I enjoy drinking at Cafe Dulce. I usually get the Apple Spiced Latte and my Mom gets the Rose Tea Latte which is really good!! I enjoy the Foam of the Latte. Last Saturday I tried the Blueberry Matcha Latte and it is really good!! The Service was Good when I was going to get the Matcha Latte but the Casher Recommend the Blueberry Matcha Latte. I not usually a Matcha Person but now if I want to drink a Matcha Drink then I will go to Cafe Dulce!! It gets crowded on either the Morning or Noon Time and the Line

We wanted some coffee and saw everyone with a dulce cup so we obviously had to try some . This place always has a line ! They have some interesting unique desserts ?? we were too full from the crepe earlier down the street and just wanted some coffee . We chose the Vietnamese iced coffee . Four shots of espresso shaken with condensed milk. It was refreshing , delicious and not that sweet - really enjoyed it !

We got there at 11:25 and beat the noon lunch rush. The food came out fairly quickly and service was good! The ranchera steak burrito was good and filling The spicy chicken sandwich was really food! Breakfast burrito with avocado was also good! Definitely coming back!

I & my wife very enjoyed going to this cafe in the morning, because is the morning is not that crowded, and can slowly enjoy breakfast sandwich & morning coffee at this cafe, the coffee is good, but the most delicious is the breakfast sandwich, the sauce on the sandwich is perfect not too rich and can taste everything. Good little Tokyo, it feels like you in Japan the same, of course the price is not high at all, one coffee one matcha latte and one breakfast sandwich, only cost me $23

Our to-go cafe if we're in the Little Tokyo area. We tried hot chocolate, blueberry matcha and Hong Kong tea latte before. All were excellent and not too sweet or diluted by milk. The highlight of this cafe is the baked goods. We liked the strawberry cream puff a lot! They have donuts and cake slices too that are popular. Overall, would recommend everyone stop by if you're in the area.

I ordered a beef kimchi sandwich with a salad . They charge .50 cents extra for dressing which I didn?t mind to pay until I tasted it and I could tell it was bottled made . They used to have a homemade dressing that was sooo delicious. The bottom of my sandwich was wet from the kimchi. Totally different experience from the last time I had it . I don?t recommend you buy the sandwich but the donuts are great .

Hong Kong TEA LATTES with Matcha Milk Bun ??Such a perfect combination!!! Highly recommend this store when you visit Little Tokyo in LA.

Coffee Shop No. 429 Cafe Dulce Little Tokyo L.A., California October 10, 2024 A short stop in L.A. took me to Cafe Dulce in Little Tokyo ?s Japanese Village so I could enjoy a cortado with one of my original coffee buddies. After five and half years of living in Japan the people and their culture are very dear to my heart; so visiting a coffee shop in the middle of a Japanese Cultural Center was very nostalgic for me. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

The fruity pebble donut holes have had an unreasonable chokehold on my wallet for 9 years now. I am also absolutely obsessed with the tapioca rolls that have sesame seeds inside. The brick toast is fantastic, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts are great too, and the roti?s are not too sweet but just right. This spot also serves some pretty decent espresso. Excellent place to stop by for a sweet treat!

I was in Little Tokyo in LA and had to try the donuts! And I wasn?t disappointed. The donuts are fresh and yeast raised. They have the perfect balance of sugar. I tried the macadamia nut with a maple glaze and the green tea. The macadamia nut was the basic recipe good everyone should enjoy. The green tea donut was different yet enjoyable. The green tea flavor mixes well with the filling. The filling is a little thicker like a custard and has its own flavor that works for the donut. I am most surpri

This is the spot for some donuts! They have the best Apple Pie Donut, that doesn?t disappoint. There?s always a line but it moves quick. They offer a variety of items such as cakes, donuts, food and drinks like coffee. I?ve only had donuts from here I always get the Apple pie one. The strawberry cream one is also good, a little on the sweet side but good. Definitely trying a food item next.

Very good coffee And selection of unique cakes I had a blueberry toast and tapioca roll Both were excellent

Love this place. The staff are friendly and helpful and I've tried almost every drink on the menu - they're all good. I love the blueberry matcha, plus their pastries and sandwiches are super good too. The line looks daunting and long, but it goes by super fast and I get my drink faster too. They also validate parking if you park in the plaza structure.

I came here for a date, a friend came here for a date too. So... You know what you need to do too! ?? But even without a date, the food, the pastries, the various drinks, are all worth a try. If you can somehow avoid the long line though, try to visit this place.

