Coco Donuts & Coffee Downtown

Excellent stop for fresh, delicious donuts. We purchased 2 boxes with a very nice variety. Service was outstanding and delivered with a smile! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Coco Donuts & Coffee Downtown is a small shop near Pioneer Square. They do not have many donut options. Customer service was great. I stopped in because I was very hungry this morning and wanted a tasty treat. Donuts were about $2.50 each. They also have coffee. So, if you want your morning coffee, that's a good place to go and get a donut as well.

Wish I'd gotten her name, but an incredibly kind and patient worker was there this morning. And obviously really good coffee and donuts. Definitely stop by.

The stalest donuts I've ever had. Multiple times in a row. They definitely just keep them in the case for multiple days. The frosting on one of the donuts was starting to turn. Staff is super nice and helpful. But this might just be the worst donut shop in the city.

I stopped off here just before they closed during a very rough day at work because I wanted a hot chocolate to make myself feel better. The girl behind the counter greeted me and spoke to me in the most genuine way, she brightened my day and made me feel so much better. The hot chocolate was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. She turned my day around and it meant so much to me. I?ll be going back again soon.

For the price these donuts are great! The mochi was an interesting texture that I surprisingly liked a lot for something different. We enjoyed the crumb donut a lot which is essentially just glaze with crumbs on it. Simple but yummy.

Good doughnuts. We had the vanilla peanut cake and it was ok. Prices were reasonable. The store was ok but lacked atmosphere. We will probably try other places first before returning.

The donuts are really good?particularly the mochi and butter milk donuts. The regular are nice but I?d try those two types for sure. Matcha and maple were our favorite flavors

This place hires maintenance to come in and use power tools starting around midnight out on the street. They do not care about their local community, or the neighborhood they are a part of. Don?t shop here. Don?t be part of the problem.

COCO Donuts Thank you for making my first experience with a Mochi donut, a delicious delight ?? I've been waiting to try one for years, and was so excited when I saw you had them. A bigger bonus, it had my favorite strawberry glaze! I give you guys a 5+ star review! Also, the devil's food, with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, was a huge hit with my son, and my husband absolutely loved the lemon filled powdered sugar donut ?????

The barista who helped us was SO friendly and kind?our drinks were lovely and she was so sweet. Even though the donut selection was limited (we got there in the late morning), she was super nice and offered several different places around downtown for us to try while we were in town.

A super quick snack on the way?a lavender donut, a snickerdoodle latte and some lovely conversation with the server. It?s such a cute place!

Just wandered past this place and thought we'd check it out. Great coffee. I love it when I can get a mocha that's not too sweet and doesn't try to burn all my tastebuds off. Great staff and the donuts were a softer, less yeasty dough and again, not too sweet. Great find.

Visiting in Portland for the day and found this cute little spot. Prices were good. Donuts were yummy. Happy hour is fun - $2 for a drip coffee and a donut! Staff was friendly. I'd be back if I lived here for sure.

Just tried Coco for the first time. Very friendly and helpful staff steered me to an apple spice donut. Also got a chocolate old fashioned and chocolate buttermilk. My new fav is the apple spice. Apple, cinnamon and nutmeg, wowza. And for the price of one Royal Star donut, I got 3! I'm a new regular now.

Coco has the best donuts in town. Leave the icing art for the long lines of tourists and come here. You won't be disappointed. We went to get a couple of mochi donuts but they were sold out. Cameron (the manager) said she would hold a couple for us the next morning and they were waiting for us as promised. Super appreciated.

Super cute lil donut shop, showed up later in the day so there weren't a TON of options for donuts available but what we did grab was delicious! Coffee was tasty as well but most importantly the guy behind the counter was super nice and gave us a bunch of recs on places to stop at while in town

No great selection of donuts at all. Service was horrible ??. Very lazy guy asked 3 times what our simple order was 2 coffee and 2 ??donuts. Looked like it was giving us a huge favor just to serve us. Donuts were very stale, plain and no flavor at all, any grocery store sell way better donuts. Coffee was kinda ok, not good but a step up gas station coffee. Overall this place is worth 0 stars. Worst donuts ever

Love this place! They always have a wide variety of cake donuts on hand, which are far superior to regular donuts (I will die on this hill). I only wish they were open on weekends since that's when I work downtown! I'd be there every Saturday and Sunday.

