Daddy Donut

Their mochi donuts are good but lack toppings/flavor. The texture was good, but the flavor was only so-so because they went skimpy on the toppings, specifically the churro and raspberry funnel cake, I wouldn't get these two again. The strawberry shortcake was good, though!

I went in on Monday having never tried Korean hot dogs or mochi donuts. The customer service was great! The young woman at the front counter gave me a lot of suggestions, popular items, and some of her favorites. I took everything home and it was all fantastic. Overall a great experience!

The donuts were ok but the boba drink only tasted like milk and the corn dog was a soggy mess. The breading immediately fell off. The inside of the store was also super dirty. There were black marks all over the walls and the small table inside was dirty.

Excuse me being almost a year late lol. But my first time ever trying Mochinut was on December 26, 2022. I absolutely loved it! I?ve been to other locations afterwards of course, but this particular location was so warm and welcoming. It?s nice and cozy and gives you a more personal feel. The customer service was excellent and she was very patient with us because we had no idea what we wanted to order! Luckily, everything we ordered at this location was delicious!

Came here early Saturday morning. Got Half a dozen doughnuts and two corn dogs with 1 customer in the lobby waiting for their order and nothing else and ended up waiting 35 mins!!! I'm more than understanding waiting when a restaurant is busy and has other orders but nobody else was here and the service sucked. The following people who came in after me we also getting upset after they placed there order and it took forever. Never again, I will go other places that are better.

We placed an order on Uber Eats. None of us had tried Mochinut donuts before. So far, the chocolate and cookies n creme are so delicious. I love the presentation such artwork placed and it says they change the flavors every week. Downside, Uber Eats if use prices went up for delivery and mochi donuts individually online are priced at $3 each however at the time of our order for 3 of the 12 total we got a BOGO ( buy one get one free) deal. The mochinuts are fluffy and chewy and not overly sweet, very reminiscent of mochi! We tried the Classic and smores flavors. Both were very delicious. I look forward to trying other flavors. We also tried a classic hot dog as well as a potato mozzarella. I definitely recommend the potato mozzarella. The hot dogs are really good, tasted like an all beef hot dog. Edit 2/27/2022 I tried the Ube Milk Tea this time and WOW! I definitely recommend it. If you aren't familiar, ube has a nutty, vanilla type flavor

It is hard to find a good fresh mochi donut in Las Vegas. This place, like many, served donuts that had been sitting for a while and mochi donuts are really only good when they are fresh so the texture was ok but not thoroughly impressed. I ordered Uber eats from here and half of my items weren?t delivered. I thought maybe the driver forgot a bag so I drove down there to see if my food was still there. The lady at the counter checked the system and remembered packing all my items but she was so sweet she remade my order and gave me a few extra donuts to make up for the inconvenience. Obviously it wasn?t her fault, but her kindness and professionalism really impressed me. I really appreciate that and I just wanted to share this is a great bus

Daddy Donut, formerly Mochinut, is as good as always! Brought home a box and was overjoyed that the quality hasn't changed with the name change. I ordered the mango, strawberry shortcake, and guava, but there are plenty of flavors to make the whole family happy. Aside from the mochi donuts, there are other sweet and savory treats to enjoy. Beautiful shop with a little sitting area too if you can't wait to take them home!

Service was awesome...what can I say. I appreciate knowledgeable people who exceed my expectations in customer service. The young man at the counter gave me every dipping sauce for my mozzarella on a stick concoction and let me sample a mini piece of mochinut with Ube before I made a purchase ??. I will say that these are an immediate eat only, they don't preserve for later consumption at all. If you wait to eat them, say the next day, they get chewy and gummy like. Love Daddy Donut!! I work in the complex and they are a frequent stop for me. The maple donut is my favorite and the mozzarella corn dog is so delicious. Diana is the best <3

I just found this place, and I feel like I've missed out!!! These donuts are different than the standard for sure, maybe less sugar? Such a unique flavor. I had a few randomly picked by staff and every one was so good, not a single bad flavor!!! And the corn dogs!! Omg, the crispy Ramen one slaps!!!! ?????? I will definitely be back. Buying these for my work, and for family for the holidays.

Appears I was in the middle of a Mid-afternoon lunch rush. However I was the only one there. 30 minutes for donuts and hot dogs when it wasn?t busy. 3 employees in the BOH. Get it together, please. You?ve got a great product, but service could be faster.

I like the doughnuts although it?s a bit sweet and chewy. Definitely, not my typical doughnut i?ll be craving for. In some way it?s good to try something different. Overall, not going to buy a box again since it?s pretty pricey.

