The most pleasant donut experience I've ever had! I ordered 2 dozen donuts at the drive-thru window, and it was ready to go in less than 2 minutes. They are really nice and very delicious! Definitely will be back! Also ordered a black coffee, and it was seriously the best cup of Joe I've ever had.

This place has amazing customer service and very lively for 5 am when they open. Their apple fritter really is the best I have had. I have been searching for a solid apple fritter for a while. Darla's did not disappoint. The rest of their donuts are really good as well. Like you are eating a donut not a cotton candy donut that will leave you unsatisfied. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

I was extremely thrilled with the quality. variety and fresh of donuts from Darlas Donuts..Although drive thru only. the staff showcase the complete selection and are very accommodating. Needless to say I and the donuts was very popular at work. apple fritters and all were spectacular.

This is a REAL donut shop! It seems like good donuts are a dying art. Groceries store donuts seem perpetually stale. Like they're shipped in and sold as "fresh". The new donut shops seem to think a $2 cake donut is awesome because they offer 'Mimosa and Kumquat-flavored icing" that they apply while you watch. Darla's is a GREAT donut shop. Might be the perfect classic donut.. The quality of these donuts are exceptional - the texture is perfectly soft and chewy and the taste is very clean, not too sweet, and no artificial after taste. I?m addicted to the croissant sticks. Until I found Darla?s I would drive 6 hours to Vegas for cronuts. These are amazing! I call early and have them boxed up because they sell out fast. Customer service is always great here as well. I wish they had more locations! Totally worth the drive though.

Ok. I would consider myself a donut expert in a sense. I have my favorites and know who has the best of what in the valley. This was my first time and I am hooked. I can tell you why... they don?t load down the dough with sugar so bad that you feel sick after you eat just one. The sweet should come from the topping or glaze, not from the dough. They figured out the perfect mixture. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for great donuts! Amazing texture and fluffy melt in your mouth goodness!

Hahaha... I'm a big fan of calories. This picture is an indication of how snagging the Apple Fritter is, it was much larger a few minutes ago. It had some soft crunchy parts. Warm and a perfect apple filling. Definitely coming back. They sell out fast. Get in early.

First time coming here. I have driven past a or but always after they closed. Lucked out today and they had some doughnuts left right before closing. Got a dozen amazing doughnuts. Super nice staff and they had some classic doughnuts and some fun new stuff. I get why the Tribune named them one of the best doughnuts in the valley.

I?d say Darla has the best donuts in the Salt Lake Valley! The dough is perfection, so light but flavorful. The frosting was amazing and never overly sweet. I took these to a get together and everyone was very impressed!

Always the bomb! Apple fritters with real apple pieces, crispy edges and fluffy pastry and a bit of creamy cinnamony filling! The BEST! Cinnamon twist was delicious as always. German choc cake donut was spot on! We were in heaven!

Donuts are good, but service at the window is lacking. The lady at the window asks for things in a rude manner and makes you feel like you?re inconveniencing her as a customer. Makes you not want to return.

Wish the lobby was open but still the best donuts I?ve had in a long time! They always have the best assortment options. A dozen is about $20.

If there was a way to make them calorie free I?d have an apple fritter 5 times a day. Wish the lobby was open. Makes it a little awkward for ppl that drive large delivery vehicle and end up just having to stand in a line of cars in the weather, but maybe it?s because of the houseless problem? Idk that?s the only thing I can think of. Definitely some of the best dognuts I?ve had in the valley.

Had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to my extremely independent 3-year-old who wanted to be a big girl and have the doughnuts handed to her. Doughnuts were some of the best we've had in a while!

Could not walk in , all the racks looking in the window were empty so you couldn't see what you were getting . Heard about them on the radio so wanted to try them out. The apple fritter was really good if you like a thick bready one . Dough was soft and moist , edges crispy but not good enough to travel 10 miles for. Only had the drive thru ! It would be nice to pick which one you wanted .

This place is fantastic! They are always fast and friendly, and the donuts are delicious! I take a couple dozen to work with me every few weeks and everyone loves them! Their fritters are amazing and they have a number of "different" donuts (fruity pebbles on top!) people love as well! If you are in the neighborhood it is worth stopping by and getting some delicious treats!

The lobby is not open, but I always know what I want so the drive through works. My kids do miss going in to pick their own donuts though. We like the donuts. That's all that really matters

I'm ashamed to say I've driven by this location for 4 years and just noticed them this morning. I'm a big fan of a good donut, and had to stop in to check the place out. Let's just say it was so good, I stopped in with a family member a second time, later the same day. Out of the half dozen different donuts I tried, I have to say I was very impressed with everything. Went to get donuts, parked, walked to the door, and found a sign that said open for drive thru only. There should have been better signage indicating that the dining area was closed to the public. Donut boxes are inconvenient to hand through a window.

