We come here almost every Sunday before going to church. They have a wide selection of kolaches, donuts, croissant sandwiches, muffins, etc. That's just the food selection don't get me started on the wide variety of drinks they have as well, from cold to hot. It's a great place to take the kids and watch their eyes light up at the display of fun donuts that have candy or themed donuts for the nearest holiday. I used to go to this location weekly when I was pregnant with my daughter and now she's 12 years old. 12 years later Dear Donut Man - Alvin is her favorite spot for breakfast! My kids ask to go multiple times a week. The food is always delicious, service is quick, but most importantly all of the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

I would like to say the donuts and coffee here are good. But not good enough to be treated so poorly.Sadly, though I believe the older woman in the shop is a little rude with customers. I witnessed her grab an older man?s card out their hand with agitation and she?s also giving me a lot of attitude when not hearing orders correctly. I won?t say this will stop me from going to the shop for now but I would like to see her a little bit more nicer with the customers that are paying for service.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Old lady was so rude and they were mopping under my feet at 12:30 when they close at 1PM!!! & they where kicking us out turning the lights off and saying they had to come home. Seriously consider coming here.

My favorite donut shop in Alvin! I love their lattes ? (iced is yummy too). Definitely worth a try, they have a huge selection and there's something for everyone. My favorites are the sausage and cheese kolaches, maple donuts ?? and cream cheese danishes! They recently renovated their Alvin location and there's another location in Manvel. There's a few tables to dine-in and there is a drive-thru too. Give it a whirl! You won't regret it!

Always love coming here when getting donuts. But today we ordered 18 kolaches, and 18 donuts for my son?s school Christmas party. We paid about $50 total for those. Right as we were about to leave the woman who checked us out said she forgot to charge us for the donuts boxes. We had to pay another $10. If I would?ve known we were going to be charged for the boxes I would?ve just had everything bagged. I was in a rush to leave so I wasn?t able to question the charge but just an FYI.

This is so far my best donut shop. Their blueberry cake is the best. By the way, everything that I have tried is phenomenal.

I love this place the people are great. Vietnamese coffee is my goto along with the boudin kolache.

I've been a customer here since they've been in Alvin. The best thing I can say is to NEVER order after noon, if you don't want to be disappointed. Availability is understandable but the donut cases get cleaned as early as 12:30 and donuts go in the trash while customers are still present. Good luck out there. I'm learning the hard way that most of the things they offer aren't as exclusive as I once thought.

The quality of their bacon egg and cheese biscuits/ croissants is amazing for the price.

They are almost always out of cinnamon cake donuts and that is #1 reason I go there. I guess that is because they make the best Cinnamon cake donuts in Alvin. The bacon maple is quite delicious as well.

This place is a great local spot! Their spinach kolaches are fantastic and they have really fun assortments of donuts (circus cookie, cereal, bacon eclair, etc). They are super nice! Definitely recommend!

Went through the drive thru this morning to grab a coffee and breakfast, haven?t been to dear donut man in a year, and saw they offer iced coffee now. When i pulled up to the window, i asked to be sure they could make an iced caramel macchiato, to which LISA replied ?we make it all the time? brushed off her rude attitude and said ?okay can i get that?? I was disappointed when I received the cinnamon roll through the drive thru. This is just a huge donut. It has NO cinnamon about it!

The only donut joint I eat at in town. My favorite is the ham and cheese kolache. They have many other donut and kolache options.

We've been here several times because we live close and it's convenient. Unfortunately, after several times of not being super impressed with the customer service and the coffee, and with our experience today, we will not be coming back to this establishment. A friend of ours told us that Dear Donut Man gives you donuts on your birthday. I thought it would be fun for the morning of my sons birthday. We walked in the door planning to order coffee and food for our other kids and us and my 13 year old son was going to get his birthday donut too. The owner was very rude because my son didn't have an I.D. We don't need free donuts...we did it to be fun and also support your business. We are headed to Bonnie's donuts now. Thanks!

Seems like they have everything. My daughter wanted a chocolate donut with sprinkles. My son wanted a purple donut with sprinkles, but they didn't have that. He graciously accepted pink instead. But that's not DDM's fault. It's because my son is a little strange. We're working on it.

