My first time trying Cajun Donuts? the staff was super friendly and understanding that I had no idea what I was getting (which ended up being a ton) or what I wanted (which was almost everything). Product wise? so? I think donuts are all about taste. Some people like thick, cake, sweet donuts while others may like thin, airy, buttery donuts. We had a Donut themed birthday party for my 3 yr old. I called and ordered several dozen donuts and said 2 dozen donuts will just be cute girlie and colorful! Whatever yall want to do ! She said ok great! Omg! How wonderful they did!!! Everyone loved them !!

Had to try the famous king cake and I swear it's the best I've ever had and it's not all dry. Not traditional because it's like a huge donut twist but 10/10. Trying the boudin cake next.

I only had time for a quick bite while heading to the airport. Thankfully Cajun market was on the way and super quick! I?m so happy I had time to stop by. I grabbed a Boudain kolache and the last basket of beignets. The service was so friendly! The treats I got were very good!

Good service and nice place to sit and eat. Lots of Cajun memorabilia on the walls to look at. I had the beignets and a classic Community Coffee Iced Latte?. The beignets were good but more of a donut style than the classic Cafe Du Monde beignet. Lots of good choices of donuts and kolaches.

Breakfast Kolache was KILLER!!! Apple Fritter BITES are a must try! Two very lovely ladies waited on me, all smiles and good vibes. Will ABSOLUTELY be back everytime I'm coming thru Laf. 10/10

I had an early flight out and stopped here before going to the airport and so glad I did. Had a cinnamon twist and a glazed that was still warm at 5:40 AM. They are delicious. How people working can be that friendly that early is beyond me but I appreciated it nonetheless. Great experience!

Best stuffed donuts, apple fritters. Offer Senior discount and paying cash. Cream cheese & chocolate stuffed donuts delicious. Serve some stuff with Ice cream ...have not tried yet. Check it out.

The best review I can give is this: the donuts were amazing. We arrived an hour and a half after opening time, and the donuts were still fresh. Service was okay. The lady at the counter was pleasant, though, we had to interrupt a lady in the kitchen a couple of times with questions who was not mean, but blunt. Altogether a great experience. If I am in Lafayette at breakfast time, I will go here again.

I have been to both Rue Louis location and Pinhook locations. To say your donuts are good would be the understatement of the century. They are so delicious, fresh and warm. My absolute favorite is your Maple bacon bar, oh my word that is good donut! The employees are always so friendly and helpful, it really makes your morning to have a smiling face greet you. Most Excellent!! The girl that helped me this morning was absolutely great and the hot, fresh, dozen glazed donuts were Fantastic...so was the fresh blueberry cake donut!! I thought the decor was awesome. That was my first experience there. I will be back with my husband and 3 children often to enjoy this fabulous establishment. Thanks for the great service!

The staff here is kind and helpful. I came with my three children to get birthday donuts. One of the Easter designs had a plastic egg on top, and we of course chose that one. When we were checking out, the sweet lady asked if we wanted two other surprise eggs as well. My kids were so excited and I loved the special attention to detail. We had the jalapeno kaloches and they were phenomenal!!! We also tried a variety of donuts; cake, eclair, apple fritter bites, and they were all fresh, warm, and so delicious. The staff was patient and helpful while we made our decisions. Will definitely be going back!

Literally walked in then walked completely out! WHILE WE WERE LOOKING FOR DRINKS MONICA ASKED US WHAT WE WANTED TO ORDER. You know. One of my highlights to coming to Lafayette on business was taking donuts from CD. Always a cheerful and delicious experience. Sadly today I was met with a very cranky personal who made little or no effort to communicate in a reasonably legible way. Perhaps she was just tired or sick? Seeing i am in sales, I understand the Importance of conveying a positive and pleasant attitude at all times. Its can be tough but it's part of my job. "Food" for thought.

Love the donuts from this place, so many choices to choose from. Lots of other things to choose from too. Very friendly staff, quick service and great donuts. What else can you ask for???? Will be back too again soon. Keep up the great food.

Excellent food, friendly workers, and very speedy service. I was in and out of the establishment within a minute. I guess the owners don?t pay employees enough, so customers are asked for tips. I don?t mind tipping when I receive an actual service, but when I am in a store for literally 45 seconds, it is both tacky and unprofessional to ask for a tip.

These are GREAT donuts! I'm not usually a fan of cake donuts because they're usually dry but the Red Velvet was amazing. The Apple Fritter holes were SO, SO good. Just the smell of the Boudin was most excellent. We'll be back next time we're in town.

