Such a chill atmosphere! The decor was cool, plenty of seating and the tables were spaced well too. Erin was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She recommended a hot latte AND a Dalgona cafe latte. Both drinks were so well made (read: delicious) that we ended up getting another one ??. Definitely recommend the place and the drinks.
Fantastic little place for coffee and treats! Impeccable staff! Really good coffee. One suggestion, please carry stevia. Definitely will continue to support this lovely coffee shop.
I got the original mochi donut and the pink panther. The pink panther glaze tastes like Bubblegum. I'm not a fan personally but the original version was good. The lady at the counter speaks very loudly even though it's very quiet in here. The decor makes this place look like it belongs in Colorado. It's a good sized space though so I think it would be more popular if was a more inviting space. The mural along the wall is very pretty though. I'd come back. They have a $5 minimum if you're using card, which i
They were sold out of donuts for the day, but I really enjoyed the blueberry cream cheese croffle (waffle-crossaint). Def something I'd come back to try again! Great customer service.
TL;DR: The food is excellent and has good prices, and the atmosphere and study spots make this an excellent coffee shop to work out of the house. I found this place looking for somewhere to get out of the house. I spend a lot of time on the computer, since I go to an animation school, as well as animate in my free time. It was difficult for me to stay productive working on my home computer and I often felt cooped up in my room, so I knew I needed to go somewhere else to get work done. I was worried my sea
Used the drive-thru. Got a dalgona latte and some mochinuts. Coffee was delicious - the dalgona a perfect balance of sweetness. The mochinuts were perfect as well. I had a strawberry, matcha, and dalmatian (cookies and cream or Oreo) mochinut. All three were perfect, and I really appreciated how accurate the flavors were - especially the strawberry.
Just moved to the area and I'm trying to find my coffee shop. Loved the Himalayan theming here (at least, that was my interpretation) and friendly service. Delicious coffee, Boba tea, and pastries. Not busy at the time, felt like a hidden gem.
The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere! The murals and design was very creative. Thought it would be a great place for a business meeting, but that was not the case. The people working there were so loud talking to each other when taking drive thru orders etc. that we could hardly carry on a conversation because they were so loud. We tried the Croffles and they were okay, but nothing I would go back for again and I certainly would not go back for a business meeting. Maybe it was just a fluke
The were open early and that's always a plus. I was here for about three hours starting from just after 6:00 and using Caffe Promenade as my first "office" of the day. A great coffee and a delicious donut as I powered away at the keyboard. The place is comfortable, a little eclectic and quite busy with people coming and going to get their coffee in the morning. The drive through was busy the entire time I was here!
Friendly fast service. The food is always fresh. I had a passion fruit mango green tea with strawberry popping boba. It was superb. Also we had the cinnamon, dalmatian, black sesame mochi donut! They were delicious.
We are from Arkansas and discovered this gem on google. Let me tell you, we ended up coming back several times. To be specific we went 3x within 24 hrs. Everything was absolutely incredible!! When we come to the Dallas area again, we will be back. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Get yourself that strawberry cream croffle. You won?t regret it!
You have to try the chai here; it's got just the right amount of spicy kick contracting the sweet warmth. I really like all the food, too! Mochi donuts, cookies, baked goods, chicken salad, and everything else on the menu is, looks, or sounds good! The vibe is also super awesome. There's also a drive-thru in case you are in a hurry. Caffeine recharge here!
Cafe Promenade has a special place in my heart. It was the first local coffee spot I found that was closest to my residence that I tried after moving to Allen. The owners are cool and down to earth. I go there mainly for their coffee but occasionally grab a bite or two, to go. My personal favorite coffee beverage is their Dalgona Candy Latte, with 2 extra shots (3 total). Their breakfast sandwich always hit the spot, I usually order the croissant breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and American cheese. The
We're still here and I am compelled to write a review about this fantastic place. I am in a state of bliss post-chocolate cream cronut. This is really how pastry should be. This is the real deal. Between both of us, we tried a chocolate cream cronut, a strawberry cream croffle, an iced hazelnut latte, and an iced Thai tea with tapioca boba. Outstanding, absolutely outstanding. The service we received was pleasant. The vibe in here is an eclectic mix of Rocky mountain lodge and coffee house. It's giving "y
The mochi donuts are always delicious from here. This place would be a good place for studying or doing remote work. The interior design is a lil quirky but it's clean and peaceful and I kinda like that vibe if I'm honest.
