Hands down best donut store in our area!! Every time the food is fresh and very taste. Their donuts are soft and delicious every time! They have a huge variety.. you gotta try this place !!! The owners are very friendly !
The lady was SO nice, with a smile on her face, and she was so sweet, great customer service. I got a croissant sandwich and it was great as well, if i was over here on this side of town more often I would come here all the time .
This cute little shop was amazing! They had delicious, warm, buttery and big kolaches. All sorts of flavors to choose from (sausage and cheese, jalape?o, sausage croissant, even unique flavors like fajita chicken and sausage and gravy). Donuts were a hit too. Must stop by if you're in La Porte.
We stopped by just because it was on our way...we were greeted joyfully by the lady there.. super nice ! Stop by please she has the best kolaches :)

The lady at the register is so sweet. I come here in the mornings when I stop by La Porte. The boudin and jalape?o kolaches are my favorite!
The lady, I don't remember her name, is an absolute darling! She is so kind and sweet. The food is fantastic!
I'm a big fan of jalapeno kolaches with an actual slice of jalapeno inside, usually don't like the ones with the jalapeno sausages, however, the sausages they use here are actually really good. I also don't typically like boudain kolaches because the bread overpowers the boudain. Not here. Plus it's some of the best boudain I've had from a donut shop. 100% recommend, I was blown away by this boudain kolache.
Great place staff is fast and friendly and the Vietnamese coffee was even better definitely recommend.

By far the most friendly counter tenant I've ever come across. Her positivity and joy bled and caused me to smile at 4 o'clock in the morning. Donuts were also really good. Tenant offered to stuff my eclair with filling was the cherry on top.
Picked up some kolaches from here, staff was very sweet, and very prompt at getting me taken care of. Kolaches were pretty tasty, and are done in some kind of sweet bread which i enjoyed compared to most places. Will definitely be back.

Best boudin kolaches around!! Tried one and desperately wanted some more so I looked at other donut stores around and no one sells these amazing bundles of yummy except Dawns Donut! Forget Shipleys, Kolache Factory, Kolache Shoppe, etc? this donut shop has what it takes to keep me coming back! The staff are so sweet and friendly and the food is undeniably the best. 5 stars for sure and I will be going back!
I have now lived in this area for 2 1/2 years and dawn donuts is my go to donut shop. The owners are an absolute joy and they really put in the effort to know their customers and their community! The kolaches are amazing (especially the Chappell hill) and the donuts are to die for! They will ice or too a donut if they don?t have it available and they really go above and beyond for my family. Love coming here!! ??
Old school service, you are greeted as you enter the store. Hand made selections. From donuts to what I call pig in a blanket. Great tasting good flavors. Did I mention Bacon. Yes please.
I love this doughnut shop! The customer service is amazing, the guy who runs the shop is always very kind and helpful. It's the only place open early enough that I can get thai tea which is a nice change from starbucks. The kolaches and doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. There are so many doughnut shops but I won't go to any other one again.
