It?s become a yearly tradition to visit Country Crust. We?ve had so many great tasting items over the years, from donuts to pizza, we?ve never been disappointed. CASH ONLY

This is one of our all time favorite family places. My Uncle Len from Nevada loves this place and when he comes to visit we go here and he takes stuff home! The pretzel sandwiches are Amazing!!! They?re almost always busy but service is super fast and friendly and we love to sit outside and have family dates here. There?s also tons of hiking nearby so you can make a day of it. Enjoy.

On a long road trip and need a place to stop? This is the place! This is an amazing little bakery for a snack to eat out on the front picnic benches. This bakery is ran by the Amish. All of them are really kind and make all of the amazing foods! I recommend the Jalepe?o-Cheese Pretzel- it was fantastic! Nice and fresh, a good spice but not too hot, just a great snack! This is for sure the place to stop at least once if you're passing by!

I love their doughnuts, it's so good. Good selection of pies. I love their lemon meringue pie. Definitely recommended ??!! Whenever when we are close to the area. We always stopped by and bought some snacks .

This was a place I've been wanting to go to for a good long time finally went on Saturday and had one of the best Rubens of my life. For almost eight bucks it's a really big sandwich too probably weighs a pound. The donuts are also by far amazing. Well worth it to come out here and experience the place

Everything that this place produces is absolutely delicious. The pretzel bun sandwich is my favorite. The peanut butter cookies were absolutely the freshest and easily most addictive I've ever tried. The huge pretzels w cheese dipping sauce were a big hit back at the cabin. If you're in the area and really hungry, give them a try. Portions are very satisfying and the freshest you will find in the area.

My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place while driving to Chillicothe and we'll definitely be back! We both had the Reuben on a homemade pretzel bun, and it was out of this world. We also split a donut and it was the best either of us has ever had. Don't pass up this great restaurant and bakery!

Everything is always amazing. The pretzel sandwich is a must have!!!

Wonderfully delicious and large sandwiches freshly made. Scrumptious, mouthwatering baked goods. The place can be packed and there?s usually a line, especially on the weekends, but it moves fast. The trip out there is worth it and we always try to go when around. May 2021

Great little amish bakery with TONS of sweets to choose from and a few lunch/dinner items. Went for lunch and got a pretzel bun sandwich and a few other things. The sammy was massive and actually tasted delicious. Several combinations of meats, cheese, and toppings available. Build your own style. Same thing with pizza. People rave about the pretzels and I understand why. They also have donuts, cookies, pies, cakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bread, brownies, and more. All very reasonably priced in my opinion

Everything we had there was so good I got a custard filled donut Long John style that weighed 3 lb the apple fritters are by far some of the best. And the pretzel bun sandwiches oh my goodness they're so tasty the Reuben by far the best we've ever had.

Authentic Amish bakery, the no bake cookies and blackberry pies are my favorite, there are pic-nic tables beneath some nice shade trees to enjoy the goodies. They only except cash or check .

Great bake goods made fresh daily. Absolutely delicious dessert and sandwiches at a very affordable price. Highly recommend this place!

Very tasty baked goods and amazing pretzel sandwiches! Will definitely return if in the area again!

I love country crust bakery! They have the best donuts, apple fritters, sandwiches, and the pretzels are pretty good too. We always stop when in the area. They also have picnic tables outside if you want to sit and eat.

Country Crust Bakery is the best! I had a jalapeno soft pretzel. It was warm and delicious! My husband had the pizza and said the sauce tastes very fresh. The iced coffee was perfect and I would definitely recommend trying one. We also bought molasses cookies, banana nut bread, apple fritter and a children's apron. We were looking for a pet friendly spot to have lunch and this worked out great. I will come back next time I'm in the area.

Run today to get their pretzel bun or soft pretzel! Amazing! Warning they are cash only!

Delicious food and awesome pretzels! Great pretzel sandwiches as well! This location is always busy, but EVERYTHING is worth the wait!

The best pretzels and zucchini bread I've ever had.

The aroma when you open the door is Fantastic. So many delicious breads and baked goods to choose from. I highly recommend the pretzel and a fried pie. Bring cash!! Definitely try the pretzel bun toasted sandwiches you won't be disappointed.

Best sandwiches - big enough that makes them a meal. Can't go wrong with fresh baked goods!

