City Donuts

Donuts are great, tasteful & lots of options. This has been our go-to spot since moving to West Sac. Today, unfortunately, one of the donuts was extremely greasy. Oil was squishing out ?? Only posting for the shop's awareness, in case something was done differently today. I will still continue to support. ??

There?s truly no better place for donuts than City Donuts. I cross the bridge from Sacramento just to come here ? that?s how good they are. The donuts are always fresh, delicious, and made with care. If they ever happen to be out of my favorite donut, they?ll even make it fresh for me on the spot! The service is just as good as the donuts ? friendly, fast, and thoughtful. City Donuts has definitely earned a loyal customer in me.

The donuts are pretty good here but I wouldn't say great. The place gets pretty packed so they are trying to get people in and out. I can respect that But I would say don't move so fast were you could possibly lose the customer service part of the experience. Because you lose that you lose some of that good morning people come for at the top of their day. Yummy donuts and kind staff. I?ve tried several varieties of their donuts and each has been fresh and delicious. Be sure to get there early as some of their donuts sell out!

A typical donut shop. Looks like it was built in the 90s or something and has that typical low-key vibe. Lots of light brown colors. This place has a sightly more interesting selection of donuts than the typical spot. Decently friendly too. Nothing bad to say! Nothing outstanding and 5 stars but I would recommend this place.

We love this donut shop! They're always so nice in there! The donuts are high quality. I recommend trying the turkey and Swiss or ham and cheese croissant.

Old fashioned donut shop. I?ve mostly stuck to their filled croissants but everything looks good. Fritters are huge. You can even get a healthy juice with your sugary snack. Customer service always fast and friendly.

You get what you expect at this place. The quality of donuts and croissants are very consistent, but the earlier you go, the better variety you'll get to choose from, similarly as any other donut shop that starts running out around 9am-10am depending on the day. The owners are very nice and seem to take pride in what they do. It can get a little crammed since it's very small inside, but not really an issue since they are fast.

Best donuts in Sacramento area, hands down. Get there at 4:30am when they open, however, and you might be getting left over donuts from the day before. Best time to go seems to be 6-8am when the donuts are hot out of the oven and there is still a huge variety available.

Best donuts hands down. Fluffy, crispy, fresh. I did buy a gallon of milk there once though, and it was expired for about a week. I was able to return after getting home and realizing the date, fortunately. Was able to do either cash or donuts. So I just got more donuts lol

These are the best donuts I've had in a long time. There light, and fluffy, with the right amount of frostering. Most places I've been to are either oily, or to little or to much frostering. The prices are reasonable, and the service is pleasant.

Donuts are the best here our family love it and it's perfect when your having a slow morning the donuts are nice and warm and they have all the classics Yummerz!!

Great prices and super delicious donuts! Hidden gem

First time here and I I can honestly say the donuts are so good! The two I got were perfect lol. The reason for four stars however, is because the coffee creamer she just sits out on the counter and it's the type that should be refrigerated. That can pose a problem for those with sensitive stomachs. Outside of that, I would definitely recommend this place.

HORRIBLE customer service, I also found two roaches running across the kitchen in the back while I was looking at the donuts, when I mentioned it, this very rude young girl who was probably the daughter made a very ugly face and told me not to worry about the roaches running around. I felt absolutely DISGUSTED getting a reaction like that. DO NOT COME HERE there are WAY better places in west sac let alone sacramento in general. Also the prices are way over priced for donuts made around roaches.

These guys are awesome! Fresh donuts too. I asked for some custom donuts and they made it for me that same minute. Awesomeness! It just a little hole in the wall donut shop. The best kind!

Delicious donuts! Discovered this excellent donut shop while visiting Sacramento and enjoyed the donuts so much that I returned the following day. I will make sure to make time to come back the next time I'm in Sacramento.

Wonderful taste at any time of day, but obviously, as with any donut shop, they are the best smelling and tasting when fresh made first thing in the morning, so you late risers might be missing out. ????Just kidding when you have it, enjoy your sleep ins, and then enjoy these Tasty Donuts when you get up

Been going to City Donuts for a few years now. About a month ago the normal workers went on vacation and some others come in to cover. Since than the quality has gone down and I questioning if I want to continue patronizing this establishment. Please get back to the way you were.

I got donuts at 6am and they were cold and definitely from the previous day. I would be fine with this if they were on sale, but I paid full price

I get prices have gone up for businesses and they must pass that on to the customer but, this doesn't feel right. I purchase donuts for clients and my kids (okay I sneak one here and there) so I frequent different donut shops and gotta say, these are some of highest prices I've seen. Seems like prices increased 3-6 months ago and here we are in June with another increase. $1.75 per donut and $2.75 for a dozen donut holes!!! As a West Sacramentian I'm all about supporting local businesses but not at these ad

??Wonderful fresh donuts here! Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere,great prices, and you can even get a good blended iced coffee here! My favorite thing to order is a chocolate bar with whipped cream inside. She cuts them open and fills them with heavenly cream to order while you watch. Highly recommend this place ! ??

A West Sacramento Favorite. It has changed hands several times but the donuts have stayed the same. Been going to this shop since 1995. Met many people and life long friends and family here. Loved it when the Retired guys could hang out and talk out front and in the shop. Great times .

Best service, best coffee, best donuts.

I?ve been getting donuts here forever and I know what their fresh donuts taste like and what they taste like the next day. Today on Mother?s Day they sold me day old donuts, very disappointing.

A guy from work brings in the ham & cheese croissants... THEY ARE AMAZING! Light and flaky, absolutely delicious! I was disappointed when I worked with Mike, who failed to bring them in one day because he said the dough wasn't acting as expected whoever bakes them scratched the whole batch. While I was disappointed, I was equally impressed because they obviously care about quality. City Donuts, I'd give you 10 stars if I could.

If you're in West Sacramento and want great fresh donuts this is the place. It's where I take my family.

Best donuts in town! I accidentally discovered this gem a few years ago. I've had donuts from many different donut shops and this one is the best so far. The lady always upsells the donuts holes and u fall for it every time. Nice moist and fresh donuts!

Awesome people and donuts! They have a really awesome selection of donuts, pastries and muffins with an awesome drink selection as well. Some of the best donut holes around! The ham and cheese Croissant is my favorite!

SO GOOD! My coworkers love sundays now, because I grab a few dozen donut holes for the crew on my way in to work. Convenient location, good prices, GREAT service and donuts. The breakfast sandwiches are good too, and never take too long to heat up when I'm running late and order one impulsively lol. I look forward to trying a fresh squeezed juice next time.
