This adorable donut shop is a MUST GO TO! Well organized display of donuts upon arrival (great visual for kids deciding and hey- adults too!). Got our coffee with ease at the second counter and quickly had our donuts in hand and snagged a nice spot in the back yard area. Happy staff and clean atmosphere. Delicious old fashioned donuts made to order. The perfect amount of crisp on the outside while soft inside. I?m blown away by how many fun options they always have. Even the coffee flavors were very appealing. I recently tried a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and wow was I impressed. I would go out of my way to get back there for another. 10/10 on quality and service.

This place is awesome! We had them do donuts for our wedding dessert and I am so happy with our choice!! We spoke with Lauren to plan everything and she was super friendly and helpful. We went with apple cider cinnamon, holy cannoli, french toast, and pumpkin spice latte. We also rented the donut wall from them which looked fantastic. Loved the donuts, the service and the location. When we walked in, we saw speedracks full of donuts. I tried the sweet n spicy donuts which featured pineapple glaze and a spicy kick (see photos for donuts specs). Awesome spot. Will return next year, highly recommend.

A must stop if you are in town! The donuts were creative, delicious and beautiful to look at. Biting into the pink lemonade was pure joy. My 6 year old said to give it 200 stars. My 7 year old thought it was so cool to create his own donut by choosing the donut, glaze, topping and drizzle. You can watch them creating the donut masterpieces, which the kids and I loved. There?s a cute area in the back to sit and a little donut theme gift shop. The staff was super sweet too!

The donuts are nice and crispy. They have a lot of flavor to them and they make them in front of you. They can be a little pricey for what your getting, but they also offer an amazing number of choices including the specialty menu of donuts. You can even create your own donut. They also have a selection of coffee which I didn't try but it smelled good and their barista was friendly. I would go back there again but their prices would limit my frequency.

You can choose from a large variety of different flavored donuts or you can simply customize each and every one of your toppings to create a unique donut that's made just for you. The donuts are a heavy, cake-like texture, and the toppings are coyingly sweet. They are also very expensive, donuts are $3.?? each or $32.?? for a dozen. Honestly the best donuts on Cape. They make them fresh to order! My husband and I both got iced coffee today, a streusel flavor and it was out of this world. We also got breakfast sandwiches and they really were spectacular. VERY highly recommend.

Great little donut shop where all of your donuts are made to order while you wait. Not only are the donuts delicious, but the grandkids love watching their favorite donut being made. It can get very busy during the summer, but the line moves quickly, and it's definitely worth the wait!

Cute little doughnut and coffee cafe. On the pricey side. Went for apple cider doughnuts, wasn't the best. On the dry side. Didn't have a strong apple cider flavor, only tasted the sugar on top. Kind of disappointed they didn't have hot apple cider. Their house brewed coffee was great! We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were tasty, but pricey. Definitely worth it to check out but we probably wouldn't visit again.

Choose the old fashion or chocolate, pick your glaze, your toppings and finish with your choice of drizzle. They have premade varieties like Boston Cream and Jelly as well if you prefer the classics. The donuts here are AMAZING. I never thought that the PB&J donut would be my favorite but it was easily a 10/10 donut and I?ll be coming back for it ASAP. Other favorites were the Italiano and the Crumb Cake (also didn?t expect these to be my favorite but they were awesome). But every single donut we had was ridiculously yummy. It?s like an ice cream bar, but for donuts. They bake the donuts fresh, and then you can pick the toppings. Most are generic frostings or candy. The donuts them selves taste like Dunkin? I love the idea of creating your own donut. We did not do that on this trip. We tried a couple of from their list along with an egg sandwich. If you have children or love donuts- you have to go.

Donuts are great! A good crisp on the outside and soft and lite cakeiness inside! Old fashioned is on point and so is the apple cider, best we had in a long time! My only personal opinion would be wish the lemon curd was more lemony not as sweet.

What an awesome little donut shop!! They have a wonderful selection of unique donuts and they even have a "make your own" option where you can construct the donut you want! My husband got their sweet and spicy donut, my daughter got the cookie monster and I got their GF old fashioned with lemon glaze and strawberry drizzle. They were delicious! Their iced coffee was tasty too! The service was fast and friendly! I can see why this place is packed every morning! Highly recommend!

Nice little shop but not for my tastes..too much emphasis on toppings,drizzle,icing and other confections. I enjoy a good cake donut in it's simplicity-an old fashioned ,blue berry cake.with.maybe some coconut or peanut crumbles. The apple cider donut was lacking flavor and density for me. If I want an airy donut give me a raised/glazed donut .the bagel sandwich tasted good but the cinnamon raisin bagel was soft and mushy like a piece of white bread-totally collapsed and was not up to being sandwich. Best place for a quick breakfast. No matter how busy it gets the staff keeps the line moving. The donuts are amazing and its fun to be able to customize your own. The blueberry coffee is our favorite and its by far the best coffee in the area. Prices are super reasonable. Parking is a little rough but its so worth it!

I was really disappointed with my recent purchase of gluten-free donuts from Captain Baker. I bought five different donuts ($5-$6 each) to share with my family, but when I received them, they were frozen. While I understand that freezing can help maintain freshness, it was frustrating not to be able to try them before ordering several. Unfortunately, the donuts did not live up to expectations. We all agreed they had a distinctly unpleasant, chemically aftertaste, which overshadowed any potential enjoyment.

