Great donuts. New owners have cleaned the place up and it?s nice to sit there and eat now. Prices are reasonable too. $8 for coffee bagel and donut. The lady there always gives me an extra donut hole with my donut.
What an unfortunate downturn of quality that this shop has went through. The last time I visited this shop was several years ago. We ate our delicious donuts at the shop, took home some sandwiches to enjoy at our hotel room. Having saved this as a favorite, I was extremely disappointed to find the shop in such disarray. No more seating, front fridges are used for storing ingredients, our filled donuts came without filling .. in any case, I don't imagine this shop to stay open for much longer; at least not u

We got Jalape?o bagels and it was bone dry and it didn?t help that there was barely any cream cheese.

I can not express how amazing this place is. I am not from California, and I do not eat donuts all that often. However, the donuts are so light when you eat them. I also had a breakfast sandwich, which was beyond amazing. I did not write this review off of going there a couple of times, but more than a couple of times. Best donuts in the area. The apple fritter is next level! The glazed are perfect texture with the right amount of flavor. I can?t say enough how great this place is. My only issue is they microwave their eggs. Their sandwiches are good don?t get me wrong, but it?s just not the same as frying the eggs.
This place has the absolute best Croissants in the east bay. But when you ask for a breakfast sandwich beware of who is making it. They don?t have standards and the young lady that made my sandwich today destroyed the sandwich. They added a ton of black pepper and packed the croissant so right in paper that it essentially squeezed all the air out of the sandwich as if the goal was to make it as compact as possible. This place used to be amazing. Looks like the shop switched owner/operators. It's a mess inside with a seating area used as storage. Not nearly as clean as it used to be and people working are not able to understand and take your order correctly even after they confirm it with you. I ordered an egg sandwich but the croissant tastes like rotten eggs so they also couldn't keep the goods taste same way. Such a shame that this business went downhill after changing operators. Best place in the area! The owner is very nice and friendly. Tasty sandwiches and donuts - they're always fresh and hot. Coffee made fresh daily, and you can really tell the difference. The breakfast sandwiches are so good and healthy. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The young lady at the register was awful. She was condescending rude and I understand covid-19 protocols, but good Lord. After I excitedly placed my order she told me to wait outside, the only thing she said was she bring the order out to me, which was fine. After I waited 10 minutes my order with incorrect. Initially found out about it on Doordash but found out I could get there on my scooter (can't feel my right side of my body from a hemmoragic stroke in 2016). They have a 5 star rating in the delivery app for taking care of their customers and having awesome service AND delicious food! My personal favorite is a breakfast sandwich on croissant. ?? I've been there in person and had it delivered. Awesome! They took care of this cranky old man and made me smile. ??

Absurdly expensive & highly overrated. I?m being generous with my 3 stars, but my visits (tried 3x over the course of the last month) have all been totally disappointing. I?ll use todays experience as the most recent (& the last?) example. Came a little before 11am on a Tuesday, & the selection was solid, which was encouraging. I bought 3 donuts: ube cake w/ crumbles (Ube, or purple yam, is a fave of mine), strawberry glazed old-fashioned, & a custard filled chocolate glazed donut. 3 donuts, $6.50. Wow?$2+
This is my favorite donut spot. Everytime I bring their donuts to work (or my clients), they're highly praised. Everyone loves donuts, but these guys make it feel like mom made them for you. Ironically enough, my favorite items on their menus are the breakfast bagels. If I ever skip the donuts to watch what I eat, the bagels/sandwiches are hand-made and start my day off great. Bacon, ham, egg, avocado, tomato, sriracha...they have something for everyone.
Place was messy, they should clean up so that folks can sit and eat, it looks like a go down. Earlier this place was pleasant to sit with nice tables. Prices are too high. Breakfast sandwich was good.
I went to this place every morning when I worked out there. They might be under new management tho. They offer the BEST breakfast sandwiches and bagels in Alameda County, IMO. Whenever I go out there, I stop and get me a jalape?o bagel, egg and sausage with extra jalape?os. Thanks
Looks like new ownership. Prices are higher quality is nowhere near what I was used to from here. The storefront is a mess and it was very hard to communicate. Not going back there again. Too bad I used to go here regularly but they do not operate the same way anymore.
Hate to give a place 1 star as I went strictly for bagels. I will say it looked like they have a good selection of doughnuts and they looked good. As far as bagels...stopped in at roughly 9:30am and saw they had this really small case for bagels. They had half a dozen? Plain, couple sesame (but I could only get 1 as the other was reserved (?wth) and a couple jalapeno. Bagels were store bought I'd swear. They were not good. If you're going for bagels this ain't your place

I think this placed changed ownership recently. I went in and ordered a breakfast sandwhich and it was not the same. Not as much flavor and the eggs were not as fluffy.
