Mason you are seriously the best! We had a large crew of over 9 children and two adults with a hefty order and he had us taken care of in a matter of minutes! The kiddos loved their donuts and the atmosphere was so welcoming with the kids toys & books!

My favorite is their fluff filled Bismarck. Great long johns, chocolate cake donuts, and blueberry cake donuts. Yum! Servers are always super friendly.

The staff at this location, specially the sweet young lady working the morning of September 3rd 2021, provided so much personal ownership of my online order. They called to make sure I got exactly the donuts I needed to make a beautiful table at the baby sprinkle I was hosting. The letter donuts were a big conversation piece. Our party of 20 knocked out 40 donuts no problem :)

I love daylight donuts! The donuts are fantastic and the flavors available are very diverse. Staff is kind, atmosphere is warm and inviting.

A great place with a wonderful atmosphere. This donuts shop has a very relaxed and chill vibe, with really nice employees, and really nice donuts. While the donuts aren't absolutely mind blowing, the place gets most of its charm from the relaxing state of the shop, and the employees.

the donuts are delicious! coffee is good! they have toys and movies on for the kids. recently changed out their furniture and it?s comfy and inviting. we come here often on saturday mornings and are always greeted with a friendly smile.

I come here every week to get doughnuts before my martial arts session next door. The doughnuts are great and so are the people who work here. Sarah and Savanna run this store so well. They?re both great at their jobs and great people too.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Our kids always beg us to bring donuts from here home from work on Friday and Saturday mornings. Savannah is great and always friendly. There are so many tasty things it?s hard to choose only one.

I don't know if it was a bad day but my raspberry-filled donuts had barely any filling on them. Less than drop? I mean it is April Fool's Day. And I sure do feel like a fool. Big sad.

Good donuts. But they shorted me 3 large donuts. My husband picked up two dozen donuts the week prior for a work event. Upon arriving, he opened the box to find TEN in each box. Apparently, you have to pay attention and make sure you are getting what you pay for! Very disappointing to find out it?s a common practice.

These donuts were horrible. I got assortment and glazed. They were hard and They tasted a day old. Nothing fresh about them. I ordered them at 6am so I was hoping to get some fresh donuts. Didn't happen.

I love the store in Lenexa the manager is the best. I take the grandkids and she always is so patient with them and lets them pick and interacts with them!!! Plus the store always looks fun and inviting!!!!

I take classes at the dojo next door so this place is always a great way to come a chill out before a work out. It's the kind of place where people learn each other's names. You know the small town cozy feel where they can already guess your oder before you even make it. They have comfy seats to kick back with a good book, and a TV and play area for the kids to watch movies. Can't think of a better place to come every week and relax. Daylight Donuts has been a go-to spot for me over the years, consistently delivering good experiences. During a recent visit, I redeemed an anniversary coupon for complimentary donuts and a latte, which was a fantastic deal and showcased their excellent customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the donuts were clearly not made fresh that day (on a weekend around 10 AM). Taste was exactly what you?d expect when getting clearance donuts from a grocery store cabinet late into the evening. The atmosphere and donut quality seems to have change and dropped since our last visits

We are visiting from Colorado and this place is near my sisters house. My kids loved their donuts. You can get them filled and they do not skimp. My kids said they were the best filled donuts ever! We used to live here and now visit often. I will continue to come back. Not the guy and the lady who served us on two separate days were super nice and kind to my kids. Highly recommend!

Ordered 7 dozen donuts and 10 boxes of coffee for a local event, everything was amazing! Sarah handled a bump in the process very professionally and bent over backwards to make up for a situation that I felt was not a big deal. Such a wonderfully cheery and happy place with just as pleasant employees. I will definitely work with them again next time without a doubt.

The owner/manager is awesome. She's always chatty great customer service. The donuts and coffee drinks are great. And there's a little toy area set up so I can enjoy while my little one is entertained.

We love this donut shop! Great donuts and coffee. Staff is very friendly. It?s always decorated for the season and has a kids area with lots of toys. Yesterday we stopped in and there was an egg hunt. Won a free cookie! Definitely recommend!

STOP selling stuff you cannot stock or make well. 3rd time I've tried to order and have been out of breakfast food. Also, milk showed up sour and chunky. This place is AWFUL. Disgusting ??

