Wonderful experience! We arrived a bit later in the day, but still managed to snag some old fashioned, strawberry, blueberry, vegan coconut flake, and vegan crumb donuts! Very soft and flavorful, and the old fashioned was softer on the edges but still crispy and delightful! Lovely service, and plenty of outdoor shaded seating as well! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Get there early to make sure you get what you want!

Finally, after three prior attempts on two different trips we were able to be there when the business was open, and we are glad we did not give up. Absolutely a wonderful selection of delicious donuts and they even serve hot and cold sandwiches. The staff members were simply the best, very friendly, helpful and service with a smile. So cute!! Great local donut shop! They have some gluten free mini donut options, some vegan options, and the classics for everyone else. Server was so nice. I got 3 mini gluten free donuts for $6, two maple and one vanilla sprinkle, and they were great! No inside seating but it's very cute. There's a lot of nice outdoor seating. Kid friendly. Dank Doughnuts has officially become our favorite stop in Big Bear! My wife and I went with friends and loved it so much, we came back again within 24 hours. They Have the best doughnuts I've ever tasted. I traveled the Southern California region quite a bit for 30 years, and I'm not. kidding you. It's worth your time to go check this out the. flavors they put in it are extreme. And when they put the frostings on the top of the doughnuts and other goodies, it's also extreme. It's amazing. We tried Dank Donuts today for the first time while visiting Big Bear. They were amazing! The employee at the front was very friendly and helpful. My daughter had the gluten free donuts which she said were the best gluten free donuts she's ever had. They're mini cake donuts with various toppings and flavors. We also tried the pineapple fritter (which was huge!) , a regular apple fritter (also huge!), a Bavarian cream filled, and a few other cake donuts. They all tasted fresh and delicious! The vegan donuts were a bit dry but otherwise good. My family loved their sandwiches! No oat milk, but they do offer almond milk. It's an adorable shop and the staff were friendly.

We got a few things from here the Cinnamon Roll although huge is actually just a giant regular donut. I was a little disappointed as I was expecting it to be different inside. Stopped here for breakfast prior to heading for the zoo a few blocks away. Besides donuts, you can also get breakfast sandwiches, burritos and bagels. The burrito and bagels were tasty and we ate them at the covered seating outside the store. We ate the donuts later and all choices were good (pineapple fritter was huge). Dang. I guess I must be old because I have not purchased a donut for over 10 years now when they were 99 cents each. How on earth a donut has gotten this expensive is beyond me, but we decided to give this place a try regardless. I can't say the donuts were spectacular as we typically don't buy overpriced junk food, but they were good. We both totally got a stomach ache and felt like crap the rest of the day after eating them because all of the sugar, but they were tasty.

We found this place after going on a hike out in Big Bear. All the donuts were amazing. I got as many of the vegan donuts as I could justify eating by myself, and my friends got the regular donuts. We all loved them! Mine were amaretto frosting, maple, crumb and strawberry. I also got the veggie banh mi rice bowl which was delish. Will definitely be going back next time we go to Big Bear

Not sure what happened between last year and this year (2025) but there are only 3 types of Gluten Free donuts now compared to 6 in previous years. The Apple Fritter I bought was raw on the inside. Need to drive back for a refund. The cashier didn't even seem concerned but offered a replacement, I just asked for a refund with was no problem.

Fantastic donuts! I love the pink frosted, and the white frosted old fashioned. The small gluten free donuts are VERY rich, but also pretty tasty! The "Apple critter" is also really amazing, but again, very rich. You could easily split it with someone!

Smaller line than the other coffee place when I went on Sunday late morning. Super chill atmosphere with a great play list, good coffee (check out the the house sweet cream maple/vanilla), good donuts, they have their own canned cocktails!

Have a small selection of gluten free donuts. Cannot guarantee no cross contamination but I wanted to try and glad I did. The maple flavor was my favorite! And they had can wine which I?ve never seen before- not your common combination but when on vacation I go outside my comfort zone. The traditional donuts looked delicious. I recommend this place is worth a visit and it?s on the way to the zoo if you?re in the area.

Their blueberry donut was excellent. I was really bummed I didn't make it in time for their apple fritter because it looked amazing. They said it sold out by 9 AM! So definitely come early if you want some of their specialty items. Their cold brew was pretty average though so I do recommend going elsewhere for coffee.

Dank Donuts is great they have lots of options from breakfast food to donuts. This is a great option to go by if you want a breakfast sandwich in the morning or craving a random donut. The only reason I don't give a 5 star rating is the donuts are kind of overpriced especially when compared to nearby OJs Donuts which is a local donut shop. The staff at Dank Donuts is excellent all of my interactions with them have been good. This is definitely one of the gems of the Moonridge area.

My wife picked up some donuts on a Monday. She then drove 168 miles back home and had some leftover. They're awesome! I'm eating the last one 4 days later and it still tastes fresh and delicious.

I have been to over 200 donut shops in the last ten years (many of them multiple times), and Dank Donuts ranks at the top of the list. Their Blueberry Cake donut is hands down the very best cake donut I?ve ever eaten. Incredible flavor and perfect texture?I was blown away to find such a treasure in a such small remote place. 10/10, I will be coming in EVERY time I visit big bear. They were so good. These doughnuts are insanely rich and dense, but delicious! The texture is a bit different than a normal doughnut - much more moist and cake-like - but there are also "old fashioned" varieties with a more traditional texture if you're not into that! The patio is large, and covered, with lots of tables available. They are not only dog-friendly, but dog encouraging - they have a whole pup menu!

My son and his friend bought two dozen donuts yesterday morning at 9:00 a.m. I've never had such bad donuts in my life. They were crunchy, dry, overly sweet and most of all disappointing.

Love it here! How are the breakfast sandwiches so delicious and ready in like a minute? The croissant sandwich is also nicely flattened so it?s very easy to eat and you don?t get the crumbly flakes everywhere.