It?s the real deal a must visit you won?t be disappointed it?s so amazing works can?t express how amazing the food is the pretzel is the best!

The donuts ????...best I've ever eaten ever!!!! The pretzels and pretzel sandwiches to die for.

Beautiful flowers in the summer. Wonderful food. Great prices.

I went to my first Amish bakery 40 years ago with my parents. It is exactly the same as I remember, lots of home baked traditional breads and pastries and all sorts of yummy things. The sweet pecan sticky bread was just fabulous, apple fritter was one of the best I've had, and the pretzel was so good I wish I bought more! Definitely a worthy stop if you are in the area.

What a wonderful experience!!! The food was delicious!!! It was worth the trip. ** Cash/check only!!! Come prepared!!!

Very good place to get your Amish food fix. Awesome apple fritters, soft pretzels, cookies, breads, pies and everything. A must go to place.

We had the absolute pleasure of making the drive on Ohio 41 from US 52 north into Bainbridge. The drive alone would've been enough to make our day but then we found this bakery. The venue is literally in the middle of nowhere. Which was good because apparently nowhere is where you find the best bakers, using the best ingredients, to make some of the best bread and pastries I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The service was great, the people there were all friendly, and my favorite part were the ingredi

If you like Amish Pretzels, you will love their sandwiches made with their pretzel as a bun. And the Ruben pretzel bun sandwiche is awesome.

Their donuts are delicious! I also like their mini fruit cakes and their pretzel sandwiches. They have a few sugar free items, such as pies, cookies and muffins. They also have pies and dinner rolls available! Along with pretzel sandwiches, they have pizza.

Amish bakery with the best pretzels we've had. You can order sandwiches made on pretzel buns. Places to eat outside. Lots or really good bakery items.

If you want the best apple fritter or pretzel sandwiches, this is the place! Genuine Amish bakery. Plenty to choose from. You will not regret it!

The selection of bakery products was very good. Purchased two small pies, one berry and one rhubarb. Both were excellent along with the crust. Also purchased cinnamon bread which I would have liked to be a little sweeter. It must be a popular spot as many people coming out had boxes of bread!

This is such a cool place. The food is really good but what really sells it is the Amish. It's really fascinating for me personally to get a glimpse of the Amish lifestyle without having to actually experience it myself. My city brain is blown away by how a whole community lives without power and commodities that I depend on every second of the day. Also did I mention the food is good? Lol check out their handmade pretzel sandwich!

Drove all the way from Cincinnati to get there. Everything was delicious. People were so friendly the apple fritters are outstanding. Can?t wait to go back.

I love this bakery. I've been stopping in for several years. I've always gotten a pretzel sandwich when I visit. They're really good. Today, I decided to get a blueberry pie and wow, it's amazing! Everything I've tried is delicious. Thank you so much for the yummy homemade food ??

Stopped here while wandering the woods for our Ohio TuesDayTrips First Fall Foliage tour. We came out with a couple of cream horns for later. They have everything from donuts to breads to pretzels to pizza.

I don?t like the Whoopie Pies. I make chocolate cakes at home a lot better than the chocolate cake in these Whoopie Pies. Mine is a little richer. Their filling is good, though. I don?t like the Bavarian Creme-filled doughnuts. Too light & unsweet filling. Jell-O instant pudding is better. The chocolate icing was good. The blueberry fried pie was sweet but the crust is so thin. I want more crust than that to eat. Across the highway; the JR.?s General Store is quite fabulous, though. These are certainly d

Always a go to place while in the area. Awesome and quantity of meat on the sandwhich. The best apple fritters and cream horns around.

Wow! The best soft pretzels I've ever had. Excellent assortment of sweets and breads. A very tidy and family-oriented operation. We've been here at least five times, and each time it was as exciting as ever. Just a great stop to make on a Saturday if you're in the area!

Honestly the quality continues to slide on the decline. I would check thoroughly before purchasing any products here. Sometimes the pretzels are over proofed and smell like beer and then sometimes they are old and dry like a hard pretzel ??

Nice place, great bakery. Apple fritter was awesome. Just bring cash, CC not accepted.

