Very cute place, DELICIOUS churros & other treats! It was so hard to decide on what to get since there are so many options. They also have games out that you can play with family & friends while you eat. Will definitely be back to try more flavors & items on the menu!

The first thing you have to notice is the interior of the place. Secondly, you have to see how delicious the items are on the menu. There is a variety! I really enjoyed the churro sundae. Especially with strawberry ice cream.

Last time I?ve been at Churros Y Chocolate was in 2020. Today we were back in Illinois and I needed to come back, for my surprise the place had grown so much. I was very happy to see how they expanded their space but kept my favorites on their menu. The churro sandwich is a must, you are missing out if you dont order that. I tried for the first time the coconut and dulce de leche one, and did not disappoint. And of course the classic dulce de leche one. All fresh and delicious. I do feel like that the dulce

I?m so excited we came across this place. The staff was very pleasant and the churros?..Wowwwww!!! I love churros but went in with moderate expectations. Silly me! I ended up leaving with a half dozen churros and a horchata. The churros were hot, fresh and soooo delicious and the prices are low. This is my new favorite place for churros. Oh and watch out, the churros are HUGE. Haha!

We stopped by this churro place in Lake in the Hills and loved it! We tried the churro sundae, and it was absolutely delicious?the churros were super fresh, warm, and crispy, and paired perfectly with the cold, creamy ice cream. The decor inside was cute and inviting, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend stopping by if you?re craving a sweet treat!

The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful. It seems reasonably priced especially since they are all made fresh to order. I got a dulce de leche latte and it's delicious. Along with a chocolate churro. It's crispy without being chewy. The eat in area is beautiful as well. And family friendly since they have some board games and crayons to keep the little ones entertained. Definitely becoming a regular here.

I stopped in to Churros y Chocolate today for the first time, and I was very impressed. This is a beautiful cafe located by the Butera and a little north of Home Depot. I had a strawberry banana churro with coffee. They were both delicious. They have a really nice atmosphere as well. I felt very good spending time in the space. I will definitely return there before or after a Home Depot run some time in the future. If you need a break, forget Starbucks, head to Churros y Chocolate.

I'm surprised this isn't a hot spot for all!! Decor has a greenery & relaxing vibe to it. Clean & warm atmosphere. Only recommendation would be more compfy seating lol I'd stay for hours.

It was overall a great experience and the churros were filling! A lot of great things on the menu and I would recommend this place for people who love chocolate.

First time here with my family and the churro flavors are amazing. We ordered a 1/2 dozen and got a few different flavors but the best one was the chocolate flavor. It?s very rich but not overpowering. Also ordered the horchata just needed more cinnamon and would?ve been delicious. Can?t wait to go back to try more options. Food was quick and I loved that they had stickers on how to reheat the churros for later.

I have not been here in a while because my BIL usually picks up churros for us, but wow, it has expanded next door to a Frida theme dining area. Nice, great for families and teens to hang out play some chess and eat churros.

This place has a cool vibe. If you're into an "Instagram spot" you should enjoy this space. The food is good, a little pricey, but still decent. Unfortunately it's a little off the beaten path. They would thrive with good foot traffic and was kind of dead when we were there.

We were driving out of this plaza and saw this place and figured we would give it a try. Holy smokes these freshly made Churros are amazing. We tried the plain, chocolate and dulce de Leche ones and they were all so good. They were very warm since they make them for you right there in person. If you live in the are and like Mexican desserts, I would definitely stop by. The staff was extremely friendly too.

We hired Churros Y Chocolate for our company Cinco de Mayo Event. We surprised our guest with the churro food truck! It was so special and a great addition to our event. They showed up on time and we very professional with great service!

Finally, we're able to stop by and give 'em a try. My wife ordered 1 Churro + 1 Abuelita Hot Chocolate. I ordered 1 Affogato. The Churro was served warm. It tasted fresh. It's delicious. My Affogato was delicious. My wife liked her Abuelita Hot Chocolate. We had a very good experience in our very first visit. The place was nice, clean. Stop by and give them a try. My wife and I will certainly come back. I just might come here vs. Starbucks.

