Cold Hollow Cider Mill

Cold Hollow Cider Mill

Reviews Summary

Cold Hollow Cider Mill is overwhelmingly praised for its authentic Vermont charm, delicious fresh apple cider (with free samples), and extensive gift shop with local products. The apple cider donuts are a standout, though some find them inconsistent—best when fresh and warm. Many enjoy pairing donuts with maple creamies or hot cider. The rustic ambiance and friendly staff enhance the experience, though crowds can be overwhelming. While most reviews are glowing, a few note occasional service delays or donuts being dry when not fresh. Overall, it's a must-visit for cider lovers and those seeking quintessential Vermont treats.

I stopped in for a maple creamy and a sugar-coated maple donut?both absolutely delicious! Though I asked for the sugar-covered donut and was given a plain one instead, I figured it had already been handled and just went with it. Still tasty, just not what I expected. The place itself is huge?honestly a bit overwhelming for me?but if you enjoy browsing local and commercial goods, trinkets, and unique finds, this is your kind of spot. My friend had a blast exploring and walked out with jelly, socks, and cide

Cold Hollow Cider Mill really is a beautiful place. The views are even better. I am from Illinois/Iowa and I?m used to flat corn fields. Nice change in scenery. The store is so cute and much bigger than expected. I like how you can see the place where they actually bake the goods. You can also see where the make the cider. The menu in the actual shop is small, but it doesn?t need to be big if it?s high quality. Which it is. The donut was of course delicious as well as the cider slushie.

If you're in the area, you *have* to check out this place! It?s the perfect blend of cafe, bakery, and gift shop, all in one. First off, the donuts are a must-try?fresh, fluffy, and delicious. And the cider? So refreshing, definitely a highlight of my visit. Now, the creamy (their version of soft serve) is unlike anything I?ve had before! It?s denser, richer, and creamier thanks to a higher fat content, and it?s absolutely divine. I?ll be coming back just for that! As for gifts, I couldn?t resist picking

A must visit spot when you are near Stowe/ Waterbury. We had a delicious lunch and then explored the store and apple cider making. It was great to try it! We also had a swirl creamee which was sooo good!

Lovely place to stop. They have a cider meal a little showroom for their machinery and antique equipment to making cider You can also taste delicious cider and buy it hot or cold. The store also has different preserves and other stuff. We bought some preserves and they were delicious as well. There are some outside games for kids as well.

Excellent cider donuts but I will say the dreamie (cider donut maple ice cream sandwich) was even better. Their apple cider slush is excellent as well. They have a massive gift shop inside, we didn?t buy anything but was cool to look around.

We tried both cold and hot cider, everyone preferred the cold one. It was a lot more refreshing but the hot one is not bad either. Honestly, the sampling apple cider was the best make sure to try it. The donuts are really really good, the first time I actually taste the flavor of a donut instead of just sugar. Must try donut and apple cider.

This place was pretty neat. They have a restaurant on site, along with a gift shop. You can watch them press the apples, you can sample the cider, and don't forget the apple cider donuts!

The Apple cider is outstanding, maybe the best I?ve ever had. In the back, you can sample it straight from the press for free, I may have had a cup or four. Cool store and unique items to purchase (though a bit overpriced, you?re paying for the name). Reason for 4 stars? Donuts should never be served pre packed and cold, like we received. They taste good, but not cold. Donuts should be freshly bagged and warm out of the bag, instead we got cold donuts that looked like they?d been sitting on the shelf a whi

Cold Hollow is a must when in the area. The selection of items is vast, so take your time. The real treats are the donuts and of course the best apple cider I?ve ever had the pleasure of tasting, and believe me I?ve had a lot. We had hot mulled and cold cider, so try both with your donuts. All of Vermont?s best goodies are under one roof, so enjoy!