Great spot for a morning coffee, breakfast, or a treat! The burrito was tasty and filling, and I highly recommend it. I love the atmosphere and watching the comings and goings of people as I sit and enjoy my coffee. I look forward to going back.

It's so good ?? got blueberry matcha latte, creme brulee matcha donut, and matcha cream

I normally don?t like cafe matchas but this was the exception! I got the matcha latte and mocha roti while my friend got the rose oolong tea, all super good. Outdoor seating had a great atmosphere

Party of 2 Turkey sandwich Latte Matcha 2 fruit tarts Everything was excellent, delicious Seat yourself, fills up fast, and just as quick is empty and then all over again. They are popular for a reason. Clean, pretty. -1 no restroom

Very poorly kept secret if it even is a secret. Fast, cheap, high quality, solid portions and good service. Line out the door on a monday from 12 straight to 1 but it moves fast, even though the employees don't seem like they're rushing. In fact, they seem like they're having an equally pleasant time as the customers. Reminds you how a well run establishment is supposed to look like however rare that may be nowadays. The only issue at all is finding a place to sit. But once you do, it has a nice clean inter

Matcha latte is not bad flavor wise. Keep in mind if you ask for light ice they will give you a cup that is significantly less full. For a $7 large drink, I wish they had disclosed this to me at the checkout counter before I ordered and was surprised to see a drink that looked like it was only halfway full (when I asked they said the ice is part of the cost.) I?m usually not the person to complain about this but just an FYI to others who don?t like watered down matcha.

There are friendly service and beautiful food! I order burrito what a really amazing taste a little spicy. If you visit around Japan village,Miyako hotel,Little Tokyo so should be visit this Cafe Duice!

Love the doughnut! They have some exotic unordinary cake as well! The shop was super clean! You can either dine in or to go! I will definitely go back for more!

Tried a mango cream donut. Slightly sweet and sour. They tried their best to bring it close to a real mango flavor. Cream filling was light. Service was quick. Nice ambience, few tables to sit and eat outside to enjoy the meal

The donuts were delicious overall, but we did find a blonde hair baked into one of them near the bottom and none of us who purchased them have blonde hair. The service also wasn?t the best, as the girl who helped us came off as quite dismissive. Despite these issues, the donuts themselves were tasty, so I?d consider giving it another try, hoping for a better experience next time.

Their blueberry matcha and vietnamese coffee were great. Nice selection of sweet and savory pastries as well!

We got the mango milk bun, snow cap roti, and fruit tart. They were all good, but I liked the mango mill bun best.

The texture of the donuts here are amazing. Most of the donuts have a light and fluffy texture. We got the orea, the strawberry jam, the strawberry cream, dino churro, hazelnut cream, and blueberry pito. The strawberry jam was simple and delicious, the hazelnut was like a sweet biscuit with hazelnut cream inside. The oreo was like a giant oreo, the dino churro had a very good fluffy texture but not much of a taste. The strawberry cream was ok just very heavy on the cream and the blueberry was a little chemi

We were wandering little Tokyo and stumbled upon this little Cafe. Line out the door so we assumed it must be good and we wanted coffee. I saw they had Vietnamese iced coffee on the menu and really wanted to try it out. It was really expensive here, a little overpriced for me. We also grabbed a fruity pebbles rice Krispy treat. That was the best part. The wait was pretty long and not much space inside to wait. The coffees were a no go. Super disappointed, we didn't finish our drinks. Seems to be a very po

Stopped in twice while on vacation. As good as the breakfast burrito was, I liked the breakfast sandwich with avocado even more.

This is a terrific spot to get some breakfast and a coffee. That's what I did when visiting here. It appeared that the desserts were pretty popular as well. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee when I came here. While it wasn't as strong as some of the other Vietnamese coffee I've tried, it had a great flavor and gave me the jolt that I needed. For food, I got the breakfast burrito and then the spicy Korean cheesesteak, which were both excellent. The burrito was very tasty and filling. The cheesesteak was also

1 hour free with validation Hong Kong latte was good with a mini bun and cream brulee. The cashier didn't like working today - picky attitude.

Vietnamese coffee was okay, but missing something. Cafe bakery items looked pleasant, but didn?t try them. Dulce coffee was good according to my wife. As always, post wherever your palate takes you.