Donuts were inventive and tasty. On the unfortunate downside, 3 of the 12 I carefully had chosen were actually not at all what I ordered once i looked at home. Also, the young lady preparing the donuts continuously wiped her nose without the thought of changing her gloves, and. finally, the cream/ milk for the iced coffee had gone bad. It was an unpleasant first visit after passing by for months.

Super cool shop with unique donut offerings, including an ala carte style create your own donut menu. Or you may choose from a selection of creativity crafted example donuts on display. as I drive by this location all the time decide to finally stop and get some donuts, I bought a dozen donuts and large Iced coffe and it cost me $49.46 which was Outrageous. first off the girl making the donuts had a cold and was sniffling and wiping her nose with her gloves on and didn't even change them. I was Disgusted and on top of it a got a coffee which they make you go outside in the back of the store were they keep coffee out on a HOT Patio ! with milk and cream sitting out in the sunny back yard

This place deserves all of the love and business. My daughter, who is every bit as stubborn as I am, decided she wanted a certain donut. We ordered, sat down and then she decided that she wanted a different kind. The owner heard her crying about the donuts, came over, and asked her which one she wanted and brought her another donut. My vegan radar went off and we pulled into Captain Bakers donuts. I wish we hadn't. We bought two vegan donuts. They were tiny. Very, very tiny. They came individually wrapped in plastic, and guess what, tasted like plastic. Unfortunately they just weren't good. The dough was off, the frosting was off (were they frozen before? Maybe). Funny how something can be so close to where you live and yet we just discovered this shop. We live 2 towns over. Wonderful donut shop. Great aesthetic. Very Family friendly. The donut was very tasty. We went there because they advertised gluten free doughnuts. Unfortunately, it was a pre packaged donut. It was very small and pricey. It was quite a bit of wait to get your donut made.

this place is absolutely adorable, their advertising and marketing is genius. they make it look fancy and spectacular. the donuts look amazing and are decorated well, but do not taste homemade. they are like packaged plain donuts from the grocery store. the toppings are good but also looked packaged. the only thing I would say it fresh is the decoration and topping. I paid 20$ for six donuts and they were not as good as I expected.

the place was really cute and everyone was nice but the gluten free donut is horribly dry. comparable to the sahara desert. the regular donuts are similarly bland and void of moisture. ALSO extremely expensive.

In Dennis on vacation and made it a point to to check out this place we found online. We were impressed beyond our expectations. The breakfast sandwiches were cooked to perfection. The star of the show is the donut assortment. They have numerous unique donuts, the West Dennis Beach and Italiano spring to mind...but your ability to create custom donuts is amazing. Do not pass up a chance to go here, you will not be disappointed+

This was the perfect breakfast to end our wonderful week on the Cape. We were honored to be part of Captain Baker's Donut Shop's opening day. It was truly an experience to see the custom donuts created before our eyes. We ordered coffee, specialty, as well as custom donuts, plus egg sandwiches. Everything was delicious, but the donuts were an experience in and of themselves! Just melt in your mouth delicious. We look forward to going back!

Fantastic. A small shop which gets crowded easy, but for a good reason. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. We ordered breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and their cold brew coffee and everything got top marks. A really creative shop with the custom donuts. We were there on vacation, but it's almost worth the 4 hour drive each way just to go back there alone.

Their donuts are great, customizable so you can get just what you want. My favorite thing to get there is actually the breakfast sandwich. They have bagels or Portuguese muffins (similar to an English muffin but softer), I get my breakfast sandwich on the Portuguese muffin and it?s really really tasty and just a bit different from what you get everywhere else. Their prices are really reasonable and they have a great outdoor seating area!

Came down a couple of times this summer to Dennisport. Each time I saw this shop, and was looking forward to trying Captain Baker's Donuts. Well the third time down this summer I was lucky enough to try this place on its opening weekend. Donuts were delicious, tried some that were custom crafted and they were amazing. Matter of fact all the donuts were delicious. Definitely, going to be a regular place to go when my family is in town. I appreciate the staff's hard work and attention to detail. Lovely

Best donuts I've ever had by far. Everything is made fresh to order so my donuts were still warm even after I drove home. Their precautions against COVID-19 are top notch and their system just works. Their prices are really reasonable for the quality that you're getting. My only negative is their parking lot wasn't the most organized but it was easy enough to figure out.

They had staff outside greeting everyone, passing out order forms, answering questions, and thanking everyone for their patience as they worked through some opening day kinks. The make-your-own donut is a great idea, with so many options. They even have a woof window out back, so you can bring your dog along and order outside. The place is dangerous, can get a custom donut with whatever toppings, frosting, glaze that you want. Also a large assortment of iced coffees. I tried blueberry and coconut. Both weirdly delicious. There is a gift shop in the small house out back and a garden/backyard with outdoor seating. Glad I don't live nearby or I would keep coming back and eating at too many donuts.

Very nice people. Beautiful shop. Huge variety. Terrible donuts. I can?t speak to their other items but it was just one flavor of donut with toppings. I tried four varieties. The pastry cream in the Boston Cream and the raspberry drizzle were yummy. Everything else just has no flavor. The donuts didn?t even seem fresh. Such a disappointment.

It's a fun donut shop with lots of specialty donuts. The actual donuts had a bit of lemony flavor to the bread part which didn't go over well with a few of us. But the others didn't notice so it may have been just those ones. Coffee was delicious.

I've been drinking coldbrew with nothing in it for a few years now. Dunkin and Starbuck's coldbrew typically taste burnt and nasty.