Cool decent sized coffee place with desserts and a good amount of desks and outlets! The chai and matcha latte were pretty solid as well. They also have a drive through.
This place is fantastic! I love the vibes and how super friendly the owner is. She always greet the customers with smile. What a lovely lady. This place offers coffee and pastry. I always coming back to this place to get the Javachip drinks and chocolate mochi donut. Oh, they also have window for drive-thru. Don't skip this place especially if you live around Allen, TX. Highly recommended!
Awesome atmosphere and great customer service. The Bulgogi is good but the menu is fairly limited on any non-sweets. Their coffee beans are more on the darker side and more bitter. Great place to study or work, but the music is on the louder side.
Wonderful mochi donuts! So light and fluffy, just like I love them. They have fantastic flavors. The green tea and lemon are two of my favorites. Strawberry is another winner.
Loved the Thai Iced Tea w Tapioca. Perfectly sweetened for my family (not as sweet as your usual) Had green tea with tropical flavor options for my younger son. I love that the mochi donuts are not greasy or overly sweet. Matcha is my favorite, not very sweet at all, think of a cruller. If you're looking for a sweeter option, the chocolate covered or vanilla were my boys' faves.
Love the mochi donuts a lot; so delicious! The cashier (probably the owner) was very friendly and energetic.
I recently started coming here for breakfast and it is really good. I?ve tried the mochi donuts, the turkey sandwich and their breakfast croissant sandwich. I haven?t been disappointed so far. They have fair prices and I like that the food is fresh.
Donuts were nice. Great plating, nice atmosphere
Croffle sounds good a croissant from a waffle iron... nope. Room temperature stale and sad. Also, had an espresso served in a paper cup for a 'here or to-go' order that was 'here' People are nice there, maybe it was an off day.
The food, the interior, and the atmosphere were all so great. If you want to enjoy a dessert, this would be the most perfect place.
Loved the vibe of this place. I got a few mochi donuts, a cronut, and a matcha lavender with oat milk. The cronut was the best one I?ve ever had tbh, and I really liked my drink! I will definitely be coming back again, it had great remote work vibes! The woman behind the counter was super sweet :)
Decided to stop by this morning because I?ve been wanting to come here since it?s so close by. I got mochi donuts and cafe au lait. Everything was so delicious. I was surprised that the cafe au lait was just what i like (creamy and not too sweet). I?m already craving it as I write this lol The staff there was also very friendly! Will definitely be back!!
This place was Escap? when I visited the first time many years ago, they have since rebranded and it was nothing short of perfecting the previous business. This is a great spot to catch up on that homework, answer emails or even find some "me" time reading a book, all while enjoying hand crafted coffees or signature donuts!
This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it! I love finding places tucked away like this. The Barista/Baker/Chef did an amazing job explaining everything to me and was very patient my with my indecisiveness. Everything looked good! However, after tasting the breakfast sandwich, I definitely should have just stuck with the coffee and donuts. You can never go wrong with those! The sandwich was very small and tasted a little stale, but the coffee was great and their pastries were fantastic. ?????
Very affordable, decent, coffee. Pastries are fresh as well. Decide was a little dated but the concept was just too cute to really complain. The owner is really nice as well. It's a bit out of my way, but I'd drop by again for sure.
