Daylight Donuts and Creamery

Went here for Donut Day today and was pleased with the quick and friendly service. My favorite thing I got there were the donut holes. They had just been made fresh, so they were still warm and so scrumptious?? I'm not sure if they do this all the time, but they had a free donut hole for every donut I bought! Yay!!

Fresh cinnamon roll with the creamery ice cream on it! What a great idea. The staff always had great ideas. I love this place.

This shop has new ownership and gave me another reason to try this location of Daylight. Glad I did! I was impressed. I think you can feel the attention given my the new owners. The donuts tasted fresher than what I've had in the past. The one that was my favorite and I'll go back for is the pine cone. Loved breaking off the pieces. Great flavor and textures between crisp and soft dough in each bite. St. George doesn't have a lot of options but this one should definitely be in your rotation of sweets.

Came here at 9:30 AM on a Tuesday. Friendly service, but the donuts tasted day-old. I?ve had better donuts from the grocery store. Super bummed because it was quite pricey for a mediocre donut. 3 stars for the good service

These are my favorite donuts! I have been to ton of donut shops and my favorite are the old fashion wheels which some shops don't even make anymore. Check them out! And they have yummy pumpkin spice ones for fall right now. ????

Tried my first Pine Cone. It was delightful. Glad they now have longer hours, and found out their ice cream and cheese curds come from Beaver Dairy.

Went in quickly grab a donut hole bag since i had somewhere to be by 10am. When i went in a man was walking out and a dasher was walking in. The woman helped the dasher in front of me, i grabbed my donut holes and went to the counter, she was on the phone taking an order which is not a big deal. The man walked back in and she still ignored me and went back to helping him, he left and i waited a few more minutes, still didn?t acknowledge me until i was walking out only to rudely say ?can you wait?!?? I was so excited to see a new local partner on the myWorld app! My first time to Daylight Donuts and it will not be my last! So many delicious options. I ordered online for storefront pickup. The sweetest lady helped made sure the ?donut cake? for my son?s birthday was extra special and delicious! Order early! They sell out fast!

Doughnuts are good with a good variety. Average in flavor (so a bit disappointed). They could jazz up their twist (for example) with cinnamon.

This place is the best. My husband accidentally drove out of the parking lot with the donuts still on the roof the car and they replaced our poor smashed box for free. Friendly staff, donuts 10/10.

The new owners are doing a great job with it! The donuts are fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. A classic donut establishment without all the frills or prices of some other places in town. we don't come here too often because that's a lot of sugar. But when we're craving donuts, this is the place to go!

I totally love their donuts! The prices are reasonable, and I don't feel like I've been robbed as I leave. I also appreciate that they didn't hit me up for a tip when I purchased. I'm starting to pay attention to those businesses who ask for tips when the staff don't do anything to earn it. I am making a conscious effort to frequent those businesses who don't ask when it isn't warranted.

Below average donuts. Dry, small and definitely not fresh. We have a vanilla cake donut with sprinkles and a glazed old fashioned. It was midday when we visited. The woman behind the counter was nice, though. I wouldn?t return to this location. I?ve had Daylight Donuts in Lehi, Utah, and loved them there.

This is the perfect place for a quick stop, on the way to work, for a great donut. I've been frequenting Daylight Donuts for quite some time now and have tried almost everything they make. The quality is good, the service is good, the flavors are wonderful. My personal favorite is chocolate, chocolate cake, and a diet Coke, if course. Parking is always available. Get there early as they run out of certain flavors early.

I used to love to come here on my bicycle as a kid and grab some donuts with my friends. This last experience however was underwhelming. Came here with my two kids on Saturday ~6AM to grab some fresh donuts and got a variety of apple fritters, cake donuts, and bars. Every time I've gone to Daylight Donuts in St. George I've had the same experience. I wait in line for about twenty minutes, looking at the half-empty display case trying to decide which donuts to select that are still available, because I don't want to be one of the folks who orders something not ready and has to wait again. My first time getting donuts here and it was quite disappointing. The selection was poor (at 7 am). The ones that had filling a weird taste, almost bitter or chemically, maybe. Any doughnuts not eaten immediately were dry. Next day they were inedible.

The best donuts in town!! Always taste fresh and not dry when delivered, unlike other donut shops in town who are awful! Give them a try, their maple bars & glazed donuts are my favorite.

New to St George so I wanted to find a local donut shop. Looked on giggle and found daylight donuts. Read some of the reviews. Mostly good except for the Karen's complaining about masks and social distancing. Future Karen's they all have masks on so don't hesitate to stop in. Now to the donuts. Got me a 6 pack of assorted. I really liked all the ones I tried. I'll be going back. I like ??

