when I called to tell them they were so nice and offered a full refund. But I didn?t take it I was just happy they offered it. But looks can be deceiving. I thought I was about to have a good breakfast. They ran out of Sausage rolls at 9 AM. The coffee was cold. My ham, egg and cheese croissant had no egg in it so it was basically a ham and cheese sandwich warmed up in the microwave with a croissant. I'm actually glad the drive-thru line was long because it made me go inside. I went in to get a dozen mixed donuts. Unlike other shops, they let you choose both rings and filled. At first, they tried to give me half a dozen glazed and a couple of rings?no cake donuts at all. I asked them to mix it up more and include a little of everything you're allowed to get in a dozen. Made substitutions on my online order without notifying me. ????? Whole online ordering was kinda different to navigate in general. Menu items didn't match what the business actually offered. Wasn't horrible though.

The staff were friendly but the doughnuts are not cooked properly. I don't know what they do but it affects the quality. A doughnut should not be soft and round on one side while being crunchy and blown out on the other. It looks like a muffin that couldn't rise and gave up. Disappointing

I have already seen multiple reviews on the rude girl who works in the morning and she is still there!!! This location is the most convenient to me and open early which I love but the customer service is awful. She is beyond rude !!! Every single time you come. You can tell she just hates her job. I come at 530 every morning I come and there's never any apple fritters or reg donuts just cake. Again more laziness and poor customer service.

Edit: no masks, no social distancing, and they had the donuts sitting out in the open air next to the register so every customer had to stand directly over the tray of donuts. Literally the dumbest thing I have ever seen. This would not pass inspection not during a pandemic. Will not be back. So sad, we really liked this place. Fantastic donuts and great service. I went at 10:00 on Saturday, they had every donut you could think of on display with wonderful nice sweet and kind workers. They still had sausage rolls too! I ate inside with my daughter, lovely experience.

This was the ideal Daylight Donut! In town for a baseball tournament...Walked in and it was super busy but you could not tell as any person that walked up to the case was greeted and helped. I believe I saw the owner come from the back and get his hands dirty. That to me made this experience worth every bit of a 5 star!!! i walked about 15 mins ago and the lady who cashed me out had the biggest attitude, every questioned i had asked she sighed to multiple times she did not make me feel welcome and she seemed very annoyed with her job. i?m sorry but if you hate your job that much then maybe you need to look into finding a new one that doesn?t involve customer service, because she obviously doesn?t know how to be in the place with customers. i work in customer service and that was the most degrading thing i could?ve ever exper

i?ve never been to another donut shop with a slower drive thru. i come here every friday because it?s on the way to my kids daycare and it?s ALWAYS the same, even if there are just 3 cars in the line. I was the third car in line today and I was waiting for 10 minutes. it?s honestly ridiculous. editing to add, this is the only daylights location i?ve had issues with.

I don?t understand why the drive thru line is so slow. Then when we got our food noticed the sausage rolls have half the breading they used to. Prices seem up and quality is down. There are better places to go for sure!

I'm extremely disappointed in my visit today. I'm wondering if maybe they have a new owner? The donuts seemed slightly stale, the filling was very watery and the coffee was vile. This used to be my go-to place for real coffee not full of chemicals and sugar but now it tastes like the coffee came out of a store brand carton. Also their price signage is incorrect or they overcharged me, no receipt was given but the charge was way too high for three donuts and a coffee.

Bought a dozen of half plain and half chocolate glazed and 6 sausage rolls. Almost 30 dollars. The sausage rolls were good but the donuts were dry. And the left over one's were not even worth eating. The sugar melted through the bottom of the box. There was no chocolate left on the chocolate glazed one's. I have never had donuts do this. Will not be going back to this one.

The donuts are not good quality. They tasted old and undercooked. There were bites that tasted like it was not fully cooked. There was hardly any glaze on the donuts. Very disappointing. Also, one of the employees in the cooking area wore flip flops, which is against code.