This place is heavenly! I wish I could bring it home with me. The food here is easily ten times better than any hyped up eatery in a big city and its fairly priced. It's amazing! The Reuben sandwich that I ate here is better than any I've had in Chicago, NYC, Minneapolis, Orlando .. it was the best! Insanely delicious. Everything that I tried was consistently amazing. There's no "good" part of a cinnamon roll here because the entire roll is soft. You know? It's worth the trip. Plus, the people who work here

Get a pretzel sandwich, it's worth every penny. Lemon meringue pie is the best balanced pie I've ever tasted.

This is one of the many stops we went to and it was well worth it. The turnovers are amazing. The mustard is a must also.

Delicious goods made and run by nice people.

I've enjoyed baked goods from all over the country and am proud to call myself a Foodie. Country Crust Bakery has the best apple fritters in the world!

I ordered a wonderful Reuben sandwich on a homemade pretzel and it was really good. A large sandwich and the taste was on point. Like was a little long, but nowhere near as bad as it looks like it sometimes gets. The only complaint I have is that the staff (all Amish) are a really surly lot that seem to despise the customers. I've not seen that many scowls in a really long time.

Delicious food and definitely recommend driving the extra mile to go there. We traveled 2 hours and it was definitely worth it!

Love the hospitality and the baked good are unbeatable especially the fresh breads. Grab a sandwich while you are there for lunch or brunch so very good.

Love, love, love this bakery! Very clean, amazing food! We will be back soon!!

very friendly folk great homemade baked goods...always look fwd when visiting..

Had the turkey sandwich. The best seven dollars I have spent. Wish I took a picture of it. The bread was fresh and no heavy. Definitely not like your average bread. The bread, lettuce, tomatoes and turkey was sooo good. The mayo was good too. Hands down the best sandwich I have had in along time.

O. M.G! Wonderful stuff. Beautiful covered patio surrounded by huge planters of flowers. All kinds of baked Amish goods. Rolls, pies, breads, cinnamon and pecan rolls! Reubens and chicken salad sandwiches. Best chicken salad I have ever had. Reasonable prices. BUT! Bring CASH. This is a cash only transaction. Gotta respect the Amish ways.

Best Ruben. Sandwich in three states. Reasonable prices. Best apple fritters I have ever eaten. And I have eaten a lot. Fast service and very friendly We travel over 75 miles ones way to get here

We were camping at Pike Lake State Park and went to the Country Crust Bakery for some sandwiches and baked goods. It was wonderful! The pretzel sandwiches were amazing, delicious chicken salad, and a big selection of breads and baked goods. The donuts are incredible! Enjoyed eating outside at their picnic tables. Looking forward to our next visit there!

Pretzels are out of this world. Hot, large, soft on the inside but a slight buttery crunch on the outside. The apple fritters are huge with lots of apples. The outside has a nice glaze. The meat on their sandwiches are very thick. The only problem, if this could even be a problem, is that they are so thick it's hard to get your mouth around.

This place is phenomenal. The corned beef sammy I had was simply delicious. The freshly baked pretzels? OMG!!! The donuts? Wow. Fry pies, cookies, bread, and SO MUCH MORE!!! We drove 1.5 hours to this place and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, we will return. Added super bonus? The prices are really good. Be sure to check this place out!

Not a big place but was stuffed with baked goods galore so seemed even smaller. I got the carrot cake and it was delicious. Only problem was that they don?t take credit cards or I would of bought more.

Went to get take and bake pizza but they only had cheese so i ordered one to be baked i had 90 min drive home but as always bought doughnuts took about 15 mins 3 topping 14 in 1496

This is an amish bakery. They offer delicious fried and crafted donuts, soft baked pretzels and pies of all sorts and sizes. I live to take a day and drive the country roads to check in for lunch at the Amish bakery. Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised on freshness and savory tasting treats

One of the best places I have ever ate. They make homemade Pretzel Sandwiches and they are beyond amazing. They have a small store down the road where you can purchase their lunch meats and cheeses, as well as other products and baked goods. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop by for a sandwich!

Pretzel sandwiches are as big as my head almost! Super good. Not impressed by Mennonite or Amish but the people are always very nice and courteous. Try the fresh squeezed lemonade! Very tasty!

Always a good day when it starts here with a donut or turnover. Pretzel sandwiches are good for lunch. Salty buttery pretzels are best at the end of the day when the edges are just a bit fried in butter. Fry pies are perfect any time of day. And even if you don't like fruitcake for anything other than a doorstop, you'll love the fruitcake bites.

