Genuinely the best donuts I?ve had to date. I didn?t realize how incredible these donuts are until I moved to Salt Lake City, and I am still on a hunt for a donut place that even comes close to DK. The donuts are beautifully fried, fluffy, and the perfect balance of sweet. Their maple flavor is unmatched.

Solid old school donut place that offers a lot of choices in donuts. DK donuts has the most amazing donuts! Toppings stay on and dough is cloud-like. Service is friendly and amazing. I love that they are staying in their downtown location and making it beautiful.

I stopped in to buy 4 dozen donuts. I?m standing at the counter waiting and nobody even acknowledged I was there. There were other patrons also waiting. Then a guy walks in and they immediately begin helping him. Terrible way to operate. Took my business elsewhere.

Head over early and grab yourself some of the softest and yummiest donuts in town. I love the old fashion blueberry one and my husband loves the bacon maple one. We just recently picked up some of the sprinkle donuts for a baby sprinkle we were hosting and they were a hit!

Very dark and cluttered. Lady at counter was rude. Food tasted old. No place to sit. No public restrooms. Not alot of doughnut types. Man in back was outside, then came in, and he didn't wash his hands. Touched food. I threw my food away and left

They currently offer discounted donuts on "Too Good To Go" and we've been getting a box a week. They are fresh, soft, and delicious donuts!

This used to be my favorite place! USED TO BE! Now the doughnuts are very dry and taste a few days old. They're always out of all the flavors we love with very few others, no matter what time of day we go. Prices have literally doubled. There hasn't been ANY upkeep of the building itself- inside or out, except adding the new marquis to hike prices! ?????????

Guru looked good but it took 3 staff members 12 min to serve one person their donut. DK there was an elderly woman than turned out our box of a dozen in 2 min. I think they spent their time in making the donuts rather than taking their time serving them. They were so good they didn't make it to the car.

We were in town visiting family and we got up this morning really wanting doughnuts so we thought we'd give D K Donuts a try. We were not disappointed. The doughnuts tasted very good and they were also very fresh. We don't do a lot of doughnuts so it's nice when they turn out this good. We will definitely find our way there next time we're in town.

By far the best donuts I've ever had. The donuts are always fresh, light and fluffy, the service is excellent and their hours are quite convenient. The shop is nothing fancy but the donuts are always perfect.

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A PLACE So I went into DK donuts Monday morning, I walked in and it was a complete joke! There was spiders and fly?s and even some cockroaches literally all over the place. Great Donuts. Great selection. Making them fresh all morning. They do go quick, because space is limited and quantities are low. As people are buying multiple dozen. But they're trying to get him out as quickly as possible. And you usually have really fresh donuts. Good coffee and good prices. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

A Maple donut with bacon...I really didn't know how incomplete my life was. I really enjoy this place and the owners. Super clean and ultra friendly. But get there early if you want a wider variety of choices because they only cook for that day so when items run out they are gone. That's the reason for the 4.5 rating. The coffee is also good. Not to strong.

These guys make a twisted Maple donut with chocolate drizzle and the bread is so soft and moist! I'm homegrown in Boise and NEVER found a donut that parallels this one! Magnificent! Go early tho they have a following! PERFECTION!

This place may sell good, fresh donuts at times, but I picked up a dozen around 8am and they tasted like they were 3 days old. Anywhere else would have been better tasting than these. The price is also not excellent as stated in other reviews. A dozen of basic donuts (especially when stale) for $9 is not cheap.

I go here on average once a week. The donuts are excellent and usually very fresh, even in the evening (it's open until 9 pm at the time of this writing) and it's run by a woman who I swear works there all day every day of the week with her son. Best donuts in town.

We have visited this place a few times now and have tried quite a few of their offerings. While their main items are sweet donuts, this place does offer a few savory items. The one that we have tried is the grown up version of pigs in a blanket. Also, their donuts are consistently delicious and not cloyingly sweet.

