First and most importantly the donuts are fantastic. But the presentation! They are so well crafted and they just ooze deliciousness. The mini donuts are a nice touch too if you want to try the different types but don't want to commit to a whole donut. The staff is so lovely and the place is very cozy. I will definitely be back.

This shop is wonderful! I tried it after Yelp put it in the top 25 doubt shops in the US recently. The donut selection is very good with creative recipes that are fantastic! What a lovely little place that offers such great service, wonderful coffee, and delicious doughnuts! We stopped in before the eclipse madness and took our goodies home. The cr?me br?l?e doughnut, apple fritter, pistachio matcha, and fig mascarpone were all fantastic!! If I lived in Dallas I would be fatter than already am since I would stop here at least weekly. I can't believe I've never been to this place and it has been open for years... Took donuts to work, and my colleagues were over the moon for them. The donuts are a little bit on the pricy side since they are all hand decorated. Ended up cutting them into smaller pieces so everyone can try a different flavor. My favorite is the Creme Brule by far. My colleagues asked me to bring the fancy donuts again for the next team meeting.

Popped into Detour Doughnuts & Coffee before going to get my nails done at CharmLux. First time at Detour and took the suggestion of Honey Lavender Hot coffee and the Granny Smith Apple Fritter. Both were amazing! Staff was super helpful and friendly. The place was adorable. Totally recommend!

Got donuts here yesterday at 8am. I had one old fashion cinnamon donut, 1 very small apple fritter and 2 donut holes, the donut holes tasted burnt. By 11am my stomach was in knots, by noon, I felt nausea and by 1pm, sour burps and feeling like I was going to vomit so ended up making myself throw up to try to stop the pain in my stomach. Not just another donut shop! Do not pass up this cozy little gem. The creativity in the donut flavors and decoration (super mario bros. donuts) is unique as well. The coffee selection is good as well. Today I ordered a Creme Pie donut, Fig and Marscapone donut and Brown Butter Cinnamon Roll with a hot Golden Lavender Latte. The Coconut Creme Pie donut was so light with a whipped filling that was not too sweet. I didn't really taste the lavender in my latte but it was still good and I'd order it again.

I had the best donuts in Frisco at this shop. they were delicious and fresh. They had plenty of options to choose from, but the creme brulee was my favorite. Plus the girl that served me was the sweetest ever. 10/10

Go to spot for gourmet donuts. They make creative and delicious yeast donuts, cake donuts, and tea as well. They also serve various coffees, sausage rolls, fritters and breakfast tacos from tacodeli. They have a great seasonal selection and each donut is artfully done even down to crushed nuts or cookie crumble for texture. There cake donut game has improved over the last year. My dental hygienist shared this one with me. They said these were best donuts around! Could be just a bad month for me, but they didn?t have any that WOW?d me. Our new go-to Doughnut shop! Its a hike for us (30 miles each way) but absolutely worth it. You can tell each and every doughnut is made with love here. The flavours are out lf this world! Detour has been on my list of donut places to visit for years now, and I finally made the drive up! Tried the mini cr?me br?l?e and dirty chai doughnuts. So glad they had the mini size because one single full-size donut is really big! Love the filling for both! Worth the hype, will make the drive back to try other flavors!

There are doughnut shops everywhere in North Texas and Detour is by far the best out here! The creativity, the artistry of these doughnuts- a true party in your mouth. The February coconut lime was tart and sweet, with the perfect added texture of coconut slices on the top. Love the cr?me br?l?e donut. And the apple fritters were a delicious, easy snack to munch on a car ride! Friendly staff introduced everything thoroughly! Can?t wait to return for the drinks as well.

Stopped by this place on a whim and I am so glad I did. I got the tiramisu donut which had an amazing ganache on top and a lite but tasty filling. I also got the peppermint chocolate cake donut and it was fantastic. The peppermint wasn't too hard and the flavor paired really well with the donut. Will be back!!

Nice selection of specialty doughnuts and fantastic customer service. Prices were about as high as you could get a doughnut but thats to be expected considering the area. The place is very small so if it's more than just two people I would say go for pick up and eat elsewhere. Not a huge selection of coffee but what they do have is good. I will return and try some more options soon. For reference I paid 12 bucks for one specialty coffee and one filled doughnut including the tip.

I LOVE Detour! Their donuts are the literal best. I make sure to always get their new donuts from month to month. The staff are super nice and they alone make me want to go in more. The donuts here are so creative and I appreciate that more than the sometimes questionable combinations lol. It's a fun place to go periodically to try a new seasonal treats and some of which should be framed. We thought the blueberry goat cheese was a major success, and others like chocolate wasabi, or beet and ricotta we're worth trying to say you've tried!

BEST DONUTS IN USA - I've tasted donuts across the country, including those from legendary shops in Portland, OR, and the donuts from Detour Doughnuts and Coffee rank at the TOP! It all starts with the dough. Crispy exterior with a tender, squishy interior. It's the perfect texture. The dough's flavor is mild and lends itself as a solid foundation for the filling/topping. What I love about Detour Doughnuts it the variety and creativity. So many different unique flavors to choose from- definitely uncommon

All were amazing but my favorite was the salted caramel apple and cookies and cream.

I recommend the lemon lavender. So good. A little cramped inside, but they move the line fast. Great coffee options too. Highly recommend. Uniquely inventive donuts using patisserie dough recipes. Chef does great work! Amazing creations like cinnamon cardamom, everything bagel donut, fig & mascarpone, ube, strawberry donuts, and more monthly creations. Their drinks are made fresh in house using real fruit, vegetables, and flowers the morning of. If they offer a limeade, you can bet it has dozens of fresh limes in it and was prepared that morning.

Stopped by to check this place out, the donuts we got were great. The apple fritters were especially great. They are on the pricey end but that's expected with specialty donuts. All of the staff was masked as well