Good donuts and coffee but it?s better to go earlier in the morning to get these fluffy desserts or they will be sold out.

First time coming and immediately the guy behind the counter was super nice and friendly. The chai was great and so were the donuts. The lavender donut especially is as sweet as it looks. I will definitely be coming back since i am in the area for some time and had a great experience

I visited Coco Donuts for the first time this morning, and was impressed. The service was quick and friendly, and the donuts were great. But the best thing was their croissant - they are the closest to home-made that I've ever had. The americano was decent, if unimpressive, but I love that the coffee came with a complimentary donut hole. I will definitely be coming back.

This place is awesome! Amazing coffees and even more amazing donuts. Don't forget the mochi donuts as they are amazing! A few locations around the city with this location closed on weekends. Easy to find and cool helpful staff!

Coco has delicious coffee and donuts! I love this place more than other shops around town because 1) the quality is unlike any other donut place I've been to, 2) they elevate classic donuts to the best versions they can be 3) they also have some special unique ones, 4) their coffee is so good!

I LOVE Coco Donuts and have been coming to the downtown location since it opened. Good for them that they are getting busier, bad for us that they run out of some of their donuts early. PLEASE recognize how popular you are, especially near a hotel and a bunch of businesses and bring in enough donuts during the work week so we don't leave sad when our favorite donuts are sold out.

I absolutely love their Lavender Latte. I come here just for that. And sometimes when I'm feeling like having a treat, I'll grab a donut. Every single donut I've had is so fresh and fluffy, not greasy at all. My favorite is their lavender donut and their little complementary donut hole.

Went there around 8 am Tuesday to get donuts ?? for people at work. The shop only have 4 mochi donuts on the tray? I wonder if that were all they have left for the most popular donuts? the staff should put more on the front counter if they have more or make some more if they sold out by 8 am? my coworkers loves the donut ??, which is great ????

So I absolutely LOVE the softness and freshness of cocoa donuts and I buy a dozen on Saturdays for myself and my family. The dozen has ALWAYS been $16.00. This morning I go in and order my usual dozen, mind you my normal coco donuts spot is on Milwaukie Ave but this morning I was In downtown Portland and so I get my dozen and she says it?s a premium dozen so it?s going to be $18 dollars. Donuts are excellent, when they have them, but they run out of inventory early. Stopped by at 10 am on a Friday morning and the guy behind the counter said they were out of donuts. Seriously?? What donut shop is completely out of donuts before 10 am? Definitely not good business practice and left me with a poor impression of their management.

Delicious donuts! They also have some coffee drinks, but if you go you should definitely be getting a donut. Fast and friendly service too. There isn't really a spot to sit but there are some standing counters if you want to pause and enjoy your treat. They can runout, so stop by early if there's something special you don't want to miss!

Should staff at a business discriminate on who they serve? The Donuts are very good and most of the staff have been professional. However, 2 workers at the downtown location have expressed being "offended" by a repeat customer's, public freedom of speech. Small Business is in a sensitive position for sure. Accept repeat, loyal customers vs. Staff qualifying customers based on race, religion, Politics, or sexual orientation. These are new cultural times we live in with business caught in the middle. Coco was next to my hotel so I decided to grab some new and some familiar flavors. Thought they were all very well done. I got the maple crueler, chocolate glaze with coconut flakes, and a plain glazed. Not a very exciting selection that I chose, but it was what I was in the mood for and I thought they were well done.

This is my happy place, the staff is always friendly, the donuts are pastry perfection. Seriously I come in every Friday for a coffee and a donut. These donuts are your old school donuts, not fancy or over priced. All of your childhood favorites are here.

The doughnuts were good, coffee was somewhat lukewarm. Service was great! Nowhere to sit really in the shop.

