This is the best donut place in Round Rock. All of their donuts are amazing. We?ve tried almost all the donut places in Round Rock and they don?t even come close to this place. So so good!
I went on a Tuesday in the very early morning when I couldn't sleep and got a craving for donuts. Bought 3 kolaches, all different types. They were very good, reasonably priced and were nice and warm. The donuts were fantastic! They were light yet full of flavor. They were about $1 each but you get a couple bucks off when you buy the dozen and I couldn't say no to that. I polished off the whole dozen within 3 hours, they were that good. WOW ?? THIS LITTLE place is great ! There?s not much to the place but the food is great . The breakfast sandwiches are terrific . The sausage, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich is out of this world. It fits the hell out of the little tiny one I used to go get at Refule across the street. Fantastic all around! Very friendly service, reasonable prices, not to mention the high quality kolaches, old fashioned and regular glazed donuts. From my experience it can be difficult to find either donuts or kolaches that are both soft and airy, rather than thick and overly dry. Also, it was quite a treat to bite into a jalape?o kolache and not feel my mouth go from 0 to 100 on the Scoville scale for no good reason. 5/5 would recommend to friends, family and passersby.

Best regular glazed donuts!! (beside RR donuts). Not a fan of the chocolate donuts as it doesn't have enough or the same glaze as the originals but I've never tasted a "gasoline" aftertaste like one reviewer was saying. We have been coming here for years, since my high schoolers were preschoolers. Best apple fritters in town, and everything else is great, too. It's a wonderful family business. There are a couple of tables inside if you prefer to stay.
I have been going there for years with my kids early in the morning for breakfast. I've complained a couple times in the past about the chocolate donuts. But the owner refuses to aknowledge anything is wrong. I finally I went in again last week and asked her if she could please taste the chocolate donuts because they tasted bad. Central Donut is my family's favorite donut/kolache shop. It gets pretty busy on a Saturday morning, but worth the wait. The donuts and kolaches are freshly made. If you notice they have just pulled the apple fritters out of the fryer, get as many as you can carry! The best I have ever had.

This is the best secret in the area. Their donuts are amazing with a great assorted variety of true flavors including the coconut shavings and the fillings are yummy. Their prices are amazing and the staff is always attentive.
Refused to let customers use restroom even though it was operational . I recommend to Go somewhere else. I went to Lonestar Kolaches instead which lets customers use rest room.
We just discovered Central Doughnut. The doughnuts and kolaches were delicious. The price was great and the staff was friendly. Most impressed with how they do filled doughnuts on demand, which made them so absolutely fresh tasting. The biggest compliment is, we'll be back.
Better than rr donuts not too sweet. Amazing croissant sandwiches. I forgot my wallet today and the lady remembered me and said don't worry about it. I came back later and paid. Don't get better service than that!
Our favorite place! Light, airy donuts, exactly the way I personally believe they should be. They are always friendly and always have strawberry milk, which is apparently essential for my son.
I hope the word doesn't get out about the excellent boudin croissants. Donuts are also very good. We all love to have a favorite donut shop and this one earned their spot!
Best kolaches and donuts in town! I can?t understand why people wait 15 min in line at the nearby Dunkin for stale over priced donuts and mediocre watered down coffee when they could come here and get amazingly fresh donuts. Never a wait, always fresh. Support local businesses!
Fantastic apple fritters! I stop here every time I visit Round Rock, and they have never disappointed. But get here early, as they often run out well before closing time.
I love this shop. The employees are kind and attentive. The place is clean. Food tastes fresh, and flavors are awesome. They aren't over priced and well worth the visit. I visit often. Have yet to be disappointed.
Have been enjoying this place since it opened right by my house. The plain glazed donuts aren?t quite as good as round rock donuts, however the kolaches, cinnamon rolls, coffee, and eclairs are all exquisite.
This is one of my go to places for tacos. The staff is always friendly. The prices are fair and the food good. I prefer them over Shipleys for sure.

I really love the donuts at central because they always tastes fresh, they are nice and soft, but there also very fluff, the best part is that there not dry when you eat them.
The donuts here are consistently good. But for us, the star is the boudin kolache. OMG... so savory and very spicy! They run out quick so get there early.
Glazed are very good but what the heck is wrong with the chocolate covered ones?? HORRIBLE after-taste like gasoline! We all noticed it immediately & it stayed with us for awhile. Will not be back.