I've probably been here a total of 10 times in the last year and 8 of those times they were out of what I wanted. I would say you have to get there when the place opens, but did that a couple weeks ago and they didn't have anything ready besides cake donuts. The donuts are "decent" at best. The sausage rolls seem really good when they have had them. Place is nice and the employees have always been nice. But very very busy so expect things to not be there and a long wait.

I will not buy from them anymore. We have come here for years and recently they have gone downhill. I was shorted two doughnuts yesterday morning and wanted to get a bear-claw for my daughter. I don?t usually give written reviews but this place is absolutely fantastic and deserve one! This Location is spotless and the staff is so friendly! I love taking my grandson here on the weekends and every time I pre-order something for the office it?s hot and ready when I get there, even if I call in on short notice or to move the time up. I would love to give them 5 stars, but they frequently have a drive thru line that takes over 10 minutes to get through. I'd love to see them have more people working the drive thru instead of one person taking the orders and getting the food. They are frequently out of donuts and the ladies working all seem overworked and upset. They have the best sausage rolls and great food but their service is what lacks the most.

I picked up donuts from here today and they were good. The reason for my three star is because of the Way employees talk to each other. There was a girl with brown hair in a ponytail working her butt off and she let her other coworker with long black hair know that they were out of sausage rolls and her response was ?sounds like a you problem?. That?s just not how you treat people and as a customer it was really awful for me to hear something like that.

The service was great people are nice clean place but the sausage rolls are terrible?. The bread tastes like corn dog bread which is not how it?s supposed to be made no sweetness to the bread at all and tasted kinda stale also. I will be back though I just hope they improve the recipe. I enjoy our little donut shop. Staff is always sweet, and quick. They usually have what I ask for in stock. Since they can't predict what people buy or in what quantities they will buy it in, I don't hold it against them if they run out of sausage rolls. Their donuts are just as good!

No one had on mask at all. For this location which I drove 25 minutes out of my way to try to be so huge, the selection was not great at all. The donuts were hard and tasted dry/crusty. The dough on my sausage roll was not okay, tasted like Pizza dough and crackers and it was way too thin and crunchy. Very disappointed in my attempt to try and support a new business. Will not return.

Came by at 5:27 am. Not open. Understand things happen and open a little late, but that is out of my window to make it to work on time.

I have been in there twice now at 6:30 when they open at 5:00 and there are no donuts. NONE! Not because they sold out , but because they didn?t have them made yet! Quick service, but it's hard to catch the employees in a good mood and they almost never have a good selection of donuts or other products. We've also had the displeasure of getting expired milk from their cooler on more than one occasion.

I've been here a few times, slow drive-thru service. Dry donuts which I suspect were leftovers. Sausage roll with the crust unraveling. To top it off I ordered a plain sausage biscuit and was given two small microwaveable store bought biscuits. Will try it again at some point and see if there is any improvement. First and last time visiting this daylight donuts. I was 4th in line at the drive-thru and it still took almost 20 minutes to get to the window. If that wasn't bad enough, they got my order wrong as well. Ordered chocolate cake donuts and received regular donuts with chocolate icing. Furthermore, the breading around the sausage roll was hard and bland. Too many great donut places in the area to put up with this.

The worst donut shop I have ever been to. The donuts are always dense, the glaze is melty and weird. They use weird bread for their sausage rolls, and the staff is ALWAYS rude. I tried them a few times because they are the closest one to me but never again.

The girl in the drive thru was very friendly. They didn't have as many sausage rolls as I needed at the time but said I could wait for a few minutes and it would be no problem. Very accommodating and just all around friendly.

Their food is very good! Especially the sausage rolls. The problem I have is their hours say they open at 5:00AM but I have been there at least a dozen times in the last couple of months at 5:10AM and they are not open yet and if they are they don't have things ready, one time they had no sausage rolls ready, one time no bear claws, one time no maple bars etc etc. it's about 2 miles out of my way to go by here in the mornings on my way to work, which is no big deal as long as they are open.

So tasty! Their donuts taste very fresh. They have about a dozen different filings for the jelly donuts and fill on request. There is a nice seating area inside and a drive thru. Get there early on a weekend. It gets super busy around 8:30.