O k that was the best donuts i've ever had in my life imagine the best funnel cake donut it's so delicious ?? WOW!!! That was my only thought as I was eating the treat I purchased while here. It tasted so friggin good I asked an employee who made the.. Just so happens I asked THE one who made it. I believe her name is Michelle, she is covered with beautiful tattoos making my experience even better cuz as we all know...food is not only about taste but moreso of presentation. She was kind bright and beautiful which how I felt while eating my treats!!!

Drove 30 minutes out here to come in get a Boba walked in greeted. The owner asked her how her day was going. She seemed very moody and attitude proceeded to ask if we could do two drinks or mix them. She said no only to charge double because she doesn?t have a way to adjust it however she is said owner also rude as hell ! I Proceeded to ask for a tai chi with light cream she then corrects me and tells me it doesn?t come with cream. It comes with milk. I said OK well same thing can I just get light she goes

Today was my first visit to Mochinut, and I must say Yum! It was clean and everyone was very nice. I got the potato cheese and a Lychee lemonade. I would have gotten a picture of my cheese pull but the first bite was soooo good I ate it all before I remembered the picture lol. Best thing I have ever tried I will for sure be coming back. We also tried a brown sugar Boba and a churro mochi doughnut all very good.

I came in tonight because i was in last night and Michelle the head baker is just awesome so nice and funny msde me feel as always so welcomed with her jokes she came out the back dancing made me laugh i came in for her new Valetines flavors she told me about yesterday omg her new very berry red velvet taste just like a chocolate covered cherry so good!!!! To die for my all time favorite i got a dozen of them ill be back for that flavor for sure sooooo good!!!!!!

What a creative place to eat! Rice Hot Dogs in so many creative ways - you need to come back and try something new each time. The Mochinuts are so delicious and would be a great switch for your sales meeting. Chef Uber recommends - come and get yours.

On one hand, the doughnuts aren't that big and they aren't that cheap. On the other hand, the texture is unique in the best way possible and they are delicious. You can't argue with excellence but you can dock one star for charging $15 for 6 not-so-big doughnuts. Visiting from Ohio - wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast, saw Daddy Donut and decided to give it a try and it was amazing! The Mango Passion glaze is incredible and the Raspberry glaze tastes like fresh raspberries! (I usually avoid raspberry flavors at chain places because it tastes like scented candles). Owner was incredibly friendly, exceptionally accommodating of gluten allergies, and the donuts and coffee were delicious! Definitely stop here, you'll love it!

Went for the Dubai strawberry cup and Dubai mochi donut and Korean hot dog everything was delicious and even video games free play great place will go back for Dubai chocolate bar .

My daughter is gluten free and she absolutely loves these donuts. My husband and I also think they are yummy! Our daughter is so excited that she has a place to go get a gluten free donut. Customer service is amazing. We definitely love Daddy Donuts!

Both of my Korean hot dogs still had uncooked batter inside, and a couple of my donuts were hard, seemed stale. Won?t be coming back

The corndogs 5/5 were good made to order, they were hot, and the oil seemed fresh. A large selection of sauces to top them. The donuts 1/5 I liked nothing about these, we tried 2 of them, the chocolate one was okay the chocolate on top was very rich couldn't even eat the whole donut. and a raspberry something. It was bland. The textures were weird, not your typical donut. It had more of a chewy dense texture. They were edible.

I had high hopes about this place, and maybe it was a bad baking day, but the batch of mochi doughnuts i got tasted stale, and not what was expected from the previous reviews.

I tried Mochi donuts for the first time at this location. The store was extremely clean and inviting. The gentlemen who assisted me offered advice on the most popular. The donuts were DELICIOUS and I would highly recommend the maple and strawberry mochi donuts, but the banana bread cake donut was hands down my favorite! So fresh and so good!

The donuts are 10/10. The drinks are like 4/10. The brown sugar milk teas taste like straight up milk. We got one almond milk and one regular both had no flavor.

Excellent donuts. You'll find flavors here you can't find Anywhere else. The service was excellent also. The atmosphere doesn't quite leave you comfortable enough to want to stay there and enjoy your donuts. But with some small changes that could be fixed. I'll definitely be visiting this place again.

Considering this is a small business, now that it left its franchise, the quality is amazing! The owners I?m assuming were so kind and let us know which mochi donuts were their best sellers! I hadn?t ever had a mochi donut but now that I have, i don?t know if I can even go back to a regular donut! Their Brown Sugar tea was so good! Definitely recommend this place as a must try! 10/10

Blueberry yuzu and Ube donut are GREAT, also got a Thai tea with boba and they put it in a fun little clear can so you can take it to go. All the donuts I tried were delicious and staff is really nice. Honestly sad we don?t have one in Phoenix. Will come back when in Vegas :)

Not locals but come down quite often. All the times we have been to this place Dianna is very helpful when we aren?t sure what to get and has very good customer service. The corn dogs are amazing and so is the boba.