The place is nice, I've been going to them for a while as I enjoyed their fruity churro but as of recent the service has been lacking. The last two times I've asked for modifications on my churros there have been mistakes on both orders. The first time i asked for no chocolate glazing on a to go churro i received chocolate glazing and I had to make another trip back just to get it fixed. But you know, I get it people make mistakes. Very nice place to sit and eat your churro and vanilla latte. They have an area to sit and play games and color if you would like and it's super clean too. I took my daughter and she loved it. Definitely going back again.

This place is awesome! Finally stopped in here for the 1st time last week and was not disappointed. Churros were hot, fresh and absolutely delicious and my boys said the frappes were really good, too! Will definitely be coming back when we need a churros fix! Hubby and I will stay next time, because it's such a cute place!! ??

Someone sent me a snapchat of this place a couple months ago and I should have come here sooner! I ordered one of everything off the menu (food wise) they have bundles of churros for sale along with some delicious fillings. My favorite was either the dulce de leche or the apple one. The churros are made fresh daily and are warm which makes the fillings taste even better. The churro sundae was great because the warmth of the churro is great with the ice cream! This place?s churro is the absolute best, so thick and crispy god - best churro in my entire life and trust me I had A LOT of them. Its so lit, I cant believe its 1.5 hrs away from chicago

This was our first visit. The churro didn't taste fresh at all. The strawberry following tasted very artificial and too sweet. The young lady at the cashier was very friendly.

Soooooo good! Best churros I?ve had since ones in Mexico! The employees are super nice. They let us try samples of the drinks, and even though we came right before closing time, they still made everything fresh with smiles on their faces. Loved the churro sticks with the dulce de leche cream Cheese dipped sauce! Yum! And the horchata and hibiscus tea are both excellent as well. And many many more yummy items on their menu as well!

This is THE place for Churros! Update: they have expanded! The place looks great with the new expansion. Same great people, same great food just an updated and bigger place to enjoy said food. Highly recommend a visit.

I love Churros Y Chocolate! Delicious desserts and coffee. They recently expanded and opened a modern dining area in their restaurant. Me and my family really liked the new look and enjoyed dining there.

I?ve heard of this place from so many people. I finally was able to try it. Churros are amazing, very busy place, staff is young and somewhat friendly. Overall, my kids loved it, we will be returning.

The best churros around here. They are big with a good amount of filling. (not greasy like others I've tried). My husband and I love this place, our go to is the churro sundae with guava filling. Highly recommended for a delicious sweet treat.

What an adorable spot!! When we walked in we were emediatelyvgreeted by a warm friendly face vehind the counter whom was eager to help us decide what to get. I enjoyed the strawberry and banana churro it was freshly made. My kids also enjoyed their regular churros they were nice and warm. There is no indoor dinning but if even if there was the seating inside is limited. This place is small and at the time only allows 3 people inside. I went in the evening and right after I arrived a line started forming. So your could probably expect a wait.

Just recently I noticed this place on google reviews so had to check it out I am so glad I did ordered Dulce de Leche with coconut topping warning churro is filled with warm caramel gooey goodness it?s best if you pick it up and take a bite so yummy ?? We picked up a dozen churros of different flavored fillings; dulce de leche, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and apple. My favorite fillings were dulce de leche and vanilla. They were warm and delicious! My family enjoyed them. We also got a dulce de leche latte.

Looks like churros - but no. The taste of churros is not quite there. Sams Club had churros at one point. These taste just a tad better. The Sams Club churros were - bad. These churros crumble - too dry(?). Taste more like donut bread w a hint of churros. The restaurant is nicely laid out. Plenty parking. Wait time for order is --- long. And I was the only customer at the time. Churros are made to order - probably - hence the longer wait.

So delicious, reasonably priced clean and they have a very friendly staff. We ordered 2 churros sundaes and a dozen churros filled with all the flavors. They were so soft and flavorful. We traceled maybe 20 mins home and when we got home they were still warm. They stayed fresh the next day we were nice and shared them lol that was tough because they are so good. This place is a hidden gem. If you really like Churros this is a most visit. Big Churros filed with different type of toppings and they also serve coffee, hot chocolate and horchata beverage. You can place your order in advance because they serve fresh make to order churros. The place is small and it?s like a grab and go but what surprise me was how clean and well maintain it was. Super delicious treat you can?t resist eating just one.