Bantering with locals often yields interesting information that you wouldn?t have immediately thought of searching online. Since the move to New England, I have had the tendency to just drive normal distances to Californians, which in this area means traveling easily into various other states, and just randomly chatting up individuals at wherever area I?m in. I always ask the same question to locals - ?What do you recommend one thing someone to do in your town?? Whatever they suggest, I just go about withou

The negative Google reviews for this place are a joke. Several reviews complain about the crowds, price, and taste of the donuts and cider. Cold Hollow wouldn't have grown to what it is today selling "really bad" tasting donuts or "apple juice" flavored cider. Both of these products are fantastic! I have been ordering both every fall and devour both in a matter of a few days. I went to the store for the first time recently, and the donuts are even better fresh from the store. As for the cider, it does var

This is like a cider donut shop, food shop, gift shop, and cafe all on one. They have so many different things to buy! We tried some of the Vermont maple creamee and it was so delicious! They also had a section where you could try freshly squeezed apple cider and is was amazing! There is a good amount of seating space outside to enjoy as well.

Amazing store with lot of options to choose from. You can?t go empty handed from here. As hyped, tried their donuts and hot cider. Honestly, i liked the hot cider as weather was cold and i wish I got hot donuts instead of cold ones but still they were delicious.

Can I live here? Firstly the old barn house is stark in its authentic beauty and scent. Wood. The options? Good luck they?re all delicious especially that MAPLENATOR. All with local cheeses and meats. The people? Kind and?s engaging. The coffee? Oh dear.. I?m taking another Joe for the road baby.. Cheers!!

Hot cider was delicious. Donuts were a bit of a let down after watching the vlogs that everyone else has watched to get here. I guess they?re only crunchy and fresh earlier in the day. Store/merch area was chaotic to say the least, Friday around 1pm. I heard someone nearby say ?madhouse.? We bought cans of cider for our friends and a single postcard. Driving up to the mill was all red on maps, but somehow we were bloody lucky and got a spot immediately. Takes longer than you think it will to extract yourse

This place was so cute! They had the restaurant on one side of the parking lot and a huge country store on the other. Parking didn't seem to be an issue, some spots facing building and a huge parking lot connected a little farther back. In the country store : Apple cider donuts(you can watch them making them!), all kinds of jams, tons of food items available, good amount of specialty Vermont items and souvenirs, there's also a room that explains how their apple cider is made(this is where you can try it!)

I was excited to kick off the fall season by visiting Cold Hollow Cider Mill on my road trip to Stowe Vermont! The cider mill was very quaint. I enjoyed shopping in their general store, finding lots of unique odds and ends. The cider making process was also interesting and fun to experience. I was slightly disappointed in their customer service. One of the reasons we stopped in was for their legendary donuts we had heard so much about. Unfortunately, even though we were willing to wait for a hot batch to be

One of my absolute favorite places to come to when I'm in town visiting my parents. And now I get to bring my own son to enjoy the delicious cider donuts. He's not quite fond of the cider yet but that may come with age. I never tire of walking into the store and smelling the glorious aromas of cooking cider donuts. Watching my sons eyes light up while checking out the antique donut maker is a memory I'll always cherish. Sean is a good friend from back in the day and it's nice to catch up while he's workin

Cute rustic country store. We of course had to try the Maple ?? Creemee and the Apple Cider Donuts. My husband and I loved the Cider Donuts in combination with the Maple Creemee perfectly balanced together! The Maple Creemee was Delicious!! Yummy donuts not as sweet as I thought they would be but eaten Together is so yummy!!! So happy we stopped in we enjoyed ourselves:)

Our experience at Cold Hollow Cider Mill was very disappointing. The store and products were satisfactory. However, when we checked out, A) the cashier didn?t hand us a receipt B) the cashier tried to charge us double for the 2 most expensive items on our list. He didn?t scan twice but added it on the iPad in front of him. Meaning that this person purposely tried to cheat us into spending double. Please check your receipts and be cautious of tourist scamming.

OMG! This place is a gem. If finally know the difference between apple juice vs apple cider. They have a free tasting area in the back so you can actually taste real apple cider. It's way better than normal apple juice. They also make cider donuts that are delicious and it's not covered with sugar. The store has so many gift items that are very local to VT. Super friendly staff also.