Awesome place to get doughnuts. It was very busy on this visit. Would have been 5 stars but the young lady assisting me was distracted by another customer with a coffee thermos refill, which she completed first before I could place my order. I guess the large groups are more important to them, than I was a solo customer.

Came here to get donuts and coffee with a friend for some DND- the sweetest customer service, good food and, in my opinion, even better coffee. Cannot recommend enough.

Daylight Donuts have the best donuts around in my opinion! My wife and baby were very much welcomed by Sarah and loved how happy the place looked and felt! Definitely will be coming back and I encourage others to go to it also!

Absolutely love this shop and the new owner, Sarah! We came in to celebrate a birthday and she gave our kids crowns and really made us feel special. We had tons of fun and will definitely be coming back!

Sara the new manager is AWESOME!!! She has worked very hard to turn this place around and has successfully done so. They have Roasterie coffee & energy drinks and all the other specialty coffee drinks u can think of. Cinnamon rolls, fritters and bear claws are absolutely HUGE! They can also add Bavarian or white cream filling to ANY donut w/out a hole. Great place for your coffee group to gather. Plenty of seating. Why bother going to nearby Starbucks or Panera for coffee or breakfast when u could go here??

Out of town and stopped in here, mistake I ordered four sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Sandwiches were the Costco frozen microwaved, horrible and the doughnuts were ice cold and tasted old. Total sham for a breakfast place. Save your time and money, this place is destined to close soon for poor quality

So the last time I visited this location I had a terrible experience. Today 11/19/20 is a new day, a new associate behind the counter. What a pleasant young lady. She was very welcoming pleasant and glad that I was there as a customer. It's very rare these days to have such an experience. I hope she gets recognized by the management. She's the type I'd pay just a little more to keep her around cause she's good for business.????????

Decent donuts though they aren't made in house. Also, they have very limited supply as early as 8am. They don't even have enough glazed, the easiest of donuts, to make it through a weekday morning. There are better donut options around.

This donut shop is miles more inviting than it was years ago. Sara has made the place inviting and welcoming to families and most importantly kids. What used to be a pitstop for us has become a Sunday morning activity!

Been here 3 times. The staff are really nice and the donuts are fairly priced. I recommend coming early like before 8am otherwise the selections are limited. The bear claw is really good.

We had been going to the daylight donuts in Bonner for years and have never been disappointed. We moved and this one was much closer, so we decided to give it a try. Some of the worst donuts we have ever had. They were so dry and dense, and there were pieces of hardened icing on the donut. There was no way that these were fresh, and they honestly tasted like they were two days old. I?ve had better donuts from Walmart. It?s was also almost $17 for a dozen donuts compared to the $10 at the Bonner locations.

Daylight donuts used to be one of our favorite donut stores in Lenexa but unfortunately the quality has been steadily going downhill over the last couple of years. The donuts have gotten smaller, less icing and what is there is often melting off the donut. The donuts often taste stale. They are not made on site anymore so we wondered if they are freezing them and this has led to a drop in freshness. Overall a big disappointment.

Today morning, I went there and ordered a simple cinnamon roll. I went to check out and when she told me the price, I was blank for a moment, it was $5.46 (just 1 single cinnamon roll- nothing special). I felt like I was robbed. I still purchased it by thinking it must be special. I just tried and it was completely blend taste and did not taste cinnamon at all. Waste of money and never going back. Ripped off.

Never open during posted hours. Always end up driving to several locations trying to find one that?s open when they?re supposed to be. I guess, if I want Daylight Donuts, I?m going to have to get them somewhere out of the KC metro.

Placed and paid for a large order online for pick up. I received a conformation email and text on the day I placed the order. This morning I received a text saying my order would be ready at 7:15. I arrived at the store at 7:15 to find it closed. I had to call call multiple store, customer service and leave multiple messages to get a refund.

August 16th 2018. I went to the Daylight Doughnuts on Lackman Dr. I witnessed the staff behind the doughnuts blow his nose twice and not wash his handle. I walked in. He proceeded to put is contaminated phone down. Then grab one of the papers to grab a doughnut with. At which point I confronted him on what I witnessed. He said I made a good point. He didn't wash his hands. And he's a manager too! UNACCEPTABLE!
