Daily Donuts

Grass Valley is a beautiful place. Having a bite to eat and/or drink in the outdoor seating area is wonderful. I'm not overly impressed with the donuts we had, they looked over fried and were heavy. I tried the place a second time and had a drink that was good. Skipped donuts. I should try them again before making a solid judgement. Service was friendly. They had lots of customers both times therefore, it might. have been a off day for the donuts.

Love this local spot! Awesome donuts, great coffee, sweet little vibe. They?ve got a nice wide variety of donut choices, they have bagels from Bubbas Bagels, and so many drink selections. The staff here is kind, hard-working, and create a great little atmosphere. There?s a bit of a vintage/old-school vibe that I absolutely love. This place is what a donut shop should be.

We eat here all the time! We love the avocado bagel sandwich and the donuts are always fresh. I love their boba options and the owners make the boba fresh! We love this place and visit anytime we're in town to shop.

This place is great and the owners are too! My son wanted to bring doughnuts to school today for his birthday. We?ve been here multiple times before, but we?re usually late and get the last of whatever is still available (which by lunchtime, isn?t much). I wasn?t sure how great the selection would be since we?ve never arrived early enough to see the case full. We were very pleasantly surprised at all of the options! The owner was very nice and we were in and out with our boxes of doughnuts very quickly!

Disappointed!!!!! Product Quality, mediocre; Sundays are a definite must. It?s the American way to have donut Sunday. Parents and grandparents really enjoy the Sunday donut tradition. Weekends are a must! The price is profitable and the owners choose to stay home, hire a Sunday frier. Perhaps, it will come back along with the quality with different owners.

Can?t say enough about the family and food. Great hard working people making light fluffy donuts and other basic good breakfast and lunch items. Can?t go wrong with any of the donuts and you?ll almost always encounter the husband and wife owners greeting you in positive, happy and appreciative manner. They may not win a Michelin star but it will always be good.

They are never open when they say they are! We need a second donut store in town. These guys have had it made for too long!! This is normal to them. Not the first time I?ve gone over and they were closed when their advertising says they are open.

Last time I came here, they completely made me the wrong bagel sandwich. I come back this time and order two smoothies, which I noticed that the girl making them has no idea what she is doing and had no idea that she was making two, therefore didn't add the proper amount of ingredients and such, but the manager woman tells her it'll be okay and to add some more into flavor and such. Nice hole in the wall place for breakfast and lunch, if they are open that long. If they sell out, they close. Only place to get boba tea in town and good baked pastries. Prices are ok, only star lost is for the inconsistent hours of operation (completely a personal inconvenience!) Love these guys!

This is my favorite place to go to for boba in Nevada County. Staff is super friendly and the store is quaint. Their donuts are great too.

My family loves this place! There are no vegan pastry/donut options, but we still find ourselves coming back for boba. They do have almond milk as an alternative option to cows milk for boba teas/smoothies though. And the real reason this is our go-to boba? The owners. Without question... The "Best tasting" donuts... Period! Always fresh. Always a great selection. Fast and efficient service as well. If you go Saturday mornings, you get a bonus of a parking lot FULL of classic hotrod's, too! I travel a lot. Have not found another donut shop equal to their quality and taste! Made fresh daily and locally the best donuts in town! I?ve heard people come from far just to try their donuts. I?m one of those people! You?re in for a treat because it?s not the usual franchised chain donuts. Also, their service is great! The staffs are some of the friendliest I?ve met; I?m always greeted with warm smiles and friendly conversations.

I've been visiting the Daily Donut since I can remember and it's fantastic. There are so many options in donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffees, teas, bottled drinks, and even boba!! They are the Best Donuts in Grass Valley or Nevada City, there is no competition, but they are also the best donuts in the foothills! Amazing owners & they really put all their heart and soul in to their product.