The service is the freaking worse. The staff is the rudest I have ever encountered in any coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff gets upset when you ask about the drink sizes in the cups! I requested easy ice on my drink and they mentioned that I would be getting my drink with less coffee. The 24oz drink is not really 24oz more like 20-21 oz like one of the staff members mentioned. They get very upset when you ask why the customer is getting less coffee on their drink. I was about to pay for my drink e

I have ordered matcha latte with oat milk and I can really taste the good quality of matcha. Egg and cheese with turkey sandwich was really good. We also ordered the hazelnut tart was just ok, as I have tried better than this one. The service was really perfect with the lady trying to accommodate all the individuals in the Que.

We wanted to buy some donuts and he told us it?s closed and 2 girls came after us and he sold them cake? In front of us?!?? He was very rude to us!!!

A terrific go-to stop for sweets, cakes and a tasty jolt of caffeine. Located in the foot traffic heavy part of the Japanese Village Plaza it's in a perfect spot to take a small break from walking. The donuts are great especially the coffee, macadamia and Oreo (see picture). Their London fog is intoxicatingly aromatic and well balanced. Even a classic like hot chocolate is decadent, creamy and velvety soft. Consistently delicious and prompt service. Highly recommended.

Great donuts and coffee place in the heart of little tokyo. Tried their green tea and snickers donuts. Highly recommended. As for drinks we tried their blue berry matcha latte & cappucino. Staff are friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and well organized. They have a wide variety of donuts.

I came here for national donut day. This is a very cute cafe. Their donuts are not cheap, $3.75 each. The cashier was not too friendly, and she was a bit short with me. I asked her for recommendation for a popular donut. She recommended the donuts on the second row, and she mentioned about matcha. I purchase the matcha. When I had my first bite, the donut was soggy. I did not taste matcha. The only thing I appreciate is that the donut is not overly sweet. I felt like eating a soggy custard filled bread that

Nice little Cafe to check out if you're in the area. The food and service was great. The atmosphere was nice but a bit crowded/compact. Ordered their snow roti bun (not too sweet and resembles pan bread) and the Hong Kong milk tea (iced, and also not too sweet, would recommend).

Nice vibe in this place! They have a lot of great drinks to choose from that are very refreshing as well as very very tasty and attractive desserts. Nice setting in Little Tokyo where you can walk around and enjoy a fresh dessert or juice here. The lemonade is pretty good too! A bit pricy but worth it if you're visiting Little Tokyo.

Nice assortment of drinks but the highlight of the cafe is the unique doughnuts including green tea & red bean paste. Check out the photos for all the flavors. It's not that big so I just grabbed food & left. Check them out if you want something festive and different. Located in the heart of the Japanese village.

Really great cafe in Little Tokyo. The pastries are super good, would recommend the matcha donut / rotis. The drinks are quite good as well, with great coffee. Beware, the Vietnamese Coffee is SUPER strong. Very friendly staff as well, would definitely come back whenever we're in the area.

Meh. What I ordered had a good look but the taste was just okay. The donut tastes like it's been sitting there for a while-- was attracted by the look in the first place. A bit pricey for a donut, macadamia or not. Maybe I just don't know what to order. It's an impromptu buy. I think I'm already converted to American's taste/style when it comes to donut, so the sweetness can be stronger (so it goes with a cup of coffee). To me, It's not even sweet enough for a high tea. But if one prefer a much lighter ta

Cute cafe that had a fair amount of outdoor patio seating Had the iced green tea which had a very strong matcha taste. First time for me to have this drink but I liked. The pastry was also tasty and i would come back

I was wandering around little Tokyo after I got off of work this morning and found Dulce cafe! I got the fruity pebble buttercream donut hole, a blueberry matcha latte and also got one of the best breakfast burritos I?ve ever had all for under $15! This place might be my new jam everything was really good! Flavor, texture and freshness! The guy who took my order was friendly, patient and helpful when I couldn?t decide what I wanted to drink instead of coffee. I will definitely be back!

Great place to get coffee and a little snack, perfect location if you?re just walking around and need a pick me up. Good seating and friendly staff. Go with their recommendations, they have alternative milks if you?re lactose intolerant too.

Went in there asking for a certain item. Cashier looked at me as if I was dumb. Didn't greet me or smile. Bad customer service. Girl needs to be replaced with a friendlier and welcoming person. Didn't end up buying anything because of the attitude.

Great pastry options ($2-3) and they have some pretty inventive drinks. The blueberry matcha and dulce latte are signature drinks that are a bit on. the sweet side but also very nice. The staff here are nice and the lines move pretty quickly.

