Cape Cod Donuts

I normally prefer yeast donuts but this place has made me rethink my entire stance on cake donuts. I had the blueberry, apple cider, chocolate, honey, and red velvet donuts. All were very good, but the blueberry is a stand out. One of the best donuts I've ever had. They somehow make them so the blueberries don't dry out during cooking process so they taste so fresh and flavorful. You MUST try one before you die.

Donuts were fresh and crisp out of the fryer. I got there tight at open so they didn?t have a full menu. The lemon blueberry is perfect

Mediocre donuts that took forever. 55 minutes and we were third in line. Order ahead if you really want to go for it. Donuts were just okay. They tasted like old oil. If you insist on going go with strawberry or blueberry which are pretty unique given the way they produce the batter. Bring your own coffee. The coffee there is booty. The dudes were trying their best but the operation just isn't designed for fry on demand quick service. Polite and kind service just sloooooow.

Living on Long Island, we reside in a black hole for any donuts that are not Dunkin produced. And so, coming off the Cape, we were excited to find Cape Cod Donuts was right on our route. We pulled into the parking area and saw a short line next to a tiny trailer. As we approached, we were greeted by a kind older gentleman who asked if we had ordered yet. We were looking for good donuts and this was the only option besides dunks and honeydew within a 20 mile radius of where we were. Parked in the lot of the Ice Cream Sandwich ice cream shop is a small truck, a couple guys and some amazing donuts. It's a bit of a wait when there are orders ahead of you but nothing beats a tray of fresh warm donuts. I'll definitely be back to try the fritters

Found this trailer beside one of our favorite ice cream shops in Sandwich. Couldn't figure out how they could have an inventory of donuts until I saw they fry them to order. So I enjoyed a coffee during the 10 minute wait. I really enjoyed the blueberry donut, which had plump juicy blueberries and a nice glaze. Also ordered an apple fritter and two chocolate donuts. The most delicious handcrafted donuts and the nicest service! I did not know this was a food truck - so was surprised at first. But the product is as good as you?d get in a 5 star bakery. And the prices are soooo reasonable!

My husband and I chose to forgo the traditional cake route for our wedding and instead opted for donuts. We booked Cape Cod Donuts for our wedding desert and it was definitely the best decision! Absolutely the best cake donuts I?ve ever had. And I don?t even like cake donuts- at least, I didn?t till I had these. We got a fresh blueberry and a maple bacon. There was so much bacon bits, it was like eating a breakfast sandwich !

Although I am usually a raised donut person, I really enjoyed these. These cake donuts were light and fluffy inside and crisp and golden on the outside. They even throw in some donut holes with your order which is so fab! I love that the strawberry blueberry donut had huge juicy blueberries inside - none of those awful dried blueberry chips.

2021 Stopped at the little donut trailer, the guy was rolling out the dough and stamping them out as we ordered. Has to be the best blueberry and strawberry donuts I ever ate. Make this a stop even if you plan on eating breakfast somwhere else. Friendly owners. Also try the red velvet, and the bag of nuggets. 2023 2 years later.... still our favorite place to stop!

My husband and I didn?t think we would find a donut shop that could rival White House Fruit Farm in Canfield OH. We have now! We visited Cape Cod Donuts today. Fantastic donuts. We sat outside at the picnic table, in the sun, enjoying the cool morning. Worth the trip. We will be back.

FINALLY got to Cape Cod Donuts! If you love a good, old fashioned, "fry cake" doughnut; get there...NOW. The Cape Cod Donuts are SO worth the drive (no matter how far that might be). I must have hit this place as a bad time! Decided to try it out on the way home from the Cape and was so disappointed. Ordered a few different types and found most of them were doughy - it almost seemed undercooked. Not like the experience of others on here. I also felt that the cinnamon flavor was rather strong and I am not a fan of cinnamon at all so overall i threw away all six donuts and had to run across to stop n shop To get a drink to wash it all down! Guess just an off day!

These donuts are delicious!! Saved this splurge for the last day! Got chocolate and glazed and old-fashioned. Soft inside and a bit crispy outside. It is in fact a small food truck on the property of an ice cream shop. (I doubted I got the right location) went early about 830 on a Friday and shortly after I pulled up 2 others pulled up. I mention that because I feel on cape you always want to know how crowded things are..

Best donuts you will ever eat! He bakes them fresh and you eat them warm. My favorite is Alyssa?s blueberry. It has a glaze over it and the blueberries just burst in your mouth all warm and delicious. It truly is a gem. Once you try it, you will keep going back!

Awesome! Was dying for a real homemade donut that is not from one of the chains. Was very happy with our choice, although they were sold out of a lot of the favorites, we tried the chocolate, red velvet and the apple fritters. My favorite was the red velvet, OMG it was delicious!

Been here a dozen times donuts are 5 star. Now it?s a one star review since I was told to go elsewhere for the record it wasn?t a young kid it was two younger Guys just saying was two heavy set guys working in the truck. And no you lost business and they didn?t order ahead. Was nice enough to give 3 stars Owner cant take a little criticism boo hoooo. Been to this place a dozen times probably spent 100s and you get told to go elsewhere quite ridiculous.

Seriously some of the best donuts out there and especially on Cape Cod. You can hire Scott Morse's Donut truck for weddings and events as well. I am still dying and waiting for him to have his truck at one of the weddings myself and my LoveDays Photography team capture here on the Cape. Definitely try the simple glazed, the blueberry and his apple fritters.

Donuts are amazing. You will wait a bit for them, but it is do to them being made when you purchase them. Nothing like hot fresh donuts. Must try the strawberry and blueberry. They use fresh berries in them. DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS!!

Doughnuts were good, not great. Certainly not up to the other reviews here. Blueberry was fine, Apple fritter was fine. Much better than Dunkin, much worse than Back Door Doughnuts in Oak Bluffs

This man is an American hero. Perfectly hot and fresh donuts. Tender yet crisp. Worth pulling far off the highway for. We ate four donuts between the two of us and wished we had more. If I?m ever in Cape Cod again, I will be stopping here more than once.

Tucked behind the pizza shop on the right hand side. When you enter the parking lot drive around to the left and you'll see the Donut spot. Fantastic while warm and still good when cold, just not quite as great. Will absolutely go back.

How you can give this anything but 5 stars is beyond me. It just looks like a little food truck...but some of the best donuts ever....when we got our trays the donuts were warm and the glaze was dripping off. Fresh bluebeery and cranberry used clearly. Will definitely visit again when we head back to the cape.
