While the interior looks like your basic small town donut place, the donuts taste a lot better than those. Just trying one donut hole told me the difference. Most places seem to use the same batter but this place makes them taste like vanilla. We wanted to try almost all the donuts and while we were picking through them, the worker did everything with a smile while also simultaneously working the drive thru. She bounced around and never showed discomfort and annoyance. She was happy to add filling to some w

I love these people! I live behind the shop and get off work super late and they?re always in there early early, hustling away, prepping everything up. Delicious! The glazed donuts are crisp, airy and delicate. The chocolate icing is well balanced and it is not too sweet or bitter. I will definitely visit again! Congrats!
I go here once or twice a week to get my kids a couple doughnut holes. The people working there are always very friendly, and the doughnuts are great.

This place is so cute! Love the decor. Everything is tied together just perfect with the coolest craft decor creating a welcoming and fun homey atmosphere! You'll get a big smile and the friendliest of greetings when you walk in. You'll immediately feel like their most important customer. (They also have a drive through and service is incredibly speedy!) Prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of the items are outstanding! I don't know that I've had a donut anywhere else that was this delicious. T
Who needs atmosphere at a donut store with AMAZING gluten free donuts?? It was clean. The lady who waited on us was pleasant and friendly. But the real deal was they had maple, strawberry, chocolate and plain glazed gluten free donuts! And they were not as dense as hockey pucks. The texture and the flavor were really good. I have been gluten free for a year and these are by far the best donuts I have had. NOTE: I am gluten sensitive and not celiac. They only have gluten free donuts on Saturday and Sunday.
I have been living in Lakeway for over a year now and I just recently found out about Crown Donut after going to other places in the local area for the longest. Now I am obsessed and have become a regular. These are handsdown the best donuts in the area. They aren't too sweet they're made just right. Soft and light to the touch. The hazlenut coffee is great! The kolaches and breakfast sandwiches warmed up are phenomenal! And the lady is so nice! If you order a donut(s) she'll always throw in a donut hole. :
Fresh, fresh, fresh! Friendly staff, decent seating. Breakfast sandwich (croissant) was very good, and the ?ol fashion?s vanilla flavor was exceptional!

Amazing donuts! Amazing kola he's of regular and jumbo size. And there is this spinach pastry that is like a delicious hand held spinach quiches for breakfast. It was buttery, flakey and delicious. The staff is awesome too. The lady that owns it makes kids feel so special and welcomed and puts smiles and everyone's face. She works with her son who is jusy as friendly and engaging.
Updated Review: Crown Donuts went under new ownership the past few years. The new owners are phenomenal. Always a large selection of great food (kolaches, croissants, varieties of donuts). Very friendly service. My go-to for breakfast on Sundays
As much as I'd like to avoid donut shops like wildfires; this place is too tasty. My son loves ?? the watermelon donuts shaped as triangles. I dig the sausage kolaches; the bread ?? is exquisitely fresh!
This donut shop is delicious, the ladies and gentlemen that work here are kind and quick. They serve you with a smile and are patient while you pick out your goodies and are more than happy to answer any and all of your questions. Can?t go wrong with the glazed in my opinion however my mom and husband loved the blueberry donuts so much we went back the next morning for more!
The only people that don?t rate this place a 5 have either never eaten and are mad because they were closed when they tried to go here, or like that one got who already eats here every day but gave Crown only two stars because it doesn?t look like what he thinks it should look like. The woman who owns this place works so hard to make the most consistent and delicious donuts and kolaches I?ve ever had. I do eat here often and look forward to it when I do. We stopped in for a late breakfast and we were glad we did. They do not disappoint. They have donuts, kolaches and crossiant sandwiches. The fry and glaze on the donut is light, just how I like it. Not too greasy. The kolache dough was light and fluffy as well. They have a varied selection of donuts, kolaches and sandwiches. There are also coolers with drinks too. The staff was very friendly too. We definitely will be back.
I think my experience was just average. Donuts are ok, Kolaches were good. I was overcharged for an extra donut. The extra charge plus the credit card fees were like 20% of my order cost which sucks. Personally, that just feels like a poor customer experience. Owner reached out and is going look into it.
Love this place, go here almost everyday and the donuts are excellent. Especially next day refrigerated donuts:) But the state of the place is in desperate need of cleaning and updating. I've never really understood how someone can own a food place and not take pride in the cleanliness, especially what is visible to customers.

This place was a favorite of my family. The doughnuts and pastries were always light and delicious. That is no longer true. Obviously, the owner has changed the quality of the ingredients. The doughnuts are now heavy with a greasy aftertaste. Too bad! I will no longer be a customer.
Received excellent service on a Saturday morning. The jalape?o cheese kolaches were soft and fluffy and the apple fritters were big and crispy. The most unique items were the blueberry cake donut holes which I wish all donut shops carried.

I always knew this place was here, but I always saw the long line and went to ?the other donut shop in Lakeway?. So, after recently pulling up to the drive thru at ?the other place? and not getting any service for five minutes (thank you by the way to them), I decided to try Crown Donut. I?m super glad I did and now I get why the line is always long. Service is fast and friendly. Every item I?ve ordered from the menu is great and the line may be long but it moves fast. Thankful that ?the other place? lost
Another one of those small town establishments that makes you feel like the very 1st customer they've ever had. Love the staff, the regular glazed donuts are off the charts (not Round Rock donuts off the charts, but close), and actually very decent coffee for a donut shop... solid B+ lol Also, noticeably clean. I know theres a few of you that can walk in a place and feel either nasty and grimyness, or clean crisp air. This place is the 2nd one ??
$24 for 6 donuts! 2 were specialty that do not have the 6.99 price listed anywhere .. the other 4 were plain sprinkle. Just beware
Well.. I ordered a few apple fritters. They weighed like 5 pounds each..burnt.. And just doughy. The lady was rushing me but no-one else was in drive thru or in store. First time here so maybe I will try again. Apple fritters were so gross though.

Very friendly Korean donut shop right off the main road. A nice little variety of donuts and kolaches. The apple fritter was heaven.. Korean donut shops are in a league of their own.
Love that you can pick your own fillings. Chocolate frosted and raspberry filled is the best. The apple fritters are very good as well. Great local spot for donuts.