I usually come here for their mochi donuts and croffle. Today I decided to do drive thru and also get a breakfast sandwich. And to my surprise, the croissant was so tiny! Just look at the photo and compare the size of the egg with the croissant. I also think they can do a better job with the take-out/drive thru packaging. Other than that, I still love this place and will still go. But maybe I won?t get the breakfast sandwich next time
I heard about this place from a family member and I was very excited to try it out. I went to the drive-thru, unsure of what I wanted to get. The lady there was super nice and helped me as I decided what I wanted. I got mochi donuts, croffle, and iced coffee. The mochi donuts and croffle were amazing but the coffee tasted absolutely disgusting. The water kept separating from the drink and it tasted really bad. I had to throw it out. Overall, everything was amazing except for the coffee! I would still recomm
Very cool cafe with good coffee, pastries, and free WiFi. I love the textured murals and mosaic on the walls. Great place to work or meet a friend. Recommended ????
Super unique inside, wow. I love the art in there. Great service, the coffee's really good.
We've had coffee here off and on for a long time. Good tasting lattes and coffee. Nice small variety of pastries.
The small business has a wonderful atmosphere & is beautifully decorated! The service was prompt & courteous. The coffee was delish & very hot! I didn't order anything, so I'll have to go back again & try one of the yummy donuts they had!
Good breve latte and really nice atmosphere. Happen to be in the area and decided to come by for my breve latte. Upon coming inside I'm taken aback by the atmosphere it's very neat from any coffee cafe I've been to. I ordered my drink and a chocolate donut. Both we're pretty good. This place is an a area that's not far from 75 and Bethany but enough away not to be over crowded. Would recommend when in the area.
Sooo good! The owner was so cute and friendly! I got the mochi donut-amaaaazing! She gave us a sample of the choffle also. Really good!
$27 for 4 donuts and 2 dirty chais. The coffee was not pulled fresh from the espresso machine. Drinks were made with everything from the shelf (including coffee). The donuts were subpar. And overall just not the best quality 4 out of 10.
Overpriced. Not worth it. $6 for a ?croffle? that was still cold when it was served to us. My daughter did like the croissant Lola he. Side note: we were swatting fruit flies inside the entire time, which felt really icky.
Love their dalgona coffee. Plenty of seating for studying or work on laptop.
The staff are super nice and patient with orders. They work fast and almost every time I go everything is correct and delicious. Only complaint is the cafe mocha I ordered last week tasted like just milk and coffee. Otherwise this is a great local coffee spot.
Nice people, nice place And nice drinks for sure!
Great place to setup to work. Staff very friendly, fun coffee options, quiet with nice music in the background.
Go to this place every week. It's a home town coffee shop. Great coffee, great service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended over big box coffee shops. If miss what Starbucks used to be, come here for a nice quiet spot.
Nice little place, must visit! Their mochi donuts really have the texture of mochi (and taste good too)! The croffle was also good.
Long wait. Waited at the counter for 10 minutes to order. 2 staff were at the counter preparing drinks but did not acknowledge that I was there. It would have been better if one of them said that they can help me soon.
While the coffee hit the spot,?the croissant sandwich was unfortunately soggy,?likely from being microwaved.?The cronut also had an unpleasant aftertaste.
What a well decorated space! It's comfy, the music is great! (Smooth jazz) and the Korean twist on the menu is fun! I really wanted ti try the cronut, but it's only available on certain days... I'll catch ya next time... cronie! ??
A nice little place here. The staff was friendly and the coffee was good.
I live one min walk from this store and has never been until now. Tried their Thai milk tea for starter, price is definitely high at 5.5 a small cup. I cannot believe how much they watered it down by adding excessive ice, and on top of the ice, the taste is the worst i have had anywhere. This place needs to learn how to make milk tea. I am glad i never came to this place in the past few years and will never come again.
When I popped in shortly before close with one of my little guys, I ordered a green tea latte while he had a banana smoothie with mango popping pearls. Each of them was quite a treat while we dove into our books for a few minutes and soaked on the ambiance, making sure not to overstay our welcome.
I have been going to this place for YEARS! Like this was here back when I was in elementary! The owner is so nice, she welcomed you proudly and her food?? Delicious! The atmosphere?? Perfect to study in! It doesn?t feel stuffy, it feels very open and overall nice! I highly recommend this place! Definitely try their bulgogi sandwich and their chococroffle cause they are so good!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Yummy yummy coffee and great food options. The owner is beyond kind and actually seems to care about you (the customer). This is an amazing place to study and relax or maybe go on a fun but casual date !!
