They are cool people quick service, friendly staff, average priced, donuts are always made fresh daily.

Donuts were sooo fresh and soft and delicious. The lady that helped me at the counter was super fast and very friendly. While I'm in town, I will be back often. Picture only shows some of the selection of a wide variety of donuts.

These donuts are also fresh never air stale. The bakery and owner are friendly and you're to get a smile. I give them 20 out of 10. You have to stop by, promise you'll be back!!

This is the best donut shop in Plano. The menu is large and everything is always fresh. Charlie can be seen making everything in the back all day. The sausage and ham rolls are the bear in town. Friendly service from a great family owned business. Reasonable prices as well.

Ok for an affordable staple/ basic and local donut place. Solid glaze and wide variety of fillings not available at many other places, but that's real redeeming quality. The kolaches are very basic, cheap and small. Jalapeno or cheese on them leave a lot to be desired if that's a favorite or staple. For some reason they have UHC milk and shelf stable juices in their cooler that aren't the best quality and not sure where the coffee is... Charlie's always has a wide selection of donuts no matter what time I drop by. Everyone is super friendly and the service is fast and on point. I love the glazed donuts with sprinkles. We called it "bird seed" when I was a kid and they are just as yummy now as they were back then. My boyfriend swears by the cream filled donuts. The consistency is perfect. Of course we both love donut holes! When insomnia has me up early, Charlie's is the place to be!

They have a friendly staff the donuts are tasty and the apple fritters are super yummy! They go fast so you got to get there early!

I know these are great donuts, but they aren?t open at the hours that google says they are. Tried stopping here at 0700 on a Sunday morning before beginning a long trip, all lights are off inside and not a soul in sight.

I loved the friendliness and great customer service that the two staff that spoke with me demonstrated. The bakery is clean and orderly. I ordered 8 filled donuts. Two of the donuts I ordered hadn't been restocked, but the kind woman who took my order went to the racks and retrieved those flavors. I really love the soft quality of the donuts at this shop. Rather than doughy, which some of the reviews suggest, these donuts are quite soft and a little but fluffy. Very unique and always leaves you wanting more!

How could you say anything bad about donuts? A wonderful assortment, fresh, the Bavarian cream is tops and it's in an eclair and a sugar donut. The kolaches are about 5 inches long, bigger than most with 3 kinds to choose from. Sausage w/ cheese, sausage cheese jalapenos, and ham and cheese. I've been back many times and they've always got a great selection.

Nice family place. This was my first visit. Had an apple fritter that was pretty dang good. Properly fried but not overly sweetened and just about the right amount of apple bits (could've used a few more). I'll be back.

This is by far my most favorite doughnut shop. Super friendly staff, they always make me feel welcome. IMHO it's better than Shipley's and Southern Maid (which I grew up on in west Texas). When we moved up here from the Odessa/Midland area, I was so excited to see there was a Southern Maid in Plano. Love love love this place. Reasonably priced and nice staff. Best donuts I've found in the area. Just avoid the fruit filled ones, the rest are amazing. Bavarian cream is so good and the bear claw is to die for.

This is my go to donut place. Every time I walk in they greet me serve everyone quickly and the donuts are hot fresh and delicious without being overloaded with sugar.

The product is excellent. If you're familiar with the Shipley's brand, this is their old location. Very friendly staff. My only complaint is that they need to keep a closer eye on their jalapeno-cheese & sausage kolache inventory.

I could taste the oil in every bite. Probably the worst experience in a donut shop ever. That said, I?m very picky and critical about donuts, and these were too expensive for the quality I received. Sadly, it?s the closest donut shop to my house, but I will still drive the extra distance for a better donut. ????
