Steve hosted an absolutely stellar class?well thought out, engaging, and packed with expertise. We love Country Mill!! Excellent selection of organic apples, which is hard to find. The donuts are an absolute must try- they have different flavors depending on the season and are all very good. We loved getting them fresh and enjoying them with apple cider. It?s a great place for family fun and I love that they don?t charge extra to explore things around the farm. The sunflower fields in late summer are amazing too.

This place is amazing! Went here with my mom and my family friend. It was very busy, but I had a fun experience here. Saw a couple beautiful horses as depicted in the photos below. Tons of pumpkins there that?s for sure! I also got some nice video clips for my YouTube channel best! and the best part about this place is the cider! The cider is amazing!! Steve, the owner, generously donated his time and expertise to home fruit tree growers today. Thank you for an informative lesson on how to maintain and grow our apple and peach trees. Took a road trip to Michigan and found this gem. The farm experience was amazing. The staff were so friendly and outgoing. The fresh doughnuts were the bomb. I was assisted by Crimmson, Denise, Kim, Steve J, and a few others that I didn't get to note their names. They helped me spend my money. ;-) This stop was definitely a highlight of my trip. I picked up doughnuts, 3 bottles of wine as gifts, apple butter, 4 bottles of Apple Cider Vinegar, Cool coffee cups, a cider slushy, and of course a bunch of apples

First time visitors and we are new to the area so both Bridget and Christy took time out of their busy day to help orientate us and tell us all about the farm and what they offer there. Looks like a great place with reasonable prices and tasty donuts! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

One of the friendliest and most helpful apple orchard and pumpkin and blueberry buying establishments in Michigan. We have been coming her for over 20 years. This is a great family with stellar morals and values that owns and operates this business. Anyone saying other wise is most likely someone filled with worldly hate and sent here to attack something good and wholesome. Thank you for the fruit tree pruning seminar. Great orchard! Even though I'm tech savvy and can navigate their online map - I would still like to see more signs marking the Apple varieties. Still, love this place. It's our second year visiting and will become our go-to orchard every fall. (I enjoyed stopping in their market in the off season when I would be in the area.)

We LOVED The Country Mill! It was our first time there, so we didn?t know what to expect, but the staff was SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY! They showed us exactly what to do and helped us so much! We had so much fun! The selection was great and we can?t wait to go try the things we bought! We really appreciated the help and kindness Riley and Deniese showed us! This place is amazing visited yesterday and had an amazing time. The cider was delicious the donuts were fresh and warm . Absolutely loved it there's plenty to do and a wide variety of on site made products. From the donuts and cider to Carmel apples made as you watch. If you get a chance you have to check it out . The kids will have a blast too. There are horse drawn wagons and an apple cannon. It was busy so plan on taking your time to see everything.

I?ve been going here since I was a little girl. Now that I have a daughter of my own we visit here every time we are in Michigan. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They do a wonderful job making this cider mill feel so welcoming and fun. I love that I get to share this magical piece of my childhood with my children.

Lots of apples and beautiful sunflowers! We went back this year again and there are so many apples: U-pick price is $15 for half brush bag (~20 lbs). We were just in time for Honeycrips, Empire, Golden Delicious, Mac, organic Liberty, organic Jonthan. We passed by so many different sunflowers that we cannot help taking lots of photos! They were much brighter, beautiful, wider varity than what we saw in Uncle John's Cider Mill last week! Definitely worthwhile to plan another trip to pick the sunflowers next

Severely enjoyed the pruning class. Much more confident about caring for my own fruit trees now. It was a lot to pack into 2 hours, but getting a firsthand lesson on training fruit trees from a successful orchard owner for free almost seems criminal. Thank you to Steve and everyone that made this happen.

This is one of our favorite places in Charlotte. We go every year to pick produce in bulk to can/freeze, and the past two years, we?ve also enjoyed just picking up pre-picked peaches. The atmosphere is so lovely. Our kids love the doughnuts, cider slushes, and play area the best. We are grateful for the kindness and personable-ness of owners Bridget and her husband. They are always welcoming and have time for a quick chat.

I went to the country mill with my daughters and grandson. They absolutely loved picking apples. On our way back, we stopped at the Orchard Barn and ordered a dozen donuts (which were delicious) and a gallon of cider. Sherlina was our cashier, and she was super friendly and got our donuts out super quick. It was overall an amazing experience. Thanks Sherlina! I also loved the scenery at the pond.