The BEST kolaches ever This is a wonderful small town local coffee and donuts shop. I've had some of the donuts but I tend to gravitate towards the kolaches every time I go. Each location seems to have a different unique kolache the pulled pork kolache at the pinkook location is absolutely the best. Great donuts, poor business sense. Regularly get cold donuts. The last few times I've gone both, right when they open, and an hour after they do not have certain kolaches ready. We went just for that item. Happened multiple times.

The Broussard store need to have all donuts ready by the time they open. I have gone in at 7:00 am a couple of time and all they have is glazed donuts ready and today it was 7:30 and they didn't have half of there donuts done .this is not good for business at lease when it was the other place i could get anything i wanted at 6:00 am. so i am done with this store

Simply put. I visit every time I'm in town. No pics because the donuts don't last long enough. You'll have to try them to believe me.

They started out soo great, amazing donuts that i raved about. But recently (the last month or two) the pinhook location has started slipping. The blueberry donuts have been less like a donut and more like a heavy cake that don't even have holes. I got 1 the first time and figured it a fluke, the next time I got 2, and Sunday I got 3 and then a flat one. And for the first time ever, their glazed one tasted burnt. I threw away 9 out of a dozen. It's a shame because they're literally my only go to donut plac

First visit was on 5/28/17 before 9am. There was a line in the drive-thru, but the wait wasn't too long. The little girl working the window wasn't pleasant. After giving me my order,she took the money and walked away..no thank you or have a good day. Not good customer service and the ONLY thing I ordered was cold. I drove out of my way to come here..FIRST AND LAST VISIT!

While on the Cajun Food Bus Tour our first stop was here, where we experienced the most tasty and flavorful cake donuts, apple critters, and boudin filled pastry! Good job!

Donuts are good and so are the kolaches. The stuffed boudin kolache was awesome. There are several locations in the Acadiana area to make it easier to hit one of them.

I got doordash for here bc I currently cannot drive. Dasher comes with my food, nice chick, and I go inside with it. I check the bag and I only got half my order. Im missing like a whole 2 donuts. I can't call here bc the number just does a dial tone, the person who gave my dasher the food said everything was in the bag, haven't even responded to my messages about my food missing.

Donuts are fantastic, people are nice, but the Kolaches are really not good. The "sausage" kolache is not sausage, it is just a hot dog. The ham kolaches are always dry and half the time the dough is not cooked producing a terrible smell. I really wish UL would sell meche's kolaches!

Ok variety, but good doughnuts and boudin. Way better than Guilbeau Meches (less greasy and fully cooked). Really nice people even if they don't have the kinds of doughnuts I usually like (devil's food)

I love donuts that aren't stale the same day like Meche's. I personally think Cajun Market blows Meche's out the water, Willie has ruined the Donuts at Meche's. I only wish Cajun Donuts had Jelly Filled Donuts when they Open bc I get off of work at that time but they never have any ready! Please make Jelly Filled Early your loosing customers that have to suffer for Meche's go stale fast donuts!

Mostly every time I show up I purchase $75 to $80 of Kolaches. When I get there 9 times out of 10 there is not even a dozen of one kind cooked! I will say I drive over to Ricky Meche?s place and they have it cooked ready to go. I would go once a week but there is never enough cooked.

The food was hot and delicious and the workers were so nice they even gave me a towel to clean up the mess me and NY family made. I loved the restaurant and will always come back if I want donuts.

The pork stuffed bread is heavenly. I've tried a most of the donuts now and the sugar/cinnamon one is my favorite. It's light and cakey and very tastey. Highly recommend.

Went there at 9:30am on a Saturday. They were out of everything but glazed and chocolate icing donuts (and cinnamon rolls). No kolaches. Conversation: Me: What speciality donuts do you have? Great business that caters to front line workers and uniformed personnel. Not to mention that their donuts are great, nice variety with Cajun kick in flavor everyone should visit and taste test.

Incredible. Sets itself apart with consistencies and flavors that don't imitate local standard Meche's. I love and crave Meche's but now I have a completely different option that I crave equally at different times. Good stuff in a cozier environment than Meche's.

I love this place and it's always good when I go. They will even add stuff to your donut if you ask them too. (I like mine with extra icing) lol.

My son prefers Cajun Market. He loves that they aren't as overwhelmingly sweet as others. Selection is good but they sometimes make only a few of a special type.

Great donuts but the drive through like was ridiculous. Employees did not know what they were doing and it took forever. Not returning to this location.

The people were super super nice, knowledgeable and worked quickly to get our order in. The donuts and donut holes were fantastic but I don?t recommend getting any kolaches, especially the boudin or jalape?o boudin.

I get the chili dog kolaches every couple of weeks. Tried a number of other things, and I liked them all.

Ehh doughnut tasted stale and looked like it sat on the rack for a while, the boudin was just ok
