Stopped at Colby?s on my way back from an appointment in Hemlock, and boy am I glad I did. The staff was very warm and welcoming and helpful with questions I had about the available pies. I was told that the Chocolate Cr?me pie was one of their best so I opted to grab one, along with a Triple Berry Crumb Top. I am a frequent customer and the service has always been exceptional. We stopped five minutes before closing today but were welcomed and got our ice cream. We were sitting outside enjoying our treats a little after closing when a little old lady walked to the door but saw the closed sign, so she turned back to her car. One of the young men working there came running out to say they can still take her order!! She happily got her ice cream from a very upstanding young man that was on duty and cared enough

Love this place, good food and baked goods. Love the pies and ready to go meals that are reasonably priced. I recently purchased the caramel apple crumb cake and it was delicious. Everything is well stocked and well kept. I stop here a few times per month and can only say good things about my own personal experience. I will say the admins interactions on lower rated posts and people with differing opinions are defensive & questionable ??

Fun place where there is both indoor and outdoor seating [overlooking a pleasant field]. Both food menu and ice cream choices perfect for a warm evening with friends. Prices good.

I bought two pies. The sweet potato pie was the better of the two, although I didn't care for the thick crust on the bottom. The grape pie was made with grape gelatin and although it didn't taste bad, it definitely was not a Naples Grape pie. I will not be buying pies from her again. I will drive to Naples, NY.

I can't recommend the food very much. It's closer to bar food that restaurant, but not well done. Others in my party we're underwhelmed as well. They do, however, have an incredible selection of ice cream, fudge, and pies. I'd stick to the sweets, and eat dinner somewhere else.

I met the owner operator at a fair or festival in Irondequoit, NY. The pie we were given was a sugar free apple pie. The pie was delicious and I would definitely recommend them to others. I would like to thank the owner for supporting our troops. Beat Navy!

I always enjoy going to Colby's. You can smell the baked goods when you walk through the door. The baked goods are delicious. Their pumpkin bread is the best I have had. Nice clean establishment. Great place for pies, donuts, ice cream, bread, and other baked goods.

The worse apple pie we've ever had. Got one for Thanksgiving, all crust, hardly any apples. Definitely not good we actually threw it away.

A charming little surprise, a nicely set up family run Dairy and bakery. It was a Sunday late morning that we popped in, so of course the stock was limited, but they had still a small selection of very attractive pies, Italian pastries, and donuts. I called and spoke with manager to report my extreme dissatisfaction with baked goods. I had extremely soggy chocolate cannolis, an apple turnover filled with canned apple pie filling, and an apple crumb pie that was wet and raw on top. I could tell that none of these items were actually made on premises and manager confirmed this. No one offered me a refund.

We like the brownie walnut caramel pie and tell everyone how awesome this pie is. I've even stopped and bought out all of this flavor pie before since we like it so much. Stopped for another pie and one of their carry out dinners. Was informed they no longer have food even though all signage still says take home and heat up meals. Employees lost a sale for this business. ( as the owner corrected my review - these are called grab and go meals)

Colbys is a slice of heaven! They have an amazing array of fresh ones daily at reasonable rates and twofer sales! Their ice cream is delightful. This store has a country style place, warm and welcoming. They have large portions, huge variety and excellent service. The place was a clean and charming. Of course the ice cream was yummy! ?? Grape pie was very disappointing. The cinnamon overpowered the taste of everything. And the grape filling was like a thick gel (possibly too much cornstarch or something? You would never know it was a grape pie! Customer service is always good though

Always a huge selection of fresh baked pies, pastries, cookies and other assorted goodies. The prices of the pies are quite reasonable. I recommend the blueberry or cherry pie, just the right amount of real fruit filling. In case you're in the mood for something cold, they also have ice cream cakes, or many flavors of ice cream to choose from.

The grape pies sold at the Naples Grape Festival by Colby?s was the worst filling AND crust I?ve ever had ? hands down. I highly suggest throwing away the recipe and starting over. Similarly, the pulled pork was very dry and the barbecue sauce barely helped the sandwiches become edible. Overall wasted $90 plus embarrassment from the people I gifted the pies to. Never again!

It's a very nice place, great view when sitting outside. Wasn't very busy when there, when leaving it got very busy. Have enjoyed buying pies here. I was trying to purchase a bowl of ice cream the other day, but was informed that a customer cannot purchase a kiddie size if they are over 10 yo. I was, however, informed that I could get a kiddie size if I paid for a small size. I have never encountered this elsewhere and elsewhere I will go.

The Colby's staff did me a big favor by letting me in at 10:00 which is what Google said they were open. They open at 11:00 and even though they were very busy preparing for a wedding they let me in and I bought 9 pies for our Father's Day celebration tomorrow plus giving some pies as gifts. Thank you to their courteous staff who even helped me getting them to my car because I walk with a cane. You made my day with your excellent customer service! ??