10 stars! Beautiful very large indoor store with generous selection of expected orchard and beyond favorites. Our 1st but definitely not last visit. Cider, donuts, flowers, and pies! Large corn maze and UPICK area for apples and sunflowers. Yummy tart cider slushies. Free to park and wander. Apple packing and additional carmel apple making viewing stations were unexpected favorites for my 8yo. I love cider mills and so far this has been my favorite. From wine tasting and having 3 out of 5 to choose from ?????? for $3 plus a souvenirs glass also. To purchasing raw cider that?s only been UV light hit and also having option of organic cider. The variety of cinnamon sugar, cider, pumpkin and plain yummy. They have lots of places to sit and enjoy. We definitely be back

Great place for apple picking. You can also find some cool pumpkins, there?s a corn maze, some recreational activities for kids and a small farmer?s market where you can have some pumpkin donuts and hot cider. Highly recommended, great family friendly environment.

Apples galore! A family friendly apple orchard in Charlotte MI! Lots to eat and try from pies, apples and sweets, to tasty apple cider. Lots of parking, can get busy on the weekends but that's expected. Staff is friendly and on hand to help at any time! Please try it for yourself today!

What a wonderful farm to visit. My family and I enjoyed picking the blueberries which were so plump and juicy. It was fun taking photos and picking sunflowers. We ended our visit with an apple cider slushy and fresh blueberry donut. Yummy! Everyone was so courteous and truly made our experience a great one. We will be back.

Great for dates, family adventures, or even just a solo sweet treat! There is a big variety of goods at an amazing price. The cider was not too sweet and was very refreshing. I LOVED the pimento cheese. The garlic cheese bread rolls were nice and soft, a tad too salty but overall very delicious. There are individual slices of cake which is convenient. Cute place but needs better labeling of apples for picking. They give you a sheet that's supposed to help but I could not find signs for any of the apples that were supposed to be ready for picking. Apple cannon, pumpkin slinging and train ride were fun.

Raleigh was amazing at the cider Cafe so sweet and kind! We appreciate how fast she got our cider so we could catch are bus! I'd give her 10 stars if I was able! But truly we had great staff whole time! Awesome experience picking apples and pumpkins and a great corn maze! Definitely recommend ??

We love the country mill! Staff has always been very friendly and helpful, even when they are extremely busy. Donuts are a house favorite, but the apple dumpling and ice cream is hands down my personal favorite.

Went out picking with my Husband today. First time here so we really didn't know what to do. First you need to get a green bag for picking. Then you need to get your hiking boots on because the apples we wanted were the last row (Ida Reds) . Their were a ton of apples on the top branches. But of course no ladder. So my Husband found one a few rows up and brought it to me. Then I was in my glory ! Picked one bag then went inside and had the best donuts and coffee. Left buying a bag of utility apples

I think this was our fourth year visiting Country Mill and it just seems to get better and better. Despite the expected crowds, they have it figured out on how to keep things moving and were able to enjoy the best cider and donuts around! At the end of our pumpkin hunt, through all of the crowds and chaos, we were greeted with a friendly smile at the register by Cheri who was absolutely awesome! Stopped to meet friends, buy some peaches and blueberry donuts, not to mention a couple bags of there cherry twizzlers. 10/31/23 They were hit hard by large crowds over the weekend. I still bought a 1/2 peck of Honeycrisp apples, Apple Cider, and their famous doughnuts (1 doz).

Always a great time for our family and friends when we visit. Their seasonal model train viewing is a wonderful experience in November. Great staff and owners. We love the Country Mill!

12-1-2024 I ordered two pies on Tuesday and picked them up the day before Thanksgiving. My kids and I LOVED the pumpkin pie!!! Kim was helpful and friendly when I picked the order up. 11-10-24 My kids and I visited The Country Mill yesterday it was great as always. Kim helped the kids write Thank You notes to Veterans, which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the cider and donuts as well. Great place to pick apples, pumpkins, drink cider, and imho they have the BEST donuts in the Lansing area! Everything is reasonably priced and family owned ? Our family has been here for field trips and weddings and we've always had a wonderful experience.

This place is PERFECT FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES. They helped me so much even though they had 400+ people there. The owners and workers are the sweetest and the activities and food are delicious!