At the back corner, they have a viewing window with an explanation of how apple cider is made. I was able to see them use equipment to squeeze out the juice from the mashed apples. You'll also find free apple cider that's kept chilled and taste very refreshing! Doesn't taste like sugar was added. Better than any packaged apple juice filled with junk or even store bottled cider. As for their cider donuts, skip it and go to Burtt's for theirs. They know how to make a tasty, moist donut. Cold Hollow was reall

Donuts were amazing. If you?re looking for overly spiced and overly sugar donuts, these aren?t for you. They?re the perfect donut! A lot of cool stuff inside as well.

I did an online order with Cold Hollow last month for a certain popcorn that you can only get in Vermont and they were the only shop I could find that gave an option of online ordering. They handled everything perfectly and shipped fast. Can?t wait to visit this store in person whenever I am in the area!

They have THE BEST APPLE CIDER DONUTS and apple cider drinks were awesome too- hot OR cold!!!! Ask for HOT donuts!!! The store has lots of items if you wanna shop. They also sell maple syrup. Very busy place but quick service. Highly recommended!

This is a fun place to stop, be prepared for crowds and have patience. The donuts are delicious, ours were hot and fresh! Their cider is filtered and more like apple wine IMO (compared to DownEast Ciders) but still worth doing the tasting flight. Lots of local jams, jellies, and other snacks for sale as well.

Not sure what the fuss is about. All their breads at the cafe are dry, their English muffin is a burger bun. The French toast looks like it was made in the morning and left under a heat lamp, it's all dry and soggy at the same time. Their ice cream sandwich made with apple cider donuts isn't even made fresh. They pulled out a ready-made one from a freezer, so the donut is rock hard and dry... The store is so busy you can barely move through. Very disappointed.

Was very excited to try this place from numerous online recommendations. It is definitely a tourist place. They have a shop with souvenirs, jams and syrups. You can have a sample of the cold cider, which is delicious ! The donuts were very underwhelming. I was expecting a hot fresh donut, but mine was cold.

Legendary cider donut just tasted "okay" I spent $30 at the cafe and only got 2 half breakfast sandwiches. Didn't realize they weren't full sandwiches. Gift shop was okay.

Yes some would say this is a tourist trap but while it has that Vermont product retail vibe, it's more than that. Yes, there's the store, but also cider samples, educational lessons about apple juicing, fresh cider donuts and a darned impressive array of products to buy. We also had lunch here - sandwiches on house made fresh bread, real ingredients combined with a house made hard cider and you have a fine little excursion. Given it was Halloween, I think that's why Count von Count is driving Cookie mons

This place was so cute!! They have two sections that you can go to. The first section was like a store. They had all types of goodies that were made with apple cider or that you can use for cooking. They made fresh apple cider donuts in house that were so good. Then in the back you can see them making fresh apple cider. I didn?t really know what to expect When people made apple cider but it made so much sense once I?ve seen it. I was so fascinated. They also had tastings of this cider which was SO GOOD.

This trip is well worth it. The cider and donuts are unparalleled, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. In addition, they have a tasting room where you can sample their cider fresh from the tap, and during the summer, there are outdoor games to enjoy. There are plenty of things for the whole family to explore and enjoy

Spent the day hitting all the best spots in town because we were supposed to get a ton of rain, and it ended up being such a nice day. It was about an hour away from our AirBNB to get into Stowe and I fully believe that if we drove exclusively to enjoy the $3 donut ice cream sandwich that I picked this spot for that it would've been worth the drive just for that. Cold Hollow Cider Mill was a very unique general store feel, it had souvenirs and junk you'd expect to run I to on vaca trip, but it also had a ho

Great place to try vermont's finest cider donuts, warm and freshly made! Absolutely loved it. There is a store too where you can buy local products like honey, maple syrup and many more including kitchenware. You could also go for cider tasting, which is an experience of its own. There was outdoor seating too.

Went here for the Solar Eclipse. However, really enjoyed breakfast sandwich and maple flavored coffee roll. Enjoyed the homemade apple cider, cider Donuts, and friendly staff. The gift shop is amazing. Next time I visit Vermont I will definitely be back. It is worth the stop everyone!!!