We ordered catering from Colby's for our rehearsal dinner. They have tiered menu that allows for flexibility, substitutions, and working within your own budget. Food was delicious and a little more inventive than your usual BBQ catering, which we definitely appreciated. All of our guests were happy, and there was enough left over for everyone to take some food home. We would absolutely order catering from here again.

The worst customer service!! Girl did not know how to count money. I had to explain what she owed me and still didn't get it.. Also, she put 2 scoops on, the top scoop fell on the counter and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a new cone. I certainly didn't want the ice cream off the counter. Won't return! I support local businesses and young workers! I don't support rude owners! It's a training issue!

Excellent $5 pies in many flavors. I stopped in yesterday to stock up on my favorite pies. I hope they freeze well. I'm near Syracuse and always stop by when we visit my sister in law. I Love the Apple Crumb, but all the flavors are excellent. Someday I need to try the BBQ. The staff is friendly and it's very clean. I don't understand the negative reviews and wonder If some are just after Freebies.

Good desserts, service and place is fine but not standout - ice cream is way more expensive than other local non-chain joints of similar quality. Not bad, just an average, nice spot.

This place is amazing, everyone is really nice and polite. The pastries are absolutley amazing. They also have other food there as well. I've only had a hotdog from there aside from their cookies and ice cream, but I definitely plan on trying pretty much everything they have to offer. Catering sounds like it's great, but the restaurant food has consistently gone down hill over the past few years. Today there are half a dozen cars in the parking lot leaving because their hours changed again and don't match what's on the wall over the door. Was hoping to try the new donuts and give them another chance.

Found this cute place on way home last week. had a delicious hamburger lunch and Heavenly Hazelnut ice cream that was yummy. They sell many flavors of pies for $5.00. Brought a strawberry rhubarb pie home for my husband and he eat the whole pie in one day.

My son and I go to Colby's regularly. He loves their double bacon cheeseburgers, fries and, of course, ice cream. Me, I love their baked beans. Yum. Can't wait for them to reopen each season. Wish they carried home made ice cream.

The sandwich- "Cuban BBQ" surprised me. I ordered it out of curiously and ended up wishing I had ordered two. Very good! My wife loved her dish as well, and our 2 year old picked off of both and was satisfied. I wish my sandwich was a little bigger but I still give them 5!

I have been picking up the ribs w/mac & cheese grab n' go dinners for several weeks now. All have been delicious until the last one I just finished eating. (It was the last of 2 I picked up on Friday). They have reduced the # of ribs from 4 to 3, added more bbq sauce. Stopped by On A Friday night to have there fish, the other couple we we with got there fish and I was a nice golden brown, but ours wasn't up even though we ordered at the same time! Our came out about 5 min. later alot more brown and burned on the bottom! Got blue berry lemon crumb pie 2 wks ago at Irondequoit Town Hall Market for a dinner get together. Loved it. I ate the last 2 pieces for breakfast. Wanted 2 pies for a party this last Saturday. Went to Town Hall this Thursday. No market ! So Friday we drove out to Rush and got 2 pies from the source. At said party found out our friends from Scottsville used Coby's to cater 2 parties we attended. Their food was amazing. Give this place your business. You won't be let down.

This place used to be a solid 3.5 out of 5. Not the greatest but reliably OK. For some reason they renovated and changed everything and I swear I'm ok with change. The food is not "different" it's objectively worse. Everything is ....wet. the pulled pork and pulled chicken which used to be fairly solid are now tasteless and tough and I'm pretty sure that's because it's boiled and then kept in the water to keep it warm. I am a frequent customer of Colbys for both dinner and ice cream. However, the customer service has worsened each time I have visited this summer. Sunday I called the restaurant at 7:50pm and asked what time the kitchen closed. The worker Elizabeth told me it closed at 8:30pm. I went into the restaurant at 8:05pm to get dinner and ice cream and the girl at the counter said the kitchen is closed. Overpriced and undercooked... I paid over 13$ for pulled pork, no bun, salt potatoes and a side salad and a 1 scoop kid's waffle cone of Turkey Hill Ice Cream. The salad was bagged iceburg mix w/ a few tomatoes, the butter on the potatoes tasted off and fake. These things are not great but also not deal breakers. The deal breaker was that I got the pork w/2 bbq's on the side instead of mixed in it so I got to see the actual meat and, after several bites, could see that some of it was very pink... too pink.

Ordered the brisket sandwich with 1 side and a small drink, $14.02. I received a bun, a hunk of lettuce, a small slice of tomato and two skimpy slices of brisket. Had to ask for bbq sauce that was forgot. Also had 2 1/2 onion rings. It was terrible. The pop machine had no ice, also mostly just carbonated water came out, no pop. Not going back. Colby's is a quick and easy stop for some good BBQ and desert. We usually bring friends and family visiting to eat there. The sides can be a tad bland but otherwise super yummy.

The ice cream is very good, however the last three times I've been there it was so soft you could not really have it in a cone. It had to be put into a cup with a cone upside down.
