Dannys Donuts has the best donuts in Gainesville, and probably north Georgia. Every donut I?ve had has been super fresh, soft and just plain delicious. They have a great variety of regular donuts, filled donuts, cake donuts and even apple fritters that are awesome. I especially love when they toss in some donut holes free of charge ? such a nice little bonus. The people there are always super friendly too. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend if you?re in Gainesville!

Everyone in Gainesville Ga knows what that small white box with no markings is. The best doughnuts in town. The price is fair and the servers are always nice and super fast. Always a solid choice.

Went here in the morning for some breakfast. After knowing how great the doughnuts here are, I wanted to try other items. I?ve heard of Danny?s Donuts plenty of times before but had just never had the time to stop by. I finally tried this place out and I?m glad I did! First off, I loved the welcomeness of the female that attended me. I forgot her name but she was super sweet and helpful! Donuts were good, but it?s people like her that keep people coming !!

I've been looking forward to checking this place out. It's hard to find true Old-fashioned donuts. The ladies in the shop were sweet and very helpful. A lot of reviews mentioned the apple fritter... they were right! It's so good. So far every one that I've tried has hit its mark. Fresh. Light. Sweet. Delicious. I'll definitely be back, and plan on trying the drinks and breakfast foods, at some point.

Just left Danny's mini donuts for normal price. These are not donuts you need to be selling. I could get this at the dollar store in the mini bag. Will not return to Danny's mini donuts ever. Your product is trash for the price. This is a normal size cup donushiuld sit on top. Nor fall though. Great mini donuts not.

Food is great but went by at 2pm on a Tuesday and they were closed. Need to fix those hours on Google. Drove all the way across town.

Delicious yeast donuts! Plenty of filling too. I was even surprised the coffee was excellent. They do charge a credit card fee, but their prices are reasonable so forgivable. Must stop!

This is a must. Their doughnuts are the best in the state and they are priced to sell! Great service if you have a minute to wait for a breakfast sandwich I suggest it. Call your order in to pick up; the doughnuts are fresh and waiting on you. Service is excellent, staff is polite even during the biggest rush, and very accommodating. If your having a bad day this place is the best pick my up and if your starting your day this is how you do it right.

My family came in this morning to grab some breakfast on my daughters birthday and the owner Marlene gave her a free pink sprinkled donut! It made her absolutely light up! Our first time was so welcoming and we will make this our new local favorite breakfast spot!

I?ve been to this location of Danny?s many times, and I have had a wonderful experience each time. I truly believe that Danny?s hires some of the most genuine and sweetest people. The lady (I wish I knew her name) who helped me today really touched me with her kindness. No longer do I go to Dunkin of Krispy Kreme? only Danny?s for me!

This place has the most amazing doughnuts. They were voted the best in Hall County. The guys are super friendly. It's a great local business and a cherished part of the community. I cannot overstate how incredible they are. I recommend them without any hesitation.

This shop has an excellent variety of freshly made donuts as well as fresh made to order breakfast burritos. If you're into breakfast burritos, I highly recommend the Adventure. If you're into spicy, they will happily add chopped jalapenos in your Adventure.

Had to come on here and write something because I love this shop so much I come there 3 to 4 times a week. I have visited the other Danny?s locations and none even come close to this one. The atmosphere and service are always top tier and very inviting. The doughnuts are always fresh and stocked. If you are on the fence about stopping in do yourself a favor and try it out you wont be disappointed!

We had never been to Danny?s before but found ourselves on that side of town this morning and decided to stop in to see what we could find for breakfast. I had the ham egg and cheese croissant and my husband had the smoked sausage burrito! Both were excellent! Hot and fresh! Also tried a couple donuts and iced coffee and they were great as well!

Great coffe and friendly staff! Can add boba to ANY drink! Even coffee!! Lots of not to hidden anime decor throught the store. Plenty of decor throughout.

Love Danny's doughnuts! Great service! The doughnuts variety change occasionally, but they always have our families' favorites. It's much better than Duncan's. My only regret is that we live two towns away. Go early in the day. These doughnuts sell out fast.

Wow! This place has every kind of freshly made donut you could want. I don't care for donuts so I go for their breakfast croissants and burritos. Both are excellent. My girlfriend really enjoys the blended iced coffee drinks they make. The people who own/run this place are very kind and friendly. They seem to enjoy what they so and appreciate their customers.

