasty; the sausage, egg, cheese are my favorite. The location makes them convenient if I need donuts, kolaches, or burritos for breakfast before training or a meeting.

Donuts are pretty good but a bit greasier than I like. Tacos are sweet. Espresso and cold coffees are way too sweet. They rarely wear masks and when they do, they don't put it over their noses. It makes me wonder what kind of short cuts they take with their cleanliness. I won't be returning.

The food is delicious and cheap. I compared their glazed donuts with Krispy Kreme?s, and Dilly?s are better and cheaper. My only complaint is that, when going through the drive through, sometimes some items aren?t there, but that is a common issue to all places with drive throughs.

I live in a nearby neighborhood and was excited when Dilly arrived! However, this restaurant has poor planning. Food is not made to order so you are left with choosing what is left. I went twice before 8:30 a.m ., and they were nearly out of breakfast tacos both times with literally two options to choose from. 1. Who wants a taco that has been sitting. 2. Why have a restaurant if you?re unable to make fresh orders. Don?t waste your time with this place! Same issue with the Donuts which are also always cold!

Delicious! I had a boudin with crawfish kolache. It was surprising good

The best customer service ever! Most donut shops I go to I?m just in and out and they just ask me what I want, but with Dilly?s they make sure I leave happy and always let me know what they think so should try! The place is also really nice inside and so clean. This is now my go to place before school or work! Victoria does such a good job!

This is one of my morning stops usually 2 days a week. The service is great, the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are very fresh. I also like that they will add the condiments to your coffee if requested.

Friendly & Great service and food! My kiddos favorite spot to stop on the way to school. My son had to stop in on his last day as a Senior!

Great donuts!! I've visited on 3 different occasions and every experience was pleasant. The place is always clean and organized. Each person I've encountered gave me an awesome customer service experience. The owner complimented my AT4 on my first visit; short convo but it shows you that he actually interacts with his customers. I had a conversation with 2 ladies working there today. I probably could've talked to them all day without being rushed off. They both are welcoming, kool and very down to eart

I ordered an egg and cheese croissants from this location and when I bit intonmy croissant, it was so cold and nasty. Can you imagine biting into a cold egg?! I tried calling them to let them know that I'm bringing it back before I get there and they don't even allow phone calls. I kept getting in contact with a smart messaging system. Smh

My husband and I LOVE Dilly Donuts! We?ve stopped by almost every weekend since they opened. Their donuts are amazing and their kolaches are irresistible. We especially love their crawfish boudain kolaches and seeing what fun new menu items they have. The staff are always incredible and kind.

They had cream cheese kolachi sort of thing, the sign said cream cheese, when i left & started to eat it was full of meat & cream cheese. I went back inside and I asked what?s inside the cream cheese, the lady replied bacon & sausage! I told her I don?t eat pork & your sign clearly stated cream cheese only! She just stared at me and said Ok. What if I was allergic to meat! I always support local businesses but will never go back there or recommend it to anyone else!

This is an okay donut shop with breakfast tacos, old fashioned donuts and Vietnamese coffee. Prices are a little high, but there is no other nearby donut shop so very convenient. Wait times are high in the morning as they have only a handful of cashiers.

I stayed with some friends for a few days. Dilly Donuts is very close, and I am very pleased to say they are some of the warmest people and best tasting donuts. Kolaches, croissants and etc. I have had the pleasure of meeting ??.

The younger blonde that works the drive through clearly dislikes her job , as her attitude customer service skills are extremely terrible. I truly hopes she finds a new profession that she enjoys doing instead of having an attitude with loyal paying customers early in the morning.God bless her.

I've been 3 times and have not been disappointed. I've had sausage kolaches, crawfish boudin kolaches, and a chorizo, potato, and egg taco. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. I'll definitely be a regular customer. The crawfish boudin kolache is outrageously delicious!

I waited about 10 mins at the menu box, nobody answered. So i pulled up to the window and still waited another 10 minutes, nobody answered. Went inside to order 2 glazed donuts and the donuts tasted like they had been sitting there. Also while i was insides someone else drove off from the drive thru. Need fresher food and more employees. Not happy at all.

The food was smackilicious, they have the courtesy to heat up kolaches and other foods before they serve. Delicious donuts, better than Shipley?s no lie!! Restaurant was very well kept and I believe it was near closing when I visited. Plenty of drinks available to choose from & did not have any issue with the variety of treats to choose from either! Server was very polite and friendly :) made my day

Not fresh. Stale donuts and the sausage inside the kolaches were hard as a rock. Not good at all. Such a disappointment!

Stopped here early to grab a few items. Had a cake donut with chocolate icing. The icing was a bit runny but pretty sure that was because the donut was so fresh, fine by me. Outside had a bit of crunch with a fluffy cake inside, yum! The blueberry cake donut was superb but my favorite was the old fashioned donut - so fresh and again crisp outside. I had a boudin and jalape?o sausage kolache. The sausage was excellent. I was helped by two, very polite teenagers behind the counter. I will be back to satisfy m

The donut holes shrunk in size and other breakfast items have changed.

This place ALWAYS serves, COLD, OLD donuts no matter the time, even at 6:30 am. Even my sausage kolache has always been cold and old each time I?ve come as if they recycle day old food. I will no longer patronize this business until they improve the quality of the food they serve if ever. I?ve visited sporadically since they opened, just to give them a fair shot before I posted this, and it never fails that the food is OLD, and COLD and this morning was the last straw for me. I?ve even asked if they had

I was so excited when a donut shopped opened across from my house. I love sausage and cheese kolaches. But this place does not mark their kolaches at all. Because every time I go here they give me the wrong kolache. I can?t have spicy food for medical reasons and this has happened several times.