They have the best donuts, fritters, cinnamon rolls, muffins, croissant sandwiches, blender drinks, etc. We always stop there when we go to Grass Valley. These are the best for miles around! When they sell out of their daily stock, they close. So get there early! Quick, friendly service!

This is a true donut place. What we call in the south "A Hole In The Way." The donuts are fresh. The coffee is good. They offer bagel sandwiches, other breakfast sandwiches. The ham and cheese croissant is very delicious. I like that they have regular size donut holes and jumbo size. And on Saturdays between 8am and 10am the motor club is sometimes there so you can view the classic cars.

Very very friendly staff, they make the best donuts in town but need to get there early because they sell out quick. Thanks for providing our community with such good service and donuts.

Best donuts I've had, period. Always fresh, the dough is light and fluffy, and the glaze tastes like real sugar. They have real cream and half and half for their coffee, which is as good as you could expect from a donut shop, and they have a decent selection. In a time when it is easier and cheaper for most companies to have their donuts made offsite (looking at you Dunkin'), Daily makes theirs fresh in the store every single day. Got the taro coconut and that was good. Also, got the chai iced tea and the whole cup was full of ice and it took 3 drinks and it was gone. I asked how much for a refill because I didn?t think that was very fair and she said that that?s the normal amount of ice and I was like but that?s the whole cup full. Absolutely love Daily Donuts! My go to stop for a treat with the kids, or without :) Super friendly family of folks that always go above and beyond! 3 years of my highschool youth was spent working at Winchell's Donuts, love or hate then it's a metric. More importantly, the those years wore me out on donuts so for me to give a donut shop a 5 star means something. We go to Daily Fonuts often for "cars and coffee" it's incredibly busy and their service is impeccable and their product is so tasty that even this "I can't eat donuts" girl always has two.

Great place to start a Saturday! Car show out front on fair weather days. They have donuts they make and also Bubba?s Bagels, along with coffees and teas.

They had limited supply but the owner/manger was very helpful and I would come again. I would order ahead next time so I can get more variety, but the donuts available were delicious. There are cute holiday ones available to.

Check your total once you get charged. The Asian guy that's normally there charges extra for the food you get. Last time we paid almost $50 for just a couple of sandwiches and drinks. And once it was brought up about the prices somehow it went down to $37. So again check your prices once you pay, the guy will do anything to avoid eye contact with you once he charges the total amount. Beware they want to charge you extra for stuff you didn't get.

I am a complete doughnut Fein , sooooo I recently moved from Sacramento and I was missing my daily fix of coffee and doughnuts... So I was reluctant to try a new place in gear of being let down. Well Daily doughnut has lived up to Star doughnut and surpassed them with there doughnut quility and coffee the Vietnamese iced coffee is the bestest ever! I love the staff they are so welcoming and you will never leave disappointed.... Can't wait till my next visit!!

Best doughnut place in town. Just come early as you can so they aren't sold out of everything good. Plus it's more fresh that way too. The hot chocolate is good for wintertime.

It's been a year since I moved to Sac and had my last donut here. I've tried at least 7 different donut shops in the Sacramento area and not a single one of them comes close to this place. I think I may have to make a special trip up there just to get some of their donuts and bring them home

Good food with friendly and helpful staff. Service is quick and they offer a wide range of pastries in addition to coffee, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. There are 2 refrigerators with cold beverages such as juices, cold teas, and sodas.

Good people. My card was having difficulty processing an order,. And they were kind enough to let me leave with food I ordered and to come back and pay later......awesome!

The most frustrating donut shop I have ever been to. Between the construction / Landscaping crew of at least 15 people that shuts down the shop for a random 30+ minutes every day, and all the chocolate donuts being gone by 9, I usually end up leaving here empty-handed

BOMB donuts! This place has been here for decades and for good reason. The fritters are my favorite. They also serve sandwiches, coffee and Boba teas.

Best doughnuts in Grass Valley and the bagel sandwiches are the BOMB too. The only place I know that has Boba Tea and smoothies.