Do yourself a favor and get the Reuben on a pretzel bun. I personally dont think the pastries are very good. I base all my opinions on a bakery's apple fritters, and theirs are over cooked.

Love the sandwiches, but now they have great pizzas, too.

If you can get here an a weekday rather than a weekend, I'd highly recommend it. Weekends are wall to wall customers with extended wait lines. The sandwiches for lunch are excellent and large portioned. The pies and bread are excellent. Bread loaves are between $3.50 and $4.75 with occasional sale items. Same for most pies although they can go up to about $7.50.

We love the Reuben Pretzel sandwiches & the fresh baked pretzels. You really can't go wrong with any of their baked goods!

This is very small business with large choices of baked goods, sandwiches and good eats! The creme horns were the best. My husband got fry pies and said he had never tasted any as good as these. A must stop if in the area.

Wonderful pastries. Taste as good as any you can get anywhere! They also make made to order pretzel sandwiches. You can buy hot pretzels also. Another plus, next door is JR's where you can buy woodcraft, bulk items, fresh deli meats and cheeses.

Great value. And the bakery items are very good. Expect a line most of the time.

Great place. Prices are not bad either. We always get a sandwich they are the best!!

A local amish owned and operated cafe and bakery that is worth making a special trip for. They have great deli style sandwiches and reubens including the option for a homemade pretzel bun. Additionally they have loads of bakery goodies such as cookies, brownies, pies, specialty breads and much more. There is always a long line and a full parking lot on the weekends, but the line moves quick and is totally worth the wait. They have shaded and covered out door seating, but no formal indoor dining area to spe

AMAZING!!!! Everything is homemade, which you can't beat. Their sandwiches are very big and delicious. Highly recommend the French Vanilla Coffee (made hot in late fall and winter; iced in the spring and summer)!!!!

I recommend you get a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun here because their pulled pork sandwich is super delicious.

I love this bakery. Everything is fresh and of good proportion to fill you up. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The selection is very good. I would also suggest you visit early in the day because in the afternoon the line can be very long and parking can be tight.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is so fresh and it's amazing homemade quality. They have an awesome variety and great prices. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely worth the drive here. The donuts are delicious, soft and airy the way a donut should be. There is a huge slection of cookies, pies, cakes and various other treats. We also got an excellent corned beef rueben from the deli counter. The sandwich is big enough to split between two people and comes with a generous amount of corned beef and sauerkraut. I highly recommend stopping here. It is to be noted that they do not accept debit and credit cards and there isn't an ATM. It is cash and check

Oh my goodness I only get here when I'm camping in the area but this is my favorite place to eat the pretzels and pretzel sandwiches are amazing I absolutely love this place and I highly recommend anyone checking this place out five thumbs up for me ??????????

Always love stopping by here. Great bakery goods. I picked up a loaf of cinnamon bread to surprise my daughter when we met up in Gatlinburg.

This place is small, but fantastic! They have wonderful baked goods, and their Rueben sandwiches are terrific. Everything is reasonably priced as well, and the staff are superbly friendly. And after you chow down, run on over to the Amish general store up the street, it's another great place!

The pretzel sandwiches are out of this world and Id drive an hour any day to go get one. Keep in mind that this is a curvy road with amish travellers on foot, bike and buggy so be cautious when driving around blind curves. Right now the hours are 9-5 Monday through Saturday

Home baked goods, yum. Good prices. The smell alone is awesome. It?s a drive to get there but worth it. You must try the bread doesn?t even matter which one they are all delicious. Oh and don?t forget to get a lemonade the best around.

I ordered a turkey sandwich with extra mayo. I wish it would've been advertised that they use miracle whip instead of real mayonnaise. The pretzels were fantastic. The snickerdoodle cookies I purchased were hard.

The most Bestes pretzels and pretzel bun Rueban Ever! Oh and donuts, breads, brownies, pies.. The place is a true Gem.

Great deli sandwiches and baked goods

The first thing that strikes you when you enter is myriad of wondrous smells. If you enter this place hungry you will want to eat everything. I would highly recommend the Apple fritters. If you get a sandwich get it on a pretzel bun. Don't miss the fresh lemonade to go with your sandwich.

Awesome baked goods, i would 10/10 recommend getting a sandwich with the pretzel bun! Price are very fair too. If you're in the area or even ~1hr away it is well worth the visit.