My club, OLAS, at Elgin Community college always gets our churros catered from here for our fundraisers and they are delicious! We always get compliments about the freshness and the size!! They are so worth it! And not only is the food incredible, but the service is professional and incredibly easy and quick. We always get exactly what we ask for and it?s perfect every time.

I was not disappointed. I ask for a churro sandwich and was really good just too much filling for my taste and they made it right when you order them.

I waited 40 minutes for 12 churros. They didn?t print out my ticket so they didn?t make them till i finally got up and said something. They offered me 1 free drink for my wait and I declined since 4 of my family members were waiting in the car and it didn?t seem fair to me to come back after their long wait with 1 drink. I spent 31 dollars including tip and they offered me 1 free drink after THEIR mistake and such a long wait. Churros are mid at best.

Best place to get churros from. Made fresh when you order. After I bring them into my work everyone always asks where to get them. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I always ask for the filled churros to be cut so people can try the different flavors.

I was telling a friend about where I went before stopping there and before I could get the words out, she asked me if I went to Churros Y Chocolate. We drove past this little shop and had to turn around and stop in. I mean really, who can resist churros, right?!? We ordered an assortment of Chocolate, Apple, and Dulce de Leche filled churros and they were all delicious! My daughter also ordered a hot chocolate which she said was very good. I'm happy we found this little gem and we'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

This is the second time it's happened to me. I ordered a split churro with chocolate and strawberry flavored, and they gave me vanilla, I let the 2 guys who were serving know and they told me that they couldn't help me because that's how they put it in the order. I think that is not a good answer for a client. They should be grateful that we were patient in seeing that the guy who took the order was slow and he changed things when he took our order. They must be more attentive and efficient!!

The churros are delicious as always! We got the churros bites platter with dips. I also got a gallon of abuelita hot chocolate and am so happy I did! It was yummy and stayed hot for quite a long time! Will definitely be ordering it by the gallon and not by the cup, worth the money for sure!

First time customer..ordered the caramel filled churro and caramel iced coffee. The churro was cinnamon coated, fresh, hot, filled with delicious caramel and was so fresh. Huge churro! Iced coffee was yummy. Went for the churro/beverage combo for $6. I'll definately go back!!!

The best churro I've had in my 23 years of living! They're made to order and the first bite was a warm, comforting crunch. You definitely get a bang for your buck, they were massive. The fact, it's a mom and pop shop, definitely adds authenticity and passion. As a tourist, this was my favorite hidden gem <3

Family owned place with great Churros and Shakes.

Great expanded layout! Adding the seating/coffee shop area is great! The churros aren't sitting there waiting and getting stale and hard, there are made and stuffed fresh on the spot!! Service is great! The most time consuming part is the people in line trying to figure out what flavors they want. Plain, chocolate, strawberry, apple, vanilla, dulce de lece, and the occasional special filling like pumpkin pie.

Absolutely a wonderful shop! Very clean and the crew working were very friendly, polite and looked like they were having a good time which to me says a lot about the company and quality. The churros were hot, fresh and delicious. The old fashioned are my favorite but the chocolate and vanilla are also really good! Well worth checking out and trying a few.

Definitely best churros! We got the chance to try all flavors during the months we were working on the design of the space. Everyone of the staff is nice and attentive, and the owners are amazing people! Hospitality is a high standard on their list. We have tremendous respect for the way they?re running the business and how they treat their customers. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and design their space!

This place nailed it. Unfortunately I don't live close to here. But I was recommended to try it if I am ever in Algonquin. I was so me and my friend went in and wow. The place makes the churros fresh for you and they have many options and a ton of drink options too. The prices are very fair especially how everything is so expensive these days. I felt like I was paying the price I would pay for something in 2019 so that's nice. Definitely gotta try this place. Im pretty sure this is my first 5 star review on

Churros y chocolate were our late night sweet treat for our guests at our wedding! When I say that our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing and delicious everything was, I mean it! They did such a great job tending to all of our guests in a timely manner! They made everyone?s night and played a great role in our wedding day being so perfect! THANK YOU!