Cold Hollow is one of our favorite places to visit in Vermont! It?s usually busy (especially in the fall) but 100% a do-not-miss! They have every Vermonty / Cidery / Mapley thing you might need or want and free cider samples in the back where you can learn all about how apple cider is made! They have good Creemees (maple flavored soft-serve) and amazing Apple Cider Slushies made fresh by some of the nicest people! Don?t skip the Apple Core Luncheonette across the parking lot!

A super fun place, a bit touristy and crowded. Fun to see but the apple cider donuts I was so excited for were a bit disappointing. I loved them warm with a crispy layer and you can SEE they are fresh made, but they didn't have a strong flavor, just a mild apple and cake texture.

Iconic Vermont stop that the whole family will enjoy! We stopped in after driving by many times and were impressed with the diverse goods available to buy, from food to kitchen gadgets and more! The store layout is efficient and our wait in line for the cider donuts was not that long. Neat facts about the state and also local history on thr property.

One of our favorite places to stop in Stowe/Waterbury. Always packed. They have lots of Vermont gifts and foods, and you can get a free sample of cider in the back.

Great place for fall festivities. They have amazing breakfast sandwiches, I loved the biscuit. Their donuts are good but we got cold ones so I can only imagine how amazing they are when they?re warm still. Also they got warm apple cider and lots of gifts to take home

I've been coming here for years with my family when this place was much smaller with fewer tour busses. I had a friend visiting with me from the Chattanooga, TN area so my parents took us on our usual fall tour which included the cider mill. I was sorry they weren't pressing, but it was a Thursday, though the place was packed. The cider this year was exceptionally good so I bought some to take back with me. Service was ok, but they were so busy they were overwhelmed. I did get my free Yelp Elite donut, plus

I'm glad I made the stop here. It was very crowded, but there was just enough parking and although the lines to checkout were long, they do try to keep it moving quickly. Their apple cider and maple creemee were really good. I would get either of those again, but I thought the cider donuts were underwhelming, so I wouldn't get them again. Worth checking out for yourself!

The fresh cider is so good! We do not have cider like this at home in Texas, and no one there makes cider donuts. Cool little country store with lots or organic treats and things. Just too much to get in one trip, especially to carry back on a plane. Dip the fresh cider donuts in hot cider :) Good stuff!

Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Vermont is an absolute gem, especially for fall lovers. The welcoming vibe of the rustic wooden exterior immediately sets the tone for a cozy, seasonal experience. The caf? offers a variety of delicious cider donuts that are warm and fresh, paired perfectly with their signature apple cider, which is a must-try. The seasonal d?cor with pumpkins and bright flowers gives the place a festive, inviting feel. Whether you?re here for the homemade treats or just to enjoy the charming ambia

It was many years ago that I visited this place on a class trip. Hadn't been back for 30+ years. My girlfriend and I have been back here three times in the past 2 years. It's a must-visit when we're back in Vermont seeing family. Buy some fresh-made donuts and munch while you shop. Go to the tasting tank and sample what cider is supposed to taste like. If you're lucky you'll get to see the press in action at the viewing room. See y'all again in December ??

I visited in October. It was super busy, but that isn't surprising considering how absolutely awesome this place is. I'm from the south, so I've never had a maple creamie until getting one here, but OMG it was SOOOOOOO good!! Their apple cider donuts are the best I've ever had.. dipping the donut in the maple creamie is the best!

we were so excited to stop by and try these donuts that so many people raved about and we were quite disappointed. donuts were super dry and not even warm. apple cider was okay. the vibes were really nice and the store had lots of things you can purchase. staff was also super nice, but if you?re here for the donuts, I would NOT recommend.

This was a cute place. We tried the hard ciders and they were tasty. "Yule Smile" was my favorite; the donuts were tasty. The shop is nicely stocked with various trinkets and the usual touristy purchases. They all are also nicely stocked with maple syrup and various types of yummy sauces. Was fairly crowded for a Sunday. Over all a cute place to visit.