We tried darlas donuts for the first time today and I'm extremely impressed! The lady that helped at the drive thru was kind and helpful! I also loved their alternative to a traditional menu with the baking sheet filled with all of the available donuts! The orange glazed was by far my favorite! We will definitely be back again!

Was super excited to get a Krispie Kreme in WVC. But once eating one of their donuts. All I could think was....Darla's is way better. Darla's donuts will forever be the best Donut place. Always a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Their donuts are delicious. Faves are the root beer and the orange glaze. Their turnovers are flaky and generously filled, as well as the jelly/cream filled. It will make one smile because we do know the disappointment to bite into a filled pastry/donut having the lack of the filling. We've tried other places because of locations, but Darla's wins our vote when one is craving tasty fresh donuts.

Their raised donuts have an oily taste (like the oil they were fried in hasn?t been changed in a while) and their blueberry cake donut was dry. Was hoping for some killer donuts given the other reviews but left disappointed. Staff was nice, no line, descent selection for 9 am.

I have been picking up donuts for our dispatch crew at Godfrey Trucking for years now. This is undoubtedly the best donut shop I have ever encountered. Darla's was closed through Christmas week so I went to "My Sugars" for our weekly treat. The service there was reasonable but the product was way below Darla's standard, the selection was less. and they were more expensive. I would give Darla's 6 stars. The service, friendliness and product are the best.

Donuts don't have a weird fried taste, fresh oil! And they are super soft and fluffy. Loved the variety. Had a fresh apple fritter, it was my favorite. Looking forward to trying their version of a cronut, it looked so good.

Darla's Donuts are the best donuts there are. Our family discovered her homey little donut shop about three years ago, and we simply cannot enjoy any other donuts now because none compare. A donut craving can only be cured by Darla's and when we've eaten a donut from another baker on the days when we were too late to get to Darla's (her shop closes in the early afternoon), we've been disappointed and reminded that once you know something exceptional, it's best to just stick to those standards :) Darla works

Best donuts in Salt Lake City. Yes even better than BC. Darla is so nice and friendly. I don't even know what sets these apart from other local places but they are always so fresh and so soft and just delicious. Love coming here in the morning on my way to work and getting donuts, the wait is usually not very long in the drive thru and everyone is very kind. Donuts are delicious!

This place has amazing donuts, probably the best I've ever had, but their hours are EXTREMELY inconsistent. Some days they're open when they're expected to be, other days they're closed. Some Saturdays they're open, signs on & everything, but then you'll pull up to the window & wait because they have a sign telling you they might not hear you, but they also have a sign saying "temporary hours, closed." As frustrating as it is that their hours are completely unpredictable, the least they can do is show CLEAR

Went in late afternoon which is close to closing time for bakeries/donut shops. I knew there would be very little selection left, but that was OK. I got two creme filled pastries, and a donut covered in maple frosting, was going to get the last maple bar. But it had bacon pieces on top and we are not into that. I?ve even gotten a reminder call from them about my order, when they were worried I had forgotten or was running late. I love a plain chocolate donut with chocolate icing and coconut! Every shop I have tried I order that, or something similar they should not have that. I am from Southern California and had the best donut shop since I was a little girl. Every Sunday before church I would get that donut. Darla?s just blew that memory out of the water. Holy cow! Definitely a member of the Doughnut Hole of Fame. Doughnuts are always warm, fresh and tasty. The selection is impressive and you can find one you like easily. Employees are friendly and patient while you make your choices. Prices are right about what you would expect. The location is pretty good, but near a busy freeway. Parking is limited. I suggest you get there early for best selection. Egress can be a nightmare due to the busy road and aforementioned freeway.

We?re here from out of town and wanted to get some donuts, but not from a gas station. Found this shop and I?m SO glad we did. The lady who helped us was SO kind and the donuts are incredible.

Used to be able to walk in and select your doughnuts. No longer - it's drive-thru only now. If you're on a bike (and being subject to car / truck exhaust), or just don't want to waste time in a car line idling that is what you have to deal with. Pass. Used to enjoy their apple fritters, but not going back until customers are once again able to walk-in.

So i typically get off work at 4:30 am. It takes me about half an hour to get home and i'm usually hungry by the time i get off work. I want donuts. A true donut shop. You get what you pay for. great quality and flavor. Some of the donuts that came in the pre made dozen we're ... odd. Maple bacon I believe was one of them. However, people at my worked loved them anyway!

I want to like this place, but I get grossed out when I watch them touch the donuts with their hands or a few fingers that overlap the wax paper and also work the cash register. They need to use gloves or have a dedicated register person.

A cute little shop with some of the best donuts in Utah! They can even do custom orders if given advanced notice. Like cake (old fashioned) donuts with white glaze and sprinkles. (Hard to find in Utah, grew up on them in California.)