First impression was great! Clean establishment, awesome variety of doughnuts as well as breakfast items; crossionants, tacos, danish and kolaches. I had the spinach crossionant and a vietnamese hot coffee, yum ??!!! Drive through is a plus and the staff were pleasant. I will definitely return soon!!!

I placed a large order for my company's Wednesday morning breakfast and picked it up on time and just as I ordered. The Brisket & Boudin kolaches are the only kolaches that I have tried but they are excellent. I look forward to trying more. I would suggest a jalapeno popper kolache and/or a bacon cheddar kolache. Foods good, all the employees I?ve met are super rude. Little overpriced. Always takes 10 minutes to get 3 donuts. Nothings available 2 hours after open except for plain glazed. Not a good experience any of the times I?ve been. Shipleys has yet to do me wrong

Excellent locally owned donut shop. Donuts and kolaches are both very good. Their coffee is what elevates them over some of their competitors. They've put a lot of money into it and make great coffee and espresso. Service is good.

Great kolaches freshest donut holes in town and you can get half a dozen kolaches for less than $10 or a full dozen for 17.99 So much better than the competition close around.

Donuts, great best I've had. service not soo good. I go once a week for the last 2 yrs Donut holes and I'm sure ladies work at the counter there see me and everytime I go they act as though it's the first time they've seen me. Nearly every Friday morning in the school year, I take my daughters to go get donuts at Daylight Donuts. Sure the town has many choices as far as donut venues go, but we like the selection at Daylight and most importantly the awesome employees. One of my favorite things is to walk into a place and be recognized by the workers. At Daylight, I am usually greeted by Andy with a "Hey guy." Awesome way to start the day.

I've been coming here for the past 6 years. The owner knows my son by name and makes a point to talk to him at every visit. The brisket kolaches are awesome. Daylight is our 1st choice for donuts.

I have read so many glowing reviews we went this morning. I was looking at the Kolaches to decide what size I wanted and there were several flies on the Kolaches in the case! I told the woman waiting on us and she waved them off, not bothered by it at all. My husband got two anyway and said they were good.

Business hours state that this location opens at 4am. At almost 5 am there is absolutely no product available for purchase other than croissants. At the point of no product being available there need to be a change in scheduling or in business hours.

Omg. Just bit into the brisket kolache.. THE BEST KOLACHE I HAVE EVER HAD IN ALL MY YEARS!! I am always a fan of sausage and cheese... haven?t tried these yet... still enjoying the brisket one... but I believe I will be a new regular for this brisket kolache!! Hands down best kolache ever!! Croissant was premade and heated up in the microwave. The service was good as well as the donut.

There is a cream cheese and cherry strudel here to die for!! The waiter at the window was amazing. She served our cappuccinos and kolaches with a smile and a savings card for both my sister and myself. The kolaches are amazing!! Much better than Shipley's and I went back to visit but they were closed over the Christmas holidays. (Could not help but attempt to test and see if they were there!!) This is my first choice when I return from Canada to get kolaches. Congrats on an amazing product!

I've know these people my whole life, they gave us donuts when we worked across from it at access internet cafe Many years ago. Everyday as a kid I'd run over at close and they would give me a box they were ghrowing out anyways, never asked for anything. Said if I ever wanted some just go by at the time, and they would gladly give them to me. You guys rock, keep it up.

Dear Donut Man, my younger sister is absolutely obsessed with y?all. She went away for college a year and half ago. Every time she comes back to Alvin she HAS to get her ham and cheese kloches and a white monster. I know y?all have expanded to different locations. Perhaps you should consider expanding to Huntsville tx. It?s a college town and y?all would make lots of money and fulfill her obsession for Dear Donut Man.

My daughters and I made it a date of ours to come every other thursday morning for breakfast. The kids enjoy the donuts and I enjoy the clean tables and their smiles.

This is literally the greatest donut shop I've ever seen and it's also the cutest. It puts Shipley's to shame. Food is 69/10, would (or should I say WILL) eat here again ??