This place has the most delicious Donuts I have ever had. My favorites are the Maccadamian, Maple Bacon and Strawberrie Jam Donut. They also have this buttery honey sweet pastry called brick toast that's just amazing!!!! This place is an absolute must if you're looking for something special.

Absolutely incredible! I've been here twice for the blueberry matcha latte and matcha donut. They're breakfast burrito is amazing too! They use thick bacon slices.

This place is fantastic. We got the bacon donut hole, with a green tea donut and a strawberry one. Each of them were definitely worth trying, and I would highly recommend trying some of these great pastries.

Love this spot. People r awesome. Vibe is amazing. Parking sucks but it?s Jtown. Can?t get around it. For the first time, I sat down today on one of the stone seats and just enjoyed my dulce latte, mocha roti and just soaked in the vibe and view. Clouds and sky were amazing today. So picturesque. Saw families walking by, tourists taking pictures, just some gooooood schtuff man. They have the Japanese lanterns hanging from a string and the wet asphalt smell going on. Just a good morning before heading to a

Drip donut blend coffee was awful taste old stale & bitter. ?? ambiance, no rest rooms available in Japanese village only restaurants with free rest rooms facilities

The best breakfast burrito downtown. Fantastic pastry treats (don't underestimate the og roti), and great coffee smack in the middle of the Japanese Village. Nice when it's empty, superb people watching when it's busy. Just a nice, cute place. Update: still bomb ?? 2nd Update: I have cracked the cheat code. Ready? Breakfast burrito with avocado, ADD STEAK. See photo for magnificence. One of the best things I've eaten and I've eaten a lot of things. My only hope is if they add it to the menu that they use my

Have you ever lick the tip of a battery and wondered. What would be to drink that taste? Say no more! Cafe Dulce got your back in the most Terrible Brewed coffee in DTLA ! They have the most Acid Tasting coffee that by the time you're halfway in your train commute, the only thing in your mind will be thought of buying remorse for such an audacity of brown battery AA Water you have tasted 30 minutes ago. What a disgrace of Coffee that even my ancestors were Disappointed in the afterlife.

Huge selection of Asian baked goods plus delicious inventive donuts, rolls and toast, they have some vegan stuff too. Efficient, friendly service even if crowded as usual. Parking structure on site.

5 stars for this gem in the heart of Little Tokyo. We?ve been here before and tried a bunch of ?just before closing? goods and felt I needed to come back at a time more reflective of daily business Best Vietnamese Coffee!! 5stars Seasonal Lemonade. 3.5 stars. Good but blue?!? Pastrami Burger! 4.25 stars. Excellent ingredients, obvious local market select, coleslaw garnish provides a serious splash of flavors that takes the sandwich in another direction (not my simple flavor approach, but very good). Bun, b

I was there on a Sunday morning and as soon as I got there I was the first to order. I said good morning and the coffee guy behind didn't even look at me. The whole process was just awful. He look Asian, he's on the heavier side and with a lot of acne all over his face. I didn't ask for his name. His attitude was just horrible. Needless to say, the coffee was horrible. I'll never return to this plaza and to this disgusting coffee place as long as this moody young guy works there.

Vietnamese ice coffee has mostly ice. I asked for less ice but still got a full cup of ice. Mocha roti has nothing in it, I am not sure was that supposed to be.

Had some donuts for National Donut day. Their glaze is a little over sweet, but taste good. Strawberry Jam donut has great amount of actual strawberry. yum. My favorite here is dinosaur bun! Very chewy, not too sweet, and crunchy skin. I like their donut hole too! nice mini size ???? I?ve never tried drinks from this location, but Cafe dulce?s drinks are usually pretty good (green tea latte, tea latte, dulce latte etc) You won?t get disappointed.

The match is great! I really enjoyed the blueberry matcha and my dude got the premium. The donuts were ?meh? hence the 4 star rating. The only donut that was worth mentioning was the matcha donut! Pretty tasty!

Cafe Dulce is in the heart of LA's Little Tokyo. They sell donuts and other baked goods and everything we had was delicious! The place isn't very big and doesn't have a ton of seating, but there are tables right outside that we found a spot. It was quite lovely. Make this your go-to reason to explore Little Tokyo and take it from there.

Our cake ??slices ??were delicious ???? service e was a bit too slow bc they are pretty amd like to take their time with customers. It's nice that they care for the customers but it wouldn't hurt to rush it up a bit ?? just a thought so you guys can get to more customers bc the line can get pretty long. Their apple pie was also delicious, so fresh and so good. Highly recommend this place specially if you have a late night cake craving ????

the coffee is always terrific! the baristas are great, the selection is quite very good, and the preparation is always well-executed. I also think that the pastries are well-paired

If you like deserts and good wraps this is the place. One of my favorites is the cakes made fresh everyday and drinks and freshly made like the coffee's.