Donuts are good enough, (not great) but the service is outstanding. Its a bunch a ladies who seem to care they are very nice and happy. (Who wouldn't be happy working in a donut shop) There are not a lot of choices for donut shops in St. George, it's here or a grocery store so if it's not too much trouble it would be cool to support these awesome ladies.

Nice clean store, friendly staff. Brinkley helped me and was awesome! The donuts were great, wide selection. Like it matters to me cause all I eat are the apple fritters. Try one and you wont care about anything else. But who am I kidding, put a donut in front of me and I am eating it. Great store!!

I personally did not like this doughnut shop. I can understand why people go here and why people like it. The staff were nice and the restaurant was kept clean. However, I came in at around 9 or 10 AM and they were out of most of their doughnuts already. The only one that I would choose out of the remaining selection was the glazed one, and it was not up to par compared to other places I have been to. I also ate it within two or three bites. It was incredibly tiny, which made my experience hardly worth it.

A small shop with smaller than average donuts. Pretty tastey, but get there early if you want some of the best flavors because they do sell out. Fresh donuts! They have mostly cake-style donuts but they do have a classic glazed and a long-john style.

Love, Love LOVE Daylight Donuts! They are always fresh and delicious. They are the only donuts that we use for our STAR 98 Donut Drop. They offer great service have a really friendly staff, you definitely to stop by and try them.

These use to be good donuts. The donuts were much smaller and very flat then 1 month ago. The "apple fritters " were extremely flat like a pancake. Not sure if they are giving up due to Pinkbox donuts opening.

Incredible donuts that run out before noon or earlier. A few places around town sell their donuts but they are best early in the morning when they are hot and fresh. You can get a dozen cheaper at Lins but if you demand the best, head to Daylight between 5 and 7 am for the best selection.

Excellent tasting donuts, the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars was it was 11am and everything was almost sold out. We had a choice of just a couple of selections that I'd normally never bother with...but we tried them and they were good.

First time there and probably the last time. There was a verity choose from. I choose two maple bars for over $3. When I finally got to work noticed that I paid for basically a plain donut. The maple was so thin you could see right through it and could hard taste it. I threw the second away.

We were so disappointed with the size, quality and selection of donuts. For almost $1 per donut the size was ridiculous. If I'm going to pay that I might as well go to Harmon's. They weren't fresh either and by 10am there were only 3 different kinds of donuts left.

I asked the lady to give me a variety of donuts. I brought two dozens. I was excited to share with my office but when I opened one box, it was all the same. I told her she can pick the donuts for me as long as they are not the same. I felt it was dishonest to take my money for quality donuts and she gave me plain ones.

Donuts are very, very average at best ? dry and bland. Im used to Banbury Cross in Slc which blow these out of the water. I had much better donuts from Lin?s when I was in St George. And Lin?s are passable. If you really like good donuts, you?ll be disappointed with this place as I was.

Best Donuts in town. They don't use frozen dough like the grocery stores so their donuts have a lighter and less dense texture. Get there before noon for the best selection.

I really like the donuts but they usually have such a limited selection. Someone walks in and buys a few dozen and they never fully replace what?s taken, so they are essentially out the rest of the day. Sucks, so I usually go to Smiths as they have plenty there, though not nearly as good. Just get there early for a good selection.

Update: I've been to every doughnut place in town and these are the best. I wish there were more options, but I find myself returning here when I want doughnuts. But, when I went last week no one was wearing masks behind the counter, which was concerning considering all this COVID-19 going around. Original review: Their doughnuts are ok, but nothing special. They're pretty comparable to grocery store doughnuts, maybe just a smidge better.

Their cinnamon pine cone donut is amazing! Also love that they're not overpriced. Recommend you get there between 5am to 7am to get the good selection though. They go fast.

Ummmm... YES, PLEASE! This place has some amazing variety but let's be honest. The traditional glazed donuts are where it's at. They melt in your mouth and I have to admit I've been there right after it's open just to make sure I get some! This local bakery does an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone.

I came here on a weekday and got a blueberry old fashioned, a chocolate bear claw, and a pinecone. The chocolate bear claw had some stuffing inside it which tasted really weird as it was a bit sour. The chocolate coating and the bread-like donut otherwise was fine, and I enjoyed the pinecone too because it was crunchy. There are donuts made with buttermilk are the best in town. They offer a wide variety of cake and raised donuts. Try the pine cone! They also have milk and other beverages.

Daylight donuts have very good donuts! The staff is friendly and patient. You can walk in and get a dozen donuts pretty easy, you don't have to order in advance.

They didn't want to let me use the bathroom to wash my hands before I bought and ate their donuts. For such tiny, overpriced, and barely above-par donuts, I would think customer service would be better. NEVER going back.
