The location changed but the quality of the donuts did not!! If you love soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside This is the place for you!! The icing isn't too sweet but adds to the perfection of the donut. This is my very favorite donut shop.

My review is that they were sold out of donuts at11:25 am. Why post hours that you are open until 2pm when you have no donuts to sell before 11:30 am. I suggest calling before driving all the way there
Never disappoints! The icing is top notch. I love the peanut butter and jelly donut. The sugar cookies are so amazing. I love the new location. The ladies are always smiling and kind. This is a must try if you have never.

I really wanted to give this place five stars. I love local restaurants and local establishments. Unfortunately I did not care too much for their donuts. I guess I'm used to the one on the North end which is not the same and in my opinion much better. Best donuts in the world. Consistent in taste and quality. Everyone is always so friendly. The new owner is such a sweet kind person and is doing a wonderful job by not changing anything. If it's not broke don't fix it . I will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come

They have the best male and female bear claws in Zanesville! And the young ladies that wate on you in the mornings are so pleasant and always smiling.
Best donut stop in Ohio! When it comes to donuts they have perfected the formula, not too hard not too soft. In my opinion they have a perfect balance. If you like maple bacon donuts, try theirs. I haven't had a better one than theirs and they have excellent staff. Get up early, because they go quick! If you're ever in the South Zanesville area, this is a must have experience!
This for 32 years would have been 5 stars no questions asked. Idk whats happened in the last couple months but the donuts are not nearly as soft and delicate as they used to be. The size on many of the donuts have gotten much smaller. This was an absolute once a week stop for me and the family but I think its going to be much fewer and farther between now, the last 2 times just haven't done it for any of us. Saturday June 25 at 9:30 in the morning, we went in the store as we had for many years. We saw empty shelves which did bother us a lot but was odd. The sales lady said that's all we got!!!!. We went outside and told a lady about the store. She said that's okay. She drove 30 miles to get her preordered donuts. She came out with no donuts and said they sold them out from under her. I felt sorry for her. In the last 6 months they have been losing it. It was a good business
First time here. The Bavarian Creme was delectable !!! I'm afraid I'd eat this every day, if I lived nearby, and I'm not even a donut fan! Will definitely be back when we return to Zville!
I've been going here since high school, these donuts are the perfect thing you get before a tough day or to celebrate a great day. Amazing service, wonderful sweets. Get your butt to this shop first thing in the morning.
We stopped and got doughnuts and sugar cookies this morning, absolutely delicious as always.* Update* Sadly Darrell's is NOT what it use to be. Smaller doughnuts, higher prices, staff members are not as friendly as before. What was once a favorite family tradition of an early morning doughnut run, isn't worth getting out of bed for now.

When a place sits in a non-descript little strip mall but is ALWAYS busy, that tells you something. It's not a big place but Darrell's always delivers the best donuts around, with excellent coffee and a helpful, cheerful staff. Whenever we're in town we make it a point to get there early enough to have a few choices (since they open at 4:30 am it's best to get there before 9 am) ... they're one of the best kept secrets of South Zanesville.

A great place for delicious donuts and baked goods. Delicious coffee brand. Provide additional traditional breakfast refreshments. Competitive pricing, but also better quality than Wal-Mart, per se. Convenient location with high visibility.
Best donut that you can spend your money in the south Zanesville area. We like their regular glazed. Eat it with a dark roast coffee, is my small piece of heaven. Combine this trip with golf at Eaglesticks, it makes my week better.

I have always loved Darrell's Donuts. I will be back up from Murray City, Saturday to get some more donuts. Our whole family loves them. I come from around Athens to get them if that tells you something.

I ate one of the best donuts I've ever had in kmy life, I have already returned multiple times, my favorite type of donut here was by far the oreo creme filled donut, but they have a vast array of choices for anyone to appreciate.

Tastes much different now that it's under new owners. Donut holes were greasy, not much filling in the eclairs( long johns).