I ubered the CakeMochi , Ube Mochi , & Lemon Custard Mochi ! All the flavors are delicious ! The Cake Mochi is definitely a good balance between Cake & Mochi . The Lemon Curd was Zingy & definitely curdy. Ube icing was also tasty. The doughnuts were Impeccably FRESH & moist , & chewy . I'm not sure how Mochi doughnuts are made but i appreciate them not tasting like any oil. Krispy Creme are so oily and have no substance. Daddy doughnuts was fulfilling ??

My niece loves this place!! Always good, great quality and very pretty boxes. This business used to be Mochinut but now it?s Daddy Donut! Great mochi donuts but better quality and most beautiful boxes!! I will continue to frequent this place and enjoy their delicious mochi donuts and drinks!

My husband and I stopped in 15 minutes before they closed. The donuts were amazing!!! Owner was great and patient with us. I have a berry allergy so we asked a lot of questions and he answered them all.

I've had a good chunk of the menu items here and they were all fantastic. From the Boba tea to the Korean style corn dogs. Only odd thing is the store is now labeled as Daddy Donut. Haven't been since they changed the name.

I?ve grown to Love the mochi donuts. Most of the time they are cold/room temperature but still very good. The employees are always very welcoming as well.

Got this postmated and it was so good. It traveled so well. I got the raspberry funnel cake donut. Came looking picture perfect and it wasn't overly sweet. Just the right amount. I also got the strawberry milk tea with boba. They package the milk teas in plastic cans with aluminum tops so no way to spill. I will absolutely be getting this again.

We've never had a bad experience when ordering Mochinut. The staff is nice, the place is clean, the drinks are good and the food is consistant which convinces me that they take great pride in their donuts. Someday we will try some of their hot dogs just for the fun of it. 5 stars all the way.

This place is so tasty and fresh! They always have great fast service. A must try is the boba drinks. My favorite is the brown sugar boba or the lychee limonade with boba, which is amazing. The korean corn dogs and donuts are so delicious. You cant go wrong here. It's definitely a 10/10 for me

So I think I was in the store at the same time as the guy Jacob who just posted two one star reviews under different accounts. Heis a bad actor who is paid to give bad reviews or is just a male Karen. Just look at his past reviews. And he lied. He never spoke to the manager. A whiny Uber driver who thinks he should get priority over other customers.

The mochinuts are delicious and the brown milk tea was awesome. My only recommendation is noting the dairy allergen in the milk teas and advertising there is a non-dairy alternative. Otherwise, our desserts were great. I look forward to trying other items when we go back.

This place is great! I had never tried a Korean corn dog and the staff was very helpful in their recommendations. seriously YUM! I got the half and half corn dog with honey mustard and it was ???? We didn't realize when we got there but they were definitely trying to close haha they didn't even mention it! Mochi donuts are so good and this place has some seriously good ones. We'll be back!

First tried this place when they opened.. Up front the taste is there, but is followed by a heavy oil after taste. Doughnuts were not oily, but the taste was there. Tried other mochi doughnut places around the valley that were spot on. Went back to mochinut to see if it was a bad batch, months later. Still, heavy oil after taste. For what they charge, they need to figure this out, absolutely ruins the taste.

The corn dogs are UNREAL! My husband and I tried the hot cheeto with mozzarella and the potato with hot dog and were blown away by both! One of the best things we?ve ever eaten. Definitely definitely recommend this place! So yummy

Mochi donuts have QUICKLY replaced real donuts for me- so light and airy, with such a uniquely satisfying chewy texture, but wrapped inside a perfectly deep fried classic-donut-tasting exterior. Mochinut always tastes phenomal- so fresh, such fun flavors, and the perfect ratio of icing to donut. I could eat them every day and not get sick of them! This review is all about the lilikoi (Hawaiian for passion fruit) mochinut. It. Is. Unbelievable. Now, passion fruit is probably my all-time favorite flavor. But this could be a favorite for pretty much everyone. The flavor of the lilikoi glaze is absolutely, totally, and completely fresh passion fruit + sugar. There's nothing better in the world. Then you put that on a donut that is half French cruller, half traditional yeast-raised donut, and alllll mochi goodness, and it's a win. Tart-hater hubby wolfed