The cider donuts were delicious! We purchased a coffee cup with a spoon attached and a moose stuffy for my step mom! Great atmosphere

The apple cider tasting was delicious! Alot of local products ! Definitely worth the drive ! They make fresh cider donuts

The ambiance, warmth and hospitality of this place makes you feel as if you have stepped into a scene in a Hallmark movie. All their specialty treats are delicious!!! The Apple Cider tastes as if you have placed a straw directly into a sweet apple, The cider doughnuts are moist and delicious. Perfect for brunch or a fulfilling snack. The Maple ice cream has the perfect blend of Maple and cream flavors. The Cider Mill is also a great place to purchase those one-of-a-kind souvenirs for your Family and Friend

The baked goods were ok.. nothing special.. We enjoyed our cider flight and beer - check the time on that as the restaurant and bar may closer earlier than the main store.

To be honest, it was probably a fault on our part to not have researched a little more but I was expecting a visit to Cold Hollow Cider Mill to be a little more experiential. It?s 100% self guided and it?s up to you what you do. There?s dining options and drinking options as well as shopping. Because we weren?t really sure what to expect we mainly walked around. We did check out the bar area where we ordered a flight of their alcoholic ciders and sat in their cozy lounge but there wasn?t much of an experien

Loved the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Everything Vermont all in one place. We were able to find so many things we never knew we wanted. They also have a bakery where you can get the best cider donuts with a cup of maples flavored hot chocolate which was perfect for the cold weather we were experiencing. If you are in the area, definitely stop in and take a quick browse, I guarantee you will get something.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill is one of THE places to visit if you?re anywhere even remotely close to Stowe, Vermont. I?ve been coming here ever since I was a kid, and I am just as excited now at 25 as I was when I was 7 years old. This place is amazing - it is an old apple cider mill that has been opened up so you can see the whole process of how they turn apples into cider, donuts, jams, and more! They have a wonderful gift shop (biggest in the area by far) with an excellent selection of jams, mustards, sauces,

The mill is a great place to learn about how apple cider is made and you can taste it super fresh. They also made apple cider donuts that are delicious (plus point they do not have the sugar frosting coating). The hot apple cider is delicious too.

While in Vermont we wanted to visit a cider mill and many were closed or not open to the public. We found this on by accident, but we were not disappointed. You get to see how they make the cider and free samples. The gift shop was very ample and had a wide variety of souvenirs and tasty treats. Be sure and stop by if you are in the area.

Located in beautiful Waterbury Center, VT, this place is worth the hype! Absolutely loved their freshly made cider donuts. The shop has tons of local goodies and gifts. If interested, they do have interesting documentary about how their cider came this far.

The yummy smell of cider and dounts lures you inside as soon as you walk out of your car. Very delicious hot apple cider for sale and some cold cider in the back for a free sample. The doughnuts weren't as good as we were hopping. The flavor was there, but they were dense. But overall, it's worth a stop in if you're driving by!

Very good and large portioned sandwiches. Plenty of room to sit outside and inside. Country feel. Flights of 4 ciders are very well priced and delicious. Tried the in house apple cider, very good also. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Cozy with a full range of gifts and shopping options We visited the place from Canada on a road trip the watch fall foliage in Vermont and New Hampshire, although the store was extremely crowded the staff remained courteous and treated us patiently and with a smile. The donuts and cider drinks were fresh and tasty If we get a chance we definitely visit again

A fun family old fashion Cider Mill with fresh cider & apple cider donuts. Watch the old fashion donuts get made & the apples get pressed. Local delicious treats like maple syrup, candies, gournet foods, cheeses a full gift shop. There's a luncheonette, picnic tables & games. A great stop if visiting Stowe especially in Autumn.

I like the rustic feel, and you can buy a huge selection of items here. The donuts are only 75 cents, and if you spend a certain amount on merchandise you'll get a free half dozen donuts. Across from the store there is a restaurant that has limited hours.