Danny's Donuts has an ever growing following since arriving in Hall County. Their apple fritters are a fav. This trip, I tried an Adventure Buritto with egg, cheese, chorizo, and more. It was filling and good. Actually, I could not finish it in one meal. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you haven't tried them, don't wait any longer. At this time, I believe there are 3 locations.

I usually go here in my way to volunteer at Good News at noon on Friday mornings and get a sausage egg and cheese croissant and they are always amazing. 10 out of 10.

My daughter says these are the best donuts she has ever eaten! Up until now, we've not had fresh, homemade donuts when we go out, so it's amazing what a difference it makes! The staff was all super friendly and patient with her as she made her selections for our box. We will definitely make several return trips!

Great service! Came here today with my kids while my husband was having a procedure done at NE Georgia Medical and the lady at the counter was so nice. They even gave us a couple of the munchkin doughnuts for free in the box. Will definitely be coming back even though we live an hour and a half away! Great, fresh doughnuts and wonderful service. Many choices, you must come here! Best donuts I?ve had so fluffy and flavorful but what is even better is their customer service is absolutely the best I?ve ever had. Love getting the couple extra donuts holes!! It is very good on price also so don?t feel guilty ordering a lot ?? new favorite.

Two things: they have the BEST boba tea I've had anywhere, I highly recommend that you have the taro flavour. They are also incredibly sweet and often add in little bonuses to your purchase; I got a half dozen and the guy behind the counter threw in some donut holes as well and FILLED the cap of my taro tea with extra tea and whipped cream. Highly recommend the apple fritters. Maple bacon comes in a close second. The folks here are great, and they sometimes throw in a few extra donuts into the box just because they know how tasty they are. I?ve never tried the location on Dawsonville Highway, but the one in midtown is fantastic.

Danny's Donuts has a huge selection of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. I've tried a lot of the items on the menu and they're all great! Go early in the day for the best selection. I try to get there before 9:30 AM. The buttermilk bars, bear claws, and blueberry cake donuts are my favorite!

I love donuts!!! All the donuts are simply delisous & the caramel iced coffee is divine! The prices are on point so you can try more than one to find your favorite. Great place for a quick bite to feed that sweet tooth.

The thing that makes this place so good is that the doughnuts are made fresh at the location every day. When you get a dozen assorted you really get an assortment not just filled and regular like the other guys. The one downside is that these things are so good that they regularly sell out (a good sign). So get here early if you want to get in on that fried dough heaven that is Danny's Donuts.

Update from original post: The staff are still nice and the overall flavor of the donuts are still good, but this and the other Gainesville location have new owners who seriously SKIMP on the cream in their filled donuts. That boat load of cream was the whole reason for my raving review last year! I mentioned the missing cream issue to one of the location owners, and got some excuse about the donuts sticking together when filling them, but I'm thinking..'squeeze harder'. Lol. First and foremost the service is amazing. I always feel welcome there. The breakfast sandwiches are great. I can't leave without donuts, the apple fritters and the maple bacon donut are the best. I always try to stop by whenever I can.

Danny's yeast raised donuts are EXCELLENT! I particularly like their glazed, chocolate frosted (with NO GLAZE underneath !!!!), lemon filled, and Bear Claw. Their chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is pretty durn good too!

If you haven't tried Danny's yet you're missing out on the best donuts/pastries you've ever had in your life! There are no shortcuts taken and I have never been disappointed in anything I've ever ordered. And now they have multiple locations for more convenience.

This location is nowhere near as good as the Dawsonville Hwy location. The Dawsonville Hwy location has the best donuts I've ever had, great breakfast sandwiches, burritos and more plus great service and best prices of any donut shop. The Main St location however wasn't half as good. While the staff was wonderful the donuts seemed almost stail and only half glazed. The original review from 6 years ago was fantastic things have gone downhill a bit with service and quality. Donuts are not what I would expect from the best place and the burritos are filled with potatoes and very little egg or meat.

I heard about the boba teas and I wanted to try one, so I took my bro with me to check this new place out. As It turns out, they have great customer service and wide selection of donuts, coffees, teas, etc. I enjoyed my cookies and cream bubble tea. I highly recommend this place!

This place had great cream filled glaze donuts, honeydew melon with tapioca black pearls, and small glazed donut holes. The breakfast burrito had fantastic smoked sausage and warm potatoes.

I haven't actually had a donut but I buy them for others repeatedly. People love them. Everyone who works there is nice. The only problem is they sometimes run out of the best donuts.

So...when Danny's Donuts opened, even though I knew it was not Psycho Danny, I avoided the place. The negative association was that strong. Well...