It s very nice Matcha tea here. Sandwich choices are great and same as pastries selections.

Just fine. The matcha was sweeter than average and I didn?t taste the blueberry part in blueberry matcha.

One of the best doughnuts in LA. Super light dough...not too sweet glaze....its what a donut should be. And their Hong Kong style milk tea was great as well. We came early so the area wasn't as crowded yet. Had the Apple Pie, fruity pebbles donut hole, the strawberry cream, and the cinnamon crunch.

Good customer services, yummy food and best coffee drinks! I always come here every week or weekends and their pastries is so good!!

The craziest donut combinations! This place has BACON DONUTS! Never have I had something as complex and delicious as those donuts. They have so many different donuts with different delicious toppings. Their coffee smelled amazing too!!

Great service, yummy pastries and our coffee and hot chocolate was delicious. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. They do have a parking lot parking outside.

Walked by this place for years but never stopped in. Today was there first day that I tried it and it was pretty good. I got the blueberry matcha latte and the chocolate cream donut. The donut was around 2.50 and it was yummy very clean and carefully made and you can taste it in the donut. The blueberry matcha latte was a very pleasant surprise. It has a very nice blueberry taste that isn't too overpowering. I actually liked that the most from my visit today. Would definitely try some of their other drinks

Ordered a half dozen donuts to bring home. Interesting flavors. My favorite was the green tea donut. Very light and fluffy, like a beignet.

Original roti when served warm is amazing! So legit. Roti is a bread from Singapore. I would skip the matcha latte because it's kind of watered down and thin. The iced Vietnamese coffee was pretty good, ask for less sweet!

Everytime i come to LA, i have to get their blueberry matcha latte, it is my ultimate fav! All the other drinks are amazing too (hk milk tea, viet coffee). The food is good too but i come here for the blueberry matcha!

Coffee was amazing!!!! Best cup of coffee in LA, we also ordered apple pie donut and Caprese sandwich, delicious! I?m happy we found this place

The matcha hazelnut muffin was delicious ??

This place is a must!! The location couldn't be better and the staff is friendly. Furthermore, the food is scrumptious!!! I highly recommend the breakfast burrito, but you can't go wrong with anything you choose.

I go out of my to stop here any chance I get. The service is fast and friendly. The iced blueberry matcha is my favorite and absolutely divine. The green tea filled donuts are so tasty- fluffy with a little bit of chew and housing a delicious lightly sweetened vanilla custard. I order donuts to bring home and they are good for about 24 hours, but usually get eaten way before then. P.S. There?s often a line but it moves fast. I?m very never waited more than 5 minutes. Definitely worth a visit!

If you like it sweet, stop here for a treat. Decadent and filling, you will have your spoiling. They have every dessert from chocolate to cake to chocolate cake and donuts caked with sprinkled bits of dessert. Creative, yes. Vibes are wonderfully Japanese. Clean inside. Can't park close by, must park and walk a couple blocks.

Absolutely love eat here. The food is awesome!! I always get the Rose milk tea with the brick toast, a deliciuos pair.

Came across this place by chance while walking down Japanese village, worth the stop!! Too many donut options and they were super soft and gooey. Coffee was pretty good! Cute small cafe, and the place was a little too busy on the day. Overall pretty good ??

Perhaps amongst some of the best coffee in town. Very delicious, I regret buying a small cup. I recommend going in with an open mind, the Oreo cheesecake was also a great option.

You have to try the chicken Pesto sandwich. Not only is it so delicious but the salad is so refreshing. It's just so perfect. And my all time favorite The Matcha Blueberry Iced drink is a huge addiction ??. It's a must for me to buy with a bacon donut. It's heaven.

Your bean pastries are delicious and I love the Rose Matcha Latte. Plus good customer service.

Yum?green tea doughnut with cream filling just right?moist & not too sweet. Matcha latte tasty as well.

Good pastries. Had to repeat my order to the person at the door several times and they still got my order wrong, I ordered 6 things. When I went to let the young lady working the register know that I got the wrong donut she was rude about it, but did give me the right one. Not a great feeling.

Great place to get some desserts while you walk around Little Tokyo. Every time I come to Little Tokyo I get a dessert... the banana cream tart I think it?s called. Love it but it?s a bit pricey.
