The owner of the shop, a sweet lady, is super kind and hospitable! I got their ham a cheese kolaches and donuts holes and they were both soft and fluffy?i usually have issues with the donuts being too greasy at major chains, but these donuts were not greasy at all. A mom and pop shop people should definitely support!
The customer service is exceptional and comes to them without effort. The donuts are the best . The Bun bao pork or beef are delicious The croissants are really good. And these items are offered fresh daily. Kolaches!! And the variety. Dare you to try and only eat one!
Delicious Donuts melt in your mouth so good when we are in Houston that is the place we San Antonio ppl go to.

The people here are very nice. They have very delicious donuts, kolaches and croissants. We service their grease traps ( Liquid Environmental Solutions) so we know those are definitely as clean as the rest of the restaurant. I literally spiritually connected with three people while we were here and we had a conversation about filling the world with peace and love and kindness. It was wonderful. 2 of us cried. A life changing experience can be had here. ??????
These are easily the best donuts and croissants that I have ever had! Customer service is always amazing. Everything is always so fresh. I always get their croissant breakfast sandwiches as well and they are amazing. I recommend 10/10

Their food is delicious, only certain donut shops get the croissant bread just right like they do. My kids love their boudin and ham and cheese croissant kolaches now, their donuts are pretty darn good too. I totally recommend them.
I've been coming here since I was a baby, they always have the freshest food, always warmed up and ready to eat. The drinks are always cold and there's always a smile behind the counter. For the past 22 years I've been going I've always left with a smile even on my bad days and I've always had a happy stomach. I can't thank these wonderful people enough for everything they have done over the years and all the smiles

I have had many donuts in my life but this place have the Best Donuts, Kolaches, Best everything they sale. Customers Service is a 10 plus they are friendly with everyone the way it should be. Thanks Danny's for serving quality food.
Best fresh donuts in town is worth it I rather make the long drive for this donuts always amazed me thank you for always giving everyone great donuts
They never disappoint and they know their usual customers by name and if your new they will ask you how your doing nice owners and great food especially the croissants all kinds check them out
I've been to other places before for the donuts and kolache but this place has to be by far my favorite for so many reasons. The hospitality and how well they are with kids is what really does it for me. Don't get me wrong the food is fantastic but they're generally wonderful, kind and generous at times. Thank you for being my son's #1 and favorite donut shop.
The food and service were both excellent but not quite as good as I remember from other stores. With highly recommended. Maybe what's my imagination. But I remember the portions being bigger.
Family owned goodness. Growing up having other chain donuts I've never liked glaze donuts until I tried Danny's. The plain glazed are soft, sweet with a hint of vanilla...and if you catch them hot, they melt in your mouth. Variety of other donuts and pastries. Kolaches are also so good! Crispy bacon, sausages and boudin offered For a bonus ask about the bread pudding!!!
The donuts were super fresh! I had business around the corner and decided to stop in. A very good decision! My boyfriend got hot coffee. He was cold so he became a very happy guy! The service was superb.
Best donuts in SouthBelt area. Love love! People are always super ???? nice. Always ask you if you want to wait for them to make a fresh batch. They even sold macaroons at one time, but because people didnt know what they were they weren't selling. But they let us know if we wanted to order any to let them know. They are all about their customers being happy! Can't say enough about them! Yum! ??
Just moved to this side of town. This is my 2nd attempt going to this shop. First time was a few days ago 11/27. Only cake donuts were available at 6:15a. Today 11/30 passed by . It?s 6:30 and they?re not even open. I won?t be going back.

Family owned for years and years and years. Their croissant sandwiches are flaky and delicious and their apple fritters are just the way I like - crispy on the outside and soft in the center of each bite with lots of apple pieces throughout. Try a bit of everything and come back often as they try new things out.
Food: I only tried the Kolaches. I grabbed 3. The boudain kolache had delicious bread but the boudain itself was missing flavor. I really wanted to like this especially since Im always in search for the best boudain. However the Sausage, Cheese and Jalapeno kolache was quite delicious. My family truly enjoyed them and said they were better than Shipley's. I will definitely comeback for these. I will also get donuts next time and update this review.

The best donut or doughnut shop in the southeast side of Houston. The staff is very nice and very friendly. The food is cheap and well worth it. Donuts do not taste nasty, but rather good I think they have a very authentic taste to them than what you would taste at Shipley's. My buddy, Darry knows me and always welcomes me whenever I come by for a bite to eat. I would recommend this place to anyone. Best donuts on Sundays for me right after church and eat them down with a tall glass of fresh milk, yum.
This is my second time at Danny?s Donut Shop. I love this place because the staff is very friendly and you feel at home. I recommend coming to visit and you come back like me. Donuts, Kolaches and everything else on the menu is delicious.
We have been going to Danny's for more than 15 years. They were part of our "first day of school" tradition when the kids were in school. We recently had the opportunity to try many donut shops in southeast and southwest Houston and Danny's is hands down the best. The Jumbo Kolache is unmatched and their donuts, twists, apple fritters and fruit kolaches are amazing.

I am not a big fan of big name donut shops. They put waaaay too much sugar and almost always cold. This place has amazing delicious donuts, kolaches, and super nice people! Give this place a try!

This is hands down the best place to get donuts and anything. I travel to come here cus they are the only one. Wish they would open up more locations. I remember my mom coming every weekend to get some and that's when I was so little i'm 25 now and still go here before anywhere else. Such sweet people too :)
I will only buy from thjs donut shop. Why, because Rene & Pete are the sweetest and they make the best stuff ever. Something about their sweet dough that makes their donut shop stand with the best. You have to try it!!

their tacos are made as you order them. not wrapped in plastic and sitting in a warmer like most places. best breakfast tacos ever.