It's the closest donut shop to home. It was super crowded on Saturday morning, could barely get in the door. The donuts are good. They sell day old donuts as fresh. I live close by and at closing time the old woman that works there said she would not sell the donuts cheaper because she will just sell them tomorrow. I'm not trying to get free donuts but at closing time you should give a bit of a discount.

I have been going to this establishment off and on since the early 70's. Starting with Winchell's Donuts,it was an every day treat. Then things changed several different things. And one big change was the loss of the neighborhood feel. And I finally caught up and found a most delightful return of a very good donut shop again. Thank you DK Donuts.

Hands down the best donuts in downtown Boise. Thry have extremely light, crispy, and fresh maple bars with a great assortment of other donuts but the maple bars are my favorite. Prices are super affordable and the employees are always very kind. Open early for pre work pickup.

My son and I call it going for an adventure. Usually it begins around 5:00a after a rough night and my wife needs a bit more sleep. The little guy and I stop at DK for donuts, drive down to the Starbucks on 17th and State for coffee and hot chocolate, then to the top of one of the downtown parking garages to checkout the lights of Boise and depending on the time of year, watch the sunrise over the foothills. Stop in early for their best selection, because they do sell out. You can also get coffee to go. Guru is where you go for custom made donuts, but for everyday donuts, D K is right up there with Pastry Perfection and Country Donuts.

I found this place while on a Greyhound bus trip from Lincoln, Nebraska to Portland, Oregon. It was the only place near the Greyhound bus station. A week later my boyfriend took the same Greyhound from Evanston, Wyoming to Portland and I begged him to stop by and bring me back some of their donuts. He did. Today I'm in Boise, amazingly and had to stop again. It's my favorite donut shop in the world! Thank you Mr. Long for your incredible donuts!

First time ordered a apple fritter a bear claw a cinnamon roll a creamfilled pastry and a small hot mocha. But they suddenly ran out of every donuts the next time I tried ordering. Just how many donuts can they make and seems like they run out of everything so quick.

Well regarded among all the locals I know as the best donut shop in town. If you like more cake-y donuts I'd recommend Guru. But if you want the traditional donut shop with lighter dough and all your favorites, D K is the place to go. I've come to know their bacon maple bars as their signature donut (first place I've seen do it). They do it really well, the bacon is good bacon, thick chunks, not bacon bits for a salad, or cheap "fast food" bacon.

Came on a Saturday at 1pm and wasn't expecting there to be much of a selection left but I was surprised at the variety that was left. Got a vanilla iced donut and it was phenomenal! Will definitely be back!

DK isn't fancy, but they have the best donuts in Boise. Especially their braids and cake donuts. My favorites are the cherry cake, blueberry cake and chocolate braids. They have 5 air pots with delicious serve-yourself coffee. Love it!

Just what we needed for a trip up the i21 to Stanley. Tasty donuts

One of the best classic donut shops in town. None of that too sweet Krispy Cream style donut coated in sprinkles or filled with cheap sugar goo. The DK donuts are classic and delicious. Yum yum yum. Suggest picking up 6 or twelve and heading to a local park with the kids. Helps burn off the sugar rush... then head home for a nice sugar crash/play induced nap after.

My favorite is their cinnamon twists, a kind of doughnut that isn't often available elsewhere . . . although come to think of it, it's available here only about 20% of the time. Nice people; free, easy parking and usually only a short wait in line for choosing your doughnuts. Try to avoid using their restrooms, though-- they are the nastiest I have seen in Boise. However, upon reviewing my receipt once I got home (I had 2 kids under 4 with me) I found that I was charged twice for the milk we bought. Went in around 4:30 AM to pick up donuts to go. Old lady was rather nasty and impatient, despite the fact that I pointed out that I was a first-time customer. The donuts were stale and tasteless. Place seemed dirty. Not expensive but then sometimes you get what you pay for. Will never return.