The decor was a poor attempt, it looks like they tried to do something cool but as cheap as possible. The lighting sucked it was dark and dingey. The latte I had was not my favorite it was the salt and caramel I think, or whatever the salt one was. We got a donut as we are fans actually it was the apple fritter. There's was nothing special about it. In fact it was maybe too much dough could use some apples. Overall this place is not what we hoped for and I don't believe it deserves its high rating.

Nice, no-frills coffee shop. TriMet was offering free coupon but they sold out, nevertheless the atmosphere is nice, good soft music playing, standing counters (with an outlet in the corner for charging) and one of the coffee places that has raw sugar and honey to add. Sometimes you just need your fix, and this place is perfect for that.

Best. Doughnuts. Ever. After 2pm there is a cute deal for 1 doughnut and an itty bitty coffee. Apple fritters are both delicious to eat and lovely to look at. Wonderful espresso and coffee. Buttermilk loaves are unexpectedly delightful. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. I want to throw a party just so I can serve these.

This is my secret (shh!) favorite place to get coffee downtown. They are home to Water Ave coffee and it is great and the best price- however it just went up to $2 a cup. I wish they would hold their staff at the same location, it would be nice to get a familiar hello once in a while, or at least a punch card.

Donuts were excellent, very fresh. Service was awful!!! Being the only customers in the shop and saying we needed a minute made the 1 guy rudely walk away muttering under his breath and the other lady turn around and ignore us until other customers came in. No smile, no personality (other than rudeness) absolutely awful customer service. I'll try another location and if they're as bad I guess there's plenty of other places to get decent donuts...

First thing I do in any new city is find the doughnuts. Coco is right across the street from my hotel. It was fantastic. Had an old fashioned, chocolate dipped and apple fritter. Possibly one of the fluffiest doughnuts I've ever had. The apple fritter is the best I've ever eaten.

I've been coming here regularly for morning coffee. Coco roasts their own coffee and it's consistently hot and smooth. Staff are friendly, but don't waste time when there's a line.

I am not easily impressed, but Nicole and Kwang impressed me with their warmth and quality. WAY better value than VooDoo or Krispy Cream, all the way around. It's well worth planning ahead to make sure I get my Donuts from Coco's operating hours... Thank you for reintroducing Portland to 5-Star service! :)

Yes, this place has the best doughnuts in Portland. A finely crafted product for a reasonable price. Staff is no nonsense, but efficient. Damn strong coffee too.

Adore this place. Favorite donuts in the area, delicious drinks (I miss the horchata seasonal drink they had a while back), and the people are always lovely. I grab a donut and a chai every time I'm in the area!

They tend to stick to more traditional flavor combinations and recipes, but they are perfectly made. It takes a lot of self control to walk by and not be enticed into grabbing a donut or six. Prices are reasonable for an artisnal donut.

Way better quality then Voodoo or Blue Star. Not as much variety or crazy flavors, but those maple buttermilk bars are the perfect combo of crispy outside and soft, delicious cake interior. Yumm.

These donuts are the best in town no doubt. I get them for work and everybody loves them. When people visit I take then to a few donut shops and this one always wins for best regular donut.

Best doughnut shop I have been to. Amazing doughnuts that are a must try and amazing service! O if you have a smart phone you can download an app called Card Case which let's you pay with your phone $3.00 or more. Just perfect! Try it out!

Great place to get donuts downtown. My go to place when I get a craving. They do tend to sell out early, but once you taste their yummy donuts, you'll see why!

First time visit after accidentally discovering this place and then reading so many good reviews on the Googs. I have nothing new to add to all of the positive reviews. Everything I ordered was amazeballs. The only word of warning is to get there early if you want the full selection. Based on what I had today I will be there bright and early next time to try some new, tasty treats.

To me, hands down THE best donuts and fritters in the Portland metro area. Their donuts and fritters are not overly sweet and fritters aren?t oily, which are common complaints I tend to have with others.

This is the Coco Donuts I do not use. I use the others. This one I do not find satisfactory. They run out of donuts or just have a couple on display. The coffee is not great. Wish it was.??
