Danville Donuts

Though I don't eat donuts very often, I have NEVER had a bad donut from Danville Donuts! They're always fresh, soft & almost pillowy inside, and delicious!?? They're not always super friendly, I guess no one is these days, but that doesn't stop me when I'm in Danville and need a fix!?? So, if you have a hankering for a GOOD donut and you're in Danville, give this joint a try!??

If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would!! These donuts are among the best I've ever had! Not since childhood have I enjoyed a donut this good. The dough is soft, the fillings are perfect - not too thick or too runny. Can we talk about how cool it is that they fill the donuts in front of you? Plus there are some really pretty colors for icing, too! If you just want a taste, go get a dozen donut holes and you'll see what you've been missing in your life.

I gave this business a 5 star because I?ve been there 3 times and the donuts were good and fresh. I?ll give the staff a 1 star because I felt unwelcome the 3 times I went there and I am a Friendly person. I would say they need to work on a better customer service. I told my daughter I will go there one more time and if I get the same energy like I don?t belong there, I will take my business elsewhere. The donuts were great though.

Whenever I visit Danville, I make it a habit to stop by and get donuts. I wish they would start the day with a larger supply, as they make their donuts fresh every day. Unfortunately, if you?re not there by noon, there isn't much left to choose from. However, that just goes to show how great the donuts are!

I walked in and the first thing i seen was a smashed cockroach that was still twitching.

We are spending the weekend in Danville and we're always on the lookout for a good doughnut fix so we decided to check out Danville Donuts. The doughnuts were good but not great and there wasn't a great selection. Don't get me wrong, the display cabinet was full but the display cabinet is small. Apparently their twist is filling doughnuts on request which doesn't sound too bad until the guy in front of you orders 2 dozen and there's only one person working the counter.

7/12/2023- This is an update to my previous review. I called and spoke to the owner. Today I went back and received replacement doughnut. The chocolate covered cream filled this time had plenty of cream. Thank you Ms. Suu! They also apologize for the inconvenience. ********************** I ordered two chocolate covered extra white cream and received two doughnuts with very little to no white cream ??

I went twice?donuts were very good! Prices were not bad. Service was not great. First time I ordered 6 donuts, and one had no filling. Second time I went I ordered a dozen. Lady didn?t make note of what I asked for. Not only were some of the donuts filled with product I didn?t ask for (apple), but some of them were the wrong donuts with the wrong filling. One of them had about 1 teaspoon of filling (but tasted good). Point is, the older worker lady is not very friendly and will mess up your order?but the f

Donuts are my favorite baked treat. The doughy sweetness hits the spot every time. Danville Donuts is a guilty pleasure that I should indulge more but it is hard not to eat 6 at a time. Service is quick, interior is modest but all that is needed to make and display a bunch of tasty options. Topping selections are mostly traditional, similar goes for the variety of icings used. My personal favorites are the large powdered, coconut vanilla iced, any icing with sprinkles, tiger tails, and blueberry cake donuts

Worst donut I ever had in my life! Bought a half a dozen, not fresh! they were so stale I couldn't believe it, not to mention I was overcharged. Couldn't even dine in since there was a leaky roof in the ceiling & water everywhere that i almost slipped on while leaving. Don't recommend.

One of Danville's hidden gems. They have a wide variety of donuts on a daily basis, including cinnamon rolls, eclairs, jelly filled, and donut holes. And all reasonably priced! They will accommodate large orders with pre-ordering and are very easy to work with! Corporate events, school events, family cookouts, etc, they have you covered.

Best donuts around. We had these for our daughter?s wedding. Instead of a traditional wedding cake (they had a small one to cut) she wanted a donut cake, and these were amazing!

I tried these donuts when a client brought some to my job in NC, they were the best donuts ever and they are huge. Since then anytime I'm near there I make sure I stop in and pick some up. You can call ahead and they will even have your order ready for you. The staff is very friendly.

I was on my way to Petsmart when this establishment caught my eye. Love, love, love! Best donut shop in Danville. My kids loved it. The store is clean, the employee was super nice. They have so many different types of donuts to choose from. I love how they add the filling after you order so you can choose which one you want. I will be going back.

You won't believe the sheer size of the donuts here; they're massive! And let me tell you, they're not just big; they're incredibly delicious too. What's awesome about this place is that you get to pick your filling, and they'll stuff the donut right there for you. You get a ton of tasty treats for your buck!

The lady that waited on me was extremely nice and patient. I bought a dozen for the office, and everyone made over how big and good they were. Only complaint would be not enough filling, but that's just a, lack for a better word, greed thing. Will definately be going back.