Awesome options and great customer service. The eggs tasted like fresh eggs not egg whites or boxed. The smoothie was very tasty and filling. My daughters fav was the seafood boudain stuffed kaloche

Dilly?s donuts is very close to us so it?s fantastic to stop in for a quick brekkie taco or kolache or a pick me up. Its quick, the serv?s is friendly and food is inexpensive and good.

This donut shop runs out of the basics on a regular basis. If you stop by 10 am or after, good luck! They are literally around the corner from my house but I will not be going anymore because it?s a waste of time.

The customer service is terrible, there was a girl attending, I asked her for the things and they gave it to me reluctantly, it really made me angry, the donuts are good but more attentive with those who attend

My family and I are loyal customers to Dilly?s!!!! They have delicious donuts and amazing service! We love this place, give it a try you won?t be disappointed!!

They had nothing to choose from except a handful of donuts and just potato and egg tacos. It?s 7:15 am: I couldn?t even get a glazed donut or a chocolate iced donut. Seriously disappointed and not impressed with their poor planning. My boyfriend got the taco for at least something to eat and made it through 2 bites before throwing it out because it was so gross. Oh well.

Will let customers sit at the window and ignore them will they mop and take out trash. She turned off the lights and then finally came to the window and acknowledged me and said they didn?t have anything to sell me. You didn?t have to let me sit there for almost 10 minutes to tell me that.

Sat in line for 25min to have a rude kid working. Not worth the wait. Shirley's is way faster and friendly.

The people here are so kind! I love the seasonal offerings they have (try the pecan praline coffee) and my kiddos love the different donut selections they have! We visit at least once a week and I always try to remember to tell them how glad I am that they?re open! #teamDILLY

Their Strawberry donuts are to die for ! Wish this place was closer to my home. Great customer service by Victoria and good tasting donuts. Will definitely come back :)

We love our Iowa Colony donut shop! Thanks so much for being one of the first businesses at our exit! You can't go wrong with a croissant breakfast sandwich!

I have given this place enough chances to not want to come back. They don?t open as early as they say they do and they don?t have a lot to choose from when you come early. The bacon taste terrible, like dish soap. Kolaches are fine.

We had the Ham and cheese Kolaches and Strawberry Banana Smoothy. Kolaches were hot and the smoothies were so good! Fast and friendly service.

Breakfast tacos are very good with hot sauce. Donuts are tasty, they have shakes. And of course coffee, all great!!

My kids like their donuts and I like their breakfast sandwiches. My kids are real picky with their donuts. If they do not have one out, they typically will go make it. Great customer service.

Tried thier potatoes and egg breakfast taco. Very good and stuffed with the fillings. Now it's a must I have to try all thier breakfast tacos. So good ??.

Came in one morning to try out a new donut spot. I do-nut regret this decision, the donuts were spectacular. I'd recommend the cinnamon roll.

I went on a Sunday at 9am and oder 14 kalches and donuts, when I got home they were frozen cold and hard and nasty, I'm not going back, head's up if you guys are going to keep buying there! Check your stuff!

Local donut shop with the best donuts and kolaches. Love the food! Love the service!.. so glad to have them as our shop around the corner

Kolaches and tacos good, donuts so-so. Good customer service and convenient drive-thru.

My children love to come here and get breakfast tacos. Staff is always friendly and the food is reasonably priced.

The staff is always so friendly. The donuts are amazing! The smoothies are so good. Love this place!

Love the breakfast sandwiches and my daughter loves the smoothies. I wish they would bring back the feta cheese spinach wrap??????????

Amazing jalape?o kolaches and they have Vietnamese iced coffee. Worth the wait in the drive thru on a busy morning.

10/10 Bacon, egg & cheeses croissants are the absolute best!!! Also tried the donut holes! Recommend 10 out of 10

The donut was weird as hell the icing and sprinkles smelled like they were full of chemicals the actual donut was hard to tear apart I also got a sausage and cheese kolatchi I smelled the bag which smelled like a fish being cleaned then I took it out and smelled the actual kolatichi which smelled like a wet dog combined with a fish being gutted didn't even bother to put it in my mouth really gross and not worth the money

Love this place. We come here almost every Friday. Cute, clean and the tacos/ kolaches are bomb!

Great service and the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are yummy! Definitely will be our go to donut place!

Food was so good my toes were curled the whole time, but the cashier was kinda rude to me. I think her name was like vicky or something.

Purposely selling old food.

Went on Christmas morning to get some breakfast last minute. They were just so nice! Excellent customer service!

The young ladies inside were very nice as they always are. I always get this fetta spinach thing that is delicious

The elderly man is rude and.I?m female and goes there every morning and was on the line and he has the audacity to skip me and serve some men and when I told him he acted like he did not anything.Lost a loyal customer

Cant speak on anything else they have ..... Ive only tried the apple fritter..... And its the hands down best ive ever had...

Just stopped here and already finished my donut. Delicious! Super nice staff

2nd time going there, and the bacon egg and cheese tacos are delicious

Crawfish boudin was really good, it's a nice and cozy donut shop

The croissants and kolaches are great. The staff is friendly and attentive

Always fresh, fast, and tasty. So glad they?re in our neighborhood.

Really good place it's open really early in the morning to get a quick snack before going to work.

Ok spot. Close to 288 but they?re out of usual stuff like strawberry icing donuts

everyone is always so nice , best breakfast tacos & donuts ?? !!!

Good selection... possibly the BEST apple fritter I've had.

Like this place when I go on Monday and Saturday as I drive up to the Prison unit Memorial unit

The best donuts!! Fresh every morning!! Love these guys!

Love everything they have!! Met both owners and they are so kind.