Love the friendly service and the coffee! I found a new place to work and focus, will be coming back for sure. Price is reasonable too compared to other inflated prices at other coffee or boba shops I?ve seen lately
I really do like this place.... the people are great. The coffee is good, I like mochi donuts. The croffels never seem to be fresh for some reason. But mainly, I really miss how this place used to be. Their donuts were great. There was variation and options.why only mochi donuts and cold unfresh croffels? Wish mochi donuts were just an added option and not a replacement. I went from going here at least a couple times a month to once every few months.
Personally, I enjoyed this place. The owner (I assume) is loud, but very friendly. There is plenty of seating and space. And I absolutely love the decor and art on the walls. I only had a latte and a croffle, but they were good. I would definitely go back and recommend.
coffee is great and i could probably eat 10 spinach feta treats. love the cabin theme, though im a bit sad there are no bears in the murals. my girlfriend looooves their mochi donuts!
Great doughnuts, cool atmosphere, great service. The Nutella turnover is yummy!
The shop owner is so sweet. My husband and I always stop here for a treat when we take our son to the dentist. The coffee is great and the baked goods are amazing. My favorite is the croffle, waffle made from croissant!
Super tasty and unique pastries. Yummy drinks, studious yet warm atmosphere, and BEAUTIFUL art along every wall. One of my favorite study spots ??
The server is extremely loud. People come to coffee shops to study, read, hang out with friends, chill and have a quiet moment. The server is 24/7 hyper, which does not match the environment at all. She is disturbing every guest here with her noise pollution.
Not a fan of donuts, but here they are so good!
This place is amazing. They have the best donuts ever: the bread is fluffy and dense, not overcooked or greasy with lots of air pockets. The chocolate is rich and delicious, and the cream filling in the chocolate eclair is smooth and perfect. (Have I encouraged you to get a donut yet? ;)) Seriously, this is hands down the best donut shop around, and I have tried several. The ambiance is also warm and inviting. The staff is always pleasant, and it is very clean. They are also taking very good measures duri
This is one of my favorite places. The atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and the owner is amazing. Very great customer service! Definitely a customer for life!
My fiance and I got four mochi donuts and two flavored lattes (toffee nut and coconut). I liked all of the flavors of the mochi donuts and they were chewy and tasty! We asked for one chocolate and then told her to pick the other three, we were not disappointed! The lattes were also good, I thoroughly enjoyed my coconut flavored one! She was very nice behind the counter and quick too!
Great coffee, great pricing, friendly staff, clean and cozy atmosphere. What more could you want from a coffee shop? They had a delicious smelling selection of fresh donuts too (although I didn't try any). Definitely will come back here again.
Wanted a place with good latte and atmosphere. Caffee Promenade is very chill with tasty food and drinks and the prices are great. Plenty of outlets so if you wanted to get work done, there's a lot of food and drink options to keep your stomach full. The staff are super kind and helpful.
It is amazing! I love the Mochi Donuts there, but there's one thing wrong, well in my opinion. Well actually here's the thing, I was hoping to have Boba with tapioca pearls, but that opens on 12:00,as a schoolgirl, I don't have that time, because that's when I am on my reading class. But overall it is amazing, I totally recommend to go there.
We come here every Sunday before church for coffee, tea and sometimes a small bite. Great service and environment. Tea and coffee is good. Savory food is average, good to have when needed. Croffles are very good.
Amazing place that is very unique, with the way it is decorated and the menu that is more than original. Erin is very friendly and the staff as well. I love calling this place my little escape. I would go there every day if I lived closer.
Favorite cafe ever! Best donuts ever! Their icings are so yummy and I don?t think I would think to say that about another donut shop. But the strawberry and chocolate ones are my FAV! Okay but mostly, their hot chocolate is THE BEST EVER! You have to try it Blended! Or more commonly called Frozen Hot Chocolate! I have never tried a hot chocolate recipe that is like this one! They better never close cause I need this in my life. I also love their Peach or Mango Snows in the summer! They also have yummy cake
I have been coming to this place for over six years now, and my experience has been exceptional. Excellent tasting food and drinks, and of course, the friendly owner and the staff make it a great experience every time!