What a unique and beautiful place! Fall is definitely the time to visit. It certainly gets you in the mood for fall ???????? I was impressed with how much there was to choose from! We bought delicious Vermont cheese, peanut butter cookies, maple syrup and jam. The doughnuts and cider were a delicious breakfast the following morning ?? I would highly recommend this place and make a future visit as well!

What a great little stop. We initially stopped for lunch at the cafe - had the Turkey Reuben and Roast Beef Florentine. Both were delicious! Loved the flavors. And we enjoyed sitting outside while we ate. We also ended up getting cider donuts (it's a cake type donut, subtle flavors, not dry, very good) and maple french roast coffee at the bakery/shop...and had to drive back later because we decided it was necessary to take some of those coffee beans home with us. On our second visit, we also ordered crushee

Cute little place. They make a ton of money out of their business. I was surprised that they do not grow any of their apples. Kind of a bummer. They just source them from all over. Wonder how they control the quality. The doughnuts were tasty but small for the price. They are also fried in palm oil. Terrible for the environment and terrible for people to eat!!! Apples should be healthy. The cafe had really good sandwiches for lunch. They could use a side of chips or something extra. Maybe a few pickles?

We?ve been frequenting Cold Hollow on our way through town for over two decades. We always love to stop. Prices are a premium (I.e. gallon of maple syrup is almost $70), though some others are okay (hoodie sweatshirts for only $32). The cider donuts are exceptional. The cider as well. All the other spreads and sauces are great. I particularly enjoyed a maple bun earlier this summer. This week, we ate from the lunch counter for the first time and so glad we did. I had the toasted BLT, which might have been

We loved this place . Good place for local products like honey, maple syrup ,Apple cider , cider donuts and cider tasting . We loved it. Bought local honey and cider. We saw how cider is made and also tasted the cider . Would definitely recommend this if you are in Stowe or nearby area. The cider donuts were so yummy

Yummy yummy yummy! Great stop for a quick treat. Fresh cider donuts! Covered outdoor seating with alcoholic Cider for sale at the Barn. $9.95 for four 4oz pours and cider cans are available for purchase to go. Free samples of non alcoholic Apple Cider in the main store. Only $8 a gallon for apple cider! Lots of lovely Vermont supplies to buy for your loved ones. Lots of cute kitchen stuff too.

Really nice shop! There?s barely any sitting inside. We were actually looking forward to the cider donuts- but they were EH (NOT worth the hype). Nothing mind blowing. What you should come here for are the apple ciders! DELICIOUS! It?s so refreshing.

Delicious breakfast sandwich on the cheddar biscuit , and excellent apple cider donuts. Also lots of fun cute things to buy in their shop

Great place, great cider! We come up here every summer for vacation and always make a point of visiting Cold Hollow. We have a blast every time! Gotta love the days when there's no line for the cider tasting and you can just get it over and over ;) Highly recommend!

Honestly really disappointed with the food here - we went 30 min out of our way to stop here after reading amazing reviews, but were disappointed. The donuts were so dry, too dense, and lacked flavor - cinnamon sugar and some more spices in the donut would've made the flavor so much better. The cider was very average and again, lacked flavor and spices.

We stumbled upon Cold Hallow on our way back from the Ben and Jerry?s factory and we were so happy we did! We first shopped and checked out the bakery across the way from the tasting room. We saw the old fashioned cider mill and tasted cider and perused the shop. We then walked across the parking lot and tasted hard ciders in the beautiful tasting room. The flight of ciders to taste was only $10 and they were very generous pours.

Huge gift shop so much selection. The smell is amazing. Staff is awesome and friendly. The car full of people we had all had the apple cider donuts and didnt like them we thought it needed sugar. Very cool place.

You don?t want to miss this place if you?re anywhere near the area. Such a special experience. Huge property and shop with an apple cider tasting room. I don?t even want to admit how many apple cider slushies we tried! Dogs allowed outside on property.

Absolutely delicious apple cider! It was definitely some of the best I've ever had. The donuts were good as well, if not slightly oily.

