This has to be the best cinnamon roll I?ve ever had. The roll has a soft, deep flavor with a perfect amount of cinnamon. My only wish is that that had nutrolls. Everyone is very nice and friendly. And I had no problem meeting the $5 minimum ?? I took my time and dined in. It seems there is a regular that sits at the long table and talks to everyone. Service: 4/10 The woman who rang me up never smiled and I am a bubbly person. Kolache: 4/10 It was so warm and comforting, but the taste was bland, but it had a nice texture. Doughnut: 4/0 It was perfectly iced, nice and puffy, chewy, but the taste didn?t hit the spot.
Friendly and fast service, but the bread for the Bavarian-filled was weird tasting... like it was set near an open grease trap to capture the aroma to flavor it o.O! The "jumbo jalapeno kolache" was jumbo bread with a flavorless sausage and hardly any cheese. Less than par products.

Just want to let Dannay?s know that we love them we love their food, their friendliness and always greeting you with a smile. They know their customers and greet them as if they are family. My family and I have been their customers for more than 20 years and we appreciate them so much. Keep up the wonderful job you are doing, we love you guys.
Hands down the best kolaches in the area! We drive all the way from Manvel to get several. My toddler loves these as well as their donut holes. The owners are so nice as well!
Locally owned donut shop. They've been on Gordon Street for a long time! Donuts and kolaches are good. I prefer a couple of other places over Dannay's but not by much. I'm never disappointed going here.

The donuts taste weird, like they need to change the oil. The building is dirty as hell and has a weird smell. It needs to be cleaned for sure. I won't ever do back their when Shipley's is so close to this store. Drive the extra bit and spend your money on something worth it, bc this isn't.
Not going again. Went for a quick coffee and donut realized had to get more since the 5 dollar card use had one donut and was just not what I thought a donut should taste like thick batter maybe? Not sure but not going to try again and I have 5 extra donuts to give away
This is one of 2 donut places I will go to!! Dee's Best Donuts is a tad better but only a TAD! These donuts are so soft and sweet and the kolaches beat Shipley's by FAR!! Dannay's and Dee's kolaches have warm buttery layers that you can unravel and eat! SO GOOD! After I found these 2 places i will NEVER return to Shipley's ever again... it just wouldn't taste right anymore ??
I like everything else other than the chocolate iced donuts. I don?t know exactly what it is but the chocolate icing tastes like a nail salon, I don?t know if anyone can relate or not. It?s just overwhelming with the taste that the donuts just aren?t that great.
Dropped in this morning, got a kolache and a cinnamon twist. Food was good, service prompt, and I was satisfied. - Noticed a small group of old timers meeting there. I love seeing people come together.

If you love sweet savory dough, then dannays Kolaches are for you. Donuts leave something to be desired, but still giving the 5 star rating for beating out the horrible game stale shipleys kolaches.

Best donuts and breading on the Kolachi so soft and pulls apart like a buttery soft roll in all of alvin and I've been to alot because every corner in alvin has some kind of donut shop