This place is okay. It kind of just reminds me of another Starbucks. There aren?t many pastry options and the ones they do have aren?t fresh. The atmosphere is really nice though, it?s a cute place to sit and do work.
Solid neighborhood coffee shop that has been around for a while. After a few visits, you will see some familiar faces and book clubs come in. Internet will require you to ask for a password, but is reasonably fast. Sometimes it is only staffed with a single person, so be patient if you hit a busy time. Coffee is good (milk teas are too), but getting a conversation or work done here is pleasant.
Nice atmosphere but loud server, expensive food and a lot of ice on the americano.
Pleasant service and atmosphere also there's a drive through if your in a hurry or don't want to get out! They have a variety of things but I absolutely love their glazed donuts and a white mocha latte. Addictive!
As for the food. It?s mid at best and not as quite expected. Sandwiches are quite small in size. Coffee is below average for sure. I?ve tried their croffle and it was dry.
I enjoy this coffee/donut shop very much. My children enjoy the donuts and so do I. The decor is pretty earthy and the couches are comfortable. It's one of the few independent coffee shops that I am aware of in Allen. Tired of Starbucks, try these guys out.
Absolutely LOVE this place! My favorite drink is the hot chocolate with Caramel syrup. If you let them know you don?t want it super hot they can make it the perfect temperature for you to enjoy immediately rather than waiting for it to cool down. They have pretty much everything Starbucks has but shorter lines and nice decor! I like to come here when I want to catch up with friends but not be in a loud crowded place like Starbucks. I have been coming here for years! I would come hang out here when I was in
Nice place in Allen! Friendly barista, nice seating areas to get some work done. Drive through bell is a bit loud and jarring unfortunately, feels a bit out of place in an otherwise low key spot. Coffee was surprisingly good! Decent food selection.
I hate to give an independent coffee shop a bad review but the espresso I ordered is so visibly burnt and smells so burnt (and tastes so burnt) there's no way they couldn't tell before they gave it to me.
Twice for coffee. First time had a treat but not sure what to call it. 2nd visit was for 2 cups of coffee; total was 2 cents below the required $5 minimum to be allowed to use a credit card.
Updating this review Aug 2021. They no longer serve donuts. Or cinnamon rolls. They now offer mochi style donuts, which are rubbery and just not what I (or any donut lover) is looking for. Previously their cake donuts, glazed and chocolate, and cinnamon rolls were fantastic here. They were so tasty that they would regularly sell out before close. Why would you stop serving that? Why you wouldn't try to slowly integrate these newer items in with your bestsellers instead of just immediately alienating your
Very good local coffee shop! I wish they had a better method of warming muffins and such but it's not a big deal. Better Matcha Green Tea Latte than Starbucks!(I worked for Starby's). Very cool interior with a mural of mountains and such and a chill comfortable vibe. Definitely reccomend going here
FAVORITE place to chill. The atmosphere is completely relaxed with comfortable couches, chairs and relaxed music, yet they also have a large table with outlets and chairs for quiet business meetings and work. Food is super tasty with smoothies, donuts and other breakfast fare. And the interior design of the place is VERY detailed and unique. My favorite place to go and catch up with good friends, read a book, get some work done or just relax.
The cafe is super cute and the food was delicious! i tried the croffle, cronut, croffle, and mochi donut. the maple pecan mochi donut is a must-have! i loved this cafe
Cafe Promenade used to be called Escap?. It's worth noting that the name was the only thing that changed. The same owner. The same great ambiance, same great drinks and food, and the same wonderful and caring owner. I only bring it up to say that I've been a regular at this coffee shop for years, and have loved it extensively. The interior decoration was designed and installed by the owner, and it's nothing short of amazing. I've never been in a coffee shop with a more relaxing and comfortable ambiance. B