We were traveling, in our truck camper, home to Indiana when we came across this gem! We were greeted at the door by the owner, who gave us a rundown on all of the goods/services they offer. We picked sunflowers and purchased several items from the store. When we went to leave we realized we had an issue with our truck that would need to be addressed before we could travel home. The owner was super kind and graciously invited us to stay in the lot overnight. Our truck was repaired the next day for the trip

The Country Mill is the best! We have been going there for many years, and it truly feels like home. We love the fresh cider, the delicious doughnuts, and picking our own pumpkins. My husband and I got married here June of 2019. Absolutely amazing!! The owner was a joy to work with and helped us so much with organizing everything and making sure everything was set. Our wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous because of the location and our guests were amazed by Country Mill. We toured the location in Fall before the wedding and it was just as amazing in fall time. Highly recommend for your wedding or visiting for fall time activities

My sister and I went apple picking here, and we got a TON of apples! The bag was so heavy that we had to work together to carry it back to the car. They had helpful maps to show which rows were ripe and ready for picking. Cheri was very helpful too, showing us how to use the map and explaining what the farm had to offer. There were even some varieties I had never heard of before here. I will be coming back next fall to get apples for pies.

As a heads up, We definitely went in peak time, and this was our first time - we usually go to uncle John?s?..but the set up is NOT ideal. You have to go through the donut line which is LONG and write what you want on a bag?there aren?t any signs on how you?re supposed to fill out the bags, you have to wait for someone to come over and tell you, or guess. Maybe try premade assorted bags, or maybe sell donuts out of the cafe also. It would be helpful if you could purchase your donuts in that line or throu

I grew up right around the corner from The Country Mill. It is a seasonal favorite for our family. The donuts are thee absolute best, they have a super fun 5K to run and it is a wonderful place for a wedding as well. We just left the Country Mill and I would like to give a shoutout to Madelyn who was helping customers check out, she was so sweet, had a smile on her face the entire time and extremely efficient in getting customers out the door!

We had the perfect family day at the country mill! Cheri was so cheerful interacting with our kids! She also made the check out process so quick and easy! We always have the best time whenever we visit!

This was our first time here and we had a fantastic time. The sunflowers were incredible, and made an awesome backdrop for some family photos. Apple picking was great and very reasonably priced. The wine tasting bar was a real treat, especially because the host, Dewain, was so much fun. We'll definitely be back!

Late summer is the perfect time to come. Blueberries and peaches are ripe and even some early apples and huge sunflowers. It's not nearly as busy as it is in the fall too. We love their cheese spread in the store and variety of apple goods. We saw the largest spider I've ever seen in Michigan in the blueberry field our kids loved it.

Beautiful farm with some of the best doughnuts around!! Prices are very good and the staff are fabulous!! Aubrie was very friendly at the food counter and was extremely personable! Our son wanted to talk to Bridgett and she interacted with him absolutely fabulously. They helped create that family feeling at this establishment!!! 10/10 recommend making a trip here!

I went to the country mill with my daughter for her field trip. Hayley Boyer helped give a wonderful tour for the class and Christy B. helped us pick the best apples for our apple pies and was very friendly. We had a great experience!

This was my first u-pick experience in the Lansing area and it was excellent! Our driver, James, told us all about the farm and was very helpful and friendly. The u-pick blueberries were so delicious, not to mention the mouth watering blueberry donuts and other baked goods. My favorite thing though was the peaches ? I am very picky about their flavor and texture and these were some of the best I?ve had!

We come up to Michigan to see family, and we always try to stop here. It was a great time! My kid had a blast running around picking blueberries and peaches. Also, James was super helpful! Alivia was so awesome! You can see her running around like crazy, just working so hard! She even ran in the back and checked on our options when we found out the Apple dumplings were gone, and she kept a positive attitude the entire time. Smile never seemed to leave her face!

The Country Mill is a family tradition each year. They have the best cider and warm donuts. Cheri was very helpful with helping us pick out the apples we needed for making apple pies. Her knowledge of the different types of apples was very helpful.

This place was amazing also extremely affordable they do not overprice everything , Like the Competitors. Good wholesome fun with the family. With a few extra trimmings, donuts and cider are amazing this year. The apples were a little slim picking. But I'm sure that's probably across-the-board. Due to the tornadoes we had. Country Mill Farm is a participant in Harvest Host RV camping. We camped at Country Mill Farm last night. The owner, Steve, welcomed us upon arrival. Had a wonderful time! Great sunrise and sunset views. The ground was level making for comfortable camping. There was another camping couple and we enjoyed their campfire and conversation with them.

Christie and Hayley are both the absolute friendliest. They were so helpful, not just with what was happening in the store but also letting use know about all the other fun things to do on the property.
