I ordered through a delivery service and my coffee was still cold and not watered down upon arrival. The sausage, egg, and cheese croissant was good, croissant tasted flaky and fresh. The cinnamon twist was good, but could use more cinnamon flavor. Will definitely order from here again.
Went to Delightful Donut ?? looking for Apple Fritters and ended up buying a dozen mixed. EVERY DONUT was fantastic. Frozen Frappes, Croissant ?? , and Kolache?s with sausage too! DON?T SLEEP ON DELIGHTFUL DONUT!
Had to stop here and try it out. Veteran Owned. Specialty Donuts, Kolaches and Coffee. For a small mom and pop shop they are doing way better than DD. My kids had the spinkle Donuts. The Blueberry Cake Donut was delicious. I agree with the other Local Guide Kimberly Crouch. The Spicy Boudin Kolache is genius! I already have HEB Boudin with everything! Loooooove love this spot! Fresh donuts, precious little building with a cozy vibe! Take your book or laptop and grab some goodies but sis do NOT skip the iced coffees!!! They take their time making them and boy is it worth it. ?? I got the salted caramel iced coffee, highly recommend! Thank y?all so much. ??
Finally decided to try it on a Sunday. It was 11:45am and the sign on the door said open sundays till 1:00pm The girl had the door locked and said it was closed. There was other people getting there to trying to get donuts. Guess we will never know how good they are.
I prefer this place over some of the more known chain donut restaurants. Tastes way better ??
I have tried Kolaches before, but never like this spinach one. Flavor was AMAZING!!
It is a great neighborhood donut shop. Friendly service and delicious donuts. The is price is fair for 2022. We got a dozen different donuts and none of them disappointed.

Delightful Donut 2 is THE place to go to when you want donuts!!! They are absolutely delicious! I stop by often to get a dozen or two for work. I guess I?ve been there so much now that the owners know I have to have several blueberry donuts included in the mix! The owners are so pleasant! The girls that work there are nice too! You will NEVER go back to Dunkin? Donuts or Shipley?s!! I promise.
Their doughnuts are those most delicious and seriously the best tasting. Sweetness is to perfection. Staff is so wonderful.

Our family has a tradition of donut Fridays and we are so delighted that we found Delightful Donut! ??????We used to go the their other location, but we are so glad they opened this second one. Perfect location, the owner is so nice and their donuts are fresh always. Definitely the BEST DOUGHNUTS in town!

If you have not had a donut from this Veteran Owned donut shop You're missing out on the freshest donuts in town. The kolaches are in a category all by themselves. Many different varieties to choose from. Hot, fresh and delicious, the staff is very friendly. This is just an all around great place to try.
First visit - Parking is ample. Place is clean. Prices are good to go for me. The spicy sausage croissant was delightful indeed. Bonus for me, seeing the Marine Corps flag. The home of the free, who may freely eat delightful doughnuts, thanks to the brave!
I came here mainly to try the coffee. I had the Vietnamese coffee. Highly recommend it. It is a strong coffee if that is what you are looking for. It was well balanced with all the ingredients. Service was great and friendly staff.
My favorite go-to for my weekend breakfast Uber splurge. Their donuts are so airy and yummy. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I love love their cold brew. It?s affordable even when I utilize Uber Eats. Try it for yourself!
I love this place! The doughnuts are the perfect mixture of doughy and airy, just the right amount of sweet. The sandwiches are great! Everyone is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They also support other small businesses. I highly recommend this place!

Nice little donut shop, was a little disappointed on the limited type of donuts. I'm used to a wide variety of unique donuts. However, the donuts they do have we're delicious and my wife really loved her ham, egg, and cheese croissant; which was described as fresh and authentic, definitely not frozen. Will likely return

Veteran own. They are always friendly. Most of all. Fresh awesome donuts. You have to go early to get the cake donuts. They tend to sellout. They have a good selection of the other donuts, too.
Mesa and April have the absolute BEST donuts in all of San Antonio, since their beginning at their original store near Potranco and Filmore streets. I will drive the 9 miles from my house to this location just to get some of their "old fashioned" cake donuts (my favorite). Their jalapeno cheese kolaches are also a wonderful breakfast favorite. Today was my first visit and I was impressed. Service was great and owners genuinely care. Their donuts are absolutely delicious. The vanilla taste like vanilla, cinnamon taste like cinnamon and the dough is fresh and soft...all day! A must try in San Antonio!
My wife and I visited this shop for the first time today. I ordered the boudin kolaches and tasted just like authentic boudin like you would get in Louisiana! Great food, great ppl and a great environment.
I like a good ol' plain glazed donut. These are worth the drive out of your way. My husband really like Krispy Cream donuts but I don't like that dissolve in your mouth texture they have. I like a donut that has a tall build up from the proofing process, and they is fluffy delight to chew. If you like that, too, Go here. I usually don't get there until about closing and miss out on the extravagant donuts so get there early if you want the fancier donuts. Those are also really good. Oh, they add your flavor

I've been here every Friday morning since this shop opened. Excellent service and the best doughnuts and kolaches I've ever had. I would highly recommend the croissant sandwiches! Very nice owners and employees