Ooh my God! The donuts are REMARKABLE! Same types you find elsewhere but its like a whole nother level. The donuts are fluffier and tastier than fresh hot now light on at Krispy Kreme! Unbelievable service and they even inject your choice of fillings into your doughnuts right when you order! Pretty good donuts, but make sure you get there early because when a variety runs out, it's out. I do like that they'll stuff pretty much anything with cream or jam for you.

The name Danville Donut..S Iis misleading. I've visited 3 times ... I've yet to buy A donut!! The offering is meager with little selection. My advise is don't waste your time stopping here. Walmart ?? has a better selection.

Some of the best donuts in town. The staff are helpful and the selection is large. Donuts are light and fluffy, but not too light. Sometimes they are low o options while cooking more if go right after peak, but still very good. They also have different filling options and are quick with orders.

First time here: at 9:30 in the morning they had a very small selection and were told they were yesterday?s donuts at half price. The elderly lady assisting us had limited to no knowledge of the differences in the selections. I will not return to this place, nor would I recommend it based on my experience.

Great selection of fresh, tasty and unique donuts not typically found at a chain shop. Customer service was good. The coffee was a bit cold, but there was a microwave that customers can use to warm up their coffee.

We just moved to town and this is the very first local place we experienced. The doughnuts are incredibly tasty and very good for the price. The service too was awesome! We will definitely come back!

I got a dozen and tried a bite of all of them! Sorry, but I wasn't impressed. The doughnuts were dry as heck... I was shocked, as I had higher hopes for it was my first time. I didn't see much variety either ??

My first time here didn't know Danville had a donut shop but oh my talk about fresh and smells so good when you go inside! Cashier was nice and the great thing is you can see the donuts being made it was so cool!!!!

Pretty good donuts me and my husband and two little girls just went today for the first time. The customer that entered after us asked was this our first time coming we said yes she started explaining right way about the donuts and she don't even work there which I appreciated that cause the person who was standing there waiting on us to order didn't even say anything until after we told her what we wanted. Wow, amazing donuts, I hope everyone around continues to support this local business, I highly, highly recommend getting your sweet fix here, you can fill your donuts up with your choice of filling that's available on the spot, best ones I've had in a long time, will definitely be back.

Nothing crazy with this place and that is okay because what they do, they do well. A cool feature is when you order a filled doughnut, they fill them as you order, and you get to select your choice of filling flavor from a variety of options. Always a good treat in an area that doesn't have much more competition in the bakery genre.

Donuts are good! Nice staff and a very clean establishment. The young lady w/ the glasses is always sweet to my girls. I recommend the cinnamon glazed twist!

So good!! They fill the donuts with whatever filling you choose (blueberry, raspberry, lemon, custard, etc) fresh, right there in your face. Not dry at all and very delicious!!!! I recommend this place a lot!

I got three donuts of different varieties let's just say one was not fresh, it was obvious. The girl at the counter told me they were made fresh daily. Maybe some of them are, but the one I had was hard on the outside.

Danville donuts is absolutely lovely. The feeling i got when i went was like a little fat kid at a fair with a giant teddy bear he just won. I will always remember Danville donuts as one of a kind and beautiful just like the donuts they gave me. Thank you Danville donuts. <3

Undoubtedly the best donuts I've ever eaten. They're quite addictive and stay fresh for a very long time. Large variety to choose from as well. Great service and very clean business. I would definitely reccomend Danville Donuts!

Their donuts are delicious! My mother grew up in Danville and every time we come to visit the grandparents we stop and get AT LEAST a dozen. I have never been a donut fan but I am definitely a fan of Danville Donuts!

At 8:30 on Sunday morning they were almost out of donuts. Half of the few donuts they had were from the previous day. It seems like they weren't planning on having much business, so they didn't make many donuts. This approach usually leads to to not having future business.

The best donuts in the city hands down. Good service good food. I need to stop going there though since its so bad for my waist area, but I can't resist. Its a good place to treat yourself after waiting forever at the dmv.

Crazy good some of the best donuts I've ever had in a film with a cream and jelly right there on the spot always fresh. Once you try them you'll see what I mean

Love it! This is one of a few places where you can find sugared donuts, that I personally love it, plus a wide variety like, jelly filled donuts, white cake, twisted, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, bear claws, etc

I was disappointed in the selection of donuts offered. They only had 2 that I could get fillimg in, 1 bear claw, 1 apple fritter, 1 chocolate with sprinkles, 1 strawberry with sprinkles, and not much else to choose from. Couldn't even get a dozen!

I tried one twist from here and it wasn?t very good. The dough was thick and heavy, which isn?t how a yeast donut should be. The location is great, as well as the prices.

Online said open till 6pm sign on door said open till 6pm. Arrived at 5:40pm hoping to snag some donuts for Sunday breakfast since we live an hour away! They were closed up, not a donut or staff member in sight. My kids were very upset.