Makes me happy walking through the doors, smells are scrumptious and so many jams, syrup, honeys, spreads, vinegar etc. Lots of giftware for home, garden, personal care, souveniers... too many to count. They serve beverages and donuts, homebaked foods, pet teats and they have a viewing room to watch how cider is made, video demonstration and tasting tank. Very good quality cider. My donut was served warm, lovely, mild taste and soft texture...yum! Outdoor seating in warmer weather, ample parking, wheelchair

Really cute and fun place to visit. We had hot cider and a cider donut- both were delicious. The people working their are really nice and helpful. There are tons of cute things to buy that will help you remember your trip.

We loved all there products!! The Cider donuts ?? are Delicious!!! We also bought there Pumpkin Butter it?s Absolutely delicious!! Along with the Maple syrup ??????

We made a day trip up to Vermont just to check this place out back in October. I love a good apple cider it was tart and sweet. The food was really good. The apple cider donuts were delicious. I?m very glad we made the trip to check it out.

Stopped here for breakfast and to take a look at the shop/bakery. The breakfast sandwiches (we got them on cheddar biscuits) were delicious! Ended up changing our plans so we could come back the next (and last) morning as well. The shop also has a great view of some of the baking going on, as well as a lot of cute souvenirs to remember Vermont.

Cold hollow was stop #2, on our cider tour and we loved it ! Such a fun atmosphere, with close to a dozen different ciders to choose from. We decided to do a flight, so we each got 4 different 4 oz pours. We also had lunch here, the majority of us got the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was so good I didn?t even have a chance to take a picture of it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, you will not regret it !!!

This place is fantastic. My wife and I have visited here several times (before and during the pandemic). Excellent location, great selection of various goods (clothing, syrups, spices, CIDER, etc..). The fresh apple cider doughnuts with hot apple cider are amazing. During the pandemic, staff are still wearing masks, asking to social distance. I've had things shipped out of state from here, and the items shipped are packed well and safe. Excellent customer service, and will definitely be returning again o

Perfect spot to stock up on your goods and grab some cider. The shop is filled with local seasonings , spices, syrups and treats. The hard cider is delicious and even lunch was great. Will be back again next year to fill the pantry with maple chipotle spice and hard cider for the long Maine winter.

It's a big store, you can try cider for free there (which is great coz for some reason I thought it's alcoholic drink but it's basically a natural Apple juice without any add ons) but a lot of shelves were empty - really wanted cider jelly. Doughnuts are small for $0.75 but you have to at least try it, while you in the area. For some reason they give you cold ones unless you ask for hot fresh ones. Also cool gift idea is a maple syrup in a bottle looking like whiskey.

Fun place to stop. Free cider samples. Lots of touristy stuff to buy. The doughnuts were a bit disappointing though.

Simply enter your zipcode, city, or browse the list of states and cities. We'll instantly show you the best-rated donut spots around—classic bakeries, trendy cafes, and hidden gems alike.

Are all the donut shops listed verified?

Yes! Every listing is reviewed for accuracy. We prioritize shops with real customer ratings, up-to-date menus, and consistent service.

Can I search by flavor or dietary preference?

Absolutely. Filter by popular flavors (like maple, custard, or vegan chocolate), or search for shops offering gluten-free, keto-friendly, or dairy-free options.

Do these shops offer delivery or pre-orders?

Many do! Listings include details on delivery partners, online ordering, and whether you can reserve boxes for pickup—perfect for gifts or events.

I want to send donuts as a gift. Can I do that here?

Sorry, but we don't support this yet! But we are considering adding this option!

What are “limited-time” or seasonal flavors?

These are exclusive donuts offered for holidays or specific times of year—like pumpkin spice in the fall or strawberry shortcake in summer. Check back often—they go fast!

Is this just for big cities?

Not at all. We’re expanding constantly, including small towns, roadside bakeries, and regional favorites. Sweetness knows no bounds.

What if my favorite donut shop isn’t listed?

Let us know! You can suggest a shop directly from our site. We’ll check it out and add it if it meets our standards for quality and service.