I love the staff there. I've been so many times they know me. My daughter loves all of the cool character "specialty doughnuts" they do a great job and doughnuts are always great. They also have sausage rolls. Spicy or plain.

The worst daylight donut in the state!.The lead girl for the drive thru is so rude!! You pull up (after 10:00 wait) the girl will open the widow and turn and gossip with coworkers and not greet you just stick her head out (like what the hell do you want). Then get your order wrong! The donuts and sausage rolls seem to be yesterday?s. When is Daylight Donut Corporate going to recognize that the unacceptable performance reflects on other Daylight Donut franchises. Do not use these pretenders!!

I would recommend going in, as they get quite a line for the drive thru after 8:30AM. It is well worth the wait though. In addition to donuts they also offer hot foods such as sausage rolls, sausage egg and cheese biscuits, as well as biscuits and gravy. They also have a fancy coffee machine serving espresso and cappuccino.

The donuts are good with a pretty usual selection. There is often a line in the morning but it usually goes pretty fast. The sausage rolls are good but ordinary.

I live less than a mile away and at 9:45 they had about 2 dozen donuts and 5 sausage rolls. Drive thru was backed up. The staff is great but have a little more available otherwise I will have to go elsewhere!!

First time: I ordered a sausage roll, donut holes & chocolate glazed donuts. Never going back. The donut holes seemed stale. The sausage roll had some weird, barely there, breading & the chocolate glazed were just mediocre. Unfortunately, I will not return.

This is our donut shop, always great quality donuts. The smell of the baking daylight donuts is the best! They are open early enough for about anyones schedule and they have a pretty good selection. Thier new store is a real upgrade from thier old location. Its good to see a local business expand and improve through hard work.

If you?re gonna close on Christmas Eve, change your hours on Google and do everybody a favor.

Honestly, I came here for hot breakfast so I ordered ham and cheese croissants as well as sausage cheese and egg biscuits, I literally watched the young lady pull out some jimmy dean sandwiches and put them in the microwave, they werent bad at all, but if I wanted that I could've went to the Walmart across the street for that. Paradise doughnuts in B.A. is only a mile up the street from here and it's ten times better.

Is always running out of sausage rolls EARLY on a daily basis. Is also running out of donuts well ,well before the hours of operation on the door. Other daylight donuts in the area do not seem to have the same problem, as this one.

Slowest donut shop line I?ve ever been to.. seriously the slowest line ever. They need to come up with a new system in the line. At least 2 people need to be helping at the window. Plus they let you wait in the long line to tell you they pretty much have nothing at 9 a clock lol

I don't understand how people like this place. Go check out the little donut shop off of 91st and Elm in the strip mall... Swear Hands down WAYYYYY better than this place. The sausage rolls are so fluffy and have wayyyy better flavor than this place!!!

I've been to many daylight donut stores but this one blew my mind it was so good. I dont know why but it tastes amazing. Not like the other stores. So good I go every morning.

I've always loved Daylight donuts as a kid and I went there recently and it still tastes as good as I remembered. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because it's a good drive to get there.

The food is good, but we have never, ever gone here when they were not out of half their menu. They never have the breakfast sandwiches.

We stop in at least a couple times a month. Always great friendly service. And a large menu to choose from.

It was six thirty and Kim?s was closed so I drove the six miles thinking it would be worth it. The donuts aren?t sweet, they didn?t have much of a choice, but they get two stars for being open.

I have tried to give this Daylight doughnuts 3 different chances. Brought home spoiled, out of date milk from the fridge on 2 separate occasions and today brought home doughnuts with mold underneath the glaze. Ew :(

I live a mile away and have been here at least a dozen mornings over the last year anywhere from 6 to 8 am through the drive though and carryout. The wait time was never longer than expected for a desirable food establishment and the staff has always been nice.

They are so slow. Give yourself easily 20 min either walking in or driving through on a Sunday morning. Been in line for 14 minutes and not even at the front counter. It?s Sunday. Staff accordingly
