Visiting from Delaware and we visiting some other shops so the family could experience a crueler and long John. This place was impressive. Do not let the line fool you?they move fast! So many online orders ready to go so that?s an option too. We were impressed with the taste and as my son said, ?these are the best donuts we?ve had while in Wisconsin!? Cranky's was recommended to me by my barber across the street. I walked over and picked up a half dozen donuts along with a nitro cold brew coffee. These are probably the best donuts that I've had in Milwaukee. I can't believe I didn't know about this place earlier, but I don't get down to Wauwatosa that often. First time coming to Cranky Al's and my kids and i loved it. The donits were fresh and delicious! We also ordered a hot chocolate and it was very good.

Disappointed here. The donuts looked good but they were slightly stale and lacking good flavor. We got the biscoff, the cronut and the chocolate cream filled. None of them were worth saying much about besides being way too expensive for what you get.

Cranky?s catered my wedding this past weekend, and it went so smoothly! Joe really makes planning easy and we were able to order 6 different varieties of donuts so everyone could have something they liked! Great place to stop for breakfast and coffee! I highly recommend the raspberry truffle latte, although they do not make iced drinks. Been in here plenty of times over the years, at least since 2015 or so and I'm hit or miss on them. They have pretty solid donuts, not the best I've ever had (RIP to Hankersons in West Bend) , but normally a really good (and unique) rectangular crueller and some interesting flavor choices. We LOVE Cranky Al's and get their donuts maybe too much :) We love them so much that we had them cater our wedding dessert! Joey was so easy to work with! We've been coming to Cranky's for 5 years just for donuts. We live an hour away, and today we branched out and could not have been more delighted. We have the meat lovers breakfast pizza and the waffle battered chicken with syrup. Both were phenomenal. I highly recommend trying their different breakfast options. Donuts have a nice crisp outter shell but on the inside they are warm and moist. They are packed with awesome flavors and the variety is great. Great doughnuts. Fantastic pizza at 6am. I wanted to maintain a 5, the apple fritter was amazing. But for some reason it took over 20 minutes to get my sandwich. That doesn't include line time. This is a casual place. That wait time after ordering is ridiculous. 25 minutes now. If I hadn't paid I'd walk out. Got the Sandwich. Maybe it was the wait but it seems unimpressive. Where do I start?! We had Cranky's donuts at our wedding and they were one of the biggest hits that day. Joey was so cool and easy to communicate with during our planning process and the lead time was so quick. He wasn't pushy at all and provided helpful and meaningful recommendations. And of course, the donuts were SO good. We ordered 100 + a giant donut for a guest list of 80 and every single donut was gone by the end of the night!

If you live in Tosa and haven't been here you need to make it happen. My kids love the donuts and I love how excited they get. Good coffee and egg sandwiches, as well. Can get busy on weekends, so plan to wait a few minutes in line.

Best doughnuts around, travelled over a half hour to get them. Always fresh and a great variety. Get there early, was there 5 minutes after it opened at 6am and there was a line and things were flying off the shelf!

You can't go wrong with Cranky's, doughnuts may be a little pricey but they are worth every penny. Hell some of them are as big and fulfilling.

I used to live over here and this was my first time back since moving. I have a few favorite menu items -- this one's the tomato 3 cheese bagel sandwich. It has a firey ghost pepper cheese (among other cheeses), and it is not for the weak!!! Staff is always friendly and quick. I've never known this place pre-COVID but I can't wait to safely be able to sit here and enjoy my breakfast. Also, another great breakfast choice is the chorizo burrito. I?m giving a 1 on service just to make a point. I know multiple people that go in just for maple bacon donuts and they almost always runout before 9am. Wife and I stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. Doughnuts were very good and we?d happily get them again but the coffee we ordered was mediocre. These doughnuts are so good! They exceeded our expectations and gave a whole new meaning to classy doughnuts. The buttercream filling is so much better than the normal sugary filling you get at other doughnut shops. Make sure to order ahead online!
